I can't believe I've stuck myself with three girls for all of next year who think screaming, shrieking and making sex noises consists of banter. -_-

Bio

Howdy all! I figured it was about time I spruced up my bio section. Or, y'know. Wrote something in it other than WIP.

So! Things to know about my mostly-good self:

I'm a 20 year old female, hailing from a not-so-small town in the north east of England. I'm currently about a third through my second year at Uni, and have made some awesome friends there so far. I also debate. That's always fun - arguing has always been an annoying trait (for others, that is) of mine, so putting it into something one can have on their CV is great. The competitions are super fun too. Anyway, roleplaying.

If you've known me for a short or long while, you'll likely know what an absolute slut for fantasy I am. High fantasy to low, I love those kind of roleplays and will nearly always be interested in new ones that crop up. The same applies for Sci-Fi, but at the moment, I'm not feeling inspiration for a good ol' spacefaring RP. Gotta get the Mass Effect out again, get me craving some Turian booty again. However, I won't go for only these ones. SoL can interest me if they're run properly, alongside horror, mystery, romance, etc. I won't ignore something simply because it doesn't have magic or flying bears in it or something. As for level, I like to consider my writing high-casual to low-advanced. Hopefully others will agree with me on that one, haha. Anyway, here's a list of specific fandoms I enjoy, kind of in order of preference:

  • Lord of the Rings Universe (Including The Hobbit)
  • Dragon Age series
  • Elder Scrolls
  • Mass Effect Trilogy
  • Star Trek (I'd love a Discovery one right now!)
  • Star Wars (Specifically the time around the Prequels; while I shan't get into the whole Prequel/Original war on which is better, roleplaying makes for more excitement in the prequel era. Clone Wars guys, c'mon!)
  • Buffy the Vampire Slayer
  • Fringe
  • Greek Mythology (PJO, but with the amount of Camp Half-Blood roleplays that have come and gone, I'd prefer one based more on the Original Mythologies)
  • Norse Mythology
  • Marvel
  • Left 4 Dead
  • The Walking Dead (Or any Post-Apocalypse Roleplay, really.)
  • 'A Song of Ice and Fire' Series
  • House of Night Series
  • True Blood
  • Deus Ex
  • Blood Ties
  • The Vampire Diaries (I admittedly abandoned the show and books when the plot got too boring, but I still like the Universe. I'd join a roleplay based in it, if it had original characters, that is.)
  • Pacific Rim

Aaannndd I'll stop the list here before I go on forever. Basically there's a lot, particularly in the realm of fantasy. Hit me up if you want me in your roleplay, of if you'd like to do a 1x1 based around any of those areas, or even some additional ones if you think I'd be interested. I love original plots and Universes too, especially if they're done well.

Current Active Roleplays:

Pst. Seeing as their parents were somewhat tight with one another, d'you think Mia and Andy were friendly or even friends before the whole running away thing? Just for my 'ship sheet, is all. :D

When it came to sleep, Mia liked to consider herself an expert in it - she could find herself snoozing on the most uncomfortable of things in the most distracting of environments, and still get a good 12 hours or so of sleep. This one time when she was a kid still living in Georgia, a tornado warning had gone off while she was still in bed and her parents were at work - tornado passed right on by, destroyed the house right across from her, and she didn't hear shit when she was in dream-land.

Her parents were not amused when they found out.

However, one thing that always woke her up, without fail, was the cold. And as soon as her walking hot water bottle Lia left the bed, her absence was notable by the lack of heat. This was enough to drag Mia closer to consciousness, and paired with the shifting around of other people in the room, soon found herself unable to get back off to sleep. Also, her bladder had awoken and was demanding a release.

By the time Gloria had vacated the bathroom, Mia was sat up in bed, yawning and rubbing sleep from her eyes with the sleeve of her over-sized sweater. She couldn't stand sleeping in pyjamas or anything while in bed, so she made do with an old sweater that was just way too large, and lil fabric short shorts with anime cookies on them. They were hella cute, and of course she made sure to pack them during their daring escape, from the group of evil parents they had all just discovered they had.

Stumbling out of bed and getting to the bathroom before anyone else could snatch it up, Mia relieved her screeching bladder while she pulled up her sweater, rubbing a small bruise on her stomach that had appeared from last night's injection. Frowning slightly in concern, her still sleepy brain kindly reminded her that she was down to her last dose on insulin - and she had no idea how to get some more.

"Hells. Who needs to live anyways?" She muttered sarcastically before stripping and enjoying and a hot soak in the shower - which of course, wasn't enjoyable at all, because the water was fucking colder than a Frost Giant's ballsack.

After that breath-taking shower, Mia towel-dried her hair to some extent, just so it wasn't dripping ice-cold water down her already freezing back, and threw on a vest top and old jeans that she'd brought in with her. As she re-entered the bedroom the smell of cooked eggs hit her, and her belly grumbled loudly - dang. What she wouldn't give for some bacon right now. Oooh, cooked in lard with some mushrooms, oh sweet lord.

"Can somebody please tell me why we're wakin' up at this ungodly hour?" Mia said through a yawn as she walked into the kitchen, seeing three of them up and bright-eyed. "Oh, and mornin', I suppose. We got any ketchup left?" She asked, irritation of the early-morning wake up forgotten at the sight of the eggs. Heaping some on a plate, Mia walked then to the cupboards to try and find some tomato sauce, and a replacement for bread. Couldn't have eggs without bread.

She was in luck - there was a bit of ketchup left in a bottle, and as she stood up on her tiptoes, she only just managed to pull out an unfinished box of pop-tarts that she'd hidden there the day before. Peeking in, it appeared out of the three she'd left, two were gone.
"Well god-fuckin' dammit, why do I even bother? I bet it was Jay... sucker is gon' die today." She thought to herself with a sigh, throwing the last one in the decrepit toaster and watching it carefully. She wanted chocolate flavour, not "spent-three-days-burning-in-the-barbecue-depths-of-Hell" flavour.

Already feeling disgusted looks, Mia fished her pop-tart out before it was incinerated, throwing it on the plate with the eggs and sauce before sitting down and tucking in. Eggs, chocolate and ketchup went together surprisingly well.

"So, what's the plan today? Are we spendin' hours locked in a room, or spendin' hours locked in a jeep?" She asked, directing the question towards Lia and Andy. Although the tone was sarky, her sweet, honeyed Georgian tones made the quip a little less harsh.

LOVE THE PLAYLIST

As for Mia's bit, I love it - I also like how you mentioned her "humanness" and medication - as I was thinking she may just be keeping her alien-ness to herself after learning the truth. I also think she'll probably have some withdrawal symptoms when she runs out of her "medication", so that'll be fun to RP.
@Roosan

THATS AWESOME I LOVE IT
@Roosan

I trust in your judgement, my good man.
@Write

Thanks bud - I'm heading to bed now too, so I'll probably catch you tomorrow. In the meantime, you guys can be kind and not throw up at the awful work that went into the parent's bit. Oh, if Liam Neeson was aware of the mockery I'd put his face to...

*whispers*he's going to find me. and he's going to kill me.
@Roosan

AHH THANKYOUU

I was kinda on the fence about the whole parents bit -as in, had no idea what to write for them - so I figured I'd just put up what I had so someone without an outside perspective could help me out.

I can answer a few of those though:
1. They want Mia to feel as normal as possible growing up, and one can't really do that as a child knowing that they're an Alien. Also, it would be impossible for her to control her powers out in the open - there'd be a slip up somewhere along the line, and it'd be one they wouldn't be able to cover up. So, rather than tell her everything - or alternatively, tell her about her true heritage, and then have to explain why she wasn't allowed to use said powers - they've hidden everything and stopped her powers coming forth until she's an adult and can be eased into it all with more control.

2. I was thinking along the lines of; If she doesn't like what she's being made to do, she won't do it. And with such control over the lawyers in the state, that'll make it harder for the Syndicate to deal with said issues. Honestly, I was grasping at straws a bit here - I didn't want them to be controlled in the job, because as mentioned above, they consider their Avalian race to be superior to the human one. But then I was like: How can a Lawyer and Doctor call some shots in a big ol' crime group?

3. I'VE GOT NOTHING. I couldn't think of an idea - I was going to ask for advice, but I figured it was about time I just got the finished product up. I don't want to make them inherently evil - because they do actually love their family and whatnot, and the two do not go together for me - and I can't think of any reason why they may want to join a crime group. Shit n' giggles? Probably not.
