Also, since I have my character as a relatively poor person, I was going to have him as the on hand medical staff. That sound good to everyone?
@Xandrya Thanks! I didn't wanna go with something everyone else had used, or something really bland. I wanted it to be something that he needs to have just the right amount of, or its game over.
@Rawk Yeah, he's probably gonna have massive amounts of brain damage. I was going for that a higher voltage means he runs faster, but he can't, well, handle it? As in, he can barely run at 45 mph without running into a wall, so if he goes any faster, he needs absolute concentration or he's dead.

Cost of powers use: To move at higher speeds, Joseph has to inflict a low voltage shock on his body, as this energises his body, and allows him to run faster, however, he has very little experience with his powers, and is susceptible to running into objects/tripping at high speeds.

Personality: He's a fun loving person and a thrill seeker. He's a sucker for anything high octane, but, he is also deeply invested in safety. This trait is what led him to become a paramedic, as he wanted to be like the people who saved his Mother's life.
History: Joseph was born in Buckhead to loving parents, his father a mechanic and his mother worked in the diner next to their apartment. Joseph and his Dad both shared a love of motorcycles, in fact, his Dad loved it so much, that he even bought his own.
2 years later, on the way home from work, his Dad was hit by an oncoming bus. He was killed instantly. Without the income from his Dad's job, Joseph and his mother were forced to move in with his Grandparents. It was because of this crash and a violent attack on his Mother's workplace, that Joseph to be like the people who tried to save, and saved both of his parents.
(So that's what I have, any pointers or dislikes? Please, any criticism is welcome! Or do you think it's gonna be accepted?)
