Oh, lol. Any word on when your mom gets to come home?

I'm about to start on my reply to you, btw. I was going to do a different one, but I have no muse for it, atm :c
Great :3 Edit it in when you get the chance. I think they would be pretty random and probably change a lot. I just drew them in on the map so we would remember what lurked in what part.

Haha, omg. Gooooo enjoy your birthday! Sushi is more delicious than RP.
Had the situation been any different, had the time been two years prior, Teddy would have told Victoire how stupid she was being. It was sad to think that she believed her own family didn't want her around, and that they would have chosen him of all people to take her place. He was grateful for the acceptance, even if he didn't always believe that he was wanted, but Victoire was blood and she belonged there at the party. As far as he could see, there had never been any reason for her to stay away, and their break up hadn't influenced her to hide in the shadow of the hospital for the last twenty-four months. It was hard drum up any sort of sympathy for her, though.

The metamorphagus cocked his eyebrow as Victoire's hand went to the pocket of her dress where he thin fingers grasped her wand. Teddy scoffed, half amused and half horrified that she would even think to hex him. Even at their worst, magic had never been any sort of defense of punishment, and Teddy didn't see why that suddenly had to change just because he'd told her to piss off. If he was honest, that wasn't even the worst of what he could have come up with as parting words.

“Really?” he asked, able to remain calm against what he perceived to be a silent threat. He reached into his back pocket, taking hold of his own wand—Willow with a Unicorn Hair core—just in case. “You were never the type to maim with magic. Guess you've changed since I last saw you.”

Having grown up with the Potter's, Teddy had become quite good at defensive magic and had even considered going out for the dueling club back at Hogwarts. During his travels, there had been a handful of times where Teddy had been forced to defend himself, and if half a dozen, fully grown Acromantula hadn't taken him down, he highly doubted that Victoire would get very far. However, Teddy had a hunch that one of the many family members gathered at the opening of the tent would intervene before things got too out of hand. This was a party, not a place for dueling over broken hearts, or whatever it was they were actually fighting about at this point.
I started off doing quadrants, but I thought it was more circular from the way you described it. If you like it enclosed like that, we'll keep it! And yeah, I just didn't want to cut off the radio tower, so I didn't include them on all sides. Now that you know what I mean, I'll color them in real quick. Hmm, earthquakes could work. I think it would be nice for them to have one actual safe place though. Maybe there are resources scattered throughout each area, which would force everyone to eventually venture out from the town?

Here we are! New map time.
Have a good time tonight! Sushi sounds excellent.

I got our map done. Marvel at my awesome MS Paint skills I: I'm going to keep it open in the background in case changes need to be made. Let me know how you feel about it.

And I hope your mom feels better ASAP!
omg and also, happy birthday! :3
Yeah, it was being super buggy. I kept looking to see if my post was showing up and it wasn't there, so that's why I kept trying to post. I wish we could have some updates to the site.

That's very true. I would say it would be closer to a 50/50 split? Just barely enough to struggle toward a revolution but people might be too afraid. I think the bombing of 12 would convince those who are on the fence that something needs to be done.

Haha, we could totally have them eat pizza. They would probably be confused by it.

I'm tempted to start working on our thread right now, tbh. I'm way excited for this to keep going.
The sudden stillness of the shop was unsettling, and Hannah did her best to quiet her anxieties and slow the rapid beating of her heart in her chest. The young redhead was a fan of horror movies, but it was one thing to watch a group of campers get chased down by a hoard of zombies, or a family be terrorized by a demonic spirit in their attic, but this was real life and things like this weren't supposed to happen. It was too strange to ignore the way the lights had blown after she had cut herself on that book, and her wound was still fresh, still bleeding and stinging—a continuing reminder that something wasn't right.

Her call into the darkness had returned nothing, and Hannah swallowed hard, taking a deep breath. She could see another shadow, although this time she was sure that it was Simon. Clicking her tongue, Hannah called out to the cat, hoping he would come to her and they could run upstairs. There was still a part of her that hoped it was just a fuse, that she could call an electrician to come take a look at everything in the morning and everything would be fine.

If there was even going to be a morning.

Shaking her head, Hannah backed up toward the stairs, the old floorboards creaking beneath her feet. If this was anymore cliché, the red-haired girl would have laughed out loud, but she was slightly too petrified to actually make a joke. Suddenly, a streak of orange caught her eye and Simon ran between her legs, darting up the stairs. The tabby seemed startled, as if he too sensed something sinister in the normally calm and easy-going air of the shop. Pursing her lips, Hannah knew that she should have taken a cue from her cat, but she began to get the feeling that she wasn't alone. Standing still, she tilted her head, red curls brushing the tops of her shoulders as she listened closely for any sort of sound.

Then there was something, a smooth voice, almost jovial in her ear and a single word that made her gasp and instinctively, she jammed her elbow back into the stomach of whoever was behind her. Years ago, when she had just barely turned eighteen, her father had talked her into a self defense class. He had always been overprotective of her, ever since her mother died, and Hannah had decided to humor him. The class had been informative and obviously she still remembered a few things, like the location of the solar plexus...or rather, where it should have been; she couldn't help being so short.

After making contact, Hannah sprung forward and gracelessly tripped over her own feet and the book she had dropped to the floor moments before. She crawled forward before turning over and continued to scoot herself back until she could get a better look at the stranger who had invaded her store. What she saw made her pause, although her breathing was rapid as ever, nearly gasping as she studied the man. He looked human, aside from the blackness of his eyes and the elongated, fang-like canines.

On any other day, Hannah would have thought it was a costume, that Halloween had come early, but this was hardly ordinary. “Holy shit,” she breathed, slowly getting to her feet. She was still afraid, but now slightly curious. “What are you?” Hannah took a few steps closer, “who are you? How did you...get in?”

The door had been locked, Hannah had made sure to lock it behind the guy who brought in that strange book. She looked to the floor, it was still lying there, sullied with her drops of blood, but she easily picked it up and cradled it against her chest.
Idk what's up with it I: it's kind of putting a damper on my posting schedule. And sorry for the quadruple post.

Yeah, I don't see them trying to fight over him either. Just thought I would mention it since it was in the book.

I think it will get really dangerous after 12 gets bombed because I'm sure there are people in Panem who think Katniss is just a nuisance. I could see Snow sending Peace Keepers after her too, like disguising them as ordinary citizens and having them look for her.

Yess. Even though Halloween is pretty fun. I love costume parties.

I'd die for pizza too. Let's align and share the pizza party.

I'm good with slowing things up a bit to let relationships develop. I think the posts will be a little bit shorter since our mains are going to be having conversations.
