Dialect is accent, slang is informality but its also based off locality, both of which lead someone to believe a character has an accent from that place. If you say cockney you may refer to rhyming slang, or you may refer to a common accent from London, both would lead to the confusion.
Whoa, whoa, cockney would be way to strong. Iron Kingdoms slang has some similar words to British slang, but using some of the same words is not the same thing as sounding the same.
That's what you said earlier, so that's your mistake.
I should probably point out My character does not have a British accent. Mostly because I find a black guy with a British accent disconcerting for some reason.
Like giving a giant the voice of a small girl.

Bit of a u-turn there, you said he had a cockney accent before.
If you know about Guilty Gear, you'll know Sol destoyed a giant Gear larger than mountains using a fraction of his power. This character is stronger with magic than Sol. Also, the short sword is steel, forgot to mention the other is Inconel, prized for heat and pressure resistance, required for generating massive amounts of Mana.
It's up to you like I said, but it seems like your character is a power-house on planetary terms, where-as Kaelin could conceivably destroy an entire planet.
Also, are you sure your character is really a match? I'm looking at some things that set him far below Kaelin, for example his ordinary steel Katana, which would quite literally shatter into a hundred pieces the moment it got within five feet of Kaelin. I'm assuming you're going to be using the character in his all out form so he (I'm assuming a lot here) is able to use all magic types? He might have a decent chance against someone who could drop the energy of a sun on top of him with that flexibility, I suppose. Though a wave of Kaelin's hand is comparable to having a nuke dropped on your face.
If you misjudged how strong Kaelin was (I chose him when I was unaware what character you were using, based off the title of the intro post) I have other characters which are strong but with more weaknesses and set limits than Kaelin.
Sounds perfect. I'm looking for the kinds of characters you'd need a few thousand vacant square kilometers to fight properly, and I am accepting more than one challenger. I'm looking forward to a few good fights. Edit: As for rules, we can decide those together or I can throw up a nice ruleset.

Name: Kaelin Race: The Ascended Pre-Ascension Gender: Male Age: 3426 (Earth Years) Height: 6ft 5” (considering normal hovering height) Weight: 200kg
Appearance: Kaelin could most easily be described as a large sculpture of a legless man with four arms. His body is made of a polished reddish-brown rock; his face is strangely angular and lacks a nose, with a slit for a mouth and small beady eyes. He has a block resembling a medium sized human beard which has been carefully detailed to resemble hair. Although the body is perfect and unblemished any details considered aesthetically pleasing are incredibly beautifully wrought. His body is noticeably muscular, as an addition to this ‘perfect’ visage. The body has been carved naked save for a sculpted loin-cloth around the waist. Due to the lack of legs, Kaelin hovers above the ground by about three feet.
History of the Ascended: In the Universe of the Ascended they are supreme beings, likened to gods by those who have grown aware of their presence. Contained within this universe was the world of Antire and the Fireen, and like all worlds in this universe there is one common ability among its people, a form of energy manipulation named Antireen control by the Fireen. When one becomes so adept with this ability that they grow a conscious understanding of the ebb and flow of all energy around them, they become Ascended. Discarding their mortal bodies and all its trappings they become creatures of pure energy held together by their will alone, and in doing so intrinsically link themselves to solar-system levels of power. The complete control over the forces of energy provide individuals with control over life itself and all its constructs, as one knows that in all things energy creates… and destroys.
This fascination with creation and destruction, the natural process of renewal as it will, makes the Ascended builders and destroyers in equal measure. It is also this hubris which sets them in contention with the Dreamer race, who catalogue and preserve, to their minds halting progress. The Ascended have carefully avoided full-scale war since first contact with the Dreamers, for no other reason than that the Ascended are very few in number, with a new individual joining their ranks incredibly rarely.
Kaelin, known as the Sculptor for the majesty of his crafts, was always a prideful being. Such could be seen in his decision to re-don the trappings of a mortal body, of a sorts, one he created himself to be perfect to his eye. When the Dreamer race had the audacity to trespass upon one of his flawed creations, taking something he had intended to destroy and preserving it forever, he marked them as his mortal enemies. It was to this end that he created his most deadly force of change, the Void.

With the Void trapped in a mortal body its powers were weakened severely and Kaelin was shamed by his failures. However, the Fireen seems driven enough by its power that he may just strike down a Dreamer or two, and to Kaelin that would be more than enough.
Abilities: Energy Mastery
Kaelin is intrinsically linked with the ebb and flow of energy in all its forms in a solar-system wide region. This provides him with a vast degree of power to work with, though it is limited in terms of interfering with the energy manipulation of others. Due to the unique nature of energy converted into mana and other personal forms of power it is rarely if ever worth the effort of contesting control with someone. Kaelin instead tends to use his abilities to mitigate the effects of a user’s ability, or to create his own devastating effects with what ‘free’ energy he has at his disposal.
Kaelin can carry out almost any physical act, due to the abundance of energy he can convert into a kinetic form at will. He may also create a wide variety of materials, substances and even beings, using energy alone as a foundation. The only limitation to his abilities tends to be the time it takes to carry them through, and that his energy supply is not limitless, nor his ability to utilize it.
He fights utilizing the energy contained within a solar system, so he isn't quite a god but in human terms he's far beyond anything we could imagine, with the energy contained within a sun at his disposal for example.
