You'd think we could at least wait to see the character before accusing it of being too powerful... Geez. Taking notes from past experiences, however, that's all I'm going to say on the matter. But back to business. Any consensus on the strength level issue yet? My reasoning in bringing it up was not to be able to make a character that can simply crush all other characters, it was to enable strength-based characters to actually play ball with the other high-tiers and stand a chance of pulling out a win. As things are, a character with maxed out strength can have their strength matched by characters who have half a dozen other powerful abilities besides. That just doesn't sit right. If a character has all their focus on one thing, they should be able to be better at that thing than any other character who isn't completely focused on it. At least in the confines of a combat RP setting. For instance, a man who has dedicated his entire life to learning how to shoot (to the exclusion of all other forms of combat) should be able to shoot better than a man who has split his time between learning how to shoot and learning how to fight with martial arts.Note: I did not actually mean "we", and I am fully aware there were only two persons jumping to conclusions about the character.

This is something Skallagrim told me a long time ago, and frankly I agree with it. It honestly -does not matter- how awesomely trained your character is in any skill, because in the end, you have to post your actions and if you're not skilled, your character will be just as bad. The only time this really matters is in terms of pure speed or action, how quickly your character could 'aim' for example, but if your smart enough to post before that your character unhooked their weapon holster for example, then you have an inherent advantage anyway.
Also Khan, there's a certain wizard you're neglecting.

It's of funny to think that last Omniverses banned guns, and when they did allow them they could not pierce the skin. XD

Hmm, that's because it was a more fantasy orientated Omniverse, I prefer it personally. Swords and sorcery is a lot more interesting than 'I pull the trigger of my Uzi lolololol.'

Frankly, it seems like people interested in those sorts of weapons are only interested in winning, but each to their own.
Sigh, this is when the multiverse sucks.

When everyone lose sight of what is actually important and starts arguing semantics because they want their characters to be better than everyone else's.

I wish high tier wasn't even playable in this RP, it's terrible in a diverse multiverse setting anyway.
Khan, feel free to post next responding to Arty.

It's called plot convenience.

Hey, spider-man has no armor. :PJust realized we also shouldn't understand each other...

The Dreamers are overcoming that relatively large obstacle.
They do, I remember a giant chicken eating half of my adventuring party once because of drop-outs.

And if no changes are made, no brawn-based high tier is ever going to win a fight against another high-tier. I mean, look at Fury. Not only can he lift the max allowed, but he can get even more powerful by absorbing the energy of his enemies. Green's mech could just step on them. Beta's armor spell could duke it out toe to toe, and even without it she can do half a hundred other nasty things to them before they even get in range. How many active high tier characters are there right now? And how many would actually need adjusting if brawn-based characters are brought up to their level?

Honestly, I think you're right that some exceptions should be made to push the strength boundaries up to maybe 500-1000 tonnes maximum (the reason for this is simple, no character lower than intermediate could realistically survive even a slap at this strength if everyone went all-out, which you guys would, because you're not like General Freedom or Superman), but a limitation on this should be thus.

In the case of Fury: His actual physical strength (that which he can sustain at a relatively normal rate) is only 10 tonnes, to push it to 100 tonnes he's using vast quantities of energy (because biologically it would be goddamn impossible) and that comes with its own limitations.

Or, in the case of the giant mech, or even Khan's turtle, they're incredibly big and incredibly slow, making them easier to hit or easier to outrun.

So if you want strength over one of these boundaries you can only have two of three traits.
