I can't believe I've stuck myself with three girls for all of next year who think screaming, shrieking and making sex noises consists of banter. -_-

Bio

Howdy all! I figured it was about time I spruced up my bio section. Or, y'know. Wrote something in it other than WIP.

So! Things to know about my mostly-good self:

I'm a 20 year old female, hailing from a not-so-small town in the north east of England. I'm currently about a third through my second year at Uni, and have made some awesome friends there so far. I also debate. That's always fun - arguing has always been an annoying trait (for others, that is) of mine, so putting it into something one can have on their CV is great. The competitions are super fun too. Anyway, roleplaying.

If you've known me for a short or long while, you'll likely know what an absolute slut for fantasy I am. High fantasy to low, I love those kind of roleplays and will nearly always be interested in new ones that crop up. The same applies for Sci-Fi, but at the moment, I'm not feeling inspiration for a good ol' spacefaring RP. Gotta get the Mass Effect out again, get me craving some Turian booty again. However, I won't go for only these ones. SoL can interest me if they're run properly, alongside horror, mystery, romance, etc. I won't ignore something simply because it doesn't have magic or flying bears in it or something. As for level, I like to consider my writing high-casual to low-advanced. Hopefully others will agree with me on that one, haha. Anyway, here's a list of specific fandoms I enjoy, kind of in order of preference:

  • Lord of the Rings Universe (Including The Hobbit)
  • Dragon Age series
  • Elder Scrolls
  • Mass Effect Trilogy
  • Star Trek (I'd love a Discovery one right now!)
  • Star Wars (Specifically the time around the Prequels; while I shan't get into the whole Prequel/Original war on which is better, roleplaying makes for more excitement in the prequel era. Clone Wars guys, c'mon!)
  • Buffy the Vampire Slayer
  • Fringe
  • Greek Mythology (PJO, but with the amount of Camp Half-Blood roleplays that have come and gone, I'd prefer one based more on the Original Mythologies)
  • Norse Mythology
  • Marvel
  • Left 4 Dead
  • The Walking Dead (Or any Post-Apocalypse Roleplay, really.)
  • 'A Song of Ice and Fire' Series
  • House of Night Series
  • True Blood
  • Deus Ex
  • Blood Ties
  • The Vampire Diaries (I admittedly abandoned the show and books when the plot got too boring, but I still like the Universe. I'd join a roleplay based in it, if it had original characters, that is.)
  • Pacific Rim

Aaannndd I'll stop the list here before I go on forever. Basically there's a lot, particularly in the realm of fantasy. Hit me up if you want me in your roleplay, of if you'd like to do a 1x1 based around any of those areas, or even some additional ones if you think I'd be interested. I love original plots and Universes too, especially if they're done well.

Current Active Roleplays:

The Elder Scrolls: Fruits of Contention
The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion - Crimson Skies (GM)
Escaping the Blight (1x1)

<Snipped quote by MiddleEarthRoze> Darling, darling, please calm down. XD No one is leaving, I just would hate to see such a well-done Rp die is all.
:) Ah, good. I've posted the timeskip by the way. The group has reached Kynesgrove, so the shit is hitting the fan soon. Oh, and if anyone wanted to post something that happened during the Timeskip, please feel free to do it, just make sure that it's in diary form, or retrospective thinking, or something of the like. I am tempted to see what Faire's reaction is to the pick-up line so cheesy even Sheogorath wouldn't like it. XD
"Wow...he seriously just said that." Niko muttered as Leo cracked up beside him, bent-double at the pick-up line. At the very least, the Altmer was interested in joining the group. And the fact that he was a Thalmor no doubt showed that he was able to actually fight - however, the sudden 'gooey' comment he had made to Faire stirred an unfamiliar feeling of discomfort within Niko. "Woo... the guy works fast, I'll give him that." Leo said after retaining his composure, still chuckling slightly and wiping a tear of mirth from his eye. Glancing sideways at his cousin, he grinned slyly, digging him in the ribs. To anyone other than Leo, Niko's face would be perfectly composed - however, after having lived with him for so long, he could tell when his cousin was disgruntled.. "Don't say you want his head on a pike too, cuz. You'll have to get in a line after Roze." Darting a withering look and a muttered 'shut it' at Leo, Niko walked towards Faire and the Altmer. "Well, we're happy for the help. I'm Niko." He said, then glanced around at the camp. "We'll have to do the rest of the introductions on the road though - we need to get to Kynesgrove soon. Don't want to miss the dragon." At that note, the camp moved onwards along their path towards Kynesgrove, the dragon, and possible death. However, spirits seemed to be lifting slightly. Perhaps due to the arrival of more people, or simply because they'd had a decent night's rest for once, the group moved onwards through the volcanic badlands, encountering nothing larger than wolves and the occasional bear - until they hit Witchmist Grove on their second week mark since their journey began. Although only a hag and Hagraven to fight, it allowed many in the group to show how well they fought, and how well they fought together. Some left at this point - if they couldn't handle witches, they weren't going to cope very well against dragons. However, the group was still in somewhat high spirits as they finally reached the village of Kynesgrove, despite growing tensions within the group... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Right, I'e posted - once we get Unknowable agreeing to join the group, we can timeskip to Kynesgrove - also, sorry dude. You've got yourself a mortal enemy already. XD
Although saying nothing in response, Niko found Faire's response to be somewhat disheartening; most likely as it was the truth. Killing dragons was no easy task to achieve - as the late Dragonborn had found out himself - and people would be dying as their quest towards Alduin continued. However, now was not the time to be cowed, especially just by words; they hadn't even seen a dragon yet. 'Hail, Dovahfeyn!' A voice - a new voice - attracted the attention of Niko, along with the rest of the camp. Turning to the sound, he spotted a male Altmer sat atop a horse, a few paces away from the group. "Hail, stranger," Niko began, stepping forward slightly and looking him straight in the eyes. Unlike many of his fellow Nords, Niko preferred to not judge anyone by their race. However, the Thalmor robes could perhaps cause some issues. The Thalmor weren't known for being the best people to work with. "Were you searching for us?" Leo had narrowed his eyes ever so slightly as he spotted the newcomer - a Thalmor. He didn't like the Thalmor; or the Aldmeri Dominion. Not outright hate them, or the Altmer race as a whole; but this subgroup irritated him. From the ones he had met, they were arrogant, they were obnoxious, and they were nearly always wiling to start a fight with any race that they believed were lower than themselves; that was, in fact, every race other than Altmer. "Hope he doesn't want to join us..." He muttered quietly to Roze, who was stood beside him. After not receiving a response, he glanced at her, eyebrows raising slightly to see her hands were clenched over the pommels of her daggers. Any remnants of sleep or tired humour had vanished from her face from earlier - it was instead strangely unanimated, the skin pale, but the eyes filled with a deep hatred as she stared at the Thalmor. Although tempted to make some form of scathing or witty remark to her, the small amount of common sense he had within him prevented this. The change in those eyes had been almost frightening. Not wanting the Altmer to see fury incarnate on the off chance he was actually a pleasant fellow, Leo stepped in front of Roze, a bright smile on his face as he blocked her view of the Thalmor. "Maybe you should pack up your bedroll - we aren't going to hang around waiting for you, you know." Those icy eyes met his own, but she gave a stiff nod. "Fine." She muttered, then paused. "But if that... monster joins us, I'll feed him to the damn dragons on a silver platter. You can pass that along." At that, she walked back to her bedroll and began packing her things up, leaving Leo running a hand through his messy hair, sighing. "Tragic backstory. Why do they always have to have a tragic backstory?" He muttered to himself as he walked over to Niko.
Shit Fuck I'm terrible I'm sorry Please forgive me FUCK I'll post now ples don't leave
Hey guys, sorry for my absence. I'll try and get a post up today to move things along, unless someone would like to get a post in before that? You have a few hours, I need to wait for college to finish anyways.
Are we permitted to make constructive criticisms in the OOC in regards to other people's IC posts? Just thought I'd ask first - I'd hate to offend anyone.
Name: Rozalia Casador Gender: Female Race: Hadrianite, although masquerading as a Chalcionese. Age: 24 Outward appearance: Measuring at 5’5, Roze’s figure is slim, curvy, and not much in the way of muscle – that the eye can see, that is; she’s still got plenty of strength. Her face is younger than her years, being heart-shaped, with bright sapphire-like eyes, dimples, and delicate features, and even, mostly unmarred skin. Atop her comely face is an abundance of ebony black curls, reaching about her mid-back when she hasn't tied them up out of the way. Although slightly impractical in her line of work, she can’t bring herself to cutting it short. Any scars she has retained through past battles have been on her body; most minor, but the biggest and most notable is a long, pale knife mark stretching from the base of her back, and curving around her body till it hits her mid-stomach on the left side. Personality: Despite her somewhat dark background and hidden past, Rozalia tends to stay chipper in the line of fire. Retaining her humour, her optimism, and her wit, even in some of the darkest situations, it takes a damn lot to make her lose hope – because she is stubborn, determined, and will not go down without a fight. Not only that, but she keeps those that are dear to her safe. After the death of her entire family, she has become adamant that nothing like that would ever happen again. Almost obsessive when it comes to keeping others safe, she’ll willingly throw herself into danger to prevent others getting harmed. Although this can be a definite weakness in the eyes of her enemies, she’s quite happy retaining this way of thinking. When not caught in a dire situation, she attempts to keep some form of professionalism among her betters - not that that works all the time. Speaking her mind is something common for her – a regrettable trait kept from when she was just young, not that she particularly cares. However, she is a pleasant companion to have. When not about her past, she tends to speak the truth, be it softly or harshly. It really depends on who she’s talking to. Biography: Rozalia was born as Lady Rosálie of the Jagaré family - one of seven children; the middle child, the youngest daughter. Kept safe within the empire of the Hadrianites, her family were rich, sheltered, and in good with the reigning family. In fact, Rosálie practically grew up in the palaces of the reigning family, being Hadrian VII's promised bride in the future. Things looked to be alright, for when she was young, she did not see the darkness surrounding that family, and was happy to be betrothed to a handsome man (despite the nearly 20 year age gap). However, things turned sour rather quickly for young Rosa. As she grew, so did her knowledge of Hadrian's exploits - and she swiftly discovered traits within him that were fairly despicable and not all preferable for a future husband. Despite her pleadings, her parents kept the arranged marriage going for a good few years, up until she had reached 14 – at the point he had finished his conquering of Umeacha, and had turned his gaze to other lands; Chalcion. By this point, even Rosa’s family were unsure of what sort of monster that they had affiliated themselves with, and broke off the marriage contract. Despite the fact that Rosa had obviously gone off the idea of being with him, Hadrian himself was still infatuated with her, and was enraged at the fact their marriage had been abandoned; for she was a most beautiful maiden, and he wanted her. Almost as much as his empire. To try and bring her back to him, willingly or not, he had her entire family slaughtered as traitors to the empire. Although horrified at the atrocity that he previously beloved had committed, she had been expecting something like this for a while; for years, she had privately honed her fighting skills. Unbecoming of a Lady, let alone a woman, but she was able to get the teachings she needed. She was able to escape Hadrian’s guards, and flee the country in a mere fishing boat. Once arriving at Chalcion, she continued her training with the money she had smuggled over with her. Eventually, the news of her family’ slaughter became old, and was no longer talked about. Hadrian had bigger things to worry about, so attempts at finding her were abandoned in the first year of her escape. Lady Rosálie Jagaré was forgotten, and Rozalia Casador was born. As soon as Hadrian took Chalcion, she joined the ranks of Octavian, hoping to find her revenge, and return the homes of Hadrian’s victims back to them. Equipment: The standard leather armour of Octavian's army, although she's added a few small embellishments of her own. An extra strip of cloth here, something shortened there - just enough to not be obvious, but to make the armour her own. However, her weapons are far from normal; a sword and two matching daggers, both borne of the same mystical fires that exist in the furthest reaches of the lands. At least, that's what she truly believes - they are fairly unique. A stunning set of weapons, the blades and sharp, never needing to be tended to or sharpened, and the hilts are of a stunning gold colour; as strong as lead, but as light as feathers with the blades. Set into the hilt of the sword and each dagger is a gemstone. It sparkles almost unnaturally, so it is unsure of what gem it is, and where the weapons came from. All Roze knows is that she found them in a pirate's cove during one of her more rigorous training sessions, and they were supposedly able to kill anything; be it Elf or dragon. However, all she has killed is human, so she can't really put that to the test. Other than this, she has the standard bow and arrows kept with most soldiers, and various other steel daggers hidden about herself. In terms of personal items, she has nothing. She didn't want to risk anyone knowing who she was. Skills: Is an all-round badass in terms of combat. Taking part in a grueling training since the age of 15, she's honed her skills with the blade and hand to hand. Although some way gain the upper hand over her, she has the tactical mind of a strategist to win a fight, no matter how big or strong the opponent. She is also a keen diplomat, retained from her years as a Lady, probably. She manages to keep a cool head in most situations, managing to think of the more rational solution to a problem, as opposed to killing first, asking questions later. Other: Enjoys singing in her spare – and alone – time; quite the lovely voice, but certainly not interested in sharing it with the world. She also has frequent nightmares, so either doesn't have much sleep, or just has more than a few drinks before laying down to sleep.
Ah, never mind. It was good while it lasted - and I can understand you being snowed in and whatnot. And I also hope we meet again - you're an awesome writer, after all.
Euch. Since when did this become facebook? Hell, what am I saying. I'll probably start the whole liking thing if I find something witty enough. XD So, anyone got a post in the works? I think as soon as Pirouette posts, we'll wrap things up for Darkwater Crossing. I bet you're all eager to meet your first dragon. :)
