Yo I got a location suggestion

Paradiso, Nevada

A large city in the middle of Nevada where corrupt mercenary group Maniacles Corp studies the supernatural, producing weaponry and optimizing their mercenaries to optimize profit. Many mages and vampires live here, and the Progenator Gods (Oldest Gods) have many cultists here as well.

Another

Merlinus Island

An island of mages on which one of the most prominent magical schools exists. There is a big city, and three towns in other corners of the island. The jungles outside the towns and cities are known to be full of criminals and cultists.
Got another one coming...
Name: Clayton McDougle
Nickname: "The Shotgun Vampire" due to his affinity for use of shotguns. "Cowboy" Due to his wearing a cowboy duster, even in 100 degree whether. Lastly "Boss" due to his always having an idea of what to do in a given situation paired with his stoic nature giving him an authoritative vibe.
Age: 150
Gender: Male
Powers/skills: A high degree of strength, speed, agility, and resilience due to him being a vampire. He turned back in the age of the Western gunslingers, so he is an excellent shot with rifles and pistols but especially with a revolver. In addition to his love of firearms, he has been perfecting his fist fighting abilities mainly through experience, without really setting on one form like just kung fu or just krav maga. Also he regenerates wounds at a quick rate depending on how well nourished he is.
Species: Vampire (My personal idea of lore for vampires. The rules regarding his weaknesses and strength are different pm me if you want details.)
Crush: He is focused primarily on the good of the world and life as a whole, too much to fool with things like romance.
Relationship: N/A
Appearance(s):6'0, short brown hair with hints of grey. Stubble all over his face. Fit body and tan but kinda hairy. He still wears his duster and cowboy hat from years ago when he was turned. Usually wears a stoic expression on his face
Personality:Calm, collect, and analytical. He appears angry, but that's just his expression. He tries to do the right thing in many situations, but also the wisest thing. Due to his lack of excitability, and the fact he never smiles, however, he comes off as cold.
Bio/history(As always, this is optional): Was once a deputy somewhere in Nevada back in the late 1800s, when the "Old West" was a real thing. He will occasionally mention work before that to hint that possibly he also worked as a mercenary and or bandit before that. He turned to a vampire at some point, and he will say mages did it. He will not go into detail about it, but he harbors no resentment towards mages. He has fought in both WW1 and WW2 before deciding he just wasn't a military guy, though part of his combat prowess can be due to his military and war experience. He now works for a mercenary company known as ROSE, which is a group of soldiers for hire that the government can pay to take care of a supernatural problem.
Other: For the record, he does not burn up in sunlight, but he cannot regenerate, and his strength, speed, and agility are lowered significantly.
Working for Hunter or on your own?: He doesn't know or trust this Hunter person, but is not totally opposed to doing temp work for him.
The mans hands miss, smacking together in the light, revealing his finger bones have had the flesh ripped away.

Despite his painful looking wounds, however, he doesn't seem so much in pain as he is pissed off.

He balls his gory hand into a fist, and swings it into your stomach
Behind you, a man stomps his feet down in the mud. He hunches slightly, struggling to lift his head enough to look at you. He limps a few steps in your direction, before a gaspy, but threatening scream leaves his mouth.

He picks up the pace as he walks after you, eventually walking into the light to reveal his clothes are tattered, and the skin on his face is partially torn or rotted away revealing bleeding, crimsom muscles and sickly white bone. His arms shoot out and he attempts to grab you
Only a small puddle of water and a few loose threads greet you when you peer inside.

A humanoid shadow casts itself in the light, but then vanishes a second after. Whoever casted it must have walked off into the nearby building, which looks like a church, but no crosses or recognizable religious symbols decorate it.
After a short stroll through the mud and trees, you reach a gate entrance of a cemetery. The light was coming from the various lamps along the gate, to light the way for visitors.

Inside the gate, splitting the graves on two sides, is a sidewalk. A change of pace from the muddy terrain. It appears to be leading to more buildings, all of which have lights on inside.

On the ground nearby, leaning against the fence, is a large backpack. Though damp, it may not be damaged.
The rain continues pounding outside, but the leaves of the trees in the forest nearby are thick enough to nullify the downpour significantly.

Through the trees, not that far off, in fact, you notice fluorescent light, though the trees make it impossible to see exactly what its coming from.
The book has been sitting here fore a while. It is partially damp, and many of the pages are even torn. The one thing that would deter you from understanding it the most, however, is that it isn't written in English, or any other language you recognize for that matter. Various neatly drawn symbols fill the pages that arent warped or ripped, but not a single English word can be found.

Despite the drum of rain and occasional crashes of thunder, a constant hum can be heard in the distance. It is faint, and details of whether it is a siren or something else cannot be made out.

Staring through the mouth of the cave, you can barely make out a short few steps of dirt, maybe some bushes. After this, however, the land drops into the ocean, which seems to go on forever.

All this can be seen, however, by the moonlight, though there appears to be some kind of light coming from outside the cave and off to the left.

The rain is coming down, and the dirt outside is totally soaked, the type of mud that you would sink into a few inches with each step.

Inside of the cave is a book, laying on the ground beside the altar. The area surrounding the altar is surrounded by what appears to be a Satanic five pointed star drawn on the ground surrounding it.
