What Luro assumes is a couple weeks ago after a long night and multiple consumption of ale

Luro’s eyes slowly opened as he started regaining consciousness, his gaze met with an unfamiliar ceiling and he was pretty sure he was in a bed right now. He slowly sat up and looked down realizing he didn’t have his shirt on but that wasn’t too unnatural after drinking as much as he did before.
He brought hand to his head as he couldn’t remember most of what happened last night…well except the drinking part, he was pretty sure he punched someone in the face.
Luro felt something shift next to him and looked over to see a woman asleep next to him; he blinked a few times tilting his head as he dug in his memory, he noticed the wedding ring on her finger and actually panicked a little but finally his memory returned to him.
“Oh yeah that happened,” he said with a nod before climbing out of the bed. “Pants…pants…ah there they are.”
Luro found his clothing one by one and got dressed adjusting his shirt a little before grabbing his gun then heading over and picking up his rifle putting it on his back.
He grabbed a piece of parchment and grabbed a quill pin before dipping it in ink, he wrote a small note on the parchment for the woman currently asleep, it was only polite to say goodbye to someone after all.

Luro went to leave but stopped seeing a pearl necklace on a dresser, walking over he stuffed it in his pocket and taking a few steps back wrote an extra note on the parchment informing her that he stole her necklace before going to leave once more.
However as he neared the door he noticed it open, a slightly plump man walked in a bandage over his nose and his right eye black, the man was slightly shorter than Luro and had short brown hair. When his eyes landed on Luro they widened before narrowing into a glare as he pointed to him.
“You!” he exclaimed which woke the woman in the bed who Luro assumed was his wife.
Looking at the ring on his finger it seemed he was correct in his assumption. Luro lightly tapped the side of his head with his fist remembering him.
“Oh yeah I punched you yesterday, sorry about that.”
“What are you doing in my house?!”
“Your wife apparently,” Luro said shrugging. “I think your daughter too…actually yeah though that was earlier.”
“What?!” the two exclaimed at the same time.
“I should probably go pay more attention to your wife,” Luro waved to the man before running and jumping out of the window crashing through it, he hit the ground rolling before lying on his stomach as his lunch almost came back up.
“Ugh...that seemed like a good idea until I actually did it,” he said getting onto his feet.
“Get him!” the man exclaimed from his now broken window prompting Luro to quickly retreat.

Luro reached the docks and pulled the pearl necklace out of his pocket, he tossed it to a child sitting near the pier who eyed it with wide eyes before looking back up at Luro.
“I’m sure you could get a good price from that, just don’t let the mayor see you,” he said before walking over to his small dingy.
No sense in not sharing his wealth as he still had some silver left over, untying his boat he pushed it out to sea before hopping on it and turning back towards the town.
“Guess I can’t come back here for a bit either,” Luro said before sitting down and folding his hands behind his head. “Still I’m feeling good, I think I got some good luck coming my way.”
Sadly Luro was wrong in that regard as he found himself stranded on an island….again. His ship completely torn apart from the rocks he had the pleasure of meeting when the wind picked up. There wasn’t enough wood to repair it so it seemed he was stuck here for awhile, possibly forever. Luro sighed and fell on his back on the beach setting his rifle next to him before folding his hands behind his head.
A few days passed before Luro noticed a ship in the distance, grabbing his telescope he looked at it to see a young lady with an eye patch at the helm.
He tried waving to them and screaming but he was pretty sure she wasn’t going to see him, he was on the eye patch side and they were pretty far away.
Luro grabbed his rifle and pulling out a small contain from his sleeve started reloading his gun, he walked forward until he was fairly in the water and raising his gun took aim at Runali. He smiled and turning the gun slightly noted where her hand was on the wheel, he took in a deep breath and exhaled fired a shot hitting the spot right above her hand on the wheel.
Thankfully that was enough to get the attention of the young lass who would become his captain, he climbed on the ship and ended up joining shortly after enjoying the idea of someone else guiding the ship as it seemed he kept getting stranded on his own. He wasn’t against telling her the love he had for the Coral Pearl either offering to be her carpenter
Presently in the marketplace
Luro walked through the marketplace his hands shoved in his pockets, he wanted to go to the tavern and drink but he ended up staying behind to inspect the ship for any leaks or problems. He was going to try and ask the captain to pay for his drink but she was gone before he had a chance.
Luro sighed and shrugged his shoulders deciding to just wander around for awhile, thanks to Carmen he didn’t have to worry about supplies since that was her job and all.
Luro grinned glad to have one less thing to worry about, not that he really minded doing the shopping, he could find a bargain sometimes which left a little for himself. Granted she was the boatswain so he had to report back to her, sometimes he left out the extra he saved. Thankfully Luro had an eye for good wood and he inspected it before purchasing it, the Coral Pearl wasn’t getting any weak wood if he could help it, well so long as they had the money anyway.

A familiar face caused Luro to stop his gaze falling on Nolan, he hadn’t known the guy for that long but his food was enough of an explanation of his character which was good.
He seemed to be having some trouble with the food; Luro brought a hand to his chin wondering if he should help him carry it. Seeing him drag the potatoes he shrugged and walked over to him adjusting the rifle on his back.
“You look like you could use some help,” Luro said to him with a raised hand.
Luro reached down and grabbing the sack of beans threw it over his shoulder, however he stumbled back a little at the weight and the force of his throw before catching himself.
“This is all going back to the ship right?” Luro said smiling at him. “With all the stuff you have I can’t wait until we eat.”
Luro stepped to the side letting Nolan lead the way back before placing a hand on his hip.
“Haah working on the ship, working off the ship why can’t I find a lass to listen to my troubles or some ale for once. Least Carmen hasn’t found me; she might give me an order.”
Oh I intended too but it's good to know it's permitted (within reason of course)
I'll have one up soon as well, already working on it.
Larel entered the pub and covered his nose as the smell of sake filled the air along with a few other notable scents, he started feeling lightheaded just from the atmosphere. He walked in deciding to hurry this along before he passed out just from being around so much of it, the place reeked of it and he was surprised it wasn't drifting outside.
Larel realized on the way that he should have asked what Kimura looked like but she probably would have charged him extra for it, with a sigh he took a seat and motioned to a young girl walking around the place. When she walked over she asked what he wanted but shivered as he glared at her, he noticed it and raised his hand slightly as an indication he wasn't going to do anything. It was an instinct when anyone of the female gender got to close to him and it was hard to keep from doing it, he couldn't count how many times he scared kids away.
"Do you have a man named Kimura in here?" Larel asked looking back into the pub. "I have business with him."
The girl seemed to hesitate for a moment glancing in a direction, he had been expecting that response if he was a regular they weren't just going to sell him out so he needed to give them a reason. When the girl looked back at Larel he grabbed the hilt of his sword not really caring that some eyes had moved to him during their conversation.
"I'm only asking once," he said narrowing his eyes at her. "I'll just start....'guessing' if you don't answer me."
It had been awhile since had to act like this, personally he didn't like doing it too often but it got the job done sometimes.
The girl and a few other patrons pointed at a guy who had lowered his head and was trying to hide his face a few feet away, Larel stood up thanking the girl before walking over to Kimura, he stood next to him staring down at him.
:"Are you Kimura?" Larel asked staring at him.
The man was middle aged and had short black hair though Larel could see he was balding a little on the top, when he met eyes with him Larel glared at him before grabbing the front of his kimono.
"I'm not sure if you heard me before, I'm not asking again."
"Y-yes I'm Kimura," the man said holding his hands up.
"Good come with me."
Larel dragged Kimura outside into an alley before slamming him against the building, he lifted Kimura up until his feet were off the ground, before he took him to Hotaru he figured he should ask some questions since his blood was going into her after all.
"You sold your daughter to a brothel correct?" Larel asked.
Kimura went wide eye at him but just averted his eyes instead of answering, Larel drew his sword and pointed it at his eye holding him up with one of his hands.
"I don't need you to see for what I need you for, answer me Kimura."
"Y-yes," he said quietly.
"Have you used the brothel often or taken any kind of drug?"
"N-no considered it a waste of money and didn't want Mika expecting me to help her."
Larel had checked him when he came out disarming him of a dagger he kept on his person and he didn't find a kiseru pipe on him so he was sure he wasn't lying at least.
"....Not a waste on sake though, good I'm glad you're a horrible person I won't feel bad for what'll happen," Larel said. "You deserve to just be killed for what you've done and honestly I might kill you myself but for now you have your uses."
Larel put his sword away and punched Kimura in the side of his head causing him to fall to the ground, Larel kicked him in the side of his head knocking him fully out.
"Zenmaru," Larel said crossing his arms.
Larel's shadow moved and pulled Kimura into his shadow until his body was fully submerged in it, he glanced to his right and told Zenmaru not to do anything to him since he was needed for Hotaru later.
He turned and made his way back to the inn wondering if this is what Mary meant by keeping some on hand, he would ask her later as he was sure Hotaru may not want to look at the person while she's doing so he certainly didn't want to see his face again.
"I missed this side of you," Zenmaru said in his mind chuckling a little afterwards.
"Don't expect to see it too often," Larel said.

Kaori tilted his head as Eryn spoke to him, he smiled a little as he listened though when he mentioned Hotaru being nobility it faded and he shook his head slightly as he didn't believe it at first. Kaori admitted he wanted to see some of the tattoo's which if he ever completed his masterpiece would happen, Kaori had actually drawn tattoo's before though he wouldn't openly admit it. He drew them mostly from criminals and samurai but normally they weren't too extravagant so he liked the challenge of painting one the size Eryn mentioned. Ferran was the woman they saw in that dream world so he was a little curios of her work but Alari would probably make it so such a thing didn't happen.
When he mentioned that the tattoo's hid some wounds his eyes narrowed a little, he supposed they meant from their father. Kaori would have asked to see them earlier but even he understood it wouldn't be polite to ask with memories tied to them, Alari at the very least taught him that.
"The one on Mera-dono's back must be very beautiful especially with the meaning behind it," Kaori said closing his eyes. "My curiosity aside I'll admit at first I didn't believe Taru-chan was but I heard it myself so I can't really deny it."
Kaori nodded a few times as it was true, strange as it was to admit anyway. His eyes opened as he remembered something slamming his fist onto the palm of his hand.
"Oh I remember one of her tattoo's, she had that rose on her shoulder," Kaori said pointing to his own. "Back at the festival...."
Kaori trailed off before he reached up and put his hand over his face, a small sigh escaped from him remembering how Alari sent him away.
"I wanted to capture that moment in my art forever, I would have done everything in my power to make sure future generations would get a glimpse at such a wonderful moment....but I had to hold back with everything going on."
Kaori lowered his hand and crossed his arms, he hated having to be responsible in such situations but it showed he at least cared enough not to force the matter, though it was extremely tempting.
"Oji-san owes me for that one," he said pouting a little.

Alari felt heat flow into his face hearing Mera openly say she was worried about him, he ended up looking away from her rubbing the back of his head at a complete loss for words. He wasn't expected her to actually say it so it caught him off guard, he felt the heat grow when she mentioned it was a start. He closed his eyes trying to regain his composure but when Mera spoke to him about Kaori he looked in his direction before crossing his arms. He wasn't going to try and be gone too long, he still had other duties to attend to that required him to be near Larel and he had to keep an eye on Zenmaru as well. Alari brought a hand to his chin for a moment considering the length before looking over at Mera finding an answer.
"Don't worry about Kaori," he said smiling a little. "He always stays hidden when I'm not around and that's one of the things he's good at. Besides he's too afraid of Larel and Hotaru to stay near them for long without another around to...'help' him. Enjoy the time with your family I'm not sure how long they'll be accompanying us after all."
Alari put his glasses back on as he wasn't going to leave until tonight and he would make sure Kaori was asleep and hidden first so Mera wouldn't have to watch him as well, he was sure she wanted to spend more time with Mary and didn't feel it right to rob her of that time.
"Oh right," Alari said putting his hands in his sleeves. "There is something that would help me Mera. It would help immensely, I'm sorry to ask but it really would assist me."
Kenji picked up the menu and opened it deciding to get something cheap for himself, the cafe wasn't a large one and compared to some it wasn't as occupied though school was out, but there were some students he recognized from school in there but they seemed to pay each other no mind lost in their own conversations. Kenji normally came here after school since they also served sweets alongside regular food, he was going to get a couples piece of cake but that wasn't an option anymore now that he was treating the two so he looked for a sandwich.
Kenji raised his hand and waved when the two entered to show where he was at, he pointed at two menu's across from him already having asked the waitress who was another student for extra menu's. When he first came here he was curious what she was doing working here but when he thought about it he didn't think their school minded students working so he decided to let it go deciding not to pursue it any further.
He was looking at his menu so he wasn't sure if they had made it to the bench yet but he spoke anyway still flipping through the pages for something.
"Feel free to order whatever you like," he said stopping on the drink section. "We can talk while waiting for our food, well I suppose we'll finish our earlier conversation Aiko-san."
Kenji smiled a little mostly to himself as he flipped back another page finding it hard to find something cheap and tasty that he wanted at the moment, but his stomach reminded him not to be too picky right now.
"I'm curios what you were doing in front of the manga store Shion-san, I've never seen you in there before when I've gone in."
Breaker's foot slammed into a negative sending it into a tree before he walked by it raising his gun and shooting it in the skull as he passed, he closed his eyes deciding to ignore the comment about his heart and especially the sweetie he was pretty sure he just heard.
He summoned his second gun firing over his shoulder nailing another negative in the skull before looking over at Lily hearing her speak to him, a small sigh escaped from him expecting that a little bit but he dug his own grave on this one, he did willingly decide to help.
"Your sentiment is noted but I'd probably appreciate it more if it wasn't an insult at the same time," Breaker said to Lily ducking a swipe from one of the creatures before raising gun and putting it to its chin pulling the trigger.
Though he was irritated he admitted he was relieving a bit of his stress on this things so ever so slightly he seemed to relax just a little bit, though he still preferred relaxing with peace and quiet on one of his long walks.
Breaker didn't fight with flair like the other two viewing the situation more troublesome than entertaining, even while putting the gun against the head of another negative his expression never changed, to someone that didn't know him it may seem creepy he could kill with such an emotionless face, one he wore even when he pointed a gun at a fellow altar ego but he didn't see the point in smiling when he pulled the trigger on these things.
Granted there was one ego he'd pull a gun on without a second thought and a smile might crack on his face as he did so but at the moment it wasn't necessary to think of them.

Breaker turned his gun sideways and stabbed it into one of the creatures mouth before firing watching it fall to the ground, he stared at it for a moment as another approached him from behind, he rested his gun on his shoulder with the gun upside down before pulling the trigger nailing the creature between the eyes. These things really weren't that much of a challenge, compared to the others anyway. They were more trouble in larger groups and when they were bigger, these seemed like small fry but he couldn't let his guard down. Even inexperienced soldiers were deadly in extremely large groups if used together, he kept an eye on their flank not really in the mood for any more surprises, last thing needed was a sneak attack from the forest.
"Are you still kicking Sonata," Breaker said not looking at her. "Going off my luck you wouldn't fall the easily."
Ouch I wish you the best with that, hopefully you'll be free of it soon.
Kenji admitted he didn't have the best luck when it came to interactions, however he felt that he did what he could not to upset others. When Shion grabbed his shoulder he realized just how much trouble he was in by the grip alone. He searched desperately for a way out of the situation but one came to him in the form of Aiko and it'd be a lie to say that he didn't appreciate it in every sense of word. The hug part made him arch a brow a bit but he didn't really mind it that much, in the end he decided to just accept it and take advantage of the opportunity.

"Ah well I was going to go to a cafe alone but I suppose some company wouldn't hurt," Kenji said rubbing the back of his head answering
Shion's question.
He didn't catch back at the crosswalk that Aiko was accompanying him so he was caught off guard by her sudden appearance. Kenji figured since she was here it would be rude if he invited one person and didn't invite the other, and right now he needed to make sure not to make Shion even more angry then she already was. Kenji came up with an ingenious plan that should at the very least make up for his earlier rudeness, though he considered it completely acceptable seeing the end result.
"Are those chocolates for you? Some guy probably gave them too you right...oh wait it's not time to do that yet...well that doesn't matter. Why don't I treat you to some food in the cafe as an apology for well...what I just did. You're welcome to come along too Aiko I'll pay for you as well, it's the least I can do for having to leave so abruptly."
Now that Kenji thought about it this plan was going to destroy his wallet, Kenji reached up ruffled his hair realizing the error of this whole thing, but he couldn't exactly take it back now. It was times like this he was glad he slept through his math, the last thing he wanted was the ability to actually do the equation on how much he was going to spend.
"Well if you want of course," Kenji said before pointing at the cafe a few feet away. "I'll be in there soooo...yeah."
With that Kenji turned and pulled out his wallet as he walked into the cafe and sat down at one of benches before picking up a menu.
Breaker decided to casually ignore Sonata's response and continued forward, he came to a stop and crossed his arms as he took another look around. There had to be a way out of his forest. Going off what Sonata was saying she was only accompanying him until he got out here which only gave him more reason to leave the forest as soon as possible. If she was going to accompany him she could at least point him the direction to the edge but he doubted that happening anytime soon. Breaker ran a hand through his hair at the possibility of no one being in this forest, aside from the negatives anyway. Personally at this point he'd rather deal with them, at the very least he could shoot them and be done with it. He didn't like Sonata but he wasn't about to pull a gun on her for no reason, he didn't dislike her to that degree anyway.
Breaker's eye twitched a little at being called cute and he put his hands on his hips letting out a small sigh as their conversation continued. He seriously considering taking back his earlier thought, maybe he did dislike her that much.
"I like loneliness and quiet," Breaker said shoving a hand into his pocket. "It's peaceful and I don't have to hear people randomly calling me cute. The sooner we leave this forest the better...I may never enter it again."

Breaker came to a complete stop as he noticed someone in the distance fighting off what looked like negatives, once he got a good look at their face he brought his hand to his own knowing who it was.
"That's Riot Lily," Breaker said before lowering his hand. "Why am I encountering the last people I want to see, next thing I'll know Scarlet will show his mug just to ruin my day."
Breaker stared at Lily for a moment crossing his arms and looking to his right as he looked at another path to take.
"Listen Sonata I really don't want to interact with Lily if I don't have too."
Breaker glanced back at Sonata as he said this, his face was still blank but his eyebrows did narrow a little at the idea of it. He was already conversing with Sonata if Lily got pulled into this he'd probably use the last of what patience he had.
However he turned back around and summoning his gun shot one of the creatures in the back of the head causing them to dissipate, he stared at his smoking gun before lowering it with a heavy sigh. Though he said all that he wasn't about to watch someone get hurt right in front of him, not that it seemed like she needed help she was doing fine on her own.
"....damn it," he muttered hating what he was about to do.
He couldn't tell how many of the creatures were left but he raised his gun and pointed it at another as it was too late to back away from the situation now, he could have just kept walking and ignored it but Sonata would be right there anyway so he wasn't going to be alone anyway.
"If she needs it we should probably help Sonata."
It's understandable, I've posted after exams before it's rarely ever pretty.
My character is up
Name: Luro Makachi

Age: 21

Gender: Male

Appearance:
Luro stands at about 6’9 and has bit of muscle tone needed for his job, due to his long sleeves it doesn’t show, his eyes are hazel. He has a tattoo on the right side of his face put there by natives he encountered during his travels. The StarDusk symbol rest on his chest slightly on the left a little over his heart, it remains the original with the cloth circling around it and since his shirt is normally open slightly revealing the top of his chest it always shows.

Position: Carpenter

Personality: Luro is a carefree guy that would rather sleep on a beach then go pillage a village; he seems too relaxed a majority of the time especially in times of conflict. He’s a friendly guy who is more than willing to share a pint with his worst enemy at a moment’s notice. However underneath his easygoing exterior is a violent man more than willing to use force to get his way.
He’s a loyal crew member who does have a personal code of honor, however he believes anyone that’s willing to attack him should be ready to lose their life over it.
He loves nothing more than brawling and taking a nap afterwards.

Special skills: He’s been in enough fights to hold his own when it comes to bare knuckle brawl but his true skill is his obsession for firearms. Luro’s love for firearms extends to his usage of them especially his flintlock rifle. He’s spent years combining the usage of his rifle and his brawling into a style that can lock with any hand weapon, it’s a stylish close combat style using his rifle and hand-to-hand. He can reload his gun with inhuman speed (though it is still a flintlock rifle so it won’t be in five seconds or anything like that) and he’s just as deadly at long range as short but his skilled use extends only towards his rifle as pistols are more inaccurate, this doesn’t stop him from keeping one on his person. He doesn’t like sword or cutlasses so he never carries any.

History: Luro’s past seems to change each time it’s brought up in conversation making his history sketchy at best with even his current name being made up. What is known about him is that he got into trouble with the law and instead of getting imprisoned and eventually hung he decided to run away. Luro became a stowaway on a ship and to his misfortune that ship got caught in a storm. Instead of waking up in another city he found himself on a beach on some island. Very few people survived the wreck but the few that did tried to adapt to the best of their abilities. Luro met a carpenter during that time and he taught him what he knew when Luro agreed to help him in getting off the island.
The two succeeded enlisting the help of anyone that could help and made their way off the island, unfortunately when Luro returned to land he found a wanted poster of himself up in one of the port towns, knowing he couldn't stay he left on the dingy that got them to land. Unfortunately he ended up getting stranded again and met some natives during this time, his story after that is a mixture of random adventures and possibly an endless supply of lies.

Why did you become a pirate: Freedom is Luro’s reason. He loves the idea of being his own man and doing what he wants whenever he wants. So long as he can enjoy his freedom he’s content with whatever lies in his way.
