I can't believe I've stuck myself with three girls for all of next year who think screaming, shrieking and making sex noises consists of banter. -_-

Bio

Howdy all! I figured it was about time I spruced up my bio section. Or, y'know. Wrote something in it other than WIP.

So! Things to know about my mostly-good self:

I'm a 20 year old female, hailing from a not-so-small town in the north east of England. I'm currently about a third through my second year at Uni, and have made some awesome friends there so far. I also debate. That's always fun - arguing has always been an annoying trait (for others, that is) of mine, so putting it into something one can have on their CV is great. The competitions are super fun too. Anyway, roleplaying.

If you've known me for a short or long while, you'll likely know what an absolute slut for fantasy I am. High fantasy to low, I love those kind of roleplays and will nearly always be interested in new ones that crop up. The same applies for Sci-Fi, but at the moment, I'm not feeling inspiration for a good ol' spacefaring RP. Gotta get the Mass Effect out again, get me craving some Turian booty again. However, I won't go for only these ones. SoL can interest me if they're run properly, alongside horror, mystery, romance, etc. I won't ignore something simply because it doesn't have magic or flying bears in it or something. As for level, I like to consider my writing high-casual to low-advanced. Hopefully others will agree with me on that one, haha. Anyway, here's a list of specific fandoms I enjoy, kind of in order of preference:

  • Lord of the Rings Universe (Including The Hobbit)
  • Dragon Age series
  • Elder Scrolls
  • Mass Effect Trilogy
  • Star Trek (I'd love a Discovery one right now!)
  • Star Wars (Specifically the time around the Prequels; while I shan't get into the whole Prequel/Original war on which is better, roleplaying makes for more excitement in the prequel era. Clone Wars guys, c'mon!)
  • Buffy the Vampire Slayer
  • Fringe
  • Greek Mythology (PJO, but with the amount of Camp Half-Blood roleplays that have come and gone, I'd prefer one based more on the Original Mythologies)
  • Norse Mythology
  • Marvel
  • Left 4 Dead
  • The Walking Dead (Or any Post-Apocalypse Roleplay, really.)
  • 'A Song of Ice and Fire' Series
  • House of Night Series
  • True Blood
  • Deus Ex
  • Blood Ties
  • The Vampire Diaries (I admittedly abandoned the show and books when the plot got too boring, but I still like the Universe. I'd join a roleplay based in it, if it had original characters, that is.)
  • Pacific Rim

Aaannndd I'll stop the list here before I go on forever. Basically there's a lot, particularly in the realm of fantasy. Hit me up if you want me in your roleplay, of if you'd like to do a 1x1 based around any of those areas, or even some additional ones if you think I'd be interested. I love original plots and Universes too, especially if they're done well.

Current Active Roleplays:

The Elder Scrolls: Fruits of Contention
The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion - Crimson Skies (GM)
Escaping the Blight (1x1)

So uh, I have a muse for some magic. I guess I'll get a character up and stuff. Um, I'm not too well squared away on the Potterverse, but I'll do my best. Just give me a friendly nudge or a "Hey moron" and let me know what I did wrong or misunderstood.
Sorry bud, I think you're too late. I think the RP is closed, but I'll wait on a GM to confirm that one.
That makes me think about the accent our characters use... Would there be any confinement to a certain accent, or will our characters be allowed to use whatever accent we would want them to? For example, the only accent that crosses my mind for Thorin is Shakespearean. :P I just can't see him speaking American(which I found utterly out of place in a fantasy universe) or the Nord broken English.
To me, he sounds like Richard Armitage's Thorin. Due to the language I use for both Roze and Leo, I imagine them to have American accents most of the time - but then I force myself to give them the traditional English accent, as it's far more likely in that universe. Niko has the same accent as Leo (Although a Nord, he grew up in Cyrodiil.) In fact, for most, I just apply the accents granted in the game to the characters.
Rozalia eased her way into the compartment, allowing Sora to leap from her arms before sitting down, crossing her legs. Rather than dress in the uniform already, she'd opted for more comfortable Muggle attire - blue jeans, maroon high-tops, and a top along with her mother's old brown leather jacket. It was a tad on the big side for Roza, but she enjoyed wearing it anyway. Remnants of her mother's perfume still lingered in the worn material. "Pft. Scared?" Roze said with a chuckle, taking one of the jelly beans with a grateful smile at Jake. It was a deep red - hoping it was raspberry, she waited a few moments to get in on the conversation. She'd overheard some of the talk about the Slytherins, and she was quite eager to put some of the more negative connotations of the house to rest. "I think all the houses look okay; I am hoping for Ravenclaw, but my brother was in Gryffindor, my Mother in Slytherin, her brother in Hufflepuff. Ravenclaw is the only one left for my family, I guess." She paused once more, popping the bean in her mouth and glancing at Moirah. "My Mam was alright. To be honest, judging someone for their houses is just-" Cutting off her words, she shuddered as she chewed the bean, swallowing it with a grimace. "Euch. Blood. Mr. Bott, you cruel genius." She muttered, her hair shifting from blonde to brown in disgust automatically. "...Yeah, judging someone for that is ridiculous. In fact, shoving kids apart into different houses is a bad idea. It creates rivalries." She paused for another moment, thinking on her and the others' words with a slight frown. Death Eaters... although most had been wiped out, some remained. She was unsure if the people who had killed her mother had been Death Eaters, but in the newspaper article, it had stated all five had been from Hogwarts, and had belonged to the house of Slytherin. However, that hadn't made her opinion of it become any less skewed. Perhaps most of the bad ones were from Slytherin because they were pretty much forced to live with one another? If you live continuously with one bad person for a good 8 years of your life, it's no surprise that their behaviour would rub off on you. Thinking back to the first words she had heard before entering the compartment, Roze turned back to Moirah. "About those Slytherin kids, from the Battle of Hogwarts... from what I've read and heard, only a few wanted to give Harry up to Voldemort. I imagine the majority of them didn't want to fight because they'd be facing family members. No matter how evil they are, who would want to help kill their own parents? I don't blame them for hiding." She stated in quite the rational tone, thinking that many children she would meet would be immensely prejudiced on the topic of houses and whatnot. However, this wasn't really the nicest topic they could be talking about, so she looked back to the boys in front, her smile returning to her face. "Oh, I almost forgot! I'm Rozalia Éathliel - pleasure to meet you all. Feel free to give me a nickname; most people do." She introduced herself, and Sora jumped into her lap, mewing grumpily. Chuckling lightly, she tickled the back of his head. "And this grumpy little thing is Sora. For a kitten, he doesn't half act like a mean old man." She added, and he glared - trust me, kittens can glare at you - up at her, immediately leaping off her lap and onto the windowsill, glowering out of the window. "So, whereabouts are you all from?"
I think Fair just sounds better - otherwise, every time someone says it, I'll just thinks of an actual fairy. I get side-tracked like that a lot XD
I always thought it was pronounced 'Fair' - just from her bio. Y'know, 'fair game?'
Hey, guys, interested in joining. However, I have to ask a question: How can the Dragons be permanently defeated without someone absorbing their souls? On second thought, nevermind; I won't have the time to join at present, but I would still like an answer to my question.
Hey! If you are interested, we do have some spaces open as some people have dropped out. The story hasn't advanced much either. As for the dragons, myself and the co-GMs have an idea, but it's a surprise. :)
Thanks for posting Ajax - I was wondering if you could maybe add a little more to it? There's a little more character development and environmental things you could add to flesh it out a bit - it is a little small for a high casual roleplay hon. X
I'll say this again, as my post appears to have become invisible; Roze has entered the compartment containing Julius, Jake and Moriah, and is asking to sit.
You forgot Roze - I posted the other day, she's asking to join Jake and Julius's compartment.
Oh, yeah. I'm still developing Steph's story with her parents, but it ain't gonna be a nice one. She'll probably mention it slightly or give a hint or so, but I doubt she's ready to tell anyone about it.
