It didn't go as he thought it would. Yes, he knew there would be reds, enough of them to cause trouble, but not for a second did he think there'd be anywhere near the amount that was bearing down on him from every direction. It wasn't like a damn slowly bursting under a massive amount of pressure. It was like the red sea reclaiming its territory after Moses decided to let his arms rest. There was a red everywhere. Hell, it was a choir to see any of the cement grey beneath their rushing numbers.

"No need to count them all" Jimmy muttered, raising his staff and aiming at a group of reds that almost close enough to kill him with their bad, coppery, breaths. "Lamma!" He called as he raised his staff and let loose a wave of invisible blades made out of pure will. Each of the blades found their marks in the blood sacks, causing a dozen or so vampire bellies to burst open. Every one of the vamps that got hit by the spell fell went down, and none bothered to get up. Which would've been cause for celebration, under most circumstances, but because of the twenty vamps leaping over their fellow brothers in arms, streamers and cakes were held off. "Inanis" he said, snapping his fingers and taking a step back. There was a loud POP, a violent movement of air, and then a condensed sphere of what used to be red court vampires.

Another wave went down because blades separating heads from necks had that effect. Before the next one got a chance to form up and aim towards him, Jimmy noted that at least half of the wards were down, which was good enough for him. "Inanis!" He shouted as a hole appeared where two doors used to be. "Now's not the time to risk running into a locked set of doors!" He said as a way to explain the strange act of destruction to anyone near enough to hear.

"Alright people, let's move in and see what kind of fruit we're going to get to reap today." He waved his arm, pointed to the opening and then started moving towards said opening. "Let's get inside." He turned towards Jade, and called "I hope you've got enough strength to open the way because I'm extremely doubtful we're going to be able to come out the same way we went in."

What's your idea for the winter knight and jumping in? I mean our characters are from Dresdens universe so will you be playing as the winter knight before him, or will you be a winter knight from one of the world's we visit?

Also I think I'm going to start posting regularly because I have trouble starting again after waiting awhile. So I'll shoot for making Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday my reply days

Name: Duo
Age: 44

Gender: Male
Personality: Duo is snarky, and sarcastic to the core. He has a short temper and doesn't waste time playing nice. That is, he's naturally unwilling to compromise or soften his words so others won't feel bad about themselves. He can act like a genuinely nice person if the situation calls for it. Duo is an extremely competent Private investigator. Due to the wide variety of Duos which have roamed different areas, read different things, learned different skills, and just experienced different things, Duo has a wide variety of information and abilities which he can call up at a moment's notice.
Bio: Duo doesn't remember much about his earlier life, or even any of it. One night he woke up in the back of an alley with a huge gash going down from his forehead to the side of his neck. The whole cloning himself thing came as much as a surprise to him as it did the muggers who tried to rob him of whatever valuable object they thought a fully naked man could have on him. The next couple of months went by in a blur but settled with Duo in charge of his own investigation agency(not the government sanctioned kind) with a small office in the corner of a busy street.
Abilities:
Self replication- Duo possesses the ability to clone himself. It takes about three minutes for each clone to be made. All clones are identical to the one they were cloned from in every way, possessing the former's skills, free will, attitudes, thoughts, the self replicating abilities, and even whatever items/ articles of clothing the "original" had. Each clone can also sense the basic area, and physical state of other clones, but other than this they have no special way of communicating. If a Duo is badly damaged(near dying) it is incapable of creating other clones. When two or more Duos fuse they create a "new" Duo that's fully healed with all the memories of the Duos involved in the fusion. Even though any Duo can create another clone of itself, there's a limit to the number of Duos which can exist at any one time, which will (appear to) be about 25 at the start of the story.

Species: Human(Possessed)

Gender: Male

Personality: ITs not difficult to talk with Jynmi as he's open with people and has an easy time being empathetic with others, or at least that's the impression he gives off. Don't be fooled though at heart he's an introvert, and keeps the majority of himself hidden. Too much time with others drains him, and makes him irritable. He's a strange combination of idealism and practicality. He's also extremely emotional but tries to control this problem by resorting to the strictest forms of logic he can manage. He is a firm apathist(previously an atheist) which is someone who believes in God(s) but doesn't worship them. Fact is he holds anything divine or infernal that claims to have right to subjugate lesser beings due the difference in power, in the greatest realm of disdain. He prefers the company of animals to people.

Bio: Jynmi came into the world like most babies: kicking, screaming, and covered in someone else's blood. He didn't leave it in quiet the same openly defiant manner, the first time. In fact, when he left the world of the living it came as a bit of a shock. One moment he was taking a shower and he was looking up at the ceiling as it got further and his body rushed towards the ground. Reflexively he grabbed the cord for the radio and pulled on tightly to it, hoping he could bring himself to a stop. He failed at avoiding the fall but managed to pull the radio down into the half filled tub with him. There was a szzzzz sound, but he didn't really notice it.

The story would've been over there but Jynmi's soul wasn't like others. It was big, and comfy with a sign on it that said vacancy. So something made itself at home, because it beat an eternity in hell, if even for a just a little bit. Somewhere buried in the cushy love seat that was Jynmi's soul the being felt the end of Jynmi's life and reacted in the only way it could to bring Jynmi back from the dead.

When Jynmi opened his eyes he was naked and there's was a beautiful woman with skin the color of ranch dressing without the black bits, dark black hair, and the wildest red eyes anyone could find outside of something rabid living in some dark twisted woods. She told Jynmi her name was Lilith and they were going to be spending a lot of time together from this day on, because Lilith and Jynmi really didn't exist as separate entities any longer due to destroying the borders that kept them apart being the only means by which she could save him so she wouldn't have to go back to hell. Now that their one, both of their souls are bound for the same place.
