Your character reacted to bullets bouncing off your shield, it says so in your post, that gave him plenty of time to flee your attack. You didn't have the information required to infer what my character was doing, I only said he immediately dropped low and prepared to relocate on completing pulling the trigger, he didn't even wait to see the effect of his attack, I didn't state he would be slowly back-pedalling away for the next five seconds.

Regardless, Jok running away from an A.O.E attack is far less bullshit than your character's instant ability to spot -bullets- (with no muzzle flare) and launch a pinpoint attack, but you don't see me complaining. Call in Innue if you have a problem with it, I'm not arguing with you.
1st post.
Couple of significant points, one its customary in most fights for each person to introduce their own character, though you can definitely set the scene its best not to set anything in stone for your opponent, in the fashion that you removed Brennus’ shield, etc.
If we’d agreed beforehand that we were fighting with wooden swords, then the only additional thing I would recommend was stating if they weren’t average sized longswords, as the size difference counted against you later on.
In a more standard arena fight the introduction post should usually include – your character’s full list of attire, equipment and weaponry. Anything you don’t mention in your intro post is technically not allowed to be used, regardless of if it’s in your sheet (save for magical powers and the like, this tends to only apply to physical items.)

2nd post
You said ‘his sword, in his right hand’ this led to the later misunderstanding that he was wielding it one handed, have to be careful to specify how you hold your weapons, etc.

3rd post
Forgot to specify how and with what hand your character attempted to grapple, nor your target (unless sword hand always means dominant hand, but I’d still say that is a little obscure and can be misconstrued.) If I wanted to, I could specify for you in my next post, having you commit to a grapple with your right hand for example (which you probably would considering the situation) which would weaken your block (the most important aspect of your defence.)

Other than that, all cool. I think your counter would probably have worked if my character had over-stretched himself a little bit further. In future you may want to specify you’re looking for sword duels, as your character will be at a major disadvantage fighting Brennus with his full equipment for example.

Hope this helps, have fun in the Arena.
Just imagining Skallagrim (the character) in a post match interview.
Yeah no problem, if you want any advice (from an Arena perspective, I doubt I could lecture you in sword play) I'll be happy to do a run through and point out details etc you should probably add in future for clarity.
Honestly have no idea if that would work, but it's what I've wanted to do since starting grappling, for the power of story telling!
Fury couldn’t help but cheat a little.

Kanitah finally committed to the roll he probably should have enacted before he lost a large chunk of his energy, and the moment he tried it Fury was ready. He momentarily released his hold around Kanitah’s neck, allowing his right arm to drag rather than grip, which when coupled with a move no ordinary human could pull off, using energy to suspend his upper body a short distance up into the air, gave Kanitah the freedom he wished to roll over. Fury also hoped to entangle his legs from Kanitah’s as he did this, though Kanitah may react quickly enough to try and clamp him down, he was at the disadvantage as Fury legs were on the inside of his own.

When Kanitah rolled he would find Fury’s arm was still loosely around his neck, and by tracking which direction he was rolling in Fury could easily adjust his flight to match his roll, waiting for that crucial moment when Kanitah inevitably turned his back on Fury. When he did that, the arm would suddenly grip with all Fury’s might as he released his low flight, falling down on the back of Kanitah with his arm hopefully conveniently already around his neck, in what should be an all too familiar situation to Kanitah, Fury’s left arm would position itself behind Kanitah’s head and the right hand would grip the bicep.

The rear blood choke was a favourite of Fury’s.
I think I'm pretty much caught up with everything, give me the benefit of the doubt if there are any glaring errors that make no sense and let me know so I have a chance to edit if you would, I'm tired and ill unfortunately.
Your post is missing a lot of details, it also makes very little sense considering your characters physical qualities.

1. He's falling straight down vertically to my understanding, head first, with one second before impact and moving at a fairly high speed, spotting my character moving and moving the javelin from extended like a lance to pulled back and then thrown would be difficult considering your character's body position, he would also have to significantly change his grip on his weapon, unless he's falling in a different fashion to what I inferred.

2. How he touched down is also incredibly confusing, did he fall on his hands or did he twist in mid-air to land on his feet?

3. Also, is he using any sort of magical ability to hit the very specific point of the moving mech he is aiming for? That seems like a difficult shot considering his circumstances.

Actually, I've had another re-read and the problem is in how you described your fall, you didn't really explain how his attack was being launched other than it being a downwards lunge (I assume you mean thrust, lunge is something very different.) If it is a thrust then it would mean your character was falling face down, where-as if he's trying to carry out some sort of falling stab manoeuvre (which would certainly be less insane) then you may need to edit a little to make that clear. It would still be difficult to transition from that position to a javelin throw though.

Also, if you significantly refute my claims, feel free to call in Rilla to decide what he thinks, might as well make him judge and shit.
My first fight was probably one of my most memorable, my opponent ran at my character with the intent of thrusting his sword through him and killing him, to which I had my character (a powerful fire manipulator) allow the sword to pierce his body in a less vital spot, and took the swordsman by surprise by placing a hand on his face, setting him alight.
Fury resisted Kanitah’s movements in two areas, he had his arm wrapped around the back of Kanitah’s neck and held them together closely by holding on with all his strength. In the leg department he couldn’t do much other than directly contest Kanitah attempting to force his legs closer together, but Fury had the hook in and his legs were already stretched open, so he had the advantage somewhat of resisting Kanitah’s move as opposed to trying to enact one like Kanitah was trying. Kanitah was able to make some head-way as their weight shifted somewhat, but Fury held tight and resisted him every step of the way, and now the energy drain was taking effect. Fury had been in contact with Kanitah for a little over five seconds, which in a fight was no small amount of time. With the supremely deadly effect taking hold over time, Kanitah would now feel as is a little over a fifth of his total energy had been drained from him, which was indeed the case.

Comparatively, Fury was growing ever stronger, the drain feeding his strength and giving him greater ability to resist in the ensuing battle of strength and wits.
