Viral didn’t know how he was supposed to feel about being given medication, feeling as if it was a quick fix problem when otherwise there was no other way to fix. It was a little depressing, knowing the only guy who was supposed to know how to fix him didn’t know how to do it. Medication was a quick fix to a much bigger problem, all while coming with worrying side effects that he probably should question him about. Staring at the prescription, he frowned as he looked to Ikura, letting out a sigh, “You say that, but if there was a problem you couldn’t fix, wouldn’t you want it done with quickly and be on with your life?” he asked him a little rhetorically, “Isn’t that what doctors do, anyway…and I’m sure normal people are the same”. It might had helped if he didn’t see frowns or hear anger when the other two tried to deal with him, them both getting pretty fed up fast.

Having a bit of a hard time keeping his head in any positive light, he grumbled at the thought of being fed what was essentially baby’s food instead; although, he still didn’t know how he’d feel about that. He had sharp teeth and should had been able to use them, but his frustrating emotions and mental breakdowns left him being unable to eat anything other than mush. Frowning a little, he gave a glance at the thought of a drink possibly helping as that became a little too tempting. Going back to drinking would probably only disappoint everyone, plus the medicine probably wouldn’t work anyway with it. Grumbling, he looked back to Ikura as he made his way towards the door, “Great…guess I’ll maybe see you whenever…or something. Maybe I’ll not end up killing everyone by the end of the day with this stuff…”

Shu was happily fed now, feeling satisfied with his first meal upon arriving on Earth that was meaningful, knowing he was going to have fun with Takeshi and T’charrl now with training on their way. He had waited a long time for this, even when he was first freed they didn’t get time to train with everything collapsing on them all the time. It was hard, but now they were going to get some peace and hopefully he’ll be able to get his Ki under his control again; not that he had too much control before leaving Earth. He was feeling pretty bouncy and willing to get on with it, rolling around and bouncing around everywhere all around close to the trees. He was pretty excited, eventually stopping when Takeshi finally gave them the plan. Nodding enthusiastically, he smiled away and bounced on his feet, “Ooh! Maybe flying? Ooh! Whatabout attacks? No wait, isn’t sensing it important too? Ooohhh…”

T’charrl didn’t know where to start with all of this or what he was supposed to do, especially when this would be his first ever lesson regarding Ki. He didn’t know whether he could do it or if it was going to be the same as his other abilities, but despite that he was willing to learn and hopefully learn how to control his other ones too. Staring at all the trees in fascination for a moment, he quickly looked back to Takeshi when his question got pretty important, all of it regarding what he would teach first. Looking to Shu, it sounded as if he didn’t have much of a clue either, “What is the most important one to learn? I mean, just because I have wings doesn’t mean I shouldn’t think flying is important. How do you control Ki, anyway? Movement? Mental thought? Physical force?”

Takeshi smiled exasperatedly, neither T'charrl or Shu being able to make up their minds. Drat, he wasn't sure where they should begin either, that was a bummer. "Well... I guess it's all important. You'll need them for all sorts of things, not just for fighting even." Flight especially had plenty of benefits outside of combat, as did sensing energy. Ki control and using that for attacks was kind of only a combat oriented skill, but certainly nice to be able to use. Lifting a finger he tapped at his chin thoughtfully, humming as he mulled over where to begin. After a moment's contemplation Takeshi smiled, smacking his fist into an open hand, "Aha! So we'll start with flying, since that takes a lot of control! Everything else will fall in place after we get that down." The discipline that it took to fly, initially anyways, made doing the other stuff much easier. What wasn't going to be easy, however, was explaining everything to these two. Man, if he had his copy of Gohan's book on hand he could teach right from that, but right now he didn't even know where it had gotten off to.

"Ki control is... Well it's kind of a combination I guess. There's sort of three points you need to focus on when trying to use your Ki," Takeshi explained, holding up three fingers. "First, you need to be able to feel your own energy. If you pay close enough attention you can actually notice your Ki inside of you, that would be the first step. After that you need to recognize how it flows and how to direct the flow, channeling it to do what you want. And the final step is bringing it out to use for things like flight or attacks. That's pretty much the gist of it anyways." Yeah, that book would definitely help them some. While he knew perfectly well how to do it he wasn't so good at explaining it at all. He just knew how to do it, but Takeshi wasn't exactly certain how to explain the sensations he was talking about. "When you use your Ki you'll be able to feel it... You know? It gives you this kind of tingling feeling when it moves around. After a while you don't notice when you do it, but I guess that's the best way to describe it."

So then, to begin training they might as well start with the very basics. Just because they wanted to focus on flight didn't mean they would be going right into it, they needed to be able to sense their own energy after all. Great, that meant he had to figure out a way to explain the process to them, easier said than done. Takeshi folded his arms over his chest as his brow furrowed, looking down at the ground as he mulled it over a bit. Even now he could feel his own Ki, it was just... There. But saying that wasn't going to teach them a thing, they needed more than just that to go off of. "Okay... So feeling your own Ki. If you focus on yourself enough you can sort of notice it's there, inside of you. To find it you're really going to need to pay attention. Sort of... Drown everything else out and focus just on you and you'll notice it's there." Ah, but how were they supposed to focus, he asked himself. Sniffling he looked around, scratching at his head before sighing. There was one way to concentrate like that, but it was so silly. Given no other option however they should try it. At least no one was around to watch them being dorks doing this. Takeshi sat himself down on the ground, flushing slightly as he crossed his legs. "We're going to... Meditate I guess? Just sit down, relax and close your eyes, focus on yourself. I'll watch to see if you two notice anything, okay?"

Shu was pretty happy to get involved, but he didn’t have a clue to what was going to be the best course of action for him in regards to what he should learn again first. If he could get his energy control under, he’d be good to go with flying and shooting off Ki without having to worry about others around him or hurting someone. He would have no problem when he could get a hold of it once more, his hopes for the future resting on this training so that maybe he could finally fight alongside his brother and not end up blasting him accidentally. Looking to T’charrl, he smiled happily before back to Takeshi, bouncing on his feet lightly, “Fly, fly, fly! I like flying! Kinda”, he spoke quickly, pressing his fingers together for a moment, “I mean I like it but I still get scared that I’m going to hurt myself which happens a lot…”

T’charrl really was interested in this sort of thing, his mind not quite adapting to the idea of it all quite yet. He really hoped he could learn it and find out whether he could adapt it with his own abilities. There was a lot he didn’t know about his powers, his Great-Grandmother only taught him about speaking to the trees through the energy and how to keep it under control. There was a time when he did learn how to project it, but it proved to be destructive and he was discouraged from using it too much. Speaking to the dead was pretty normal, otherwise he wouldn’t had been able to talk to her at all, but considering their reactions to his ability to do this it was obvious it wasn’t part of Ki. Feeling a little nervous, he held his claws all together, giving a little nod each time Takeshi explained something. Looking down at himself, he tried to find the Ki inside himself, but really he didn’t know what he was looking for.

Shu was pretty enthusiastic, giving a quick nod as he raised his hands, he flexed his fingers. He could feel his Ki, sort of. He didn’t know whether it was his Ki, but it was definitely something he was familiar with, whether it was just tingling or itchiness. Scratching as his arms quickly, he tilted his head a little before looking down at himself, “I am paying attention, sort of”, he spoke, giving a little smile, “I hope I don’t go flying into the air again, though…” Quickly sitting down when Takeshi did, he smiled as he stared at him only realising he should really be doing what he was told. Closing his eyes, he let out a sigh as he tried to relax himself, hoping he could focus for once and not end up blasting off into the sky.

T’charrl thought that all sounded similar to what he did to keep his own powers in check, frowning a little when it was left awfully vague. He would have to try and divide Ki and his own powers, slowly sitting down as well. He moved his arms close to him, closing his eyes all while hoping he could find this centre with this energy. He didn’t quite know what he was supposed to be looking for, but he did remember when he was healing their wounds they gave their energy to him. It was probably the same as that, but trying to remember that feeling was a little tougher. Lowering his head, he tried to focus his mind to that instance. He wasn’t sure whether he was getting anything, but he did have hopes that he could do it. Lightly sighing, his antennae twitched as he slowly lowered his head some more, “…I can feel my own power, but my energy…it’s difficult…” he muttered, shaking his head slowly, “How do you pull it to the surface like you can…?” Pushing his powers down was another thing, but doing that while his own energy was low would probably end with him fainting. Feeling a little worried, he opened his eye a little to give a glance to Shu, just to see if he was still sitting there.

"Glad you like flying buddy, but we're going to wait to do that. You've got to learn the basics before anything else." Albeit flying was pretty basic, but would be intense to master for someone who didn't know how to properly channel their Ki in the first place. After all, flying was all about channeling and extended your Ki in small amounts to move yourself along, simple in theory but hard to actually do. Eh, at least Shu had the enthusiasm to learn, that was good. T'charrl looked like he was pretty nervous even though he shouldn't be. Sure, his energy wasn't exactly Ki, but it was close enough. Takeshi figured the same principles applied here as it did with their friend's power, the same basic ideas should work either way. Alright then, now to focus on the first step. Since that involved just feeling your own energy the Saiyan opted for meditation, hoping doing that would help block out distractions and let them get a good idea of where their Ki was. Really not his style, it was too lazy as far as training was concerned, but it would have to do.

"As long as you don't force Ki out you'll be fine," Takeshi remarked, closing his eyes with a faint smile, "If you find it just sit there, I'll stop both of you after a bit." Breathing in through his nose and exhaling through his mouth he began to settle himself down, trying to meditate himself to give proof of concept. Albeit it was pretty hard for either of them to know if he was actually meditating or just falling asleep on the spot, the latter perfectly viable because of lack of sleep. They seemed to be getting it, nothing was said for a short while and no one moved from their spot. Then T'charrl had a question, and when Takeshi looked over to answer he was staring at Shu, possibly trying to figure out what to do. Sighing softly he reached down and grabbed a small stick, tossing it at the Kaesstrian's leg to get him to stop staring. "We're not worried about pulling it to the surface yet, right?" he mused, smiling as he folded his arms over his chest, "To feel your energy you need to focus in on yourself, nothing else. When you do it you'll be able to find it without a second thought." Finding it made you perfectly aware of your own Ki, and it let you see how much you had left and enabled you to be a little smarter about use. Funny thing coming from someone who blasted attacks erratically in most fights. Placing a hand on his chest Takeshi continued, "Pay attention to right here, that's where the mass of your Ki will be. Like I said, it's kind of a tingling feeling, and warm. And I guess... You can just tell it's energy. It feels... Alive in a way."

Shu was definitely trying hard and hoping he could find something in him again that wasn’t going to end up blowing up in his face. He was definitely a little curious to whether he was able to keep it at bay again like he used to be able to, whether his Ki was too strong for him to handle. He never knew the reason why it was so strong all the time, its control was often completely out of his hands and it was something he was never allowed to train when he was confined away, probably for safety reasons regarding the scientists. He was definitely trying to find control, but he was still worried about the worst happening and it was probably not the best place to let it all fly as it were. Not really aware of T’charrl looking at him, he continued to try and find his energy and keep it at a reasonable level, feeling it out while also trying to not expose it, “I have it! I have it, kinda”, he spoke quickly, hoping he could keep it down as well, “I don’t want to go flying up into the air…”

T’charrl yelped when the stick was thrown at him, startling him a little as he quickly shifted himself again, trying to get back into position so he could keep trying. He didn’t really know what he was supposed to look for and Shu getting it pretty quickly made him feel a little behind. Shu had probably been trained before, but it still made him feel slow and a little confused to what he was looking for. It was definitely pretty difficult when it felt as if he had several different energy pools and finding the right one was definitely difficult. He could find his own special energy, but he was stuck and finding it difficult to keep his mind off it, “Why are you telling me ‘here’ when I’m not supposed to look anywhere…” he sighed, feeling a little defeated; it was definitely there somewhere, but he couldn’t pull it out when he had a lot of different types of energy to work around too, “How do I do this when it feels like a maze…? I’m just finding things I’ve never identified before last time I did this…but, how do I know which one? Am I picking up yours instead?”

"Good job Shu! And as long as you're careful you won't go flying. At least not yet." Awesome, his younger brother was getting it pretty quickly. Takeshi would hope so, they had done this before after all, albeit quite a while ago. Considering Shu still did use energy attacks in spite of hardly understand it he hoped that gave the little guy something of an idea what he was looking for. T'charrl on the other hand, unfortunately, looked to be struggling a bit more. Takeshi might have overreacted a bit when he saw the Kaesstrian staring at Shu, thinking he wasn't even trying himself and this throwing a twig at him. When he heard his friend's retort the Saiyan grinned sheepishly, rubbing at his neck. "Ah... Right, my bad. Well you want to look in your center, that's where most of your Ki is. When we get to moving Ki around that's where you'll draw from, but we're getting ahead of ourselves. Look for it there, and when you find it there it will be easy to follow it elsewhere." It was kind of like a map in a way, only you had to find the starting point to even begin getting anywhere. Once you had that map filled it was a simple task to follow Ki routes, at least he thought so. Tilting his head a bit Takeshi considered T'charrl's words, trying to think how best to answer.

"Let's see... Well you're probably finding new energy because you've got more now, that would be my guess. And I don't know if you're picking up on my energy or not. Everyone's energy has a distinct feeling, it's kind of like... Their face, or their voice. You see or hear that and you know it's them, right? Well same thing with energy. I don't know how else to say it other than everyone has a unique energy." Takeshi could feel Shu's right now, and to a lesser extent T'charrl's, and both were quite different. That didn't apply just because of the species gap though, it held true for everyone. Even his own and Shu's, despite both being half-Saiyans and brothers were different. Smiling apologetically at T'charrl he bowed his head a bit, "Sorry I'm not being very clear, this is tricky to teach. Just try to focus on yourself, yeah? Meditating is kind of like ignoring things around you and focusing in on yourself. If you notice something in you, something that feels... Well, like energy. Alive, moving, warm, then that's Ki. Or whatever we should call your energy." Probably safe to just call it Ki, from what he'd seen and understood it was basically just the same thing, only in a different form.

Shu felt pretty proud of himself, happy that he could regain his ability to find his Ki. All he needed to do was try and actually control its levels, preventing it from going all over the place and hurting himself. He felt fairly content for now, but he still had a long way to go before he was going to be able to fire off attacks without hurting himself. T’charrl was trying hard to bring out his own Ki, but it didn’t seem to be going quite as planned. With something about other energies, Shu stared at T’charrl with curiosity to what he might be feeling other than what he had himself. Maybe it was because he didn’t know much about Ki or because he had a different kind of energy inside him that made it difficult to pick apart the other ones; either way, he seemed to be struggling with it. Tilting his head a little, he slowly moved away from T’charrl, thinking it might help him if he wasn’t feeling his energy instead. If T’charrl could take energy from other people and use it, then that meant he did have Ki somewhere. It wouldn’t make sense trying to mix different things together; even Shu knew you couldn’t mix two different things to get something the same.

T’charrl definitely had trouble, but he really wanted to learn how to find it. He must have it somewhere, seeing as how they had faith that he could do it. Keeping his eyes closed and trying to concentrate, he frowned a little as his antennae twitching, “There’s a lot in my centre, like…everything”, he sighed, still trying to divide everything up, “I’ve never had to try and find my own energy before”. He was always looking at other people’s energy and just trying to keep the power within him under control, never looking for his own centre and what made him who he is. It was awfully difficult, but he had to try, “I know what meditation is…but, I’ve never looked at my own energy before…” It had to be somewhere; he just had to push passed the mass that was his own vicious energy. Lowering his head a little, he looked like he was fair struggling; however, after a few moments the large orb in his chest glowed a little brighter, “…I think I have it…I think! Do I? Can you tell?”

"Hey, it's not easy T'charrl, but don't give up. I know you'll be able to find it!" Takeshi urged, smiling hopefully, "Just try to feel it out, that's all." Seeing as that was the best explanation he could give the rest fell to the Kaesstrian to do. He might ask Shu for some help if he wasn't a touch skeptical with how his brother might explain things. The little guy struggled sometimes with normal talk, let alone trying to explain a concept of Ki control. Since his sibling had it down now they only had to help their friend achieve it, and they could take as long as need be. Takeshi had figured it would take all day at least for them to find it, and yet Shu had it within fifteen minutes. Granted he did have training before, but it had been a while and was still a nice feat on his part. T'charrl on the other hand as he said himself was completely new to the entire deal. Nonetheless there was plenty of confidence he'd find what he was looking for, it was only a matter of searching. Letting a comfortable silence envelop the group while T'charrl worked a couple moments passed, and a few more, and there was no visible progress. Then a faint but discernible sign that something was happening caught the Saiyan's eye, and he watched curiously as the orb in T'charrl's chest began to pulse.

Hm, but was that the right thing? If the energy was pulsing then surely something had to be going on. Takeshi smiled cheerfully for his friend, nodding his head, "I think you do. Hang on, let me see." The only way he could really check was compare the feeling of T'charrl's energy to what his friend was feeling himself. Closing his eyes the older boy focused on the Kaesstrian, feeling out for the energy within him. Finding it was easy enough, and what's more he noticed it was fluctuating slightly. Hm, maybe it had to be raised for T'charrl to sense it himself, nothing wrong with that. Unlike their energy T'charrl's was a little more... How to put it, primal. It certainly wasn't Saiyan or human Ki, but it was close enough that he could recognize it. Opening his eyes and beaming Takeshi inched closer to his friend, chuckling as he reached out and poked T'charrl in the forehead with his fore and middle fingers. "You got it! See, that wasn't so hard now was it?"

T’charrl didn’t know fully whether it was Ki or just him managing to do something completely strange and different. He wasn’t really aware that his strange orb was glowing, but he was getting that warm feeling that felt as if it could possibly be Ki. Watching as Takeshi focused on him as if to check it out, he looked down at himself quickly, tilting his head a little to see his orb. He couldn’t really see it properly a lot of the time when he stood up, walking with a hunch tends to make it difficult to look at. Looking back up to Takeshi quickly, he stared at him before gasping when he was poked, giving his head a quick scratch, smiling at him, “Really? That was…really hard”, he spoke, rubbing at his orb a little, “I still don’t know what these are supposed to mean or what they do; I just hope they’re really a good thing”. One of his worries was whether they were in fact weak spots and unfortunately, he had quite a lot of them on his body. If he was going to get stronger and they were linked to his energy, then there was always the possibility of them getting more prominent and his weaknesses would become greater still.

Shu felt pretty happy that T’charrl had managed to do it, giving a little bounce around when Takeshi confirmed it was Ki. This was pretty great, almost exciting to discover something new, “Oooohhh, your people can use Ki, it means! That’s really good, right?” he spoke quickly, scooting closer to T’charrl and Takeshi, “What should we learn now? I mean not learn for me, but for Friend T’charrl…oooh, but I need to know how to do it too because I can’t remember…” He did have a few problems regarding his powers, but he didn’t know whether he should regard it as learning what he had already been told or if it was learning something new when he had already forgotten how to do it. He was certainly confused, but he was still willing to go ahead and hopefully be able to fly without Nimbus; he should really call Nimbus and play with it sometime soon, but for now he thought it might be best to learn with T’charrl, “Will we try to blast things? Will we?”

Takeshi shrugged his shoulders, not quite sure about the orbs either. All he knew was T'charrl had definitely found his own energy, meaning both he and Shu had succeeded in step one of the training. They had gotten it awfully quick, he was almost hopeful they'd completely get it down just today and be able to start sparring come tomorrow. Maybe that was being a tad too optimistic, after all the first step was the easiest by far. "Well they don't seem to be hurting you in any way, so I don't imagine they're bad," the Saiyan pointed out, nodding as he crossed his arms over his chest. "And for something that was really hard you guys got it quick. I'm beginning to wonder if you even need me to teach you." Hm... Now that he thought about it there was someone else that they could go to for training. Master Roshi ought to be out on his island still, and it wasn't too far a flight from where they were now.

Shu was certainly enthusiastic about all of this, pretty glad to be getting use of his Ki again. Good, they were happy to be training, hopefully that meant they'd put up with his sub-par teaching skills. Then again, maybe they wouldn't have to. "Blasting things is last Shu, you're getting ahead of yourself," Takeshi said, ruffling his brother's hair, "We still need to learn how to channel your Ki before you use it for anything. And I might have an idea of how we can get your training done even quicker." After all, it made sense to have someone who'd taught goodness knows how many students do this aside from some kid who had a vague idea. Smirking at Shu knowingly Takeshi hopped up onto his feet, pointing off in the direction of the sea. "Remember old man Roshi? I bet we can get him to train you guys in no time! Plus he probably has some more neat tricks he can teach you too! Want to go pay him a visit?"

T’charrl was certainly a little concerned over his fate, but he was keeping that concern to the side for now. If he could just accept what he was and not have to worry about possible weaknesses all the time, he wouldn’t end up giving away his weaknesses to his enemies. Rubbing at the orb carefully, he gave a little nod before looking up to Takeshi again, “Can always test it sometime, maybe with you or Shu hitting them and seeing something happens? I might be able to remove that weakness if it is one”. He was certainly trying to be confident; it wasn’t his fault that he was a little nervous about everything concerning his new form. Maybe someday, he’ll be able to finally return to his normal form with this one merely being accessible to him, but it certainly was a little out there. Slowly standing up, he held his claws close to his chest, staring down at himself before looking to Takeshi again, tilting his head a little, “Huh? Really? Well…I wouldn’t have been able to do it without guidance”, he smiled, looking down at himself, “Blasting things sound pretty…interest, though. I guess that’s what the General tried to do to me”.

Shu was certainly finding this to be pretty good fun and was certainly trying to keep things fun for T’charrl, especially when he seemed a little down somehow. Maybe he didn’t like difficult challenges or maybe he was doubting himself a lot, but either way he was certainly perking up and they would be able to train together and get stronger together. Looking to Takeshi, he smiled away at him, giggling when his hair was all ruffled up, “I guess so! I kind of know, but I kind of don’t know too and it is hard when it all goes boom in my hands”, he spoke quickly, looking down at his hands, “It makes my hands feel all burning and stuff…” Certainly feeling confused to whether he really wanted to do attacks, he tilted his head at the mention of Roshi, curious to what he was trying to say before smiling, “Really? You think so? That would be really neat!” he squeaked, giving Takeshi’s hand a quick pull, “We should see him! Do you think he’ll like Friend T’charrl? Is he afraid of aliens? I hope not, that wouldn’t be very good for Friend T’charrl…ooh! Will I get Nimbus??”

Takeshi grinned sheepishly at the compliment, chuckling and rubbing at his nose. "Well... It was no big deal... Teaching you guys is pretty easy, you're good at it." Hah, so he did manage to instruct them, it was hard not to get a big head over that. He couldn't wait to tell Yumi and Vegeta later and see what they had to say. Turns out Vegeta wasn't the only one who could teach people things! The mention of the General piqued his interest, he hadn't been at the fight after all and wasn't aware of what had happened. "So the General could use energy attacks...? Huh... Weird, considering I didn't really sense power in him before. Odd that he'd be able to master it so quickly." Curious, he couldn't fathom how in the world that creep had managed to master Ki attacks in literally a day. Even if the Kaesstrian had suppressed his energy Takeshi would still have been able to sense enough to gauge some kind of strength. That was a puzzle for another day though, he couldn't be bothered with it right now. They had much more important matters to attend to after all!

Right, so to finish their training a little help was going to be needed. Much as Takeshi wanted to think he could do it all he wasn't totally arrogant, he knew it was a little beyond him. That old pervert Roshi on the other hand, he'd taught who knows how many pupils over the years. Heck, he'd been the one to first teach Shu, so re-teaching him shouldn't be a problem at all. Grinning at his brother and friend cheerfully the older boy pointed towards the Kame House, intending on leaving right then and there. "Roshi will teach you two in no time! Then we can focus on some real training after that!" Sparring and whatnot, and with flight and Ki involved instead of regular old martial arts. Not that there was anything wrong with that, but when all your enemies could blow apart a planet it was handy to know some Ki of your own. Blinking as his hand was grabbed and pulled Takeshi stumbled a bit, smirking amused at Shu. "He'll like T'charrl, don't worry. The guy's been around a long while, he's made friends with all kinds of people!" The old hermit might be a little surprised at first, but reason told him Roshi would have no issue with the Kaesstrian. "If you want Nimbus then call him, I think that's how it works since it's yours after all. Just do it like this..." he added, cupping his hands around his mouth before shouting loudly, "Niiiiiiiiimbus!"

T’charrl was certainly a little shaken upon being able to do that, but he didn’t know whether it was because of excitement or worry that he wouldn’t be able to keep up. The thought of being able to do everything they could do both made him excited and worried, but he should really try not to be worried about increasing power when he would have his friends to help him keep control. Slowly rubbing his chest orb, he looked quickly up at Takeshi again and shook his head, “Ohh no no! Not like that, not the ones you can make”, he spoke quickly, “He injected himself with my power and got big like I am now…except more muscular. He tried to blast me with it, tried to destroy the city with it, but…I absorbed it to save the city. It’s what turned me into…this, because I absorbed it and had nowhere to put it. I-I removed all of it from him! I expelled energy and the tree grew, but it’s still inside me…a-and that is what I mean by...what he tried to do to me…”

Shu stared at T’charrl, tilting his head slightly. He was a little confused over what his friend had experienced, but he didn’t sound too happy about it and was definitely rambling a lot, finding it a little sad that he was still torn over what happened to him. Shu didn’t know what the problem was, he didn’t care what people looked like and it wasn’t as if he had changed all that much, not unless there was something else bothering him. Staring at him, he frowned a little before giving a smile, patting T’charrl’s arm, “There, there! It will be okay”, he smiled, giving a brief nod, “We should go to Master Roshi now, though! He’s a nice old man”. Bouncing towards Takeshi briefly, he smiled away at the call for Nimbus, getting all excited, “Yeah! Nimbus! Niiimbuuus!!!” Shooting out from the sky, a little yellow cloud fired its way straight for Takeshi and Shu, coming to a halt just above the ground as Shu jumped on top, giving Nimbus a cuddle, “Yay! Nimbus! I missed you! I did! I was gone for so long, I didn’t mean to go for so long…”

While T’charrl was definitely a little sad and confused over what happened to him, he had to learn to move on and hopefully prevent such a thing from happening again with someone who might become as maddened with power as the General was. Letting out a sigh, he gave Shu a smile before feeling confused over the call for a Nimbus character of sorts. Looking around curiously, he was a little surprised when a bundle of fluffy cloud shot straight out of the sky, even allowing Shu to sit on top of it, “Ooohh, is this what you use to get around on your planet if you can’t fly…?” he asked, giving it a poke before he looked up to Takeshi, “Where does this Roshi live…?”

"He... Injected himself with power? Weird..." Could you even do that? Apparently so, but Takeshi had no clue how. Ki wasn't really a thing, and it certainly couldn't be bottled. Yet if T'charrl had that same energy in him now it was awfully similar. Yet another thing to ask Vegeta about, if he remembered to that was. In any case T'charrl didn't sound very thrilled with it at all, definitely upset over the whole thing that had been done to him. Really who could blame him, his entire being had changed because of the energy he'd absorbed. It was one thing for them to change, they reverted back every time, including Shu. For over a week now T'charrl had been like this however and would be stuck the same way indefinitely, until they figured out a solution at least. Sharing in his brother's sympathy Takeshi nodded his head, smiling a bit, "Things are going to be fine. We'll figure things out in no time and you'll be back to your old self before you know it." With all the brilliant people around now surely they'd have some kind of solution, and if not they could always try some unorthodox things. After all, if the energy had changed him then maybe taking it away would change him back, yeah? Or that could kill him, that would be bad.

With Nimbus newly arrived, and Shu doting over the little puff, they were prepared to get going. Odd the little guy was being so affectionate over some cloud, but hey, to each their own. "Only Shu uses it, since it's his. A lot of other people use planes and stuff," Takeshi explained. T'charrl would learn soon enough what those were, especially if they ended up going into town. Man, there was still the matter of remodeling the house to deal with, meaning they couldn't spend all their time here out at Roshi's. Then again if they were leaving Earth so soon should they even bother with remodeling just yet? Nah, now that he thought about it the whole process seemed pretty silly to undertake just yet. Right, then they were going to focus on training! "Roshi lives out on an island, over in that direction," Takeshi pointed yet again, "It's not that far off really, we can be there in twenty minutes tops!" And the old man would be ready to train them, hopefully. Provided he didn't have his head buried in some magazine, or the sand, they should be good to start right when they arrived. Rising up into the air the Saiyan chuckled excitedly, turning to wave at the others before darting off, yelling back at them, "Come along guys!"

T’charrl gave a little nod, frowning a little, “Yeah, I don’t know how he did it, but his body wasn’t designed to hold such power which is why you saw him like…that when he was brought back. It’s quite complicated…” It was certainly worrying when he was still like this after such a long time, but whether he got worse or better was all that mattered. He was always pretty unsteady on his feet, he just wasn’t used to them, but he just needed a little longer to learn everything and try to get used to this form of his. Feeling a little hopeless, he looked to Takeshi and gave a little smile, hoping that was going to be the case, “We’ll see. I can’t even describe how I feel, but I’m certain I’ll be able to change back eventually”. If it meant he had to become stronger to figure out how to change back, then he would go ahead and do that and make his parents proud.

Even though T’charrl was worried about himself, there was the matter that he was still pretty curious about Earth and what it held, the cloud being pretty unusual. Staring at it, he quickly looked to Takeshi and gave a little nod, smiling as if he was trying to understand what that word meant, “Ohhhhh…okay…? Plane…” he spoke calmly, thinking it all through in wonderment. He didn’t know what those things were, but the word was definitely fascinating and fun to say. He had been learning his words with Vegeta and it was pretty fun to say some of the words, especially when they weren’t in his database on his scouter. Smiling a little, he moved away from them, giving his wings a shake before spreading them out, “An island? You mean…surrounded by water?” he asked, sounding a little discouraged, “If I fall in the water, please save me”. His species were not swimmers, but of course his planet wasn’t very blue compared to this one even though it did rain a lot and pretty healthily too. He was certainly a little scared of what might be lurking in that much water, especially when he would be left flapping around on the surface.

Shu was certainly a little curious, tilting his head a little as T’charrl spoke. He definitely didn’t sound so sure about things, but he was a lot better than how he was before when he first found himself stuck like this. He was sure he would get better and possibly even stronger to the point where he wouldn’t notice the changes as much. Giving Nimbus a pat, he looked to Takeshi, giving a quick nod before giggling a little, “I wouldn’t let you fall in the water! That would be mean”, he told T’charrl, shifting a little on Nimbus, “Follow! It will be fun! Lots of training!” Pulling up into the air, he flew after Takeshi with T’charrl following behind. It would be nice to see Roshi again, but maybe he would be able to help more with their problems than Takeshi could, helping them to get battle-ready for whatever came for them.

That business with the general was well beyond Takeshi's understanding. He knew the easy stuff when it came to Ki, not how it actually changed people and all that. He was pretty sure he'd read it in Gohan's book at one point but had been utterly incapable of understanding a word of it, and the same would likely hold true still. "You're holding up a heck of a lot better than that guy, guess you're loads stronger than he ever was," Takeshi mused, smiling as he walked down the field a bit. Now off to Roshi's, he could hardly believe he was excited to see the lecherous old man. Albeit in that guys defense he'd never really done them any wrong, he just happened to like women, a lot. Chuckling as he considered taking Yumi along for the ride he glanced over his shoulder at T'charrl, quirking an eyebrow. "Huh...? Sure thing, we won't let you fall in, I promise." Guess the guy wasn't much of a swimmer. Perhaps they could teach their friend to swim too while they were here, if they had enough time. It wasn't all that difficult really, once you could tread water swimming fell into place rather easily.

"Exactly, now let's get going guys!" It was nice that they were eager to train, it meant a lot less effort would go into getting them pepped for it. Nothing they were bound to do at the Kame House was going to be all that intensive, it wasn't exactly the place to be flinging Ki blasts and fighting at their peaks in any regard. Once they got the basics down and had said their goodbyes though Takeshi planned on taking his brother and friend out to the canyons, the same place he and Shu had first tried flying. Only this time Shu wouldn't be doing a face plant at mach one and T'charrl would be along for the ride. Really the idea of training in any regard thrilled him, it had been ages since they did it and could do so luxuriously. For him it was as good as playing games or goofing off, better even since it had some benefit. Turning over so that he flew facing the sky Takeshi looked back at his brother and T'charrl, grinning widely and giving them a small wave. "Hey, just think! Once you two get flying down we can play all sorts games in the air too! Like tag, or catch or something!" A game of tag played while flying over the landscape sounded extremely fun, they had literally the entire planet as their playing field.

T’charrl gave a glance to Takeshi, frowning a little, “I don’t think I’m holding out all that well, honestly”, he frowned, “I’m only barely holding out because I was born with it and didn’t have to inject it”. If there was one thing he was worried about, it was definitely the way he had reacted to the energy in the first place. It was as if his body had reverted into a devolved form, at least everything except his brain. While it didn’t mean he was losing resistances and anything else that advanced his kind, it still meant he was more suited for the wilds and putting his strength to the test rather than being civilised and fitting in with the rest of his kind. Running a little, he quickly took off after Takeshi and Shu, setting on their way to see this Roshi character. He wasn’t exactly nervous about this guy as he was so much for the water, not exactly knowing how large this island was.

His kind weren’t accustomed to water at all, leaving them unable to fly. That would probably be a pretty good thing about flying with Ki once they got down to it; if he ever fell in the water and couldn’t use his wings, he could use Ki to fly out of there and keep using it until they were dry again; of course, he still had fears over what could possibly happen as well if his Ki was actually too low to use, making him susceptible to going feral and changing with a hostile attempt to get more energy. There was a lot about himself that made him very afraid, including worries that he would only get worse. Staring down at the land as it all passed down below, he let out a sigh before realising Takeshi was speaking to them collectively, his head snapping up to him pretty quickly, “Uhhh…what? Oh, uhhh…maybe”, he spoke, sounding a little unsure, “I guess I could, not that I hate playing or anything, just…uhhh, w-what if I run out of energy? I can already fly, but if I got tired and had to use that Ki and then if my Ki ran out, all sorts of bad things might happen…”

Poor T'charrl, he was having a really rough time of things. Even if everyone else said he was doing well he didn't think so, apparently too worried about himself to hear everyone's assurances. He was kind of like Viral in that regard, only much, much less upset. Hopefully training would change all of that for their friend. Once he got the hang of his own powers and could gauge his strength then hopefully he'd not worry so much about it getting out of hand. With Shu flying along on his little magic cloud Takeshi was pretty free to fly as he pleased and quickly flipped over, watching the clouds race by as they soared over the land. A thought occurred to him then, and he lifted his head to see if Shu and T'charrl might want to play once they got down flying. Again the Kaesstrian hardly sounded sure of himself, poor guy. "Flying uses a really small bit of your Ki honestly, you could probably fly all day and be totally fine to fight even." As far as uses of Ki went the only less taxing exercise was sensing energy, that took so little Ki that the amount was basically zero. "And the better you get with control the less and less it takes. Not trying to brag, but I don't even feel like I'm using any at all right now."

This was real nice, getting to fly around casually again. Takeshi had forgotten what a joy it could be to do this, just soaring over trees and hills for the sake of doing it. After exchanging a few words with T'charrl he went back to watching the clouds, just sort of watching them all melt together idly. It wasn't anything spectacular really but it made him realize how much he'd actually missed Earth. Shame they were leaving so soon, a week hardly seemed like enough time for them to do anything really. Soon as they were done beating their father they would come right back home, no question about it. Once they did it was finally time to just enjoy themselves, friends and family alike. Heck, they might finally get enough time at last to look for their mothers, seeing as they'd gotten side tracked slightly for a year and all.

T’charrl was definitely pretty nervous when it came to anything new, his mind not quite able to adapt to strange things without the support of his parents. He was fine on his planet because he had his parents to support him, but even then he got into trouble way too much and would often end up with mountains of bad luck at the worst of times. He was certainly pretty nervous when he was by himself, probably because his last excursion where he was by himself was a complete failure ending in his capture. Things went wrong all the time and with things not going all that well lately it was easy to be a little nervous over something new that sounded pretty dangerous. Staring at Takeshi, he felt a little better upon the reveal, giving him a little smile, “Really? That’s…relieving”, he spoke calmly before quickly looking back up, “I mean, I feel heavier on your planet, so flying does eventually get tiring for me and I didn’t know if that was always the case with Ki, that’s all”.

It would certainly be good to not get tired over water, to say the least. He wouldn’t want to end up falling into it because he got all tired. Unlike using Ki, flapping his wings all the time wasn’t something he had to concentrate on like waving his arms as one part of his brain kept them going; of course, that meant he would get mentally worn down with his muscles responding by getting sore and tired. Hoping they would get there sometime soon, he stared down at the ground before letting out a sigh, ascending into the air a little bit more, “So, who is this Roshi of yours, anyway? Does he really know his stuff? There isn’t anything about him I should watch out for, is there? Just things like what he prefers to be called and maybe even things that shouldn’t be mentioned? He won’t get annoyed at my voice, will he…? I-I mean, a few people find it annoying…”

T'charrl was going to be just fine, and so was Shu, Takeshi was sure of it. They were nice and safe on Earth and were going to have Roshi instructing them, they were perfectly set up for success. Hopefully a week was enough time for them to get the training down, that was the only obstacle in their way. What the old perv couldn't teach them though the Saiyan hoped he'd be able to fill in. Really just controlling it all was the hardest bit, it was almost too easy to release energy. Well, Takeshi supposed not letting too much go at once was a bit tricky too. Shu was plenty aware of what happened when you went overboard with your energy, you shot off like a rocket and more often than not came crashing down. Thinking then of his own mistakes Takeshi cringed inwardly, looking down at the ground with a rueful smirk. He'd had his fair share of face plants when learning, and he hadn't exactly had the most patient of tutors. These guys were lucky in that regard.

They were moving pretty fast, and in no time they were at last out over the open water and making earnest progress towards Roshi's island. Takeshi glanced back over his shoulder, having since flipped right side up to see how T'charrl was faring. Thankfully at the rate they were traveling it would be a relatively short flight, there ought not to be any risk of the Kaesstrian taking an impromptu dip then. Shu looked to be thoroughly enjoying himself on Nimbus, which was good. Considering they were heading to Kame House for flight training though it raised a question in the older boy's mind that he just had to ask. "Hey Shu? When you learn to fly what are you going to do with Nimbus...?" Takeshi called back, smiling a bit. "I mean you won't need it, none of us will. I wonder where it even goes when it's not being used..." Did it just float around in the sky like other clouds? Or was it always at the Kame House? Looking up at the sky Takeshi furrowed his brow a bit, trying to imagine Nimbus idling around up in the sky. Meh, stupid magical clouds, they didn't make any sense.
