What I'm Looking For
Just what it says on the tin.
I want to do a Danny Phantom x DC crossover (focus on Wayne Family Adventures). I would want to play Danny Fenton/Phantom against Jason Todd/Red Hood. I also have experience playing Tim Drake/Red Robin, so if you want to double against him, I'm down.
Preferred Premise:
Danny has come to Gotham to disappear. He is not looking to hero, and he is not looking to be found. Due to the GIW, anti-ecto legislation, and a long history of being hunted, he guards his identity and abilities at all costs.
Jason meets Danny first — either as himself or as Red Hood — with no knowledge that Danny is Phantom. Phantom exists separately: as an urban legend, a recurring problem, or something Gotham can’t quite categorize.
HOWEVER
I'm down for most things. Give me: hurt/comfort, angst, slow burn, secret identities, secrecy under threat (threat being GIW and Anti-Ecto legistlation), psychological pressure, hard-won trust, inherent trust, Ghost King Danny, Revenant Jason, Halfa Jason, urban myths (Phantom becomes Gotham's newest urban myth), cults, accidental meet-cutes, and more. Toss anything my way and I'll let you know if it lands. Action should be a catalyst, however; NOT a centerpiece.
Some specific quotes/ideas that go along with the kind of RP I'm searching for:
[*]Identity secrecy and half-truths under pressure
[*]Jason growing protective of Danny before understanding why
[*]GIW and anti-ecto themes, institutional betrayal, and fear of exposure
[*]Trauma responses, dissociation, and psychological strain
[*]Care and trust developing before romance
[*]Danny suppresses his abilities at personal cost
[*]Jason notices inconsistencies but chooses patience
[*]Comfort is earned, not immediate
[*]The eventual reveal is delayed, emotionally charged, and messy
I just really, really enjoy messing with identity horror as it pertains to Danny, especially when it involves him refusing to be seen until it almost causes him to break entirely.
You should absolutely bring Jason's trauma along, too.
