I can't believe I've stuck myself with three girls for all of next year who think screaming, shrieking and making sex noises consists of banter. -_-

Bio

Howdy all! I figured it was about time I spruced up my bio section. Or, y'know. Wrote something in it other than WIP.

So! Things to know about my mostly-good self:

I'm a 20 year old female, hailing from a not-so-small town in the north east of England. I'm currently about a third through my second year at Uni, and have made some awesome friends there so far. I also debate. That's always fun - arguing has always been an annoying trait (for others, that is) of mine, so putting it into something one can have on their CV is great. The competitions are super fun too. Anyway, roleplaying.

If you've known me for a short or long while, you'll likely know what an absolute slut for fantasy I am. High fantasy to low, I love those kind of roleplays and will nearly always be interested in new ones that crop up. The same applies for Sci-Fi, but at the moment, I'm not feeling inspiration for a good ol' spacefaring RP. Gotta get the Mass Effect out again, get me craving some Turian booty again. However, I won't go for only these ones. SoL can interest me if they're run properly, alongside horror, mystery, romance, etc. I won't ignore something simply because it doesn't have magic or flying bears in it or something. As for level, I like to consider my writing high-casual to low-advanced. Hopefully others will agree with me on that one, haha. Anyway, here's a list of specific fandoms I enjoy, kind of in order of preference:

  • Lord of the Rings Universe (Including The Hobbit)
  • Dragon Age series
  • Elder Scrolls
  • Mass Effect Trilogy
  • Star Trek (I'd love a Discovery one right now!)
  • Star Wars (Specifically the time around the Prequels; while I shan't get into the whole Prequel/Original war on which is better, roleplaying makes for more excitement in the prequel era. Clone Wars guys, c'mon!)
  • Buffy the Vampire Slayer
  • Fringe
  • Greek Mythology (PJO, but with the amount of Camp Half-Blood roleplays that have come and gone, I'd prefer one based more on the Original Mythologies)
  • Norse Mythology
  • Marvel
  • Left 4 Dead
  • The Walking Dead (Or any Post-Apocalypse Roleplay, really.)
  • 'A Song of Ice and Fire' Series
  • House of Night Series
  • True Blood
  • Deus Ex
  • Blood Ties
  • The Vampire Diaries (I admittedly abandoned the show and books when the plot got too boring, but I still like the Universe. I'd join a roleplay based in it, if it had original characters, that is.)
  • Pacific Rim

Aaannndd I'll stop the list here before I go on forever. Basically there's a lot, particularly in the realm of fantasy. Hit me up if you want me in your roleplay, of if you'd like to do a 1x1 based around any of those areas, or even some additional ones if you think I'd be interested. I love original plots and Universes too, especially if they're done well.

"You're going to love Hogwarts, Rozie." Leo said Rozalia, glancing at her from behind his shoulder - she had insisted on one last piggy-back ride off him before she left on the train. He was feeling lucky - the Auror's office had been reluctant to let him go for a half-day, but there was no way in Hell he was going to miss seeing her off onto the train. Besides, he wanted to see the old platform again, and to see if there were any of his friends hanging around seeing off their younger brother's and sisters. "It sounds amazing! I can't wait to see the Library! Ooh, and the Great Hall! Oh, and the ghosts! I bet they're way more friendly than they're shown on horror movies." Roze laughed as she went on talking about this, her previously brown hair shining gold with her excitement. Her father - walking alongside her and Leo - quickly took of his hat and hurriedly pulled it down over her shining curls, glancing around. They were just entering the station, with Roze's Dad pushing the luggage trolley; on it lay two large trunks, a smaller knapsack, and a wicker basket where her cat Sora was sleeping - and they were still surrounded by Muggles. "Ah... nostalgia." Roze's father grinned as he looked at the very familiar ticket barrier. A child and his mother had just passed through it, unbeknownst to the surrounding Muggles. "Remember when me and your mum took you here for the first time? You looked fit to burst; either from excitement or tears, I still don't know." He said with a sly grin at his son, who nudged him playfully. They were soon through the barrier and among the hustle and bustle of the various children and frantic parents, some fussing, some bored, some screaming after toddlers that had somehow snuck onto the train. Rozalia was now on the ground, staying close to her brother and father as they pushed towards the train. It was a magnificent scarlet, with steam already billowing out of the funnel at the front and the steam pistons gleaming. She gazed in awe at it, and then saw the various students already sat in the compartments. "Will you stay until it pulls out of the station?" She asked, looking up at Leo and her Dad, removing her hat and letting her magically-changing hair fall free. "Like you have to ask. C'mon kiddo, let's get you on there. I don't want it going without you." Her Dad said, ushering her forward and passing her trunks over to one of the porters. With her knapsack slung over her back and Sora's basket in her arms - he had mewled most grumpily when she awoke him - Rozalia took another look at the train, then back to Leo and her Dad. Her hair suddenly took on a blue tinge as a pang of homesickness hit her. She hated to leave them, she really did. But she knew that her brother would be heading back to the Auror's office soon, and her Dad was set to ship out to the Middle East tomorrow. "I'll write to you every day, okay?" She promised, firmly and silently telling herself not to cry. Honestly - she wasn't a baby. Her Dad chuckled and knelt so he could pull her into a hug. "I won't hold you to that. Besides, I don't think my bunk mates would enjoy coping with an owl every day. Every week, yeah? Then I can write back some decent replies other than a report on sand storms and sunburn." "I'll be impressed if you manage to write us both every day, Rozie," Leo began, ruffling her curls as he always did, a bright grin on his face as the blueness receded from her blonde hair. ", the workload catches up with ya. Trust me." "Pft. Like you know about work." She retorted teasingly with a grin. Her goodbye's were swift, but heartfelt, and she was soon wandering down the train to find a compartment. She was hoping to find an empty one, or at the very least one that didn't have any second years or above within it. After a fruitless search of an empty compartment, she halted outside one containing two boys, and a girl. Sliding open the compartment door (Quite a feat while juggling a heavy bag and an angry kitten), she smiled at them all and glanced at one of the spare seats. "Hey! Have you got room for one more?" She asked with a sweet smile, aimed at them all. One of the boys was blond and quite tall, the other smaller, although with dark hair and eyes - the eyes had a familiar mischievous twinkle in them. And they both seemed to be giving the girl in the carriage strange looks - fair to say, the girl did draw the eye. Although not unattractive, she certainly looked a bit strange.
Name: Rozalia Éathliel Nickname(s): Roze (Used more commonly by friends), Rozie, Roza. Gender: F Age: 11 House: Ravenclaw Appearance: Try ignoring her hair and eye colour, as it changes quite often. Depending on her mood, they'll change colours, which is fairly unavoidable. More often than not, she'll have blonde hair, as she has a naturally happy disposition, and her eyes will be a warm amber colour. Blue is sad, black is pain, red is anger... you get the idea. Other than that, she stands at a short height, with just the slightest beginning of curves along her slim body. With a pale, heart-shaped face (Although when very happy, her skin will often warm up to a healthy tan) and a sweet, dimpled grin, she often looks a few years younger than her actual age.
Wand: 12 1/2 Inch wand, made of a springy and intricately patterned Apple wand, and a Phoenix feather core. Pet: A black kitten called Sora - unknown breed. Strengths: Whether it's because she is a form of Metamorphagi or not, Roze's Transfiguration abilities are astounding for her age - on top of all the extra research she's been doing, she's already practicing to be an Animagus, and is curious as to what form she'll take once she manages it. She also has an uncanny ability of picking up new languages, whether it be Tolkien's Elvish (Which she adores) Or Gobbledegook. Also a surprisingly good singing voice, although is very shy about it. On top of this, she's been trained in hand-to-hand combat from a fairly young age. Although far from being an expert, she knows enough to stop an older kid in his or her tracks. That's what you get from coming from a slightly paranoid military family. Weaknesses: Is often easily anxious about things, and isn't uncommon for her to fret over seemingly silly things. Feeling the need to do the best she possible can in every subject - on top of all the extra activities she'll sign herself up for - she gets stressed out from too much work to do. On top of this, she has a certain naive outlook on things - this can lead to her easily walking aimlessly into danger, not considering consequences at the thought of knowledge; her temper hardly helps with that either. Although it takes quite a bit for her to blow, the outcome is far from pretty; not too dissimilar from a volcano. Personality: Because of her introduction to the wizarding world, Roze is still amazed and overwhelmingly curious of all the new things in this world - already adding to her naturally inquisitive nature, this made her crave for more knowledge of her new existence. Suddenly, Muggle knowledge wasn't enough for her. Although her curiosity and wit are her most overwhelming attributes, she has a great deal of bravery within her - and of course, bravery can often go hand in hand with wisdom, for sometimes you need to be brave to acquire knowledge. She has kindness and honesty, and above all, she values friends and those she loves. However, this can be a downside for her. She is big on protecting those she cares about, probably brought on by the loss of her Mother. Because of this, she can be almost obsessive in keeping people safe, not caring if it puts herself in harms way. It also gives her knack for making plenty of enemies. History: Roze has known of the wizard world all of her life, thanks to her Mother's legacy; sadly, her Mam died shortly after Roze's birth during a raid gone badly - she had been an Auror - and her Muggle father was left with 2 half-blood children, and a lot of information he really shouldn't have known. Thankfully, what with being in the Army and all, he was used to being discreet. So, he tried to integrate as much of the Wizarding world into his children's lives as the Muggle world they lived in, but it was hard, considering his wife was dead and he had no real connection left to the wizarding world. Rozalia's elder brother - Leo - is about 10 years older than her, and works as a junior Auror in the Ministry of Magic. He still keeps in touch with her, often joining Roze and their Father on trips back to their family's home country of Italy. NPCs: Antonio "Tony" Éathliel - Rozalia's Muggle Father; a Sergeant in the UK Army, he came to the country at the age of 3 with his immigrant Italian parents. Both have passed away naturally a few years before the birth of his first child, Leo. He regrets this, and also regrets that Roze never got to know her Mother; Megara. Following his wife's murder, he became slightly paranoid, and sure that his wife's work would follow her home one day. Because of this, he made sure to keep Roza and Leo trained in different manners of combat. Although Roze is only 11 years old, she knows quite a bit in hand-to-hand combat, and can work her way around a knife too. In terms of magical combat, she seriously needs to work on it - something Tony worries over a lot. Leo Éathliel - Rozalia's 21-year-old brother; following the death of his Mother, he vowed to knuckle down on his schoolwork and gain enough marks to become an Auror. Although going against his naturally, easy-going and fun-loving nature, he managed to pass all his OWL and NEWT grades, and joined the Auror's department with no trouble. He worries about his Father and sister a lot, but makes sure to keep them safe as much as possible. He works with his Uncle - Mother's older brother - in the Auror's office, still attempting to track down those responsible for his Mother's death. Although five of the murderers were captured, three escaped; and they're on his hit-list. Robert 'Bobby' Thrussell - Megara's older brother, and the Uncle of Leo and Rozalia. An Auror for a good thirty years, Bobby has seen plenty of shit. But, he sticks with the job, just so he can track down the people who killed his sister and a few of his good friends. A genius when it comes to lore on various beasts and whatnot of the Wizarding world, he also likes to spend his time drinking and dealing with the various scumbags that come with the job of Auror. Despite all of this, he's like a second father to Roze and Leo - having babysat them more than a couple of times while their Father was on a tour. He's also an excellent primary resource for when Roze is stuck with her homework.
Ok! Rawlith: Group 1 Varndiir: Group 1(Since the lady asked, but TRULY if anyone wants him to be a in another group, ask and I will ablige.) Third Rpc: May make one.
Oh, it was just a suggestion hon. I just thought that he and Valerion would get on, is all. :)
In fact, if each person could say which group they're going to be in - if you want to make a third group, that's fine - that'd be great, because then I can put it on the main page. And, thanks to the clubs new BB code, we can put posts up in different colours in accordance to which group you're in. Y'know, so you don't get all jumbled up in the barrage of posts.
Also - our bigger group, being group 1, it's very possible that as more members join, it splits up into 2 smaller ones further in. Because I have a feeling personalities will clash in such a large group, so smaller sub ones wouldn't be out of the question. I know that size matters when fighting dragons, but eventually, our characters will develop skills and tactics to take them down with more efficiency; so eventually, numbers won't really be that much of an issue for them, if anyone's concerned about that. To keep up with the building of skills and avoiding the boringness of everyday activities, timeskips will be taking place over periods of weeks, or even months. This is so the story won't get stuck in a rut; however, I'll give an alert when something like happens. And if anyone cares to put summaries of the time passed, I once again bring up journals. Giving some useful exposition and background in the game, it can do the same in the roleplay. Flashbacks are also useful, especially when it comes to character development.
Haha - Roze is not going to appreciate all this in-fighting. She'll be sympathetic to Qa'Skil rather than creeped out, for the most times. She grew up on the streets, so she knows what Skooma does to a person. I also understand your thoughts on the groups that are splitting up; I was having a conversation with Leos about this (Jeez guys, are you psychic?). Basically, this is how I'm seeing the two groups to be shaping up right now: Group 1: Valerion, Dreet-Na, Rozalia, Rawlith-Dar, Qa-Skil, Thorin, Lugdush, Scatha. Groups 2: Nikolaus, Leonidas, Faire, Val, Ildrun, Evos, Narzul. I'm not sure where the other characters would like to go. North, I think your Varnadir would be in group 1. The Vigilants; I don't know if you'd want a group of your own to avoid Valerion, or to join group 1 to keep an eye on him. Faric and Sylvan, I'm not sure about either. Do excuse me if I've missed anyone - y'all are hard to keep track of. :)
I love the first quote in the game, admittedly..It is just Alduins amazing voice-actor and: "Dovah.." Raspy and drawn out. "SAHLOKNIR RISE!" Then you shit your iron armor and watch sadly as a Dragon raises from the ground with an empty stomach and a preference for fried Hero. XD
Nah, this dragon isn't even that refined. He'd quite happily chow down on some raw Nord-ass, not even bothering to dress it or season it. *sigh* And they call us lesser beings. At least we can enjoy food, dammit!
Yeah, it will be him. I was thinking - this is aimed at everyone, by the way - that the group would arrive just as Alduin takes off. I know in the game he sticks around even with the Dragonborn shooting him and whatnot, but I can hardly see Alduin doing that in a realistic situation. Chances are, he'd just kill us all with Sahloknir to get us out of the way.
Haha, don't want cheese. :) Yeah, I was just curious, is all. And a bit more character development would be cool; perhaps the two can share their woes of home and their past, to a certain degree? I also agree with your opinion on a first kiss, if is it happening. Considering the lack of human contact the two have had in the past, something like that wouldn't really come with ease. I can see them Disconnecting and kicking ass in their imaginary worlds instead. XD
On the contrary, I think that'd be a cool idea! I was going to ask too; would your three characters want to journey with Rawlith and Roze? Five seems to be a decent amount for a group.
I don't see why not. ;) Did they leave the rest of Dovahfeyn for some reason? These three(maybe with Adamantium's character Sylvan) would be on the way to Whiterun to get prepared for a trip to find the group, and they would likely be on horseback, but they wouldn't carry a lot of things, which would allow for a fast travelling speed. There is a slight age difference between the two, but it's not significant. Thorin being 7 years older is not too bad, as there tend to be couples 20 or more years apart, both these days and more so in the middle ages because of exclusively arranged marriages. Also, I think it would be quite a long-term relationship, because Thorin and Rozalia have similar temperaments, which would aid for good chemistry. ;)
Yeah, I agree with the similar disposition they share. And they haven't left Dovahfeyn - it's just, once the group kills their first dragon, they're going to split up to go to opposite ends of Skyrim, to at least attempt to stop dragons from rising, or, if they're too late, just to kill the risen dragons. The groups can't be too small, so there'll be three or four groups, perhaps. In terms of moving the plotline along, the Blades will send letters to each group once they get an update on how to kill Alduin. Oh, also - Pirouette and Unknowable, I was wondering if you two would care to be in the same group as Leos and Niko? I'm assuming Val with follow Faire wherever she goes, that is, and Niko will want to try and build a bridge between races - both Falmer and Altmer. Oh, and ajax, I'm not sure which group Ildrun would prefer to go with, but I suppose we can deal with that in a bit. I think Dreet-Na and Valerion will be going off together, so they could use a couple more members.
