I actually prefer unique and weak, over bland and bandwagon powers. XD I am using mine in a way that limits pretty much to just melee combat, using a variety of melee styles. At times it will brawling, and at others it will be agile and speedy. I may even incorporate a melee weapon other his powers, if that is ok with PS.
Indeed. O.O Sorry to have randomly thrown my two scents in, I just like to help expand the knowledge, and offer people as many tools as possible when roleplaying.
Also, Neon can be, aside from Plasma as it is in game, made of a mixture of gases. Gaseous Neon filled bulbs often time make up the of the neon works, as tey start as gas, then become heated in the bub and essentially become Plasma, though some stay gaseous.
Name: Eric Thompson

Age: 28

Gender: Male

Appearance:

Personality: Eric was always quiet, and never really open to just being happy and playing and having fun as a kid. His entire life consisted of being quiet, and simply following orders. His parents were of an older sort and they were raised by older parents of their own who grew up hard-scrabble lives in West Virginia and Ohio. This caused Eric to grow up on the rougher side of parenting, and that was a good thing. He was disciplined and raised with manners, and he grew up with respect. As he grew older, this didn't change a whole lot, except for the fact he got quieter. His parents weren't exactly happy together and his father, while he cared for his father as a son would, was an angry man who constantly yelled and hollered. He was always mad at Eric and his mother, because they did everything wrong and never did enough. Eric had to constantly be working outside and his mother had to be constantly cleaning the house or cooking less his father would explode and go into a rage fit for a tyrant king. He would constantly throw dishes, remotes, phones, and anything he could his hands on. He never threw the stuff at Eric or his mother, but he threw stuff nonetheless. It only got worse with each passing year until Eric was fifteen. Eric, at that point, stopped talking altogether in a pit of depression and went through his last years in school without saying more then a handful of words at one time. He never had friends, and never had a girlfriend, and never had anyone to talk to, ever. Even on this very day, he is still quiet, but not the same quiet he was in school, or at home.

Conduit Powers: Bio-material/Genetic Manipulation. His power is the ability to manipulate genetic material and essentially shift or "rewrite" it in some aspects. He has a very specific variant of this ability that he uses though, as it is easier for him to control and in many way's it is how he sees himself. His primary powers(I have it set up to describe his primary powers that way I can assure you understand I won't make this Op.) are the uses of Genetic Manipulation to shift his own features into that of animalistic forms. For example he often uses "Lycanthropic-esque" forms for combat or quick travel around the environment. He can also preform partial shifts which relate to segmented parts of his body. Though when he partially shifts he can only do partial shifts of that type. He cannot mix partial shifts of multiple types. An example would be the inability to create wings while also wielding large wolf-like claws. He can only accent his form with one animal type at a time, because an overload of more then one type causes his body to breakdown and reject the meld and he could end up killing himself from the genetic level. His powers, like any other, is fueled by that form of matter within the world, thus he must constantly absorb genetic and organic material when his powers are expended and he needs to refuel. His powers are somewhat unique, in that when he absorbs organic material he has limited access outside of that genetic material, so he often consumes what he wants to use for the situation.

Background/Curdun Cay Experience: Eric grew up in a less-then-functional home, and it did wonders for his personality and mentality, but it wasn't until he was fifteen that he discovered his powers. His father had put down the beloved family cat because it kept scratching the hood of the family's truck when it climbed up onto it, and when the cat was put down, it was simply shot out of the blue. Eric didn't know about it until he heard the gun shot, and while he was exactly in love with this cat, he was upset and his father left him with disposing of the cat. He took the limp feline out back and began digging a grave, but while doing so a stray, ferocious dog was found out by the shed. This wasn't uncommon for a rural area in West Virginia. The dog saw Eric as an aggressor when Eric tried to shoo the dog away by shaking his hand and the shovel at it. The dog charged forward, and while it didn't seem very large far away it quickly grew into a hulk of a canine..(WIP. I HAVE TO LEAVE ABRUPTLY FOR IMPORTANT FAMILY MATTERS THAT I WASN'T AWARE OF, SORRY.)
I am not speaking directly for FVGT, I am merely giving an answer on what I would think.

Honestly, I would imagine that they know what a Taser is, so long as it still looks like a Taser Gun, whether it be pistol or Shotgun format. Electrical Magic is more of the harnessing raw electricity through technology like Tesla coils and Arc chambers, and batteries, and etc to wield electricity alone as a weapon. If anything a taser would most likely be considered an enchanted weapon, if it weren't simply understood as a Taser gun.
I may, or may not be up for that. I do like the setting of the Avatar series, but I am not sure if it is something I would enjoy just yet, but I will be thinking on it.
Where? *Shuffles about frantically before slowing to a pause.* Oh.. you mean me? XD Kidding.
If we don't happen to get two more, we can always be the Fantastic/Frightening Four. It just means there is more for each of us to do. XD Though I would spread the word, alas I have nowhere to spread the word too. I don't even look at facebook anymore, and I am certainly the only one of my friends who is a fan of InFamous.
Bertrand, John. XD Names are names, but you understood who I was referring to in the matter. Names can be tricky to remember when you haven't played them and only remember the research from last year.

Also, Blood Festival has not(yet) been confirmed as canon, but it has not been stated as non-canon. It is actually something of debate on many forums, as some people believe that vampiric genes could be a sub-strain of conduits, but I am not all that into deep belief of the vampire deal. I am not a huge vampire fan at all really, I prefer Lycans.

As for what you were saying with Second Son, that is what I was meaning. I have told people of it before, and yet I find an odd number of people dislike the concept of genetic and organic manipulation. I also find that most of the time it is because of laziness, silliness, or stupidity. That is why I have to go through this whole questionnaire ordeal to see if you are one of the more knowledge and reasonable people like myself. XD

Anyway, I will get to work on a CS, I am thinking of having his powers be a cross between one or two full-fledged forms and a few partial transformations. Oh, and I will need to decide whether him absorbing bio-material and organic matter will be a bad or thing around people. XD I need to know if his powers are supplied by animals, people or something else. I would say animals and people, which could make him an Antagonist.
I am interested, but I do have things I would like to discuss about the Conduits.

I am a heavy fan of Infamous, sadly I have not played the second one, but I have run through #1 and Second Son more times then I would like to admit. In addition to my previous statement, I would like to add while my physical experience of the second Infamous game is lacking, I have read up on it hardily and enjoy the details and particulars. Thus, I have that gap filled.

Now, I know that all seems like jumbled randomness, but it is merely there to let you know that I am well versed in this lore and universe. My discussion topic is of powers my character(s) may or may not have in the rp. I am a roleplayer fond of the primal, bestial, and animalistic aspects of things. I play many Rangers, Beastmasters, Lycans, Primal Envoys, and the like. As such I have an idea for a similar character in this world who utilizes powers of the primal and bestial aspects. If you wish to interject this option with the idea that it is unfitting of the universe, I might wish to commend you John- A.K.A The Beast. He was able to turn pedestrians into meta-morphed Conduit creatures of grand power, and while he is in fact a unique conduit, his power of a non-matter-based concept like many of the others. The next is the Blood Festival for Infamous 2, in which Cole is turned into a Vampiric Conduit and gains unique Vampiric Powers.

While the basis for conduits is the control of matter, whether it be natural, synthetic, or otherwise, I do believe there are many other powers that could be utilized as well in the Conduit universe. If you disagree, I am fine with that, and I can find something else to use as a power, but I will surely stand and vouch for this concept first.
