How exactly are you guys dealing with posting order?
It's worth noting Fury has yet to seek out or even deem to fight anyone (I) he decided wasn't worth his time or on par with his strength.

Also, I've explicitly stated he never enters his high tier form in an intermediate fight. (the only time he's done it in an actual fight was -after- an opponent made the transition to high tier.)

Finally, Fury's energy abilities are pretty limited when you actually look at them in comparison to say, the Ice Powers of that ice guy. He also has no weapons on top of this, and without shielding (which I've also explicitly stated only really works effectively at stopping ranged attacks and only then for a short time.) his durability is fairly standard for an intermediate tier, certainly less durable than the Clockwork Man as an example.

Nevermind though, I don't think it's necessary to justify my characters because they seem overpowered on paper, obviously Skallagrim recognized that Fury is more than beatable or he wouldn't have let him in. Hell, you should mostly be thankful Fury's here, he provides a target for every good guy to immediately attack while keeping their conscience clear apparently.
It's a gift.

Although I wish Fury had all those powers he apparently has, it would make him even better suited for the only reason he exists.

Khold was a zombie before. It didnt come up before because he didn't get hit by anything. I was planning on having him notice some structural damage next turn.I just don't like having my characters show everything they can do all at once. There's a revised sheet up with way more detailed information in it.

It does make me feel like I have wasted my time planning and creating all these damn plots. But that's just the Dm inside me.

Probably. It's like us watching two (or was it three?) previous incarnations of the multiverse die because of these exact same reasons doesn't even matter. we can't possibly know what the hell we're talking about.

It's getting rather depressing really.

Bah, come back when Drag competently changes the tier of his character mid fight.

Do you ever wonder what people would do if they actually had to think about their motives rather than us having to provide ones for them?

Fury: Caused no damage due to Kanitah warning Khold. Biddz's character had no in character knowledge of Fury's presence, he would have taken that hit unless he metagamed.Drag: Showed up in the middle of an ongoing fight, I'll admit that yeah. But that's his choice. Plus he had a good reason too. You ran from him. Noteworthy: Fights aren't limited to one person fighting one person. Just saying. Also Noteworthy: Kanitah and Fury weren't exactly fighting.Fury: Changed instantly to high tier with "drawbacks" despite your instantaneous healing shortly afterwards. Mind you, from Mooks. Zero tiers. Absorbing energy from Mooks in mass number healed you sufficiently to be back up to full power in one turn.Drag: His movement speed has decreased, but I'm reading over his sheet and his punching speed doesn't slow down. In fact it gets faster.Fury: Took damage, but still didn't go flying. Which is supposed to happen to Drag, despite his weight. The broken ribs were solved about 5 turns later with an army of Mooks becoming snack food.Drag: Yeah, the taking no damage bit was a bit odd. I'll admit, I'll talk to him about it. But it's also stated in his sheet that he can power through pain, so immediate retaliation isn't out of the question. But expecting him to be sent flying despite previous attacks not sending you flying is funny. There's no reason for you to be this big of an ass towards Drag. The dude just wants to roleplay as well, and despite doing the exact same fucking thing you did except more politely, you're bitching at him.

I'm not going to keep arguing with you, but don't think for a second it's because I don't have any response, or do, I don't actually care. I can only assume you're trolling at this point though, as you're reiterating points I've actually already answered as if they still support your argument.

And my problem with Drag is pretty simple, he's not adhering to the actual point of the multiverse, which is to weave complex narratives around fighting. Instead he's literally just fighting because he can, and swapping his character's personality around wildly in order to do whatever the fuck he wants. I don't particularly enjoy RPing with people like that, and I shouldn't have to if I don't want to, hence why I tried to launch his character away so I could just fucking leave.

Though I suppose it makes it awfully easy for all the so-called heroes to just launch immediately into attacking the first 'bad' guy they see, good story telling and whatnot.

Yet he's the same person you gave you back your melon.

By giving me back the Melon he restored a part of the old me, that wasn't necessarily a good thing.

Really? Reminds me more of an Asuras thing.

Asuras would actually have it as an avatar picture, Guru would force you to have it to destroy your image as an undead overlord.
