Well, I'm trying to build a world steeped in realism. But since you dug into some research for to try and convince me, I can't help but let it fly.

I'm convinced, we'll use that for our aerial exploration vehicle. Top-of-the-line, newly experimental. I expect it to have some issues with flight, but we'll have it in there somehow. Well done for convincing me lol

It's gotta be small, though. No more than four people can fit in the thing at once, including the pilot.

It's no problem, just put something up whenever you're ready. I still need to make a character for this, and hopefully a couple of other people I've been waiting on will pull through. IF not, I'm fine with working with four characters, we'll just have to work harder to pick up the slack yo

I think that's awesome, but I feel like those are a more modern invention. The chopper we'd be working with would likely be a fairly new technology to the world, so I don't know exactly how high tech choppers would be.

I like where this is going, but that's a pretty cartoony picture and it makes getting a mental image of the guy tougher. Maybe just forgo the image and write out a more detailed description or something?

I read through your sheet, and I like it. Biggest thing I would say is that you don't need to specify what will be revealed in the RP, as I hope a lot of stuff will be revealed IC.

I'll say accepted. You just might want to take out all the parenthetical statements to make the thing look a bit more cohesive. Also, I'm not quite sure what's driving Dieter to go out and see the world, so maybe clarify that a bit for me. Other than that, accepted.

NOTE: to everyone else, please post the character sheet in this OOC thread before you post it in the character thread. I didn't make that clear, but it keeps things more organized for me. Thanks.

Also, you reminded me of a very important part of the world at large. The military.

The military of each nation of the U.I. is slightly different from the others. I would say that most of them are not very strict about forced service or service time, because the U.I. is in a era of technical peace. There isn't a lot of wars being fought right now. That being said, one of the Doveran countries militaries would be a god place to fit Dieter into, because Canth and Ghersland are at odds with one another. Or perhaps one of the as-of-yet unnamed Maruvian nations would be a good place as well.

The Dover/Calais Strait, the shortest part of the British Channel which has been important since Roman times in European History, just thought it'd be nice to have Dover and Calais in the Strait then have Canth and Ghersland in Dover for names.

Hah, I gotcha. To be honest, I came up with all the names out of the blue without any real-world relations. I think I'm just going to leave the things as they are, for that reason that I'm not intentionally emulating any real world places.

I think that's pretty clever though. And when I found out Dover was a place in England, I did kind of model that entire Isle on the United Kingdom a bit.
