Viral didn’t know if this would work, but by all means it wasn’t having the best time trying to hide his energy like this either. All of this training should have been making an improvement, but he couldn’t do it. Just because he was in a bigger vessel for his energy didn’t mean he was able to control it. This was not looking good for him; he didn’t even know what was causing it. In his feline form he probably had more control over his thought patterns than his other form, but only because he had been training. His energy was still leaking from him and it was pretty painful and difficult to deal with. Going in for another attack, he stopped when Takeshi came closer to the pair to tell him to stop the fight. The Chieftain was pretty ready to blast him with Ki at this point but stopped when Takeshi approached too.

Viral was in too much pain to be bothering with this interference, his eyes going back to the Chieftain who only questioned Takeshi and denied him a break. Snarling at the Chieftain’s words, he raised his claws, “I will never!! The problem isn’t even you!” He needed to get rid of the energy and fast, but the only way to do that was to fight. Hoping it wasn’t going to be a long lasting problem he immediately jumped at the Chieftain again and swiped down his claws, his energy still going spastic but quite frankly he couldn’t think about that. Something must had damaged him when he was slammed like that, but whatever that was had left him in constant pain and energy breaking everywhere.
Viral would had dodged the attack if he still possessed the sense to at that moment, but there was a moment where his mind had lost the plot and the Narbu’s fist collided with his body with great strength and smashed him into a wall. The energy output was not on purpose; in fact, he didn’t have any control over it even if he tried. With the great pain of his insides being properly bruised he struggled to bring it under control, pushing away from the wall when the Narbu backed off and allowed him to get some breathing space. Taking a hit like that shouldn’t be enough to throw his energy completely off. Trying to think clearly, he shook his head slowly before grabbing hold of it. This was incredibly painful, but the only way around fixing it was to just unleash it and get it over with.

Not knowing whether giving into it was the best idea, he still had to try. Staggering, he soon tried to pull his energy before releasing it, the energy bursting out as he transformed immediately into his feline form in a bright flash. Letting out a roar his energy continued to buzz every so often, but it looked like he had it under control again. Shaking his head quickly, he tried to find focus again before going for the Narbu, not wanting to have that anomaly interfere with his task. He could rival the Chieftain with this height, but he couldn’t concern himself with that just now. Snarling as he threw his claws down, his energy continued to spark every so often but wasn’t going into the danger zone of causing widespread meltdown just yet.

Shu didn’t know what was happening to their friend, but watching him only told him he was struggling to contain his own energy. He couldn’t sense it, but he could feel the heat coming from it as it caused melting and damaged to the surrounding area. They should stop the fight if their friend was getting to this stage, but of course Viral would hate for them to do that and would probably get really angry at them. Holding his head down as if trying to hide, he looked up at Takeshi and shook his head, “It’s already not going well, nevermind the end…” he spoke, looking back at Viral, “What do we do if things get worse?”
Viral wanted to get on top of this fight and was willing to go the highly aggressive route, jumping straight into the fray and throwing pretty solid punches. For Viral to be this aggressive he needed to be willing to risk getting hit if just to try and discover a weakness with this brute. Throwing his fists at the Chieftain, he put in all his strength into it until he was pushed away. Stumbling a little, he growled as he stared at the Narbu, watching him to see if he had been properly beaten. He was not letting him get the better of him, staring into his eyes to try and predict his next attack. He looked properly beaten, but when the Narbu began to gain new confidence he immediately readied for another attack.

Viral didn’t want to underestimate his opponent and was immediately ready to take the attack, focusing on the Narbu’s fierce eyes as there was a sudden boost of speed from the giant. Confident he could take the on the alien, there was a split second just before the Narbu impact where Viral was supposed to move; however, Viral froze up instead and was hit by the large fist. Being driven back, he drove his claws into the Narbu’s arm before there was a burst of energy that came from him as he was slammed into the wall. It expelled out of him with great ferocity, but he didn’t appear to be out for the count as his eyes were wide open and he was greatly angered, or at least it appeared to be angered. Growling angrily, he threw his claws down again and kicked out, the energy still buzzing off him.

Shu stared at Takeshi for a moment in confusion to his denial of a tail before his attention immediately went back to Viral when things got bad, letting out a gasp as his friend was hit. Wanting to help his friend, he stopped himself especially with seeing the energy burst from Viral and he appeared to be still awake and okay. Something about it made him feel pretty afraid, but he didn’t know whether it was the Narbu or Viral that made him afraid. Immediately taking refuge behind Takeshi, he frowned and looked up at him, “I-I thought Mister Viral was going to dodge it for a second there…”
Viral knew he was quicker than this beast of an alien and if he was going to make it to ten minutes then all he would need to do was not let him touch him. Trying to move around him quickly, Viral jumped onto the giant’s back and tried to grab hold of him; however, just as fast the Narbu moved his big paws around and snatched him, throwing him off with a jolt. Twisting in the air he managed to land on his hands, shifting his weight to stop him from sliding as he raced the Narbu again. That was just annoying, but he couldn’t let it bother him. Growling, he immediately ran at the Narbu with great strength, simply trying to force his fists into his gut with a strong jump. If he could find a weakness on this alien then he could bring him down without needing to resort to desperate measures.

Shu watched Viral anxiously, even if he had no real reason to be worried. It was a matter of Viral showing what he could do and if he would be willing to show off his true strength, but if he was too prideful and thought he could win without using anything then he might end up losing like Takeshi tends to when he messes around. Luckily enough Viral didn’t appear to like being messed around with and was already leaping right at the Narbu again. Getting all excited for a second, he squeaked when he realised what Takeshi said, “Wha? Nooo! Don’t bite my tail!” he squeaked, grabbing hold of it and moving away from Takeshi, “I’m not going to let you do that…so I won’t do that! If you get your tail again, I’ll bite it because you said that…”
The problem with the Narbu using his tail was it essentially was classed as a weapon with those spikes they carried and acting as knives as a result. If the Narbu wasn’t going to play fair then he would need to make things harder for him by using his own weapons. Swiping at the Narbu, he growled at his logic before jumping back, “You’ll with you never gave me the option…but I won’t show you what I can do yet!” He couldn’t use his transformation unless he was in danger or if his genes would switch on. It would be completely unfair if he wasn’t in any pain yet, even after getting hit by the daggered tail. Instead with an immediate run from danger, he moved fast around the Narbu and trying to jump onto his head, hoping to grab his horns to pull him down.

Shu was definitely worried over his friend, hoping he would be able to pull through and defeat the Narbu pretty quickly instead of apparently testing himself. If Viral was allowed to do anything his body could do then he could use his true abilities, but he didn’t appear to be doing anything of the sort. He could summon extra arms and punch the guy a lot more than he could just now, especially when that was regarded as natural too. Looking up at Takeshi, he frowned with a sigh and shook his head, “I hope he doesn’t lose because I don’t want to fight that guy! He looks really tough…” he sighed, looking away, “That tail whack was kind of cheap, though…I mean, I don’t use my tail much to fight you when we’re training…”
Viral was focusing on keeping the Narbu down for now, at least to give him a hard time balancing and keeping up with him. He was not going to make it easy for him when this was his time to prove that he had nothing wrong with him to Takeshi. It was aggravating to have a group of people constantly show concern whenever something didn’t go as planned. Forcing a kick into the Chieftain’s leg he swung an arm around, aiming to force it into the Narbu’s snout before the Chieftain decided to swing his tail around in retaliation. Turning the moment he spotted it he instead tried to catch it but the force of it sent him back and almost falling off his feet. Catching himself, he rubbed his side and growled, raising his claws, “Unless I have a tail, you should fight with honour! Or do you want me to cheat too??” he spoke up as he immediately went into fight again, forcing down his claws several times in a series of swipes, “I can easily defeat you too if I decide to cheat using my own natural weapons!”

All while Shu was worried over his friend fighting the large Narbu, Takeshi seemed quite frankly bored of the entire thing. He didn’t understand how he could be, especially when his friend’s dignity was on the line as well as their potential to get some warriors. Frowning, he stared at Takeshi, giving a little nod at his answer before looking back to the fight, “And what if Mister Viral makes the mistake…? We would have to find another guy like this and maybe do this all over again”. There was a lot riding on this and it was definitely proving to be intense, especially when he couldn’t figure out who was the strongest out of the pair, “What if he uses Ki on him like the Elite did? Mister Viral would hate that…”
Viral didn’t see this guy as being too difficult to deal with, at least given the amount of time he had to fight for. Hopefully there was somebody taking note of the time because he wasn’t going to be able to keep track, especially when he had been able to fight for hours on the ship without meaning to. Having this fight would definitely help loosen him up if anything, even if he did end up getting battered. Moving around swiftly, he lashed out at the Chieftain to put him off thinking he had an advantage with his large size. Even if the attack barely did a thing, it proved to distract the Chieftain and made him think twice about his size. Moving around, he watched the alien before he lashed out, his large paw coming down at him. Letting out a growl as he moved, he immediately threw out his own paws and grabbed onto his claws, his body being pushed back before his feet managed to get a grip, “I can take anything!” he gasped before throwing his arms around and trying to pull the Narbu down if only a little before throwing his fists for his legs, trying to topple him.

Shu didn’t know if he could do anything to help or whether he should try and give him some encouraging words, but he thought they might throw him off; besides, he didn’t know many things that might be termed as encouraging. Moving away from the battlezone might help him first, especially when Viral was known to try and throw his enemies when he couldn’t slash them apart. It wouldn’t be good to try and cut the Chieftain up, he knew that much, especially when him getting too injured would mean he wouldn’t be able to fight. Looking to Takeshi he frowned a little, “How do we know when a ten minutes is done? I don’t know how much that is to count a-and if they fight for too long…something bad might happen!”
Viral had no reason to be afraid of this guy, especially when size hadn’t been an issue before. He was certain he was going to win against this guy, especially when he had the speed and strength to combat this guy. He may annoy him, but he’d still be able to deliver some good punches and slashes before the ten minutes were up. If he did end up struggling then the best thing to do would be to transform, but even that was risky. His personality certainly changed when he changed and he couldn’t help that, but he had been practising and maybe he’ll be able to keep control for long enough until the time was up and he’d be able to change back before anything happened. He thought of himself as fairly ready to go, but it might be tricky if he couldn’t keep up. He needed to have confidence, especially when this man thought he was the greatest warrior here.

“If you think strength has to do with how much muscle you have, you’re going to be surprised”, he spoke lowly, giving his knuckles a crack, “You should take care with underestimating someone”. Despite the size of the guy, worrying about that was going to be a waste of time. He wasn’t going to underestimate the possible speed of this alien, knowing just because he was large didn’t mean he wasn’t fast. He could easily end up getting smacked like Takeshi if he wasn’t careful, but he was smarter than that and much more capable. Looking back to Takeshi, he groaned and looked away once more, finding him to be increasingly annoying with his lack of faith, “Is that supposed to be a joke?? I’m not gonna lose!”

Watching the other Narbu move around, Viral rubbed his wrists as he waited for the Chieftain to get himself ready, hoping he would at least be able to follow his own rules and not sneak out a hidden weapon, “Hmph, every day I battle”. Moving to the opposite side of the ring, Viral faced the Chieftain and let out a sigh, moving his claws to the side and spread his feet apart, “Don’t call me that…I am Viral. I will win your challenge!” Moving quickly, Viral initiated the challenge first and moved immediately around the Chieftain, trying to out-manoeuvre any possible attack and trying to strike from behind as he constantly moved. If he could keep out of the way of his horns and claws he should be fine, at least for ten minutes.
Shu didn’t know what to make of the aliens, even if he had seen the Elite before. They were all so big and he was so small, he probably looked like a tiny mouse to them. If he was able to look innocent and not a threat then they would leave him alone and luckily they were ignoring him for the most part. Feeling a little worried when Viral moved away from him and told Takeshi to protect him. He didn’t know if Takeshi would disobey this and just go on trying to threaten these guys with his words, but thankfully he went over him all while looking a little angry. He didn’t know if this was going to work out well after all, but if they didn’t want to go out for fighting then they didn’t need to feel forced. Staring up at Takeshi, he moved closer to him before looking back at the Chieftain, “He’s…really big…” he muttered, moving around behind Takeshi, “I’m scared of him…b-but still being brave…”

Viral couldn’t be bothered with Takeshi’s complaining, especially when they needed to be adults here. This alien should be respected and not talked down to like a child, nothing like Takeshi was treating him as with such informality. Staring up at him, he narrowed his gaze at the Chieftain’s words, giving an angry glance back at Takeshi as he tried to protest it before moving his attention back to the Chieftain, “…Of course…you owe them nothing. Fighting for you because you could not fight the Saiyans”, he spoke calmly, “I am no pup and you can see that. I can tell by the way you look at me as you try to stare into my soul, but you see only darkness and emptiness all while trying to fill it with empty excuses to refuse. I am not weak…”

Viral was in no mood for talking this long especially when he could be doing something about it and show them they really meant business. Viral knew these aliens were warriors at heart, that much was obvious by the way they looked and lived, but their refusal was just childish. Staring up at the Chieftain, he folded his arms and gave him a narrow stare, “You challenge me? How noble to grant me such honour…” he spoke, his eyes only going back to Takeshi for a second before back to the Chieftain. The challenge was suitable and made sense, but if they were any sort of warrior then death upon losing was always a possibility. He wasn’t afraid of dying and he wouldn’t kill the Chieftain, especially when he had to last just 10 minutes. Grunting, he unbuckled his belt with his cleaver, pulling it off and taking off his scarf, “Very well. I’ll fight with honour and not use weapons, just claws…” Wrapping up his scarf he gave his items a quick toss back at Takeshi and Shu, “You care for my stuff! This will not take long”.
Takeshi barely seemed to know how to talk to people so Viral didn’t fully know why he put him in charge, but he did think it was better that a Saiyan talk to these men when he probably looked like some unknown alien to him. Watching the Narbu carefully when they approached, Viral moved closer to Shu to keep the guy away from harm if it ever came close, especially when Takeshi was only greeted with angry stares. These aliens were dangerous and Takeshi was hardly treating them with any sort of respect, his casual little speech already sealing whatever chance they had to be formal and gain their trust. Letting out an annoyed sigh, he looked away when he was pointed at before moving Shu away from the crowd, at least enough so he could fly off if he needed to get away from the crowd.

Of course things would only go from bad to worse as everything went silent, the Narbu only giving him a hard staring at as he tried to reach through a language barrier. That was never going to be the right way to go and he completely threw it with that. Watching them carefully, he pulled back as they leaped at Takeshi and tried to beat him down as if they were his enemy. They shouldn’t be too much of a problem for Takeshi when they appeared to be warning shots, watching as he repelled the attack and could only complain again, “Would you pay attention??” he snapped at him as another Narbu jumped in, only this time it was the biggest of them all.

Of course their Chieftain would decide to jump in eventually, but what was worse was he was probably the smarter and angrier than the others. Takeshi was obviously not the right choice to take here, Vegeta probably would have been better as a speaker in the end. Looking between them all, when the Chieftain spoke his full attention went to him, watching carefully as he only spoke of old news. Seemed this guy hadn’t been informed that the Saiyans were gone from here, at least the ones that weren’t the rebels. Glancing at Shu, he soon let out a growl and moved forward, “Takeshi, protect your brother, will you?” he spoke, having enough of him trying.

The Chieftain looked pretty tough and large, but at least he was willing to speak more than the other Narbu. He had a feeling they could all understand them without the scouters, especially when the Saiyans had been here once before. Staring up at the Narbu, he kept a confident stance as if showing he wasn’t afraid, “Has news not reached you that the Saiyan Kingdom has been repelled? That there’s Saiyans willing to fight against them?” he spoke up, looking a little annoyed, “Would you turn down a chance to fight against them in one final stand, you and your warriors? That’s what we’ve come here for…we want to dethrone the King! If you refuse then fine, we’ll move on…but know that if we don’t finish him off soon he may conquer your planet again, which is why we have to now…”
