"Armor usually protects vital organs or other such important features. As of now, we only have one piece of armor on the grimm that is apparent." he said and pointed to the face mask. "This is the only solid appearing structure on the creature, therefore you must either punch through the mask or get around it from another angle. "One could assume that hacking at the rest of the mass might merely be a waste of time as the grimm itself has not bothered to armor it either."
As Silvi scored the blob, she might have noticed something a bit off about it, but then again it was a blob of fossilized grimm, it was always going to be "off".
"You see miss Silvi that is where you are wrong, these ancient blob forms are interesting to look at and unseen before or outside this area. Now, may i ask the class what is the significance of this?" He asked the group in general.

Now is when Mika piped up. "It is important because you can run into unique variants or unseen grimm and need to be able to identify weakpoints at a glance..." she said, happy to be in the hot cauldron.

The doctor walked over to the blobbed ones. "Exactly my point. now who can identify possible weakpoints to attack on these?" he asked and gestured to them. The blobs had a porcelain-like mask and was otherwise featureless.
"Oh, right, My apollogies students!" Said the professor, walking over and taking the glasses, matching his pair he was wearing. "Wondered where those had gotten to while i was down here scouting to make sure it was fine for you students!" said the man, obviously a bit flustered as he shoved them into his pockets. "Hazzards of exploring ofcourse!"
Mika just shrugged it off, showing curiosity to the forms before her. Studying closer, The three forms were kind of smooth and almost blobby with a single porcelain looking face. "Goinig to guess... you are one of the... ones studying them..." she said, getting closer. "What do you.. guys think about them." she asked looking back at Silvi and Aiden.
The girl had finished the schneid, straight built with panel lining and some minor detailing and loved it. Curiously though, it was weird to see that they were going to do something else as well, but also wondered how many things she would need to do before she was accepted. Failing really wasn't an option. Getting up with her kit, Jess followed the instructor to wherever they were going.
Finishing the frame, Jessica stared at the relatively unarmored Ibo frame and at the ranged weapons. Ideas formed in her head, but she shook it. This suit needed something special to it. she could hear it calling to her, but this wasn't the suit she needed. From memory, she had one suit left to be chosen. She needed something different for the coming moments. Woundwort was a very flexible suit with minimal armaments. The girl needed something she could get comfortable in. Walking back up to the carts; Jess stood there for a few minutes, listening and staring at each suit, she grabbed an efreet schneid, feeling this was the suit she needed as it called to her most. Returning to the table in relative silence, she began to work on it.
"Soup... sounds good... and so does the tour... could use some tips.." she said, walking and following the professor. The professor meanwhile lead them out of town and to the mountain, to a cave that led into the volcano. Moving into the tunnel, they saw fossils of some of the grimm. "The fantastic thing is students, these grimm were petrified instead of their normal death cycles meaning we can study them without worry of evaporation." he explained and led them into the "core" of the volcano, an open ledge area that they could stand in. On one side admist rocks was three rather odd looking grimm. "These are the mysterious ones, we don't know much of them." he said, the astute of the group would see glasses near the edge of the lava pool, seemingly cracked and broken.
Jessica grumbled, but heeded the warning. She pulled her unit off the base and took a seat back in the crowd, wanting to show off her skills. Upon hearing the announcement of the next suit, the girl decided to grab a flauros. "Not going to let gimmicks end me." she said to herself, taking the kit.
"Precisely young Aiden. To know where they're going, you must look at where they've been." said the professor and quickly gathered everyone up, including the slow moving and shivering mika. "We are taking a field trip!" Professor Dawn said, gesturing for the kids to follow him out of the school and towards the volcano.
"Exploding things? sounds interesting. And come to think of it... rather dangerous... like punching a person can make them salsa..." Pointed out Mika to aiden, then looked at Silvi. "And sure... when you move slow like me.. kinda get used to having to take a punch till you can predict things... so you learn to use your aura well. Don't even think about it most of the time now.." she explained and bundled the scarf tighter around her neck, enjoying the warmth it brought her.

The day would go by easily, classes being introductory ones, unfortunately, moose had some homework for them, explain their takes on semblence and aura and what they think they're relevant to as your person. Bob gave basic maintenance lessons to them and started going into WAY too much detail about where the origins of dust fueled weapons came from, tangenting off into way too specific details and histories of key figures and so forth... The twins went about criticizing fighting styles. Mika got too comfortable in adjusting to one speed of fighting and couldn't handle people who changed pace, silvi didn't have quite enough foresight for the twin's liking and Aiden didn't act decisively enough, leaving time for his teammates to get overwhelmed by the twins. They didn't fault them as they were kids, but approached them as areas for improvement, still with the twin speak.

A week would go by without much in the way of interesting things happening, till the next friday, a new arrival to the school, another teacher. A Biologist, but not for humans, for Grimm.
Sitting in the class, the kids watched the tall and lanky man, skinny and limbs looking a little bit too long for the torso he had. "Good Day children, I'm Professor Dawn, Grimm Biologist. My Apologies for being late, my boat was caught in a storm for the duration, we had to make island fall till the grimm and the storm went away. We are lucky to be on the island, for it has unique properties such as the semi active volcano, allowing us to travel back in time and experience some of the early grimm who were turned to stone and not dissolved like they usually do." said the pale man, looking even more like a ghost than Mika did, and she was pale to begin with.
"I'm just making sure you're a not a trans am kiddie." Said the girl, smiling and trying to draw out a bit more anger. She took her woundwort and case over to the station. Placing down the woundwort, she put the second beam rifle and put it on the suit. "I mean, i'm sure you could beat me if you had your precious exam or transam or ntd mode, right?" She said, now just trying to throw the girl of her game as much as possible.
