Kaori's eyes shot open as he heard Mary and he quickly turned to her, he felt his heart sink seeing the expression on her face and hearing her voice.
He wanted to say something but no words came out, even Jin was shivering and jumped into Kaori's kimono when he was pushed behind Eryn.
Kaori nodded hearing Eryn's words and peeked from behind him as Mary's power started showing itself, he stared wide-eyed at the scene only reacting when Mary grabbed the helmet, he unconsciously reached his hand out to stop her but Mary was gone in the next second causing him to lower his hand.
"Mary-chan..." Kaori mumbled lowering his head.
He quickly looked back up hearing Raina's words and nodded as she started after her, Kaori stepped out from behind Eryn as Jin jumped back out onto his shoulder, a sad yip came from the little fox and Kaori reached over and pet its head.
"It's not your fault...you didn't know," Kaori said. "Let's wait here for them okay."
A giant red glow formed in the sky as Jin yipped in response, Kaori quickly turned his attention to it as the red filled the sky, his jaw dropped as the talisman let off a fierce glow. Jin hopped off Kaori shoulder and quickly transformed into Alari before pointing to himself than out to the light.
"That's Oji-san's doing?" Kaori asked.
Jin nodded and waved his arms causing Kaori to looked back out at the light.
"...Oji-san."

Larel reeled back at the attack but he kept his hold, he couldn't let Sybil get away he had to get Hotaru back. The moment he saw the look on her face he let out a small smile and sighed a little, but when the horrified expression showed he figured he'd better start explaining what exactly happened.
Larel let his darkness subside and releasing Hotaru stepped back to force the sword out of his gut he put his hand over the wound and wiped the blood from his mouth before holding up his other hand to show he was alright. He noticed Mera had run off with some woman and knew it wasn't safe for her to be running around in her current state, but he had to explain what happened to Hotaru she was probably a tad confused at what had happened.
"Good to have you back Hotaru, first off I'm fine I made sure the attack didn't hit any lethal organs I let it hit me so I could get the blood into you," Larel said. "It wasn't my blood either it was an already dead woman's from the house over there, it was Zenmaru's plan to get it to you not Mera-sama's she just wanted to get the blood in you but Sybil used your own body as a hostage so we resorted to such a trick. I apologize for having to resort to such measures."
Larel's spit the blood out of his mouth before shaking his head as he removed his hand from his wound.
"I don't know how you drink that stuff," Larel said chuckling a little but it quickly faded as a realization came to place. "I just kissed Sybil...oh man I'm going to be sick. I mean it was you but she's in you so it was her so...ugh..."
Larel covered his mouth as his face paled at the idea of it, as he stood there Zenmaru watched the two with a small smirk on her face as she started moving her darkness.
Since the two were so occupied and with all these demons around it wouldn't be too surprising for an...'accident' to happen to them. That seal wasn't stopping her either which only brought her more joy.
She started to move the darkness into a weapon but a red glow filled the sky directly above them, when it did Larel quickly looked at the sky as a figure fell from above and landed directly behind Larel lowering on one knee to steady themselves.
The figure seemed to be a young woman shorter than Hotaru and Larel, she barely looked old enough to be an adolescent but what she wore made her stand out.
She had on a short kimono which stopped a little past her knees and over top of it she had the top part of Alari's kimono on, the light blue pattern with the fish and what looked like plants on it was hard to miss as he always wore it around. She had on Alari's glasses as well and with one motion of her hand she threw out her medium length blond hair that stopped at the top of her back.
She had on white tabi and red geta that made her seem taller than she truly was, she was slim and had pale skin, her fingers were slender and she reached up and adjusted her glasses with them.
She turned around her bright blue eyes landing on Larel's wound, she reached forward and grabbed it causing him to flinch, when she did a yellow glow enveloped her hand and the wound closed and healed itself.
Without a word she turned and walked over to Zenmaru, she tapped a wooden sword on her shoulder as she walked and when she passed Zenmaru slammed it against her skull causing Zenmaru to grip her head before the girl sped off in the direction Mera had gone, Zenmaru scoffed and chased after her.

The girl jumped from building to building going as fast as she could move, however when she neared Mary she was quickly forced down to the earth and hit the ground with a loud crash creating a small crater in the process, the girl groaned and got back to her feet before her eyes landed on Mera, she did what she could to get next to her and get a better look at Mary. Her eyes landed on Mary and her target, seeing their father her eyes narrowed a bit before her glasses started to crack from the pressure.
"If she goes and get's herself hurt," the girl said her voice light and soft as she stared at Mary. "I'll never hear the end of it."
The girl stood fully up resisting the pressure the best she could and opened her mouth however she stopped and turned around as Zenmaru rushed at her reaching for her face, she slammed her wooden sword into the side of her skull sending her into the ground with a 'stay'.
Zenmaru grit her teeth and tried to stand up but the pressure was a bit much in her current form causing her to only be able to take a knee, she glared at the girl as she turned back around.
"You...what are you?" Zenmaru said before leaning forward as the pressure got to her more. Her eyes went to the girl's back before she noticed the red talisman appear and vanish, her eyes widened at it and she lowered her head and grit her teeth before punching the roof a grin showing on her face realizing what she was.
"That little...heh...hahahahah..."
Even with the small crack on Alari's glasses a glare seemed to form on them as she took in a deep breath.
"Mary!" the girl yelled Alari's voice coming from the girl.
When the glare faded her eyes let off a familiar red glow as she stared at Mary her grip tightening on her sword as the pressure caused the glasses to fully crack.
"Mary you have to stop this! Those artifacts are harmful remember! if Mera's claw burnt her hand I don't want to think about what that helmet will do to you! We'll take him to down together don't force it all on yourself!"
She couldn't move towards her, this force was relentless if that wasn't enough she was going to have to pull from something. She was glad Zenmaru was around for that convenience should it come to it.
"You're not even real...yet you have that much power....ridiculous." Zenmaru said a grin on her face.
"The fuck is this," Zen's voiced echoed in the huge area he found himself standing in. Looking around there was no way this was any kind of reality, the entire background was covered in what looked like an endless starry sky, the stars twinkling in and out of existence as fast as his eyes were able to keep up. Giant chunks of land floated slowly around him, some of it was brown like a desert wasteland while others had grass and looking in the distance he could even see one with a small tree on it.
There seemed to be an endless amount of these chunks and looking up he found a huge one the size of a city hovering above, it cast a shadow where he was standing before floating into the distance.
Whatever this was it made Zen extremely uncomfortable, he was positive he didn't have the imagination to have a dream as vivid and...creative as this. He quickly looked behind him expecting to see another version of himself or something grotesque only to see endless darkness. He let out a relieved sigh and looked down to find himself on a chunk of floating land, this one had grass on it like the ones currently floating around him, there was even a small pond on his right.
Zen noticed he was wearing a blazer with a cerulean tie when he looked down, holding his leg out he was also wearing slacks and black shoes with it, he grit his teeth and realized this was probably the uniform of his school Shirasagi.
Reaching up he grabbed hold of the tie and pulled it down causing it to hang loosely around his neck, he unbuttoned his blazer and threw it open with more of a flash than he intended. There was no way he would wear this normally so that confirmed this was definitely a dream, but why his school uniform of all things he hated wearing it formally which was the only way he was allowed too. At the very least there weren't any teachers around so he didn't have to worry about getting yelled at, even if he did this was a dream if he punched a teacher it wouldn't matter.
"...I'd still better not, if this is some subconscious thing it might be bad," Zen said as he shoved his hands in his pockets and started walking forward.

There wasn't much to walk too as the floating continent was pretty small, when he reached the edge he looked over to see if the starry sky was below him too, however as he neared the edge a chunk of land popped out causing him to take a step back.
"....okay...." Zen said before he put his foot out. With a bit of tentativeness he tapped the land, when it didn't fall he put his foot firmly on the land and with a scoff stepped fully onto the land. Another piece of land quickly shot up as he did so and seeing it Zen started walking hunching forward a bit as more land continued to form as he walked. He continued forward not entirely sure where he was going as he walked, he looked ahead to see what was in the distance before he noticed another piece of land with someone on it. Zen stopped and pulled his hands out of his pockets as he confirmed it was actually a person, he looked behind him before clicking his tongue and turning back to the person picking up a light jog.
Thankfully the land kept up with his pace and he made it to the person pretty quickly, once he stepped on the land he slowed down and clenched his hands into fists as he walked up towards them their back currently to him. Looking at the persons outfit he noticed they were wearing some kind of skirt, he assumed it was a girl but he's been proven wrong before in such matters. Looking at her black...or was it red hair in a high ponytail made him consider it really was a girl, and if so why was a girl in his dreams.
The girl turned around and he immediately glared in her direction not sure if she was threat but the moment his eyes locked with hers it felt like something was being forced into his skull.

Zen quickly sat up in his bed breathing heavily as sweat poured down his face, he looked around only to see the messiness that was his room which calmed him down.
He looked down at his body to see he wasn't wearing a shirt, he pat his bare chest and pinched himself which hurt but confirmed he was awake.
He looked over at his desk only to see a pair of his boxers with cats on them and a shirt covering it, reaching over he removed both articles of clothing before picking up his clock to see it read 5:00 a.m. which caused Zen to set the clock down and lay back on his pillow.
He could wake up and make some breakfast but after that messed up dream he didn't really feel like moving right now.
"Sayuri Takashi," Zen said as he stared at his white ceiling before closing his eyes.
He had heard the girl's name when he was in Kyushu, the unfortunate thing about being a delinquent is you hear the names of 'strong' people.
However that didn't excuse how he knew her first name as he had only heard her name once and only her last name so he assumed it was a boy. It was the day he transferred out of school and it was a hard day to forget as a few people came to settle the score with him. Even then he had never met the girl and definitely didn't hear her first name, he didn't recognize that girl at all in his dream but something just told him that was Sayuri even more so her name came to him so easily. Zen decided to ignore it and go back to sleep but as he tried the blank face of another girl flashed in his mind for a moment, he gripped his head and forced it down.
"The hell is wrong with me why do I keep thinking of women," Zen said before a small grey kitten hopped on his bed.
Zen looked over hearing a small 'mew' come from the cat, he reached over and grabbed the cat before setting her down on his chest and closing his eyes.
"I might be getting horny Mittens," Zen said with a heavy sigh. "Starting to make up women in my dreams."
At this the cat promptly got out of his grasp and jumped off the bed before moving away from him and into a mess of clothing in the distance.
"...oh right Mittens is a girl, sorry Mittens," Zen said before closing his eyes.
Whatever that was there was no need to think about it, the whole thing was just a dream maybe he did hear her first name or whatever, he decided to ignore it and go to sleep...but he found it incredibly hard to just forget about it.
Yuri's all man after all it makes sense. I look forward to it Rafale.
Kaori flinched at the words and he stared at the ground not really wanting to answer that question, he wasn't sure how much longer he would be able to do this. Alari told him not to say anything but it's not like he could keep it up forever, he was a horrible liar after all and it hurt to think about. He couldn't hide the expression on his face it was too hard to try and smile when he doubted it so much.
When Eryn came in he felt a tad relieved since the subject might change but when Raina spoke of Alari he flinched again seeing that wouldn't be the case, worse off he was sure Eryn just explained who he was which made it all the more difficult to just play off. Kaori just wanted to get away from all this but going outside wasn't an option, he'd be dead within seconds especially if Sybil was out there.
Jin sensed Kaori's discomfort and popped out of Kaori's kimono, he landed on his head before yipping.
"Jin what are you doing out-" Kaori started talking to Jin but stopped when it felt like something was reaching into his skull.
Jin spit a ball of blue fire out causing it to expand and cover the small area in front of Kaori, a dome type energy enveloped the area and Kaori and Alari materialized in front of Kaori within the dome about human size.
"No...." Kaori said trailing off as he watched the scene from his memories.
Alari was shown speaking to Kaori in the village and he said message to Mary which Kaori had already delivered.
Kaori pointed to his hand before speaking telling Kaori the final part of his message.
"Mess up her hair and tell her to stay out of trouble,"
"Why do I have to do that?" Kaori asked. "I wouldn't like my hair messed up and I'm pretty sure Mary-chan's probably older than I am."
"Don't worry about the reason just go ahead," Alari said. "Now Kaori don't mention this part but I'm going to die soon. I'm on my last legs here but I need to make sure everyone's safe first, I'm going to set up a talisman to counter what that accursed woman will do."
"Zenmaru you mean," Kaori said.
"Yeah my hold is weakening in my current state, coming back before took more out of me than I thought. Letting Zenmaru out will cause her to influence Larel, that would be extremely bad without a control. Thus I'll have something in place, regrettably Larel won't kill me with this I'll end up killing myself to put it up, please make up something for my absence. 'I have to vanish' works just fine."
"Oji-san I don't really like this..." Kaori said.
Alari ruffled his hair and nodded his head as he moved his hands in his sleeves.
"I don't like it either Kaori, but I know she'll do something. We don't have that much time so please do this. I know Larel wouldn't miss me but if Mera found out...I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I put her through any pain...I have to keep my promise but I don't want to hurt anyone while I do so."
Kaori watched as Alari rubbed the bracelt on his wrists, Kaori couldn't recognize the look in Alari's eyes but it was a distant one, something rooted deep in Alari showed for a moment but it faded as soon as it came.
"Okay Oji-san...uh...you'll...you'll come back right, like you always do," Kaori said worrying showing on his face.
Alari averted his eyes at this and his eyebrows narrowed as he didn't answer, Kaori's eyes widened but Alari turned his attention back to him and smiled before reaching over and patting his head.
"Don't worry about me...just do your part. I'll get Mera in Larel's care she'll be safe with him. I'll unlock the seal a bit so he has a bit more power...just make sure Mary stays safe. If I save Mera and Mary get's hurt then we still lose. Remember Mary's our friend so we have to make sure she stays safe and everyone else too."
Alari reached in his sleeve and handed Kaori the talisman's before the vision of the two faded as Jin yipped again.
Kaori kept his attention to the floor and put the talisman's back in his sleeve with a small sigh.
"...sorry...Oji-san made me promise not to say anything...but I believe Oji-san wouldn't just die like that...he...he wouldn't die...Oji-san promised me he wouldn't leave without saying goodbye and he didn't so he'll be back...so...I have to believe he'll come back...if no one's waiting for him he might not come back."

"Hahahaha ah I love that about you Mera, that tenacity of yours always makes me smile. I ever tell you that I love breaking strong people, that broken look in their eyes gives me more more excitement than cutting through a dozen humans," Zenmaru said grinning. "My guilty pleasures aside let's watch, its not everyday you get to watch two good friends try and kill each other."
Larel's body lowered a bit as Sybil agreed and ran at him, she was fast keeping up with her was hard enough but he readied himself to respond once she was close enough. When she closed in on Larel and stabbed at his gut his eyes went immediately to the tip of her blade.
"Did you know Mera," Zenmaru said. "That Larel could have dodged that Kunai when Hotaru tossed it at him when they first met. Instead he let it hit him because Larel knows one thing about catching his enemy off guard."
Larel turned his body slightly but didn't try to dodge the blade, he dropped his sword and let the blade stab into his gut his eyes narrowing as it did but he braced himself and grabbed Sybil's wrist the sword still in his body.
"The best time to catch your enemy off guard is when they have the upper hand," Zenmaru said grinning.
Larel summoned the darkness from under the ground and dark hands grabbed Sybil's ankles before another grabbed her free arm by it's, he reached forward with his free hand and grabbed Sybil by the back of her head.
He pulled her head toward his before putting his lips to hers, as he did blood trickled out of his mouth as he forced the blood into her mouth keeping a firm hold on her to make her swallow it as he tried to keep a firm hold with his darkness.
"I was speaking to Larel while you were giving your orders, we decided to use a little deception. Larel pretended to get rid of the blood but only cut his own hand spilling his own blood. Even if Sybil got the scent Larel is a human being, it'd be a subtle difference since it was a female's blood but a little goading would help keep her attention off it. When I put my hand over Larel's mouth during my speech I put the blood in his mouth, I am darkness after all that blood went right to me."
Zenmaru let the blood of the woman run along her fingertip before licking a bit of it off as she continued with a smile.
"All Larel had to do was make sure Sybil was close enough, on the ground and the attack didn't hit any vital organs, granted he felt bad about last part of the plan as he was sure it was rude but you gotta make sacrifices sometimes. All of this to follow your orders and help his friend, that boy's innocence truly astonishes me."
Zenmaru clapped her hands together truly happy to be a part of Larel's soul, she lowered her hands however as a smirk formed on her thin lips hearing Mera's words.
"Feel free to use your imagination for an answer to your question Mera-san," Zenmaru said an almost giddiness to her voice. "I just came out to personally watch, we should focus on those two, I'm hardly more interesting than what's going on over there. Still I love the despair that shows on the face of humans, it's so beautifully pathetic hahaha."
"Insert funny innuendo joke here" Present.
That's works and as far as I know the two of us are here. You could try a roll call or something old school like that.
The sentiment is shared Lucius, I suppose for now it's the waiting game.
Kaori thought he was going to be sick when they teleported again but he couldn't deny that he was happy that they had gotten away from that very angry man. Looking at Mary though he was really starting to worry about all of this, when she spoke his eyes widend a little at her intent on getting everyone away. When she went to sleep Kaori reached towards her but stopped mid-reach and withdrew his hand. Mary was doing what she could for everyone and it was obvious it was putting a strain on her, Kaori looked at the talisman's Alari had given him and the part of his message he said not to share with anyone. Alari was going to die, he told Kaori that pretty directly without a moments hesitation. He was going to do so because it was the easiest way to set up a counterattack if necessary, one talisman would activate if it became necessary but he couldn't be alive for it. He told Kaori to make up something for his absence, he said 'I'll have to vanish' will suffice if nothing else, he didn't like it but it was a personal request from Alari so he complied.
Alari put his life on the line for them, honestly he wasn't sure what to think about it. Alari didn't answer him when he asked if he could come back this time, Alari was taking his own life...that broke the immortality rule.
Kaori shook his head he couldn't think about that, he just had to do what he was able too, everyone was trying hard for now he couldn't be cowardly...though it was extremely hard not to be.
Kaori looked over at Raina as she spoke to him, when she lowered her hood Kaori seriously considered if he should just do the family painting first, he quickly pulled himself back to reality as she continued to speak.
Kaori looked at Mary and sat on his knees letting out a small sigh before he spoke.
"Yeah she's been using them to try and help us," Kaori said. "Mera-sama didn't want her too and Oji-san didn't either but..." Kaori trailed off for a moment pained for a moment as he thought of Alari. "Sorry...Mary-chan wanted to help. I don't like my friend pushing herself too much...but I appreciate how much she cares at the same time."
Kaori stood up and adjusted the flower in his hair before holding the talismans in both hands.
"At the very least she can get a nap in while we wait for everyone else, of course any actual physical fighting involving touching I leave to you Raina-san so good luck I'll be rooting for you...from way over here."

Larel remained still as he looked at Mera however when Sybil's voice reached his ears he immediately looked for Sybil, he found her and his eyes narrowed at her as he noticed she really was controlling Hotaru's body and he could see the strain already put on it. When Sybil mentioned control Larel's eyes actually drooped as he found that extremely hard to believe with the way she seemed to address things but now wasn't the time for that kind of doubt.
When Mera spoke to him he nodded and his shadow returned before picking up the body; Larel watched as it was pulled into his shadows vanishing into the vast darkness before a loud crunch was heard. Larel physically flinched and holding up his hand allowed a sphere of darkness to appear, when he made the darkness hiding the contents of the sphere vanish a red liquid showed within it. The liquid was clearly the blood from the body though Larel wasn't pleased with how he obtained it. The sphere vanished and Larel watched as Sybil landed near them.
She wasn't going to willingly accept the blood he knew that, so it seemed he was going to have to force it. He looked at his hand at the thought of it but he didn't have much choice.
When Sybil spoke he felt a chill run down his spine worried what she intended on doing, when she put the blade to Hotaru's throat his eyes widened as a mix of fear and anger enveloped him. His pupils shrank as he stared at Sybil his hand clenching into a fist as he watched her, he was beyond anger at this point and seemed at the breaking point.
"Hey hey now," a voice called pulling Larel back to reality.
Larel's shadow rose up and taking the form of the female Larel wrapped her arms around his neck before resting her chin on top of his head.
"Now that's not exactly fun now is it? Entertaining as it would be to watch Larel's only friend die in front of him and I mean it would really be fun this is a boring way to do it."
The voice was clearly Zenmaru and thanks to Alari removing three of the seals she had just enough power to manifest, though it seemed she was still darkness and not a physical being.
"Larel you have to fight your friend," Zenmaru said.
Larel's eyes widened at this and he opened his mouth to complain but Zenmaru spoke stopping him.
"If you don't Sybil will kill her, I mentioned this before right. You'd have to choose, now you remember what a ninja has to do right."
Larel lowered his gaze at this and Zenmaru looked over at Mera before her easygoing grin showed on her face, there seemed to be something else lurking beneath that smile but she turned her attention back to Sybil causing it to vanish.
"Remember the three wise words Larel, see no evil a ninja only see's a target there's no good or bad about them, no friend or enemy," Zenmaru said this covering his eyes with her hands. "Right?"
"Y-yes Zenmaru," Larel said nodding.
"Good ninja's don't hear evil either do they," Zenmaru covered his ears as she said this. "Those orders from earlier aren't important, right now you have an enemy and they have to be taken care of."
Again Larel nodded as a response to her before she continued.
"A ninja must speak no evil either right? Being silent and all that uninteresting stuff you do, now darken your heart, pull your sword and attempt to kill you friend like a man," Zenmaru said as she covered his mouth for the last part.
Again Larel nodded and Zenmaru grinned and hugged him from behind again before patting his head.
"Now get rid of the blood," Zenmaru said.
Larel held his right hand out as requested and summoning the darkness let the blood from the human fall to the ground leaving a red spot. Larel used his foot and covered it up with dirt.
Larel glanced back at Mera at this, he wasn't sure if he could communicate it but he tried to say 'trust me' with his eyes.
"There now everything's even," Zenmaru said smiling. "Why don't you make the first move Sybil or we can I just want to see the pained expression on his face as he fights his friend. I got trapped and missed all the fun at the festival, I want a little fun of my own and what better than two friends fighting each other. I get my payback for rudely excluding me and it'll be interesting to watch, it's a shame you can't fill his emotions right now they are everywhere. Don't you agree Sybil, just imagine it Hotaru will either wake up with her friend standing over her bloody corpse or she standing over his. Imagine that reality for a moment, well that's if you let her see it mind you, don't see why you wouldn't though it's cruel not to let someone know they took their friends life. Leaving in denial and ignorance is bad for a persons health. Now hurry up and get ready I didn't come out here to watch Hotaru die, I came out to watch two people suffer, possibly three depending on Mera's opinion of this."
Zenmaru backed away from Larel and took a few steps until she was next to Mera, she crossed her arms as a silent indication that she had no intention of interfering.
Larel reached back and drew his sword before holding it with both hands and getting into a fighting stance, he didn't want to do this and it showed on his face but he steeled himself and locked eyes with Sybil.
"You'll have me to deal with if you interfere Mera," Zenmaru said keeping her attention forward. "Let the two 'enjoy their youth' for at least a single minute."
She grinned at this, she knew what Larel was going to do without the blood in the dark sphere there was only one other way to help Hotaru and it involved getting up close and personal which is why he drew his sword.
"I wonder though, if he'll be able to attack her. Either way there's going to be blood. He's not at the power he was with their original fight so let's see what happens. The human ninja or the demon in the vampire's body."
Zenmaru wondered if Mera would catch on Sybil wasn't stupid but this was something Mera who had just been rescued in a certain way may realize exactly where Larel's darkness was going.
"Kyushu is such a nice place," Zenmaru mumbled to herself.
Kaori put his hand to his chin as Mary spoke to him, he smiled seeing she at least had an idea because he personally had no idea what to do. When she motioned to the person wearing the helmet his eyebrows drew down a little. He'd seen what happened when Mary used her power too much, he had a good idea what those things did as well, hearing it melted heads didn't help his worry. He watched the two seeing that Mary was going to help Raina get to the helmet, he felt fear start to overcome him at the idea of that huge man down there finding them. Now that he thought more about it Alari was supposed to be his bodyguard why did he leave his company again.
He was quickly reminded as he looked at the two however, Alari was worried for his friend and Kaori was as well, with a small sigh Kaori took deep breaths to calm himself down before Raina was teleported.
Kaori blinked a few times seeing the whole thing happen but when she was brought back his eyes widened before he was shoved to the ground, he covered his mouth with both his hands as he looked over at Raina.
He wasn't incredibly comfortable that she had the item the giant roaring man was currently trying to obtain, he closed his eyes and slowed his breathing waiting for the moment to pass, he was pretty sure the talisman's he had weren't going to do anything to him.

Alari grit his teeth as his arm was grabbed, but a small smile formed on his face up until Sybil broke out, his eyes glanced over at her hearing the word brother come from her. That at least explained who was currently occupying Thanos, when Sybil jumped on the roof Alari grinned and flexed his hand before looking up at Thanos.
"I kind of figured my attacks would do little but I've done my part to help even things," Alari said before holding his hand up to Thanos' face. He gathered Ki into his hand and detonated it while at the same time gathering the Ki in the arm Thanos had and blowing it up to escape.
He jumped away from Thanos landing on the opposing roof of the building Sybil stood on, he looked at his missing right arm before looking up at Sybil letting a talisman fall from his other sleeve. He brought the talisman to his other sleeve and put a bit of his blood on it, he hurled the talisman high into the air until it vanished.
"This is all I can do right now," Alari said before he coughed up blood some trickling down his chin.
Alari fell to his knees as a small grin formed on his face, his body was starting to go numb, he had a feeling something like this would happen.
"Finally caught up to me," he said before he fell forward vanishing in a flash of yellow.
Larel accompanied Mera doing his best to keep up with her, he admitted that Mera was nothing if not resilient he respected her for that. He nodded at the mention of the house and rushed inside finding a body at Mera's request, he quickly came back out before he felt his whole body shudder hearing Sybil's familiar voice. It echoed in his mind for awhile and he grit his teeth as Sybil's smile flashed in his memories for a moment.
The idea of it being on Hotaru's face just infuriated him further as he walked up to Mera adjusting the body on his shoulder, the person was a young woman and the first one he grabbed when he ran in, he had seen more but he found Zenmaru's influence grow the longer he stood there. Last thing he needed was Zenmaru to start commenting on how the bodies were still warm and it was a waste to leave the rest there.
Larel watched as Mera put the bodies on the roof, he offered a small nod as a response to her words as he couldn't really blame her, he didn't say it out loud but he of all people had no right to judge on something like this but he pushed those thoughts aside and looked at Mera.
"I hope this works," Larel said closing his eyes. "I'd rather not test Zenmaru's question of my loyalty to you by fighting Hotaru, I fear what I might do."
Larel felt a chill run through his body as he quickly opened his eyes as they flashed; the seal on his head flickered as another line vanished from it, he shook his head before looking to his right.
"Zenmaru what was that?" Larel asked narrowing his eyes. "That was Alari.....alright thanks for letting me know."
Larel closed his eyes and took a long deep breath as his shadow sunk back into him as he waited for his further orders.
"I'm ready for your orders Mera-sama,"
I'm interested as well
