Shu really did enjoy having Nimbus around, even its noise it made was pretty cute and calming. He was certainly trying to think that flying by himself was the best thing for him, but of course he could never forget Nimbus and would bring it with him whenever he had to go somewhere without the fear of battle. If trouble would come while he was on Nimbus, he would tell Nimbus to leave and fly on his own. Peeking out over the side of Nimbus, he watched as Kame House slowly came into view finally, feeling pretty happy to be able to see his old Master again, “Ooh! There it is! I hope he’s home…” he spoke, watching it carefully, “Does he know how to fly…? How does he leave? Swimming?” That aspect really confused Shu, but he wasn’t going to let that bother him too much considering he was going to be able to see Roshi again and be able to train with a real Master; however, if Roshi didn’t know how to fly, then he had no idea who was supposed to teach him if Takeshi didn’t want to.

T’charrl was sure trying at this point, the weight of his body certainly beginning to feel more prominent as he tried to keep up. He was getting a little behind, but he was still trying to stay positive and hopefully make it to the island. Feeling the weight of himself for what he really was, he put in some extra force into flying when Takeshi spoke to him, trying to reassure him that everything was going to be just fine. Looking up at him with a smile, he really hoped he was going to make it and that his joking was not going to be reality. Without the warm air currents, trying to fly over water was pretty difficult when everything relied on his strength at this point. This was probably the reason he wasn’t seeing very many flying animals out here like he saw on land; it was just too difficult to keep in the air when it was so dense.

Finally coming in towards the island, Shu guided Nimbus down towards it, feeling pretty happy that he was going to see Roshi again. It was certainly a long time since he was here and he did miss it, but he also remembered why he needed to be there. He needed to get better at Ki control so he could blast the bad guys, he also needed to fly by himself without Takeshi having to worry about him. Looking to Takeshi quickly, he smiled as he came in for a landing, hoping T’charrl was going to be just as good. He was still there, at least, but definitely struggling by the looks of it. Landing down on the beach, he jumped off Nimbus and let out a sigh, looking to T’charrl quickly only to see him fall on the sand rather clumsily onto his front. Tilting his head, he bounced around to T’charrl, staring at him curiously, “Are you okay, Friend T’charrl?” he asked him, bending down a little.

T’charrl had tried to land on his feet, but his wings didn’t give him a break and his weight practically snapped his knees to the side and he fell forward. Pushing slightly, he gradually crawled back up to his feet, letting out a sigh, “I-I’m okay…thank you…” That was pretty awkward and somewhat scary, seeing as how he could have easily drowned. He was already a big enough fella; he didn’t need to be dragging Takeshi or Shu down with his weight. Slowly wiping down his front, he stared at the house curiously, wondering why someone would live all the way out here. Maybe the people here were pretty good at swimming too, especially when he didn’t see anything that would allow someone to fly like Takeshi told him. Giving his wings a gentle brush, he slowly moved towards the house, feeling a little nervous already. Frowning slightly, he moved behind Takeshi, still feeling pretty tired after that flight, “I, uhh…I hope I am”, he spoke calmly, giving a nervous smile, “I hope he’ll be alright with me being here…”

The sounds of the indoors wasn’t very easy to make out, T’charrl’s antennae moving around trying to understand what was going on. It was certainly an odd sounding voice, but as Takeshi opened the door he let out a gasp, moving back a little in surprise. Definitely hoping for the best, he slowly moved in after Shu, keeping his head lowered as he tried to squeeze in the door. It was certainly odd what he was hearing, the man seemed to be having some sort of workout and having a lot of fun with it. Frowning a little, he gasped when the man spotted them, banging his head on the roof. Shaking his head quickly, he backed off a little and gave it a slow rub, staring at the man curiously. It was certainly a strange sight, but what was even stranger was the man didn’t think they would have lived.

Shu was pretty bouncy, giving Roshi a quick wave as he bounced on his toes, “Hi Master Roshi! We are alive!” he spoke quickly, looking back to T’charrl, “We have friend! Friend T’charrl. He’s a big alien! He wants to learn too after we told him about you before we got here”. Feeling pretty happy, he didn’t think he would ever see this place again and smell the weird scent once more. He hoped Roshi was alright with this, his concern being he would reject them and tell them to move on. Moving forward a little, he gave T’charrl’s claws a quick pull, “Friend is a bit big, but he is very smart and really wants to learn a lot”.
Shu was having fun in the air, feeling pretty happy now that he had Nimbus with him. He did wonder if he could take Nimbus out into space, then again maybe not considering it was a cloud and it would probably vanish away if it left the planet. He didn’t know how clouds worked or why he could sit on this particular one, but he did know that there were a lot more clouds here and they were completely different when compared to other planets. It was pretty nice and pleasant, but he still did wonder why such strange things existed and just what made up the world. He was pretty curious, but his intelligence never allowed him to think about these things and figure out what they all meant and how they happened; everything just happened for a reason, but whatever that reason he had no idea. Spinning around on his cloud, he squealed pretty happily, finding it most enjoyable that he was able to fly on his own for now if accepting a little help from Nimbus. He was sure that T’charrl would be able to manage flying, seeing as how he could feel worried when he was the only one using part of his body to fly while Takeshi was using energy and he was using a cloud. Spinning around happily, Shu soon corrected himself and looked back to Takeshi, giving him a smile, "I'll still ride Nimbus! Nimbus is my friend and is kind to help me", he spoke quickly, giving a little smile, "Why would I stop playing with Nimbus just because I can fly? That's not nice..."

T’charrl was a little worried that he wouldn’t be able to keep going like this over the water, knowing it was a lot more difficult going over water rather than land. With land, he had the warm air pushing him upwards, allowing him to fly a lot easier and be able to balance himself as well; however, going over water would be a lot more difficult because it is cold air. He would have to try extra hard to keep himself up, but he was sure he would be able to if the island wasn’t too far out. The moment they left land, he immediately felt the change and had to put in a lot more effort, his eyes staring downwards at it to make sure he wasn’t getting too low. It would probably be better to fly higher, but he really needed to concentrate and hopefully stop himself from dropping. Trying to push himself up higher, he pulled up his limbs for a moment, frowning as he stared down before slowly swaying in the air, “It’s…really deep water down there…”
T’charrl was definitely pretty nervous when it came to anything new, his mind not quite able to adapt to strange things without the support of his parents. He was fine on his planet because he had his parents to support him, but even then he got into trouble way too much and would often end up with mountains of bad luck at the worst of times. He was certainly pretty nervous when he was by himself, probably because his last excursion where he was by himself was a complete failure ending in his capture. Things went wrong all the time and with things not going all that well lately it was easy to be a little nervous over something new that sounded pretty dangerous. Staring at Takeshi, he felt a little better upon the reveal, giving him a little smile, “Really? That’s…relieving”, he spoke calmly before quickly looking back up, “I mean, I feel heavier on your planet, so flying does eventually get tiring for me and I didn’t know if that was always the case with Ki, that’s all”.

It would certainly be good to not get tired over water, to say the least. He wouldn’t want to end up falling into it because he got all tired. Unlike using Ki, flapping his wings all the time wasn’t something he had to concentrate on like waving his arms as one part of his brain kept them going; of course, that meant he would get mentally worn down with his muscles responding by getting sore and tired. Hoping they would get there sometime soon, he stared down at the ground before letting out a sigh, ascending into the air a little bit more, “So, who is this Roshi of yours, anyway? Does he really know his stuff? There isn’t anything about him I should watch out for, is there? Just things like what he prefers to be called and maybe even things that shouldn’t be mentioned? He won’t get annoyed at my voice, will he…? I-I mean, a few people find it annoying…”
T’charrl gave a glance to Takeshi, frowning a little, “I don’t think I’m holding out all that well, honestly”, he frowned, “I’m only barely holding out because I was born with it and didn’t have to inject it”. If there was one thing he was worried about, it was definitely the way he had reacted to the energy in the first place. It was as if his body had reverted into a devolved form, at least everything except his brain. While it didn’t mean he was losing resistances and anything else that advanced his kind, it still meant he was more suited for the wilds and putting his strength to the test rather than being civilised and fitting in with the rest of his kind. Running a little, he quickly took off after Takeshi and Shu, setting on their way to see this Roshi character. He wasn’t exactly nervous about this guy as he was so much for the water, not exactly knowing how large this island was.

His kind weren’t accustomed to water at all, leaving them unable to fly. That would probably be a pretty good thing about flying with Ki once they got down to it; if he ever fell in the water and couldn’t use his wings, he could use Ki to fly out of there and keep using it until they were dry again; of course, he still had fears over what could possibly happen as well if his Ki was actually too low to use, making him susceptible to going feral and changing with a hostile attempt to get more energy. There was a lot about himself that made him very afraid, including worries that he would only get worse. Staring down at the land as it all passed down below, he let out a sigh before realising Takeshi was speaking to them collectively, his head snapping up to him pretty quickly, “Uhhh…what? Oh, uhhh…maybe”, he spoke, sounding a little unsure, “I guess I could, not that I hate playing or anything, just…uhhh, w-what if I run out of energy? I can already fly, but if I got tired and had to use that Ki and then if my Ki ran out, all sorts of bad things might happen…”
T’charrl gave a little nod, frowning a little, “Yeah, I don’t know how he did it, but his body wasn’t designed to hold such power which is why you saw him like…that when he was brought back. It’s quite complicated…” It was certainly worrying when he was still like this after such a long time, but whether he got worse or better was all that mattered. He was always pretty unsteady on his feet, he just wasn’t used to them, but he just needed a little longer to learn everything and try to get used to this form of his. Feeling a little hopeless, he looked to Takeshi and gave a little smile, hoping that was going to be the case, “We’ll see. I can’t even describe how I feel, but I’m certain I’ll be able to change back eventually”. If it meant he had to become stronger to figure out how to change back, then he would go ahead and do that and make his parents proud.

Even though T’charrl was worried about himself, there was the matter that he was still pretty curious about Earth and what it held, the cloud being pretty unusual. Staring at it, he quickly looked to Takeshi and gave a little nod, smiling as if he was trying to understand what that word meant, “Ohhhhh…okay…? Plane…” he spoke calmly, thinking it all through in wonderment. He didn’t know what those things were, but the word was definitely fascinating and fun to say. He had been learning his words with Vegeta and it was pretty fun to say some of the words, especially when they weren’t in his database on his scouter. Smiling a little, he moved away from them, giving his wings a shake before spreading them out, “An island? You mean…surrounded by water?” he asked, sounding a little discouraged, “If I fall in the water, please save me”. His species were not swimmers, but of course his planet wasn’t very blue compared to this one even though it did rain a lot and pretty healthily too. He was certainly a little scared of what might be lurking in that much water, especially when he would be left flapping around on the surface.

Shu was certainly a little curious, tilting his head a little as T’charrl spoke. He definitely didn’t sound so sure about things, but he was a lot better than how he was before when he first found himself stuck like this. He was sure he would get better and possibly even stronger to the point where he wouldn’t notice the changes as much. Giving Nimbus a pat, he looked to Takeshi, giving a quick nod before giggling a little, “I wouldn’t let you fall in the water! That would be mean”, he told T’charrl, shifting a little on Nimbus, “Follow! It will be fun! Lots of training!” Pulling up into the air, he flew after Takeshi with T’charrl following behind. It would be nice to see Roshi again, but maybe he would be able to help more with their problems than Takeshi could, helping them to get battle-ready for whatever came for them.
T’charrl was certainly a little shaken upon being able to do that, but he didn’t know whether it was because of excitement or worry that he wouldn’t be able to keep up. The thought of being able to do everything they could do both made him excited and worried, but he should really try not to be worried about increasing power when he would have his friends to help him keep control. Slowly rubbing his chest orb, he looked quickly up at Takeshi again and shook his head, “Ohh no no! Not like that, not the ones you can make”, he spoke quickly, “He injected himself with my power and got big like I am now…except more muscular. He tried to blast me with it, tried to destroy the city with it, but…I absorbed it to save the city. It’s what turned me into…this, because I absorbed it and had nowhere to put it. I-I removed all of it from him! I expelled energy and the tree grew, but it’s still inside me…a-and that is what I mean by...what he tried to do to me…”

Shu stared at T’charrl, tilting his head slightly. He was a little confused over what his friend had experienced, but he didn’t sound too happy about it and was definitely rambling a lot, finding it a little sad that he was still torn over what happened to him. Shu didn’t know what the problem was, he didn’t care what people looked like and it wasn’t as if he had changed all that much, not unless there was something else bothering him. Staring at him, he frowned a little before giving a smile, patting T’charrl’s arm, “There, there! It will be okay”, he smiled, giving a brief nod, “We should go to Master Roshi now, though! He’s a nice old man”. Bouncing towards Takeshi briefly, he smiled away at the call for Nimbus, getting all excited, “Yeah! Nimbus! Niiimbuuus!!!” Shooting out from the sky, a little yellow cloud fired its way straight for Takeshi and Shu, coming to a halt just above the ground as Shu jumped on top, giving Nimbus a cuddle, “Yay! Nimbus! I missed you! I did! I was gone for so long, I didn’t mean to go for so long…”

While T’charrl was definitely a little sad and confused over what happened to him, he had to learn to move on and hopefully prevent such a thing from happening again with someone who might become as maddened with power as the General was. Letting out a sigh, he gave Shu a smile before feeling confused over the call for a Nimbus character of sorts. Looking around curiously, he was a little surprised when a bundle of fluffy cloud shot straight out of the sky, even allowing Shu to sit on top of it, “Ooohh, is this what you use to get around on your planet if you can’t fly…?” he asked, giving it a poke before he looked up to Takeshi, “Where does this Roshi live…?”
T’charrl was certainly a little concerned over his fate, but he was keeping that concern to the side for now. If he could just accept what he was and not have to worry about possible weaknesses all the time, he wouldn’t end up giving away his weaknesses to his enemies. Rubbing at the orb carefully, he gave a little nod before looking up to Takeshi again, “Can always test it sometime, maybe with you or Shu hitting them and seeing something happens? I might be able to remove that weakness if it is one”. He was certainly trying to be confident; it wasn’t his fault that he was a little nervous about everything concerning his new form. Maybe someday, he’ll be able to finally return to his normal form with this one merely being accessible to him, but it certainly was a little out there. Slowly standing up, he held his claws close to his chest, staring down at himself before looking to Takeshi again, tilting his head a little, “Huh? Really? Well…I wouldn’t have been able to do it without guidance”, he smiled, looking down at himself, “Blasting things sound pretty…interest, though. I guess that’s what the General tried to do to me”.

Shu was certainly finding this to be pretty good fun and was certainly trying to keep things fun for T’charrl, especially when he seemed a little down somehow. Maybe he didn’t like difficult challenges or maybe he was doubting himself a lot, but either way he was certainly perking up and they would be able to train together and get stronger together. Looking to Takeshi, he smiled away at him, giggling when his hair was all ruffled up, “I guess so! I kind of know, but I kind of don’t know too and it is hard when it all goes boom in my hands”, he spoke quickly, looking down at his hands, “It makes my hands feel all burning and stuff…” Certainly feeling confused to whether he really wanted to do attacks, he tilted his head at the mention of Roshi, curious to what he was trying to say before smiling, “Really? You think so? That would be really neat!” he squeaked, giving Takeshi’s hand a quick pull, “We should see him! Do you think he’ll like Friend T’charrl? Is he afraid of aliens? I hope not, that wouldn’t be very good for Friend T’charrl…ooh! Will I get Nimbus??”
T’charrl didn’t know fully whether it was Ki or just him managing to do something completely strange and different. He wasn’t really aware that his strange orb was glowing, but he was getting that warm feeling that felt as if it could possibly be Ki. Watching as Takeshi focused on him as if to check it out, he looked down at himself quickly, tilting his head a little to see his orb. He couldn’t really see it properly a lot of the time when he stood up, walking with a hunch tends to make it difficult to look at. Looking back up to Takeshi quickly, he stared at him before gasping when he was poked, giving his head a quick scratch, smiling at him, “Really? That was…really hard”, he spoke, rubbing at his orb a little, “I still don’t know what these are supposed to mean or what they do; I just hope they’re really a good thing”. One of his worries was whether they were in fact weak spots and unfortunately, he had quite a lot of them on his body. If he was going to get stronger and they were linked to his energy, then there was always the possibility of them getting more prominent and his weaknesses would become greater still.

Shu felt pretty happy that T’charrl had managed to do it, giving a little bounce around when Takeshi confirmed it was Ki. This was pretty great, almost exciting to discover something new, “Oooohhh, your people can use Ki, it means! That’s really good, right?” he spoke quickly, scooting closer to T’charrl and Takeshi, “What should we learn now? I mean not learn for me, but for Friend T’charrl…oooh, but I need to know how to do it too because I can’t remember…” He did have a few problems regarding his powers, but he didn’t know whether he should regard it as learning what he had already been told or if it was learning something new when he had already forgotten how to do it. He was certainly confused, but he was still willing to go ahead and hopefully be able to fly without Nimbus; he should really call Nimbus and play with it sometime soon, but for now he thought it might be best to learn with T’charrl, “Will we try to blast things? Will we?”
Shu felt pretty proud of himself, happy that he could regain his ability to find his Ki. All he needed to do was try and actually control its levels, preventing it from going all over the place and hurting himself. He felt fairly content for now, but he still had a long way to go before he was going to be able to fire off attacks without hurting himself. T’charrl was trying hard to bring out his own Ki, but it didn’t seem to be going quite as planned. With something about other energies, Shu stared at T’charrl with curiosity to what he might be feeling other than what he had himself. Maybe it was because he didn’t know much about Ki or because he had a different kind of energy inside him that made it difficult to pick apart the other ones; either way, he seemed to be struggling with it. Tilting his head a little, he slowly moved away from T’charrl, thinking it might help him if he wasn’t feeling his energy instead. If T’charrl could take energy from other people and use it, then that meant he did have Ki somewhere. It wouldn’t make sense trying to mix different things together; even Shu knew you couldn’t mix two different things to get something the same.

T’charrl definitely had trouble, but he really wanted to learn how to find it. He must have it somewhere, seeing as how they had faith that he could do it. Keeping his eyes closed and trying to concentrate, he frowned a little as his antennae twitching, “There’s a lot in my centre, like…everything”, he sighed, still trying to divide everything up, “I’ve never had to try and find my own energy before”. He was always looking at other people’s energy and just trying to keep the power within him under control, never looking for his own centre and what made him who he is. It was awfully difficult, but he had to try, “I know what meditation is…but, I’ve never looked at my own energy before…” It had to be somewhere; he just had to push passed the mass that was his own vicious energy. Lowering his head a little, he looked like he was fair struggling; however, after a few moments the large orb in his chest glowed a little brighter, “…I think I have it…I think! Do I? Can you tell?”
Shu was definitely trying hard and hoping he could find something in him again that wasn’t going to end up blowing up in his face. He was definitely a little curious to whether he was able to keep it at bay again like he used to be able to, whether his Ki was too strong for him to handle. He never knew the reason why it was so strong all the time, its control was often completely out of his hands and it was something he was never allowed to train when he was confined away, probably for safety reasons regarding the scientists. He was definitely trying to find control, but he was still worried about the worst happening and it was probably not the best place to let it all fly as it were. Not really aware of T’charrl looking at him, he continued to try and find his energy and keep it at a reasonable level, feeling it out while also trying to not expose it, “I have it! I have it, kinda”, he spoke quickly, hoping he could keep it down as well, “I don’t want to go flying up into the air…”

T’charrl yelped when the stick was thrown at him, startling him a little as he quickly shifted himself again, trying to get back into position so he could keep trying. He didn’t really know what he was supposed to look for and Shu getting it pretty quickly made him feel a little behind. Shu had probably been trained before, but it still made him feel slow and a little confused to what he was looking for. It was definitely pretty difficult when it felt as if he had several different energy pools and finding the right one was definitely difficult. He could find his own special energy, but he was stuck and finding it difficult to keep his mind off it, “Why are you telling me ‘here’ when I’m not supposed to look anywhere…” he sighed, feeling a little defeated; it was definitely there somewhere, but he couldn’t pull it out when he had a lot of different types of energy to work around too, “How do I do this when it feels like a maze…? I’m just finding things I’ve never identified before last time I did this…but, how do I know which one? Am I picking up yours instead?”
