Bio

I'm an adult (most of the time) so I enjoy mature content and good stories. Most of the time you'll find me in some Sci Fi thing or another but I do sometimes end up in fantasy roleplays and ,in very rare occasions, slice of life stuff. I've dabbled in other sections of the GUild over the years but Casual Sci Fi seems to be my comfort zone. I'm probably the least intimidating person you'll ever meet and I'm always open to suggestions. I look forward to making some great stories with you all!

This looks like fun. It's been a while since I've done a slice of life RP though. I'll get a CS up in the next 24 hours probably although I can't post more than maybe once a day (I have two jobs so my time is limited.)
Spark leaned back further in her chair with her cigarette in her mouth. She thought to herself out loud. "The little one is right. They don't belong, not the way they are now. If I went out on a mission with these punks as my back up I'd be fucked for sure." She put her hands behind her head and put one leg over the other. "Whether they want to be here or not doesn't mean a damn thing now. Most of them probably don't have any fighting experience, or other skills that would be helpful." Spark exhaled a cloud of smoke and finished her cigarette. "They're gonna need to be trained from scratch. What a fuckin' pain." She got up and started to make her way to the classroom for their lesson in 'Life Skills'.
Spark watched as everyone else seemed to get worked up over Vlad's disciplinary measures. She was no stranger to getting beaten up but there really wasn't any reason to disobey the old man in the first place. From Spark's point of view it was their own fault for rattling the bars on their cage. Alastair's interjection was interesting though. He wanted to lead their squad? She didn't really think him the type of person but she was glad she wasn't being given the responsibility. The last thing she needed was to be responsible for a bunch of idealistic brats. She could tell that most of them had probably never even held a weapon with the intention of using it before, let alone actually killed someone. They were all so innocent and childish in her eyes. Spark learned early on that the harsh reality is that most everyone is in it for themselves and worrying about what is 'right' and what is 'wrong' was a waste of time. Living to see tomorrow is the only thing she cares about. Next to that fighting and killing was a small price to pay. She took another drag and leaned back in her chair.

"For fuck's sake, you dumb shits signed a contract voluntarily and all you do is complain the whole damn time? None of you are in jail getting butt-fucked by your cell mates, you're going to get the best training in the world, you have no bills to pay, and to top it off you've been given crazy ass fantastical powers!" she took another drag from her cigarette. "It's no surprise the old man wants beat your sorry asses. You all think that this is play time at Uncle Vlad's Playhouse but it's not. We're here to become soldiers not whiny little bitches who can't follow directions. You're all a fuckin' disgrace."

Alastair took the ciggerate from her, "Oh yeah in two ways you know all the ladies go after the guy with the red and black demonic arm that can control fire." He said in a sarcastic tone taking two drags from the ciggerate and handing it back to her, Alastair had to admit he was fairly good and in great shape but the arm really did throw most girls off. "And you miss spark I find the name ironic to say the least."

"Ironic?" A single pop of static went off as her eyebrow twitched. She took a drag from the cigarette. "You wouldn't say that if I shot 50,000 volts up your ass." Another drag from her cigarette and she handed it back. "Spark is the handle I gave myself when Vlad gave me my power. Figured since we're going to be S.F.* soldiers we might as well have code names too. My real name is Wong, Sandra Wong. What's your name anyway Pyro?"

*S.F. = Special Forces
unimpressed!?!?!?!?!?! I was trying to make it sound so cool and everbody is like 'meh' (>.<)
Spark ignored the others and sat next to Alastair. She wasn't very impressed with 'moon girl' but she was curious about Alastair's fire ability. "These three won't last long if they keep bitching to the old man." She lit up a smoke and offered one to him. "So you're pretty hot, Mister Pyro." Despite not really caring about the others she was eventually going to be working with them so she could at least get them to be cooperative.

"I want you to show the boys and girls the ability I've given you." Vlad told her. He ran his hand up and down her arm. "I want them to see what you can do my beautiful Spark. If you can do that without causing the room to lose power and the guards guns being effected I will allow you to go to lunch."

Spark didn't care for Vlad caressing her arm like he did but her expression didn't change. "Just a demonstration? That's boring. Well here I go then." She walked to the middle of the gym and turned to face the crowd. Her feet were shoulder with apart and her hands were behind her back. She closed her eyes and the lights dimmed slightly. Spark was trying to build up slowly to the big finish. A few arcs of electricity flashed around her body slowly at first, then more and more frequent until it built up to to a torrent of lightning all around her. The lights grew brighter and brighter. She gathered all the lightning and arced it between her hands and over her head. Then she completed the circle to create a ring of electricity around her. She clapped her hands over her head and all the lights went dark, the only thing anyone would be able to see was the ring of electricity illuminating Spark. Slowly it faded until there was nothing but darkness. For a moment everything was silent... then two claps rang out and all the lights returned. "How was that old man?" Just as she spoke one of the fluorescent lights close to her popped and landed at her feet. "Aw shit..."
Spark listened to Cassandra and Vlad. She didn't like Cassandra one bit. "Talk is cheap. I should just kill you..." She took a step towards Cassandra who had retreated after her little speech when she noticed that all the guards had their hands on their tranquilizer guns ready to draw, obviously tazers would have been pointless. She took a deep breath. "We'll play it your way old man..." She walked back to Vlad, arms crossed and clearly feeling the need for violence. "So what are your orders, Boss?"
Sorry for the language, it's just her character.
Spark checked out the girls who were apologizing to her like it would bring back the meal they cost her, then she spoke. "I don't want your fuckin' charity. Listen you little bitch, when you fuck with the old man he fucks with us which means YOU are fucking with ME!" The outburst caused a few crackles of electricity all over her body. Spark righted herself and spoke again. "If you want to be helpful then help me keep myself from crushing your damn skull under my foot by not giving me a reason. Got it?" She knew what Vlad was doing by punishing the others, it was incentive for them to follow the rules and Spark wasn't about to let these idiots make her stay unpleasant.
