Thank you for the consideration and there's more than enough for me go work with, I'll get one last thing in and I'll be good.
Kaori smiled hearing Mary but it faded as he was pulled down; Kaori listened to Mary as she explained who the other woman was nodding when he heard it was her sister. He blinked a few times but grinned happy to meet more of Mera's family, he wondered if he could do a family painting at one point but he decided to focus on Mera before expanding further. He sighed and closed his eyes as Raina explained what was going on, when he was traveling by himself he didn't encounter anything like this, he started to wonder if it was bad luck to hang around Larel. It couldn't possibly be Mera, Mary's or Alari's fault, Hotaru maybe but definitely not Mera.
He was interested to hear about the elves though, Alari had told him what little he knew about it after he heard the conversation in the forest while serving as Zenmaru's seat, most of what Alari told him came from what he heard from everyone else though.
"I may want to avoid getting possessed then...I'm pretty sure Larel wouldn't hesitate to cut me down," Kaori mumbled.
He looked at Mary as she talked about Raina's skills and nodded in agreement making sure to keep low, he could kind of understand that a bit, though she at least had other talents to rely on.
"That's an impressive feat, I'm personally quite proud of my ability to hide and run...though I suppose that's different then her skills," Kaori said with a small smile.
When Mary leaned closer Kaori nodded and held up a finger as he recalled the message Alari asked him to deliver.
"Oji-san told me to tell you," Kaori began speaking quietly but loud enough for Mary to hear. "Mary by time you receive this message I'll have reached Mera, I'm positive Larel will meet me there as well since I sent him out ahead when a bad feeling hit me. I'm going to have Larel get Mera as far away as possible when we meet, in her current state fighting might not be the best and knowing our luck she'll probably be in trouble by time we meet. I'll make sure Mera see's you again so make sure to take care of yourself, I promise to return the last thing I need is Kaori whining because I got myself killed."
Kaori nodded his head at this as it was true before he continued.
"I'm not sure what I'm going to run into but judging by this feeling it's probably not going to be easy to get past especially if it's your father, If this is the case I'll have to vanish once all this is over. I'm telling you this because I may not have time to tell the others and Kaori will be hiding, I'll make sure Mera's safe before that happens though. Take care of yourself and-"
Kaori cut himself off before reaching forward and ruffling Mary's hair as Alari had requested him to do.
"Stay out of trouble,"
Kaori turned his attention forward again before smiling a little.
"Oji-san is smart so I'm sure he'll do it, so we have to do our best since he's doing this best."

Larel nodded and got ready to advance hearing her words, avoid killing him if possible that he would be able to do, however at the mention of Sybil being back in Hotaru Larel grit his teeth and his grip on his sword tightened. At the mention of her he feared that but he didn't want to believe it was possible, Zenmaru on the other hand was losing it in his mind. He could hear her laughter reverberating through his skull and it just fed his anger more.
Hearing Sybil's voice Larel's eyes widened and Alari's hand closed into a fist before he noticed the look on Mera's face, he looked back at Thanos to see Mera get dropped in the hole, his eyes narrowed and he flexed his hand before he spoke to Larel who seemed seconds away from rushing forward.
"Larel remember your sneak attack in Kyushu, I think it's time you recreated the end of that," Alari said.
Larel actually flinched at the mention of it but he looked at Alari as he snapped his fingers causing two of the lines to vanish from Larel's seal. They both knew taking on the two of them at the same time was a bad idea, especially if they had to hold back which Larel wouldn't be able to avoid in Hotaru's case.
Larel grit his teeth and building darkness into his hand slammed onto the ground, at this Alari rushed towards Thanos to give him his opening.
He wasn't pleased Alari knew so much about this darkness but it actually came in handy in his moment, whenever he used his dark spikes he never used the darkness on the surface as he couldn't extend it far enough to be effective, he just manipulated the lack of light under the earth to force the darkness up, except this time he wasn't creating spikes.
Larel moved the darkness under Mera and once he surrounded her lower half with it, the darkness flowed out of the earth where her top was poking, Larel quickly expanded the darkness forcing the earth apart, the moment it opened he grabbed Mera from under both her arms and jumped away wrapping his arm around her waist with an apology as they moved away from the scene.
Alari on other hand slammed his foot down and threw a low punch towards Thanos's stomach before getting ready to shift his stance to uppercut him afterwards, he couldn't afford to give him distance or he'd just pursue them. Once Sybil got out he wasn't sure he'd be able to stop her and hold off Thanos so he hoped Larel would get far enough away.
While Larel flew back threw the air with Mera he spoke to her as Alari got further and further away.
"I had to abandon my master during a rescue mission in Kyushu because we got found out, I realized I could used the darkness in the earth then. He intends on buying us time, much as I loathe the idea I know I can't take on Sybil seriously if she reaches us."
Larel landed a few houses away and set Mera down before looking over at her.
"In Hotaru's body it's not going to take Sybil long to close this distance though that goes without saying, and I'm not sure how long he can hold off your brother so we should hurry and get that blood. Can you run Mera-sama?"
Oh that sounds like eight types of fun good hunting with that whole thing. I got it up as well.
Larel and Alari both skid to a stop as they received Mary's message, Larel was a tad confused but Zenmaru just told him to get to Mera and gave him a direction to go in.
Alari grit his teeth and set Kaori down before closing his eyes for a moment, he opened them as he caught Mera's echo, using her power made it a little easier to locate her, feeling an echo similar to that of the forest in a village was easy to locate thankfully.
Alari looked at Kaori and reaching over put a hand on his shoulder, he pointed in the direction they were running before speaking not really ecstatic about what he was going to tell him.
"Mera's father is here Kaori, keep to the shadows and go this way...she's that way," Alari said not saying Mary's name.
If her father was here he feared his men might be in the village as well, Kaori nodded understanding and Alari gave him a message as he reached in his sleeve and handed a few talisman's to Kaori.
Kaori blinked and took the talisman's looking at them and the strange letters written on them, Alari pointed to them before explaining.
"These talisman's will protect you, if you place them on a creature other than a human it will inflict it with the curse, it won't work on higher class being so be careful. Imps and the such won't be able to resist it. If you slash at it the talisman will cut through their body and will hit their nerves directly, do this if they're human, it won't kill them, if you do it to a demon it will do the same but they'll recover faster. Under no circumstances place it on a human being, the curse will devour them if you do. The letters will disappear with each use, once gone the curse won't work anymore be careful of that."
"O-okay Oji-san, be careful," Kaori said before Alari nodded and sprinted off, Kaori noticed Larel sprinting in the same direction and offered a small nod.
Kaori took a step back into the shadows sinking into it, he clutched the talisman's to his chest before fading completely.
Moving as stealthily as he could Kaori moved in the direction Alari had pointed to and sure enough after looking he found Mary...and some other woman. The two seemed to be conversing so he was sure she wasn't an enemy as Mary seemed relaxed with her.
Kaori moved to the shadows in front of the two before stepping out holding his empty hands out as he spoke quietly.
"I'm not an enemy, I'm not a fighter either, well I'm more of the first than the second one, actually no I'm pretty equal in both...no what I mean to say is I'm not a bad person promise I'm just a messenger for Mary-chan from Oji-san."

"Of course it's not simple."
Alari fell from the sky and landed next to Mera placing his hand down as he landed before slowing raising his body up, he looked at Thanos and with a sigh removed his glasses before placing them in a case and sticking them in his sleeve.
Alari had the pleasure of hearing their conversation though he wasn't sure what was in Thanos, hearing his words it was plain to see it wasn't the man he had met before.
"I'm not sure what's up with you Thanos...but going off what I heard you're not yourself right now. I suppose asking you to politely leave is too much."
Alari looked over at Mera flexing his hands before he looked at the thorn covered house, Hotaru must be in there and hearing 'Thanos' mention Sybil he became increasingly concerned why.
"Are you aright Mera?"
"She would be if you would keep your distance."
Alari looked past Mera to see Larel walk out of the shadows and stand beside Mera on her other side, he turned towards Thanos and brought his hand to the hilt of his sword and lowered his body slightly, Zenmaru told him to be cautious as the scent surrounding Thanos was inhuman.
"I don't know why you bother conversing, this man's obviously a threat," Larel said. "Also don't stand so close to Mera-sama."
"That man is Mera's brother Larel he's...just...well possessed it seems."
"I could care less who he is if he threatens Mera-sama he's my enemy....Wait did you say brother?"
"Yes and Thanos isn't doing this willingly Larel, even if negotiation isn't an option you shouldn't just start swinging your sword, if you intend on attacking at least avoid lethal organs."
"....if he lays a hand on Mera-sama I can't promise my aim won't slip. Still if he's Mera-sama's brother I don't see him going down easily....are you sure he's possessed?"
"I've looked this man in the eyes multiple times Larel. I've seen how he looks at Mera, look closely and you can see the difference."
"I'll pass Mera-sama what are your orders? I'm ready to attack at any point of time I'll be lethal or non-lethal depending on your preference. Also just to confirm did I hear him say Sybil? I don't know what he wants with her but I wouldn't put my faith in someone who's already lost once."
"You always choose violence," Alari said sighing. "Just focus on protecting Mera."
"I don't need you to tell me that," Larel responded glaring at him.
(I think I kept it within reason, let me know if it needs to be changed in anyway)

Name: Zen Ian Yasashiku (Nickname is Kuso due to his personality)

Age: 17

Gender/Sex: Male/Male (Including both for political-correctness)

Height: 208

Weight: 68kg

Hair Color: Blonde

Eye Color: Amber

Blood Type: A-

In Depth Physical Description:

Personality: Zen is a person who believes he needs to be self-sufficient and shouldn’t rely on others more than he needs to. He’s normally irritated about one thing or another and believes actions speak louder than words. Zen is normally silent but unfortunately it’s not out of shyness or a desire for solitude; when Zen speaks openly his words are normally harsh and generally hurtful. He lobs insults like their normal greetings and isn’t ashamed to be rude to end a conversation and can sound generally selfish. Thankfully his heart is as big as his mouth and contrary to his irritated outside he has a soft heart and would carry a stranger across fire and brimstone if need be, though he would complain the entire time. He can’t stand this side of himself and seeks to make himself more heartless, due to his conscience however he’s unable to do so and finds it difficult to ignore someone in need. He’s more focused on his own affairs than that of others so war’s and the such are ‘a waste of time’ to him.

Origins: Japanese-American (Geographically speaking)

History/Bio: Zen grew up in Kyushu born to a Japanese father and American mother, he learned more about American culture due to the influence in the area from a young age thus English became his first language, even his middle name came from his mother’s father. His father however wanted to instill his culture into him so he taught him Japanese and showed him what he was able to. Due to unfortunate circumstances Zen’s father left his mother when he was young and his mother put more focus into her own career as he went into middle school. Zen grew distant with his mother during this time and thanks to a mix of suppressed emotions and confusion Zen became easily irritated and got into fights and generally made more enemies than friends in the neighborhood and school. His mother did what she could to intervene but their relationship only seem to sour as time went by, Zen often came home to an empty home and spent a majority of his time alone, it got to a point where he would look at his mother and saw only a stranger. Eventually he was sent to live with his aunt by his mother in Shikoku who he became close to through their time together. After transferring schools he tried to be more behaved both in and out of school to avoid trouble with his aunt but old habits died hard for him and not being fluent in Japanese made it harder as half the time he couldn’t communicate properly. He doesn’t speak of his time from middle to high school as he has more demons than he cares to admit during it. His aunt helped him adjust to Shikoku and finished teaching where his father stopped. At his aunt’s mention he attended Shirasagi high.

Combat Style: Zen has a mix of medium and heavy attacks; his movement is slow due to the force he puts behind his attacks however. He’s a dirty fighter more than willing to throw sand in someone’s eyes, smack them with the nearest object he can find, kick them while their down etc. endurance is the only thing he really has going for him as he prefers getting up close and personal. He’s willing to take a small hit if he can get a big hit in, he focuses on crippling his enemy or at least making them stagger, the moment he gains the upper hand he puts his full force into his attacks inflicting as much damage as possible in the small window he has. The only weapon that interests him is a scythe due to it’s peculiar shape and use but since obtaining one is pretty much impossible a lead pipe get’s the job done just as well.

Extra Information: Zen has an unnatural obsession with cats, especially kittens; he can’t stand other animals in any form however. He’s a smoker but being a student he keeps such things to himself except when he has to obtain more. His favorite color is Orchid, he’s speaks fluent English and is experienced in Japanese, however as he doesn’t care much for the language he tends to be lazy with it so it’s not surprising for him not to follow all the rules of it. (he might not call a sempai by their title for example). He has a soft spot for kids and enjoys fishing.
I found time to post the other day but the site was down. My laptop's about to die so I'll post tomorrow on the desktop.
Alright I understand. I've almost finished. I'll have it up soon.
Fair enough I believe I can do that. I'll be putting up a profile in a bit. I'm immensely interested in how combat's going to work and the antagonist. If Persons will exist or whatever, even more so how they're summoned. Not hating this setting either, I'm looking forward to this. Oh one question though, when it says combat style do you mean how they fight regularly, for example if someone walked up to him and punched them in the face how would they retaliate. A strange example but what I mean is how they personally fight, I may be over thinking it and if so that's alright. I can still make my character sheet but I'm going off that it's personal, if it's not I'll have to change that part.
It was an unfortunate circumstance that occurred so thanks for being honest, as soon as you can is cool.
Hahaha indeed it'll benefit them in the future though. I shall focus on it, sorry for the late response I ended up out of town for a bit, it was spontaneous and no matter what I tried no connection worked for me. In two days everything begins so I'll vanish during that time, I'll post whenever I get the opportunity.
