@Cynder Over. Erdogan won and now he's cleansing the 'traitors'. This is the absolute best case scenario for him - even better than if the coup didn't happen at all! Now he can use it as an excuse to shape the state further to his whim. I don't like it at all.

Edit: Case in point.
@Inertia Just saw this as well. I don't know what to think, sources are still conflicting. Though...I do want Erdogan replaced. It just sucks that people have to be hurt in the process.

We'll see how it all ends.
@Cynder If you want to follow all the bits, the Reddit live thread Inertia linked is your best bet I say. I also found this article from BBC and this live thread from Bloomberg. Hope they'll be helpful!
@Cynder The VPN suggestion has been going around since the start. For good reason, too. At the beginning they blocked certain social sites, but they could still be accessed by changing your DNS. Then they blocked that method too and now it looks like even general Internet connection is in trouble. It really is the last opportunity for people to get a VPN up.
@Inertia It's pretty much a 'tradition' over there. A good one, I guess? Either way, Erdogan knew this well and did his best to purge the military of disloyal officers. This coup may have been delayed multiple times because of this. It's absolutely happening now though!

Edit: Erdogan asking the people to 'go out and protest' in his name.
@Cynder Because you seem to be interested in this: There have been, as @Inertia pointed out, multiple coups by the military throughout modern history in order to retain Turkey's secularism. Namely:

1913
1960
1971
1980
1993
1997
Because 2016 does not simply go 24 hours without something massive happening!
It's up! My apologies, I was busy for most of these recent days—but I still managed to get something quite sizeable out today! The beginning might be a little sloppy, I don't know, I wasn't entirely satisfied. It gets better towards the end though!

My main goal with this was giving multiple perspectives. There's the warden, who wants to break free of the Templar influence at all costs, there's Emerico who is ever-cautious and curious, there's Rodrigo who is getting rather upset because of a certain Assassin... Along those lines, I also tried to keep the connection firm but still flowing between the story and our own world. Ezio is out there—his attention is just focused elsewhere for now.

Also, as you can see I gave you freedom to get your characters set up however you wish and detail the last prison scenes as much as you'd like. Though the death-faking was their idea, I thought it was pointless to have four people march to the warden—it wasn't that complicated of a task. Even still, our posts might have to shorten now that we're all together and there will be plenty of interaction. We'll see how it turns out!

For now, we have to decide on the first mission. You can set it up if you wish or you can have another smaller thing happen first if you have something in mind. Up to you!

Oh and, of course...enjoy and tell me what you think of it all!
