"Hello and Welcome to the world of Pokémon, My name is Oak. People affectionately refer to me as the Pokémon Professor, Well actually people refer to me as the greatest Professor of all time since nearly every other leading figure in the Pokémon World calls me their inspiration, which is strange but as long as I can help people and Pokémon I am happy.
This world is widely inhabited by Creatures known as Pokémon, There are many different types of Pokémon in this world, Some are even consider Legendary because of what they can do and some are Pseudo-Legendary, who are almost as powerful as the one that are legendary but only just miss the mark.
Some people capture and Trade Pokémon, they are what we call Pokémon Trainers, Some trainer train their Pokémon to show the very best of what they can do and to make their moves beautiful and graceful, they are known as Pokémon Coordinators. And there are Some trainers who have become the very best in the world though the power of their Pokémon in Gym battle and the Pokémon League challenge. They are known as Pokémon Masters.
But enough about that, you are about to embark on the greatest journey of your life young trainer, Starting in my hometown of Pallet town in Kanto. Your own Journey is about to unfold, take a chance and leap into the world of Pokémon. I'll see you later in my lab" Professor Samuel Oak
Last rules:
1. For the first few days, I will allow you to judge how much damage your Pokémon take from attacks. If it works and no arguments, then it shall stay, if not. All damage will be judge by type effectiveness and the roll of a dice which I will do.
2. You have a choice of 5 starters Eevee, Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Squirtle and Charmander. You can only pick one and there is only one of each.
3. You can head out on your own if you wish, but a massive event will draw you back to the group Eventually.
4. Unless a wild Pokémon health is low, you can not capture a Pokémon in one ball. Legendries are an exception to this because even if you get them to low health, their still going to take a lot of pokeballs.
5. The Pokémon League will work like the Anime version.
6. Remember, Mentors are meant to be powerful trainers so don't kick up a fuss if you are OHKO by their Pokémon, As you become stronger, you can eventually surpass them.
7. The Jinga region has just started it 7 year winter which happens every 100 years, as a result. No one can access Jinga until the winter is over. Consider the region is quite small compared to others, All the Pokémon there save the ice types are in hibernation and all the locals have left the region for now apart from a few Rangers and breeders who can't leave due to their work commitment.

It is a bright Spring morning in Pallet town as new trainers are now starting their journey to catch them all, Oak is at his lab waiting for the first new trainer to come into his lab. A young sibling pair by the names of Luke and Nayra are starting their Journey together. Though Nayra could of started her journey a year ago, she choose to wait for her brother to come of age and now the two of them are heading to Oak lab now.
"Are you sure about that Nayra?" Luke asked his older sister. "Of course, I've always wanted an Eevee and today I'm going to try and get it before anyone else does" Nayra told her brother as she began to run towards the lab with Luke following her quite closely as he said "Well, I'm really looking forward to getting a Bulbisaur if I can, Otherwise I guess a Charmander or Pikachu would do". Nayra chuckled as they soon Reached the lab
A young blonde man with a scarf like cape walked into Pallet town and sniffed the air. "Wow, Its been a long time since I was last here. Must of been at least 6 or 7 years ago" He said to himself as he watched young trainers running towards the lab and he smiled again as he said "I wonder if the old man is still here, what was his name Oak I think". He then began to run towards the lab himself to see the professor and to relive his journey again, just like back when he was younger with a very close friend of his.
