I can't believe I've stuck myself with three girls for all of next year who think screaming, shrieking and making sex noises consists of banter. -_-

Posts will be delayed until wednesday, my dudes. Got some uni wori to catch up on.
Howdy all! I figured it was about time I spruced up my bio section. Or, y'know. Wrote something in it other than WIP.
So! Things to know about my mostly-good self:
I'm a 20 year old female, hailing from a not-so-small town in the north east of England. I'm currently about a third through my second year at Uni, and have made some awesome friends there so far. I also debate. That's always fun - arguing has always been an annoying trait (for others, that is) of mine, so putting it into something one can have on their CV is great. The competitions are super fun too. Anyway, roleplaying.
If you've known me for a short or long while, you'll likely know what an absolute slut for fantasy I am. High fantasy to low, I love those kind of roleplays and will nearly always be interested in new ones that crop up. The same applies for Sci-Fi, but at the moment, I'm not feeling inspiration for a good ol' spacefaring RP. Gotta get the Mass Effect out again, get me craving some Turian booty again. However, I won't go for only these ones. SoL can interest me if they're run properly, alongside horror, mystery, romance, etc. I won't ignore something simply because it doesn't have magic or flying bears in it or something. As for level, I like to consider my writing high-casual to low-advanced. Hopefully others will agree with me on that one, haha. Anyway, here's a list of specific fandoms I enjoy, kind of in order of preference:
Lord of the Rings Universe (Including The Hobbit)
Dragon Age series
Elder Scrolls
Mass Effect Trilogy
Star Trek (I'd love a Discovery one right now!)
Star Wars (Specifically the time around the Prequels; while I shan't get into the whole Prequel/Original war on which is better, roleplaying makes for more excitement in the prequel era. Clone Wars guys, c'mon!)
Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Fringe
Greek Mythology (PJO, but with the amount of Camp Half-Blood roleplays that have come and gone, I'd prefer one based more on the Original Mythologies)
Norse Mythology
Marvel
Left 4 Dead
The Walking Dead (Or any Post-Apocalypse Roleplay, really.)
'A Song of Ice and Fire' Series
House of Night Series
True Blood
Deus Ex
Blood Ties
The Vampire Diaries (I admittedly abandoned the show and books when the plot got too boring, but I still like the Universe. I'd join a roleplay based in it, if it had original characters, that is.)
Pacific Rim
Aaannndd I'll stop the list here before I go on forever. Basically there's a lot, particularly in the realm of fantasy. Hit me up if you want me in your roleplay, of if you'd like to do a 1x1 based around any of those areas, or even some additional ones if you think I'd be interested. I love original plots and Universes too, especially if they're done well.
Despite Wade's attempt at looking threatening, Rozalia wasn't cowed in the slightest. She'd grown up around truly frightening and intimidating people; scarred and grim Aurors always stopped at the house following her Mother's death, to check up on the family; and her Father's Army friends were always visiting throughout the months. She'd grown used to being around trained and paid killers of both the Muggle and Wizarding world, so she wasn't the least bit frightened by a little boy who thought he was being scary.
Standing up and facing Wade - well, she was around his mid-chest, so she wasn't really facing him, but whatever - her face appeared calm, but her eyes and hair told another story. Although not pissed off enough to go full fiery red, she-devil pigmentation, her anger was tickled enough to produce a warm, chestnut-y colour to emerge from the roots of her hair, easing their way down till the previously happy blonde colour was swallowed up at the tips of her curls. Roza's eyes were still her neutral brown, but within them, there was a look not to dissimilar from the infamous 1000-mile-stare. It gave off enough metaphorical fire to prove that she wasn't going to be a victim. Ever.
"Listen up, buddy." She began, getting close enough to him to show she wasn't frightened by him. "I understand the whole ''new kid thing'' you've got going here - it's the same at any other school. First years are nobodies, right? But we're not going to be first-years forever, assbutt. And I'm already pissed off at you. So how about you 'scram', before I let my imagination run wild on ways to hurt you." Roza's voice was low and measured, the hint of a smirk on her face. "And trust me, I can hurt you. And I don't need a wand to do it, either. I can make you squeal like the little pig you look like and barely break a sweat to do it. So, if you want to stick around and continue messing with me and my friends here, don't say I didn't warn you. However, the safer option would be for you to round up your buddies, and get the hell out of Dodge." She stopped, finally, still retaining eye contact with Wade, who had broken out into a nervous sweat. He probably hadn't ever been spoken to like that in his entire life, let alone by a little girl first-year.
Love the background Leos! It's awesome - can't wait to see him reminisce over it in the roleplay. There's going to be some badass stories in that long life.
Sorry to double-post, but problem with creating an adult character: I want someone unusual, idealistic, but, at the same time, not an idiot. I want to create someone with the idealism of a child and the experience, and, dare I say it, courage of an adult, but my problem is that experience and courage come with cynicism and I don't want that in my characters; I like it in others', but I cannot abide playing a character tainted with cynicism.
You can't save the world if you've given up on it.
Well, my character Leo is fairly child-like, but not that cynical. Cynicism doesn't have to come with experience. I mean, it depends on what experiences this character has had, and to be honest, because of how diverse people can be, you can have a bad experience and come out of it as a better person. You're the one making the character, and personality is the one thing we can't complain about (as long as it's well-written, but I don't think you'll have a problem with that), because of how diverse people's personalities actually are.
Roze is another good example that I've made - she's had one of the shittiest childhoods and upbringings you could have, but she's not that cynical. In fact, she's perfectly happy, for the most part.
Sorry Bee, but no matter how good this kid was, there's no way in Hell a group of 20+ warriors would let a thirteen year old join their ranks, to kill dragons. The youngest I'll have is 16 for him, which could be a bit insufficient for him, as magic power grows over time. You'd have to have him practicing magic from a very young age, so your bio will have to correspond with that. Learning from a Master or something - he'd probably be a bit reminiscent of a Jedi in terms of how his training went - non-stop, in order to get decent power that'll be helpful in killing dragons at such a young age.
I understand, and you put your points better than what ManoftheNorth does. However, I cannot think of another character that won't be so cliched and typical.
Well, all you need to do is bump the age up to at least 16 - that shouldn't be that much of a change for you. All you need to do is make sure the bio is believable - I mean, I know you're a good writer from another RP, so I have no doubts for you there. We're just attempting to make this roleplay as realistic as possible, and a child (I allowed 16 to be the age barrier, as for most Men races, Nord specifically, 16 is the cusp of adulthood.) would be turned away.
