@DuthguyDuthguy, Jensoman and I were discussing something about your hornets, and how they're pretty mediocre at the moment. We're aware that you'll probably receive something like Armament Haki in the future and have the equivalent of metal hornets or something (which is really fucking cool), but since we don't want to do Haki too-too early on, especially for Devil Fruit users, we were wondering how you felt about a temporary buff for them, kind of like Chopper's Rumble Balls before the timeskip?

I know you're going for a support-type thing, and I really like that personally because I do that a lot in my RPs (Example: I did a Naruto RP not too long ago, and I made myself a genjutsu user for team support), but the moral of being a support is "You need to survive to protect your friends, and if you can't protect yourself then you die." Teamfights are sometimes hard to manage, so 1v1s like what we just did will probably precede them consistently. Which is your weakest point, and that's not a bad thing, but if it's so weak that we end up having to cater to it, well, that's just not a whole lot of fun for us.

We're bouncing around ideas of what to do specifically, but it is your character, your fruit, and your ultimate decision. I really enjoy the concept of your fruit, and its future capabilities. The issue is, you know, you've gotta survive to get to the future. So let's discuss what can be done reasonably to pump up this situation for now. We don't want to make Asus a character you don't want to RP, but we also want Asus to be a character that we, as GMs, can RP with reasonably.

Not sure if you guys are taking up suggestions, but I have some ideas that might help.

Maybe something to increase the pace in which his body is able to manufacture the hornets fast enough to replace their losses during battle like he'll enter some kind of battle mode where in exchange for energy consumption his body will rapidly produce hornets the second he loses any.

Another possibility is allowing for his body to break the maximum number of wasp he can create. Basically he'll make way more wasps than his body is able to contain and at the end of the battle any of the wasps that can't fit inside him will die. Not sure what kind of drawback one could be put to this ability, but increased energy consumption is always a good idea, or maybe it begins harder for him to focus because of the greater numbers at his control.

There's also allowing for changing the types of hornets released. They do vary from species to species. Though, really the major difference between them that would have any baring on battle would be varying the level of toxicity.

While we're on the subject of types there are queen wasps that start up their entire hives alone. Perhaps if Asus knows where the fight will take place in advanced he can send out a queen to create a sort of back up hive which would add his numbers.

A possible type or armor could also be a thing since wasps make their own cones like bees. It wouldn't be the strongest material but it could add a small layer of protection.

Silk is another factor Asus may be able to use, because Wasp Larvae do spin it around themselves so they can enter metamorphosis

Also, sometimes when a hornet is killed near a nest it can activate an aggression response from the entire hive. Not sure how one would go about using that, but its there.

Not sure if any of these help
Mmmm Not sure if this would be okay, but would it be alright for me to change my last post so that Abigail can directly engage combat with Yami? This way we won't have to wait for duthguy to reply. If not that's cool. Just excited about the next arc.
"Not sure what happened to Lenny but Sophia couldn't really fight any more." Abigail thought about drawing her sword, the hand was already on the handle, but there was just something unwholesome about readying a weapon in front of someone in tears. "Her armor is a pile of scraps and there's a debilitating wound on her arm. If it makes you feel any better it wasn't easy."

Abigail's eyes narrowed at the last enemy. "Your not going to go away are you?" The woman in red let out a slow breath then took a step forwards and then another but stopped there. "WEll then, if your set on this path I can't stop you." She drew her sword and started walking towards their last enemy, red electricity surged around her unarmed hand.
bump...
"Oh shoot." Abigail muttered after she accidentally locked Sophia into her room. "Sorry about that." She played with the idea of opening it but it was probably better if that was held off till they left. Even though she spared the marine there was no way to ensure with one hundred percent certainty that there wouldn't be a moment where a knife was suddenly sticking out of someone's back. She made a mental note to open the door before she left.

"Hey guys" the red pirate said, smiling wide and waving at both of them. "It's good to see neither of you are bags of gore. HOnestly, was a bit afraid that would be the case." She paused when a better look at Zypha was presented. "Well your almost there, but your intestines are still in your gut so that doesn't count." Another pause. "Your not going to collapse are you? If you need to sit down I'm sure there's time." A last and final pause. "Yep. It wasn't easy but I managed to luck my way out." She laughed.

"Asus." Abigail said as she just noticed there was a luck in his face. "Are you alright? You seem troubled. I hope facing off against someone like that didn't mess with you too badly" She put a reassuring hand on the man's shoulder. "This is the life we've chosen and sometimes we're not going to have any choice but to put someone down hard. Don't feel guilty, alright. You did what you had to do."
There wasn't the kind of resistance Abigail had been expecting. Instead of her sword bouncing off like it had done in the past or sink just deep enough to giver her a chance at using the dendo-dendo earthworm on the steel, but instead the blade passed through the black metallic body like the laws of dramatic finallies demanded. It was a bit of a curve ball and she almost tripped from the momentum she was sure would be waiting for her if she got to the other side.

Fear gripped her when she realized Sophia was behind her. She spun around on her heels, ready for another attack but none were coming. Instead the woman had not only surrendered but opened the door for the red haired pirate and even begged to be spared. Confused, and expecting it to be another ruse she took a step back but none came.

"Oh?" Abigail said, hanging her head low and sighing. "Well what can I say? Your not exactly my type, but it would be a shame to hurt such a pretty face." She shrugged and put her sword back into its sheath. "Anyways, I can't exactly kill you since you've surrendered, now can I?" She crouched down and gave her formal rival a quick peck on the lips. "Well Kid, until we meet again." Remote in hand she turned and hurried out the room.

The red pirate stopped in the main room and looked around. "Now which one did Asus go to again?" There was no reason why she couldn't go back and ask Sophia but the desire to leave that sweet farewell the way it was. "Oh screw it." She looked at the remaining buttons and pushed one at random.
Ooh! I didn't know that. I wouldve done it so abby knocked her foe out:(

Never mind. Just saw hatmans reply :)
"Hey it worked!?" Abigail said as she took a step back after her attack was parried. "Well that was a lucky break." She grinned and pointed down at the rubble with her sword. "Get it? Lucky break. Eh-eh. Well, I thought it was funny." She shrugged and put both hands on her sword. "Well, for what its worth. I'm amazed your still alive. That was a pretty big explosion, kid and your still standing without so much as having your entire body covered in third degree burns."

The redhead shrugged her shoulders before crouch down and readying her sword for slash. Red electricity surged from her left hand up the handle into the blade. "Hate hurting such a cutie like you, kid, but there's no way I'm leaving a marine behind to stab me in the back. Well, get ready, Kid, because here I come." She grinned without humor and shot forward.

Well skeptic had voiced interest in doing the 1st and eemmtt had said he was fine either way, but both of them haven't appeared since then so we could go the other route if enough people prefer that. Although there hasn't appeared to be any further interest so this might've died in the womb.
Mmmm well yes, that would be half of it. The other half would be with moving from various fandom universes, or versions of fandoms. I've never done one that's just versions of our own though. So that might be interesting. If we do go that route then finding a world where America is completely different because the native tribes decided to band together to repel the European settlers would have to be somewhere we visit.
