Bio

I'm an adult (most of the time) so I enjoy mature content and good stories. Most of the time you'll find me in some Sci Fi thing or another but I do sometimes end up in fantasy roleplays and ,in very rare occasions, slice of life stuff. I've dabbled in other sections of the GUild over the years but Casual Sci Fi seems to be my comfort zone. I'm probably the least intimidating person you'll ever meet and I'm always open to suggestions. I look forward to making some great stories with you all!

Sorry for being away for so long. I went on a surprise getaway trip with my boyfriend which was loads of fun but I'm back now. I hope I didn't miss too much.
Work and life are keeping me busy but I'm still here. *makes tea for everyone*
I come back to the thread and find that a Manticore has appeared! I should have built a cannon XD
I can't wait to see the bill for all the crap she has to use to build the Avian Repulsion Device
Kimiko needed a number of parts and she was glad for Able's help. The others had a good plan as well, except for the boy who stormed out with the umbrella. She wasn't quite sure why he was leaving since her device was going to allow them to move about uncontested by the horde of gulls. Regardless, it was time to get to work. "Right, so I need that TV, some wiring, something conductive for the armature loop, something non-conductive for the frame, and three magnets. Two of the magnets need to be polar opposites and bigger than the third. The third magnet needs to be smaller than the other two with north and south poles. Hmm... What else?"

She needed something to magnetize objects since there probably weren't any big enough magnets just lying around. Never mind about the magnets. I'll need someone to go to the kitchen though. I need a jug of distilled water, at least a pound of salt, the biggest oven pan you can find, a smaller non-metallic pan or bowl, and all the steel wool brushes you can carry." She thought for a moment. "That should be everything I need to do this."

She turned to spark "if you find its too big a job, I can help." She didn't mean anything by it, but merely just wanted to put out there that she was willing to help. "If we can get the cameras off, we need some idea of where to look. We only know very little of the facility. But that could be a help" she shrugged, "I doubt we will get a map, but still. Anyway, I'll go where I'm needed most"

"Big doesn't mean a damn thing. Electricity moves at the speed of light so it's basically instant, I just need to find the damn master controllers for each floor and do it from there. I could probably get a map of the whole place based on the positions of the cameras but that'd fuckin' take me hours." Spark sighed. "This mission sucks. When am I gonna get to crack some fuckin' skulls?"

If Kanzen had actual ammunition, it'd be like duck hunt all over again. Buuuuuuuut, he might be the perfect gunner for that cannon.

It's not a cannon at all XD
I need to come up with a better name than Anti Bird Field Emitter...

"Looping the image will only buy us 20 minutes. 30 at the most." Roxy told them. "It might be a good place to start but once the loop is discover we need to either have the mission completed or be able to move fast. Spark do you think you can loop the videos through out the building if I cover you? Your only going to have a minute I can't access my full power an longer without Vlad knowing."

"Loop the cameras in the whole damn facility? I'll need thirty seconds, max." Spark was confident she could pull it off in thirty seconds but she was surprised she wasn't being given anything difficult to do.
All the commotion had started up so suddenly Kimiko barely had time to process what was going on. Seagulls attacking the ship? She had never heard of seagulls attacking people before but upon looking out the window it was apparently true. Some students had left the conference room as well. They had probably fled to another compartment somewhere, at least she hoped so. What could she do to help? Nothing came to mind at first. Kimiko started thinking aloud. "We can't just leave them out there but how do we get past all the seagulls..." She started pacing around trying to think of something. "We could try distracting them with fish or something but that wouldn't get us a lot of time. Maybe I could build a robot to smash all the birds!" Kimiko made a fist and punched the air in triumph.

Then she thought about all the resources it would take to build something like that. "Hmm... that would take too long wouldn't it?... Wait! Birds use the earth's magnetic field to navigate the world right? Maybe I could put together a magnetic field generator to confuse them! Right, let's see..." She looked around the room. There wasn't much to work with and the luxurious decor made it hard to spot anything useful without ripping off panels. There was a flatscreen TV at one end of the conference room but other than that she couldn't really tell. "I'll need my tools too. I'll be right back."

She made her way down the corridor where they had first entered and found the room where all the luggage was being kept. It was easy enough to spot her bright white bags among the others. all of them were neatly arranged by the butler that greeted them. She wondered where he had gone in a time like this. Wouldn't he be the one to inform everyone of the situation at hand? Putting that thought aside she reached for her bag and opened it up to reveal the mess of spare parts she had brought with her and the toolbox. She grabbed the bright red toolbox out of the luggage and made her way back to the conference room. The toolbox was so heavy she had to hold it with both hands as she entered the room. "Anyone want to help me build an anti-bird field emitter?"
