Okay, good luck packing a full desktop rig into a suitcase when you travel to Latvia, dude. XD The console was more portable, but I didn't think I'd get to play it. I was wrong, could have packed it, didn't.

It is true that PC's are a bit big, but if tyou want to put our the extra dosh a CHRONOS rig is 11.75"x4", but it is rather expensive at that point. Still do-able. PC MASTER RACE!

I understand your concern about the Tracer ability, but this spell is not as powerful as it may seem. Yes it allows for 100% accuracy, but that is if the target is standing still or moving in a slow or predictable (straight) path and Butch needs to have fired the weapon once before being able to "Trace" the next shot.

Trifecta is supposed to work like a bullet train, for lack of a better example. It would consume three shots and each one would follow on the same path, but it cannot be used with rifles.

I really dont think these spells are more powerful than others:

Quicksilver: ...This results in the enemy being barraged by hundreds of projectiles within a short span of time. Flynt can even envelope each individual flake of metal in flames which causes additional damage.

Shooting Star: ...Firing several bullets into the sky, Flynt's magic is dispersed into the atmosphere and summons a multitude of small meteors to impact a designated area with each meteor causing a powerful explosion upon touching down.

Reanimation: He can regenerate or restore his body to perfect condition, even if his body is already deceased. If is body is completely destroyed he can recreate his body from other organic matter.

Life Transfer: He can take away organic material and decay a nonliving target with an exception of his own body or plants, and transfer that into regenerating another target's body. This can heal many wounds and injuries even loss limbs or organs.

There are also many of Reginald Dubois' spells which make him an extreme power house.

@Master Crim Alright, so Tracer seems quite dangerous. It sounds like using this spell will result in always 100% accurate shots which you can see how that would be a problem. It needs to be balanced. I'm assuming Trifecta isn't 100% accurate all the time (at least not the initial shot anyways)?

If you build your own computer a good rig can be made for 800-900, and I am not sure about the release date for NMS i lost interest when I wouldn't be able to explore with my friend.

Biography

Butch and his family belonged to a traveling band of gypsies that would host what could be called a fair or festival. Some towns loved having the group around as it lifted folks spirits and provided a fun time for all ages, but other towns saw them as heathens and wanted nothing to do with them, some violently. When set up for a festival the McKone’s run both an attraction and shop, Butch and his father hosted a sharp shooter show and contest while his mother and two sisters made necklaces and bracelets. As a family they made enough during events to get buy, and with some towns were able to afford a little more extravagant things. Things were good, and they were happy… Until one of their long treks across a waist land changed everything.

The way things had turned towns were formed in more of clusters around certain resources making a hand full of towns populate a general region while others were a great distance away, The Gypsy group had a regular circuit they work around the groups that included two long treks across large desert waists to reach new locals. These treks usually took a few days of hard pressing across empty, and sometimes unforgiving, terrain. For many years the group had traveled a stretch of waist land that took them close to the division between the Living Land and the Helscape which is why some of the towns refused to have them, they believed passing so close made them unclean. It was sort of and earie sight some nights watching the distant sky be lit by the molten Helscape just beyond the horizon. Butch’s father told him there was nothing to fear because a group of mages watched over this part and that is why they took it, it was the safest rout between the town clusters. It wasn’t until much later that Butch learned that was only a half truth, and it was the last time he would take that path as a family.

Butch doesn’t talk much about his past much, but there are rumors his clients have that say his family is trapped in the Helscape, others that say he is just a crazy man looking for death, but none of them know where his family is or what rumors are real or not. What is known is his gypsy group is mostly gone now other than a few acquaintances of his that are more like ghosts that give him intel on various thing related to jobs and god know what else. He is now a hunter for hire weather is be man or beast he can kill it for a price.

As depicted in the Character Picture Butch uses a five shot .56 caliber rifle and two break-hinge .44 caliber revolvers, he also has a large and intricately engraved knife that measures a seven inch blade.

Spells

The long years of being a gypsy was more than just making money and travel for Butch, the reason his father ran a sharp shooting attraction was that he was a mage with skills to match. Though he didn’t have many spells to teach Butch was happy to learn them.

Tracer: Tracer is a spell that allows Butch to quickly analyze the condition in order to make a dead accurate long range shot accounting for bullet drop, wind, temperature and other variables. This Spell takes very little mana to use, but Butch needs to have fired the gun at least once before.

Eagle Spot: This spell is one of the most helpful in Butches line-up, but also take the most mana. Butch is able to summon one or more eagles that he can see through as they fly through the sky.

Trifecta: The strongest of Butch’s spells, and perhaps the most deadly. Trifecta allows him to fire three shots, one immediately after the other, so that all three hit the same point on a target getting the most penetration and damage in one instance.

Okay so I am just about finished with the CS, but need a little more info. What type of weapons are we looking at for this RP; how far back are we going with guns and rifles? From your intro to the world I can deduce we have revolvers, but how early are the makes? What is the rule on rifles?

Yeah, I have the problem of trying to find the player number sweet spot with it, and getting people to stay past my first few character expositions. When I had everything straight (for about two weeks) it had a very heavily story driven plot to start where characters WERE SUPPOSED TO BUILD ON THEIR SKILLS, but the players were like "tl;dr lets just fight!" only two of my players knew what was supposed to happen while the others had none of that quality building stuff. I guess introducing main characters with 2 paragraphs of displaying who they are and why they can't just fight him now is too much for some people...
