Don't sweat it; Khan'll only fight someone if they're using a melee weapon. Go beyond the standard Arena nonsense and you're bound to be shunned by the so-called 'vets'.

Ooh, so bitter baby.

Emphasis on baby, baby.
“This was a lot easier than I expected.” The Clockwork Man mused, taking a few steps past Arty and then carrying on to the Mystan, even as suddenly the tower shook with a vibration of significant scale. The Clockwork Man leapt forward with incredible and unexpected speed, seizing the Mystan with his left arm and pushing him back to his feet. He kept his pistol trained in the direction of the trio.

“Angar-Rylla…” The Clockwork Man exclaimed, turning back to look at Arty. “Empire with some unscrupulous practices and questionable motives.” He told his companion quickly, summing up his opinions on them with a few words. “It would seem these lot are against them.” He added pointlessly, looking at the Mystan and his companion quickly, his mind a whir with thought and calculations.

“The Mystan won’t survive if we try and take him back to the ship in the middle of a battle.” He summarised finally. “It would seem for a brief while we have a common cause.” The Clockwork Man added, nodding towards the trio.

“What can I do to help?” The Clockwork Man asked pragmatically of them, not assuming to ask for Arty who was still very much his own man. The Clockwork Man assumed retreat or evacuation wasn’t an option right now, his Technomagic was telling him something very important was in this room, and it wasn’t the sort that could be picked up and ran away with. He prepared himself for a fight.
Also, Drag has one more day before I crush him character into the ground and move on in this fight, presumably I have another opponent on the way and I don't have time to piss about with those kind of odds against me.

He wouldn't be a Melon character if he didn't cover all his bases.

Interesting coming from you, boy!

Besides which, Skallagrim has seen how I play Fury, so he knows he can trust me to play his mental limitations more accurately than most people who just say 'lol my character's mad' and then makes them a military genius.

Then how the hell does he ever get hurt?

He doesn't drain -all- of something's energy instantly. He only drains a small percentage of things he's actually -touching- things in the general environment are drained at a snails pace.

Then age should also be an ability! :D*badum-tsh*

Counter to age argument, I could train to be sneaky all my life, but a 6ft 4" Englishman is never going to be as stealthy as a 5ft lightweight.

Would I be correct in assuming that Fury can't absorb kinetic energy?

He can absorb energy in all it's forms.

Well, except for Khan's special energy he likes to use, though I still argue it -has- to transfer into kinetic energy or his undead wouldn't be able to move.

This is true. Which is why I used "should be" instead of "are" or "is". Barring writer limitations, a focused character should have the capability to surpass an unfocused character in their skill/trait/ability of focus. LeeRoy said essentially the same thing in his review of Bushido's character.

Perhaps, but then you get into annoying debates about how long-lived characters would have an inherent advantage, and frankly despite what people may have told you, we're not all born equal. Frankly, there's no logical reason why a being who can live to three hundred couldn't have devoted 100 years to swordsmanship and then gunmanship, and yet be worse than a soldier who's devoted twenty years to just gunmanship.

You know I have been watching this closely for when Fury would get gang banged, took longer then I thought.

You know Fury's been going easy on them.

Until now.

It's almost like you know that I enjoy a good debate.

I could appreciate this if what I just read was a debate.

All I saw was a swathe of your annoying Gifs, which have no place here.
