Current The proof of a healthy mind is not its ability to solve the problems that are before it, but the subconscious understanding not to for the sake of health itself.

As the bowl of patunias would say, as it falls through the air to meet the planet's hard rocky surface: "Not again."

Is a man not entitled to the sweat of his brow? No says the man in Washington it belongs to the poor. No says the man in the Vatican it belongs to God. No says the man in Moscow it belongs to everyone

Talking in riddles is fun. Putting them to poem is better. Presentation is the key.

I have some work to do in a paper, but I will try to get a post up tonight for Jason.
@RhineQueen How does Chad keep a low profile exactly? I just wanted to know since he has no way to disguise himself, and his anatomy would make it hard to just cover up.
@Otaku95awesome thanks! can't wait to start.
I can lessen it when I get back to him, but in human form he can not lift cars; I said that he could tip mid-sized cars.
Name:
Jason Haldred

Age:
23 (116)

Species: Human/Gargoyle

Occupation:
Table boy at the bar.

Powers/Abilities:
As a half gargoyle Jason has a few passive abilities heightening his human senses, and are amplified when a gargoyle.

Sight: Jason can see 4x better than the normal human, and while in his gargoyle form he can enhance his sight to see heat signatures as well. He is also an expert tracker.

Hearing: Jason has always been a good listener, but the extent of his ability to hear can depend on the situation. In a perfect setting Jason could hear, clearly, whispers from 20 yards (60 feet) away. As a gargoyle this distances is almost tripled at 50 yards (150 feet).

Smell: Jason can train his olfactory senses to aid in many different situations (e.g. smelling compounds, people…)

Strength: While in human form Jason can lift a considerable amount in comparison to his size (tip mid-sized cars), and while in gargoyle form he is capable of lifting up to 2 tons.

Flight: When in his gargoyle form, Jason has wings that are leathery on the underside, but scaled on the outer allowing to be used as a shield from small fire-arms.

Personality:
Jason has a dark history with the human race, but puts up a front to keep his low profile intact. On the outside Jason seems like a normal person just trying to make his way in life as he works as the bar. He talks, jokes and and occasionally dances. On the inside he is filled with anger and hate for what he hold them all accountable for.

Backstory:
Jason was born 116 years ago to Ka'Haldur, one of the kings among gargoyles, making Jason the prince over their land in Eastern France, though at the time his name was Ja'Soldur. As a child of a king Ja'Soldur had only known the lifestyle that accompanied his house and family. He was taught from a very young age about the world around him, history and religions. This was how his life progressed until the Holy War. In human history this was a time of witch hunts, and the slaying of demonic creatures that the church had conviced the people were a plague upon the earth. For many years Ka'Haldur tried to show the people that they were not evil or demonic, but it was not as easy as he had hoped. Sure he was able to win the hearts of some, but these people were branded as heretics, sorcerers of evil and witches getting them burned and tormented.
Finally out of options and the Crusaders quickly taking their land Ka'Haldur turned to war as his final solution. This resulted in many years of blood shed and loss for both sides, but as time progressed the Crusaders had began to learn weaknesses in that the gargoyle kind had. As the enemy began the use of these 'Holy tactics' the war took a turn for the worst against Ka'Haldur and his kind. Ja'Soldur wanted nothing more than to fight back, and he begged his father to let them summon the Great One. Ka'Haldur refused telling his son that if they were to summon him that his power would send the world into a never ending darkness, killing everything they were fighting to restore.
A few more years go by and Ka'Haldur, with his wife and son, are on the run as the Crusaders begin to siege their land and storm their kingdom. Fleeing with sorcerer who had acted as their ambassador many years prior he told them that he could cast a spell over them allowing them to hide among the humans if they so wished. Ja'Soldur looked to his parents and say a sadness in their eye. The were old, too old to keep running and hiding, but their son, the prince, could have this one chance to live and one day reclaim their lost lands. Ja'Soldur refused at first wanted to stay with his father and mother, but after they explained to him what his destiny was now he relented and accepted the offer.
Now taking the human of Jason Haldred, and forsaking his destiny of reclaiming the kingdom, he makes his own path through the ages. The sorcerer gave him a warning with the spell. "It will make you human, but only lessen your powers in that form. As you learn you will be able to change between both freely, but this spell has a price... every month when there is no moon, the utter darkness will draw out your true form and from sun down to sun up you will be unable to sustain the human form."

Notes:
Likes - The moon light, wilderness lands, cold weather and drawing
Dislikes - Humans, Churches, Catholics, anything Templar and confronting his destiny
Fears - Being the last of his kind, be found out and being rejected
Necklace - The necklace Jason has is a clear, pale blue stone with white marbling. It glows one hour before sunset on a night with no moon.
Weakness - Silver infused Steel.

This could be an interesting bout of Arkham Horror. I will be watching.
Yeah I haven't forgotten about this, I am just really busy with work and college.
Totes the same way. For about a month I over plan things and try to get them done, and about 3/4 of the way through I feel like all I want to do is sleep and drink soda because I am so stressed out.
As a medical man I will have to say that this RP has a very small window of survival, but this does not mean that giving up on it is an option. I shall wait for a response as long as I am here.
