Current The moment you realize you spend more time working in titanpads than... anything else. Not sure if I should be proud or concerned.

Spells in the Dark (18+ For dark and suggestive themes: Join the witches or the hunters and they circle each other in a bleak world on the edge of annhilation. Can they come together long enough to hold back the great dark? Or will they fall to the void?

Stuff I'm in

Wolves of Redlake: A lovely little romp as a teenage werewolf. Run by the lovely @Nallore
Various 1x1's: I love the flexibility of a two person story. Group RPs will always have my heart, but they can be difficult to get off the ground. Feel free to PM me with any ideas you may have. I generally post once per week minimum and like high-casual to advanced as far as quality is concerned.

The Rest!

Hi! I'm a twenty five year old lesbian with alot of time on her hands! I've been role playing for about ten years now, although I'm new to the play by post format. I'm a pathfinder and Chronicles of Darkness veteran and still play with my group most weekends.

I'm generally pretty easy to get along with. My biggest pet peeves are:

Not informing me if you'll be away for an extended period of time. A PM or something in the OOC will do nicely. I understand life kicks all of us once in awhile, but try not to leave me hanging.

Negative people. We all get down, and that's fine. Happiness, however, is an outlook. I don't mind spending time cheering up a friend when they're usually a cheerful person. Optimism is a hell of a thing folks.

Metagaming. For obvious reasons. This has been the downfall of many a fun 'secret' plot. I usually opt for transparency, and like to surprise characters more than players. Metagaming makes that difficult.

Things I'll love you for:

Enthusiasm! This is the driving force behind any RP. When players and the GM are excited magical things can happen.

Adding to the world. I like a fleshed out world. Often times I'll leave things ambiguous so players can add to it with backstory or anything really.

Hatching your own subplot. The 'main' plot isn't the only thing going on right? Write me a story about some characters getting into hijinks. It gives the RP an organic feel that can't really be replicated otherwise.

Would people mind posting the times they'll usually be on here? I'd like to get an idea of 'peak time' so to speak. I'm generally here around six p.m. cst, but my schedule is rediculously flexible.
Alyssa shook the offered hand smiling. "It would seem so. I'm Alyssa, and I was just telling Malkai here that I have the honor of acting as this little band's resident scout and trap removal service." She waved her hand and made a small flash of fire. "Oh and bearer of swift and fiery death." She giggled evidently pleased with herself.

She eyed Malkai skeptically. "And Malkai here was just telling me he wasn't voted 'most likely to kiss ass' in school, or rather that he has an even cooler superpower than being huge." She made a show of stroking her chin. "Did you build a better goblin trap?"
Alyssa turned to the sound of heavy footsteps. Turning she saw a very large slab of man. She looked over his attire, he certainly had a "barbarian" vibe to his ensemble, but the tats didn't quite fit. Too elegent for most of the tribes she'd heard of or met with, but she was hardly an expert, maybe he was from a wandering tribe of artists? More interesting than that was the bird perched on his head, yes a bird, in a tavern, on the head of a very large man.

This would be interesting, and besides adventures were much more fun with large slabs of men standing between her and bad stuff. She cast a sidelong glance at the elf, as pretty as she was it wasn't likely elfy here would offer much in the way of protection in whatever crypt or tomb or whatever they intended to send her into.

She extended a hand toward the man. "Name's Alyssa, you coming along on this little jaunt? We could sure use you."
I'm fine with fluff, or whatever works. I'm just easy to please I guess =)
Alyssa sighed as she wandered through the new city she found herself in. Sure Saphire was big enough, but maybe a little too big. The city watch sure did their job, which had led to more than a few close calls. So she found herself with the need to lay low for awhile, unfortunately her money was dwindling and her little shop wasn't seeing much buisness tuck away as it was admidst the grandeur of some of the larger establishments.

So she figured she'd hit the local tavern and drink her problems away. Stepping into the tavern she pulled her hood down and looked around. It was bustling as usual, the air was filled with the scent of the sand and spilt alcohol, she kept an eye open for anyone interesting, no need to go home alone tonight after all.

She spotted the flyer from the Mage's Guild. She'd done some work for them in the past, and to say they paid handsomely would be an understatement. She turned her gaze toward the table where she was to meet the recruiter and spied a tall slender elf talking with and old man. She eyed the woman up and down as she approached.

"I might kill two birds with one stone here." she thought to herself grinning.

Name: Alyssa "Red Fox"

Appearance: Alyssa, standing at five and a half feet with a lithe figure, has long bright red hair most often pulled into a ponytail and a youthful face. Her forearms bear tattoos of coiling dragons. She favors clothing and gear that is multipurposed and non-restrictive, as in the picture above it serves to conceal her identity, provide light armor, is revealing enough to seduce whoever needs seducing, and is flashy enough to satisfy her sense of flair.

Her favored weapons are spells delivered from stealth. She carries a crossbow and a quiver of bolts enchanted by her personally that serves to fill the gap when her magical resources are running low or simply aren't needed.

Age: 21

Race: Human

Class: Arcane trickster

Biography: Alyssa was born a slave and as such has no last name, nor does she want one. She a liar and a theif, with a soft spot for people who are down and out that has occasionally led to 'robin hood' like antics. Having the magical talent to deal with a large array of challenges, and a broad understanding of the social and 'subtle' skills makes Alyssa self reliant to a fault, she rarely likes to admit to needing help. She has a sense of honor for a thief, never steal from your allies, don't leave the trap armed for the paladin no matter how funny you think it'll be, and never take someones last coin.
More recently she can be found at the small shop she's set up selling the bounty of her previous work, which includes several robberies of the rich and a couple of dangerous expeditions into tombs and the like.
Alexandra Winters

Age: 16

Level: 2

Personality: Alexandra is a popular girl, and she's used to it. Even before her powers manifested she had a talent for inspiring loyalty in the people around her, sometimes even bordering on fanaticism. It all comes down to two principles: Always seem interested, to be honest, most of the time going through the motions of all the banal platitudes required to maintain "healthy friendships" is almost more than she can bear. She secretly craves someone that doesn't bore her. The second is: Someone is always on the outside, the unfortunate truth of the world is that social groups benefit from "outsiders", they serve as someone to hate, be that the nerds, goths, freaks, or geeks ultimately doesn't matter, but someone is getting hurt. Alexandra aims to ensure that person is never her.

Biography: Alexandra is an only child. Her mother is a revered Japanese psychologist, and her father is an acclaimed American pharmeceutical researcher. She comes from wealth and never wants for anything, perfect life right? Not really, the truth is her mother is a stern and domineering woman, and her father a good and unambitious man beaten into greatness by his wife. Alexandra sees her father as a mewling coward for putting up with her mother's abuse, and that has colored her view of the world. There's the strong, and there's the weak. Pick a side girlie.

Power: Alexandra can see and influence the social attachments and emotions of the people around her. From binding you to her will to ensuring two people fall in love she navigates the labrynthine darkness within the hearts of her peers with horrific ease. Mostly she uses these powers to remain on top of the social totem pole, but the truth is she has no idea how much control she might have, and she's afraid to find out. Most of Alexandra's attempts to use her power on people she actually cares about have resulted in unexpected results at best, tragedies at worst, she's not sure whether or not it's just nerves or some inherent property of her ability, but she's not eager to experiment further.

Prodigy: Alexandra is in full control of her powers most of the time, and should be progressing faster than she is. The problem is she fears her power.

Grades: A's for the most part. One of the benefits of popularity is easy access to other peoples notes and being able to put study groups together easily.

During what situation did your power first occur?: Alexandra's parents were getting a divorce. The fighting in the house had reached an all time high, her father was finally fed up with her mother's shit and was leaving. As he stood screaming in the doorway out of the house, with his luggage at his feet, Alexandra saw something, a black string coiled around his heart. Her eyes followed the string to were it ended, coiled around her mother's. This black poisonous thing was their love, and it was fraying. Reaching out with...something, she fed it power, reinforced it, made it stronger. It was still black, but now it was too strong for them to escape.

Looking forward to this!
I'm interested in playing a "shaman/witch" type. I'd like to explore mankind's relationship with spirits.
