Viral didn’t know what she meant or why she was telling him any of this, but of course he didn’t have a clue to what was meant to feel better right at this moment. It could be that he didn’t feel anything at all, but he knew he would feel something later so feeling this way was certainly better than just now. If he could feel alright under the pills then taking them once things got worse again seemed like the best thing, but of course this was how he was feeling right now and who knew how he might feel later on when they wore off. Finding confusion in her words she soon made it just a little clearer when she mentioned abilities, but right now he couldn’t think much beyond what she could already do, “Is something wrong with transforming…other than this…” he mumbled, staring down at himself for a moment before back to Yumi, “You sure it was my genes you got and not some…animal’s?”

Vegeta put a stop to that whole conversation with his own rebuttal, putting doubts in whether Yumi even had anything extra other than the animal senses and abilities she could figure out herself. If she did end up getting changed back then it would be pointless, but he couldn’t quite think beyond all of that even if he tried. It was pretty funny calling him a seasoned warrior when he had barely fought at all lately. He couldn’t think beyond a week right now and everything else was just a blur, but of course that was the medicine taking away those bad memories that haunted him so much. As he was finally given a seat he slowly leaned back without much control over it, his horns proving to be a little too heavy with this kind of weakness before he managed to find balance thanks to Vegeta, “I-…I don’t know. You wanted me to eat…” he groaned, slowly moving his paws onto the table, giving his arms a look before sighing, “Shark fin soup…here, take these”.

T’charrl didn’t want to be rude to his friends, but this whole changing thing of his had made him incredibly paranoid about hurting one of his friends when it started to feel stronger. With every day that passed his strength increased and so did his urge to become that greater power, scaring him pretty badly. He didn’t like how he picked up that trait from the energy he took from the General and knew he had to suppress it, but whatever that thing that was inside him said it certainly didn’t tell him how to control that hostile energy. Frowning as he stared at Takeshi, his antennae twitching as he tried to find an understanding to what he was saying, “I know, I…uhhh, d-did that. I wanted help to-uhh, to help you”, he spoke, frowning deeply at his mistake, “If I could do that all times, it would be okay…but, I-I can’t yet”. It made him a little nervous to be around them but if Takeshi was giving him reassurance then that made him feel just a little bit better. He hadn’t been training with anybody because he was so scared of it all the time, but if Takeshi was going to give him a break then things should be a lot better, “Thank you. Hard training: that is okay. I will say if I feel umm…that word. Big feelings? Does that mean big feelings? Overwhelmed”.
Viral didn’t know how far they were from the mess hall or whether they were even moving, whether they were walking around in circles was a complete mystery to him. He was disorientated and could barely see, his pills obviously being good for sleeping and relaxing over walking around and neither did it help that he had them without food or water either. He could probably blame Vegeta for not watching him or assisting him once he had his mind back a little more, but right now it was a struggle to think of a good way to point the blame when nobody was getting on at him for being this way; at least the pain was deadened and his head clear, even if it was a little too clear. Gasping when his paw was taken hold of he instead frowned, not sure what was happening with the two of them leading him along, “Get better…? My sleeping skills are…highly lacking…” he muttered, finding confusion in her words, “I feel better just now…but I can’t see or walk very well…” He wasn’t sure what she meant, but maybe being able to walk and talk like normal was what she meant. Lifting his head slightly to try and look at her he gave her a tired stare, his eyes barely able to open properly to look, “Teach you how they work…? How what works? Claws…teeth…ears…there’s nothing to teach…”

T’charrl was trying hard to explain what he meant but he couldn’t think of the exact word, at least not in their language. He knew it in his own and he even knew the true name for it, but Vegeta hadn’t taught him that yet. Staring at Takeshi in hope that he might understand him he smiled a little when Takeshi seemed to get the point, giving Shu a quick look before he let out a sigh, “Yes, good…I just-…I-I’m sorry”, he spoke, giving a quick nod before looking away down the corridor instead. It was just one of those things he didn’t know if he had absolute control over, his closest attempt at being in control was back when they were chasing down the criminal. He had been focused on attacking and capturing him is all so there was no telling how he might react if he changed and the others were there as his point of interest. Looking to Takeshi, T’charrl gave a quick nod before looking away again, “No stress…okay. I have practice, a lot of practice, but not ready…not yet. Just want to help again and fight, but want to get, umm…ssstrong to be what was. If I do, then you can use…you know, what is on me, yes? Vegeta said I should be caring of that, though. Do you mind if I don’t try too hard so I don’t go bad?”
Viral wasn’t in the mood to be arguing with Vegeta, especially over matters like that. It was rude to call someone a half-breed if you respected them in the first place, but luckily he was allowed to bite back because Vegeta wasn’t behaving himself. Growling lowly at Vegeta’s rebuttal he pulled back as if purposely trying to make himself fall and get Vegeta in trouble with Yumi, “Don’t youuuu…call me a mongrel!” While Vegeta was being annoying, Yumi was just being confusing when he had very little mental capacity to begin with. To be quite frank he didn’t want to talk about that kind of stuff, but if Yumi insisted then he would give an answer. She certainly seemed confused over it, but it wasn’t as if he wasn’t speaking the truth to what he might do. Throwing lesser troops at large forces was something that had already been done when he was under control. Large bases would get weakened and allow the stronger soldiers to completely wreck the place. Looking to Vegeta when he tried to explain what he was saying, Viral frowned slightly before looking away. It was awfully difficult to think right now and all he could think of was sitting down again, even if it meant he was going to be forced to eat. If he swiped at their faces then it was going to be their own fault and even in his deteriorated state he would still be able to react fast enough to do something like that. Feeling fairly dazed he reached out in front of him, his head lowering a little, “I want to…just…forget either exist…”

T’charrl didn’t know what any of this meant, his mind not quite able to get around what Takeshi or Shu was talking about, but he would be quite alright to let it slide. Feeling pretty concerned, T’charrl frowned a little before sighing, shifting around on his feet. It must had been an inside joke or something, but it wasn’t something he could understand. Smiling at the pair he slowly moved from them, giving his fur a quick brush down, “Training hall? Okay! Yesss”, he spoke quickly, feeling accomplished that he knew what that was. If they could train quietly in there then it would be fairly okay, he wouldn’t have to worry about anything going wrong with him. He was pretty cautious about training with Takeshi mainly because he was pretty scared of him when he changed, “Are you…okay with, umm, me? Me being all, uhhh…don’t know the word…but yes? Right?”
Viral didn’t see it as progress no matter how the two saw it, seeing it as a death sentence if it wasn’t sorted soon. That was okay though, he knew what was on the other side for him and certainly wasn’t any sort of surprise what might come either, his mind fairly well settled on the fact that he had been fairly close to death a lot and he felt okay with that. Staring at Yumi as she fussed over her ears he let out a groan, shaking his hand a little in dismissal. He was pretty sure Vegeta would butt in before he could speak and sure enough just when he opened his mouth to Vegeta did, telling her everything that made him wonder if Vegeta was just trying to dismiss it again. It seemed to be happening a lot, especially when he knew he wasn’t able to speak up in time while his mind was completely slow. Groaning in protest he lowered his head a little, giving it a rub, “Let me just-…I need to say goodbye to her eventually…” he grumbled, swaying a little, “And what are YOU saying that for? You’re the biggest half-breed here…silly little boy…”

Finding it all pretty annoying that he wasn’t getting his way with things he instead nearly dropped off his feet as his concentration on staying up diminished to make way for angry thoughts. He probably shouldn’t get all complicated with his thoughts at a time like this, especially when he was standing up. Letting out a groan he tried to get back to walking a little straighter, dragging his feet before his eyes went back to Yumi. It was not the best time for her to be talking to him about stuff like that, especially when his mind was completely out of it. Frowning as he stared at her he slowly lowered his head, “I don’t…know. Sacrifice troops…works…” he spoke slowly, trying to think it through, “Yeah…lowly troops. Don’t think I wouldn’t…do you hate that I would? Do you hate me…? It is not that, though…that is stupid…no sense there. Maybe it’s the stars taking their revenge…”

T’charrl was pretty happy with himself and Takeshi seemed pretty happy that he could speak too, smiling and giving him a nod. He hoped his way of talking wasn’t going to bug Takeshi, especially when he was told before that his voice was annoying. He was very self-conscious over this kind of stuff, but he had reason to when everything that was strange and wrong with him was right in everybody’s faces all the time. Maybe his next metamorphosis wouldn’t have him looking so bad, but he really did hope he might be able to become normal eventually, “Training…a-and normal soon!” Smiling happily at Takeshi’s approval he felt pretty proud of himself, finding it not too hard to understand his friend. Maybe he’ll soon be able to have indepth discussions with them all, but that would probably take a little bit longer. Watching Takeshi curiously as he made a step closer he tilted his head, gasping a little when Takeshi instead gave him a nudge and gave him a strange suggestion, “Uhhh…special…?”

Shu let out a squeal, making a quick jump at his brother, “Nooo! I’ll tell Mister Vegeta on you!” he squealed, shaking his head quickly, “You be nice! Nice to Friend T’charrl and teach good things! Where do we go to train? Big room? Other big room but empty? Where are other rooms…?” Shu didn’t actually know where they were going to take their friend, especially if he there was a possibility of him getting really big again. It would be bad if T’charrl accidentally got big and there was a lot of stuff everywhere or the room was too small for him.
Viral would have preferred to be pushed along rather than carried, especially when being carried meant everything in his vision apart from what was immediately in front of him became fuzzy and blended in pretty well. It was some trip to be under and it definitely made him more than just a little disorientated, but with everything now completely under wraps he was okay with this. Sighing as he slowly glanced over to the bed he instead turned his head back around and rubbed his cheek tiredly, “I don’t have to walk when you can wheel me around…” he muttered, looking down to the ground as he followed his steps, “I don’t have to take this…I’m the patient…” Nonsensical words aside, Viral barely noticed Yumi when Vegeta suddenly stopped, nearly swinging away from him when they halted in front of her. Usually nobody would come and be around him apart from Vegeta so it was completely unexpected to have anybody else come along to check him out.

Seeing Yumi was pretty rare nowadays, at least ever since she found something in the Saiyan that he’d never be able to experience. He would be thinking all sorts of bad thoughts about Yumi and her current lifestyle, but quite frankly he was too out of it to bother. Nearly falling back when he was prodded in the shoulder he swiped his claws out lamely, hardly getting anywhere close before he gave her a wave of dismissal, grumbling, “Don’t judge me…woman…” He didn’t have much care for what Vegeta was telling her, especially when he already heard it all when he was in the room with him. Looking away dismissively for a moment his eyes soon went to Vegeta at his suggestion that Yumi be cured possibly too, his eyes soon going to Yumi, “Yeah…maybe we can get rid of your big ears”, he pointed out before realising something, “Oh yeah…I may lose my mind forever…so goodbye. I’ll be dead soon if he can’t treat me in time…”

Shu smiled at Takeshi, feeling a little cheeky as he stared up at him. Seeing him all flustered over simple words was pretty funny, especially when he was so self-conscious over what he said out in the open. Giggling a little he bounced around Takeshi, “I say many words! I like words because I can say them! Ooh!” he spoke quickly, giving a quick nod, “I can make up words too! Beenibeep! Beep beep! Ooh ooh! Those aren’t words…” Thinking about it for a moment his eyes quickly went to Takeshi again when he knocked on the door, his eyes quickly going to it before squeaking when T’charrl suddenly opened the door, giving him a little wave and a smile before he looked up to Takeshi again, “He doesn’t look sleepy! Friend isn’t lazy!”

T’charrl didn’t know why it was so urgent sounding, but turns out it wasn’t meant to be as such when they thought he might had just been sleeping. Strange how they would try to wake him up if they thought he was sleeping, especially considering how little he slept compared to them. Tilting his head a little bit before straightening up, T’charrl stared down at the two before giving a little smile himself, “Train? Practice? That would be very nice”, he spoke, looking off to the side for a second before moving out of the door, thinking otherwise about his scouter. He had been practicing for a while with speaking earlier before collecting energy and now was a good time to try and practice again, this time with his friends. Closing his door over he gave Takeshi and Shu a smile, “Do I…sound good? Not bad?”
Viral couldn’t much care if he wasn’t looking good right now, nor could he be bothered thinking about how he was feeling. He wasn’t feeling all that depressed anymore, plus he had that slight moment of calm now that the medicine was taking effect so he couldn’t feel all that bad anymore even if it was crippling him with severe weakness. Usually if someone took this much they’d be out cold for hours, but Viral had too much to do to have to go to sleep and be trapped with nightmares for hours on end. Not in the mood to be talking about needles or force-feeding he let out a groan in protest, waving his paw around dismissively, “A lot of good many things will do…but I am still doomed”, he grumbled, finding the thought of it all being counter-productive. Growling as Vegeta teased him he gasped as he was pulled up to his feet, his hand going to his head when the horns proved to be too heavy again, “Prime? More like…primal because my mind would be gone completely…” he spoke, sighing heavily, “Where’s that wheelie-thing I had before…”

Shu found it funny when Takeshi got all flustered, but it was true that he said a lot of bad words. Yumi had told him what not to copy what Takeshi said after saying a few things Takeshi had said before, “I’m not telling! They didn’t say those words first, though”, he squeaked, bouncing as he walked, “You say bad things because you think it’s funny, right? Funny bad words of angriness…you have a lot”. Finding it amusing to tease Takeshi Shu gave him a little smile, shaking his head at the stuff about Yumi, “Nooo she had sharp nails before too! But now are more sharp and scary”. He didn’t like it, getting cut by anything sharp. It was scary and he was going to always feel pain when touched by them so he couldn’t help but feel bad whenever he changed and nearly sliced people up with his own claws. Pulling at his nails a bit he let out a sigh, squeaking in fright when Takeshi banged on T’charrl’s door, “Careful! Banging loud…”

T’charrl had been training by himself by the time Takeshi tried to thump down his door, his energy completely being thrown off and his concentration lost. He was trying to hone his energy and pull in more around him, the residue that was left over from others and collecting it for himself; however, with the banging he probably lost a good burst of it before he could absorb it himself. Gasping and hastily looking around his eyes soon rested on the door when he realised what was happening, his claws going to his head. It sounded like Takeshi, but why he was here he didn’t really know. It wasn’t dinnertime yet and he had only started his training so it couldn’t be that he had finished already. Standing up and moving to the door he casually opened it, tilting his head a little, “Huh? What is…? H-Hello?”
Viral needed to get on his feet again, but his mind wasn’t able to find his feet. His mind was all but trying to disappear from him and nobody seemed to mind, so all he could do was let the medicine take effect and remove his worries and sorrow. Rubbing his face as Vegeta decided to justify his odd manner of acting he wondered just what was giving Vegeta a reason to be all excited about this, finding it to be pretty worrying to say the least. To find excitement over a possibility of failure didn’t sit very well with him, in fact it made him a little nervous under his shell of frail mindedness. He still didn’t feel too sure about eating, but that nervousness was gradually disappearing along with his stress. Frowning as he slowly stared downwards as he sighed, his paw shifting on the floor as he tried to find a way to get up again, “Don’t you…force needles into me…” he groaned, not finding his feet very well, “You know what I mean…you know you’ll try and beat me, anyway. What do you think you do in training…you bookworm…”

Shu certainly had a lot of questions in mind and did wonder how he was supposed to try and find the answers to them all. Takeshi wouldn’t be able to give him a lot of them, but thinking them through and trying to solve them himself was what he always had to do. Nobody else would give him the answers unless he went right up and asked about them rather rudely; he really had no idea how T’charrl would react if he asked him where his ears were, for instance. Scratching through his hair, Shu eventually looked up at Takeshi again, tilting his head a little before giggling, “You say bad words a lot! I was taught that”, he smiled, giving a nod, “Always told never to say what you say because you say bad things”. When it came to how he felt about what happened to himself and what others had, Shu definitely had a slight case of nervousness towards it and was scared of what he was capable of when he had them. While he didn’t want to address his rage problem he still had problems regarding what he became, “I don’t like pointy things going near me”, he spoke lowly, pulling at his fingers, “Hers aren’t that big, but she still keeps them…b-but I don’t mind! So long as she doesn’t want to scratch me with them, I’m okay…”
Viral didn’t see any other way around it, especially considering he was practically losing his mind everytime he went into a transformation. He might as well be killed off because of that, something that couldn’t be fixed should be dumped. If he could find some form of hope in all of this it would have to be given to him by Vegeta, but the guy barely seemed to be caring and wanted to get it over with. Letting out a pretty audible groan he slowly rubbed his head, “I can’t relax…could you relax? Hmm actually you are always acting relaxed…” he mumbled, not seeing it as all that possible to get back to eating and training. He probably could sleep just now, but he would probably end up waking up asking for more pills because his nightmares would be overwhelming with no way to wake up from them. Not exactly happy to hear the possibility of it all taking a week, “What do you intend to feed me with…? Food, probably…wouldn’t think…anything else…but what? It’ll get worse before getting better, or something…hmph, just because you think you can beat me…”

Shu really did feel confused, not exactly sure how he was supposed to understand how scouters worked if he was going to question where ears were on an alien. He should try and groom T’charrl and find out just what was under all that fur, whether he had traditional ears or just little holes. There were so many questions out there but all of them seemed too rude to ask for an answer directly. Scratching his head quickly he slowly looked up towards Takeshi, tilting his head, “I don’t think he’ll hate us being there…unless he’s a big bug again. Maybe he’ll get mad if you teach him something bad? Best not to teach him bad things because you know a lot of bad words, I think!” he nodded in acknowledgement, “I don’t think I’d like swords coming out of me…but I guess my nails sort of be like that when I change…ooh, I don’t like it. I only like having little nails…not big nails. Mister Viral has big nails…and Miss Yumi…but not that big…all scritchy-scratchy! They’re scary…like lots of little swords…”
Viral was pretty convinced that he wasn’t going to make it, even if those thoughts had been calmed with the use of the medicine. He knew full well what a genetic deterioration meant and how difficult it was to fix so in his mind he was pretty doomed; he was just taking it pretty well, that’s all. The medicine made it a lot easier to handle this kind of news and Vegeta seemed to be taking it pretty well too, at least with his understanding over the situation. Vegeta always seemed pretty calm in light of bad news so this was apparently not that bad a thing. Slowly beginning to lower down Viral still tried to keep standing, his weak legs finding it a little difficult to stand at this point as Vegeta continued to talk. Slowly moving his paw across the desk to try and find a way to push himself up again, he tried to raise up still, his arms wobbling, “Okay…you do that…I’ll just…sit”, he grumbled, eventually giving up and falling on his backside onto the floor. Slowly rubbing his head he let out a groan, finding it particularly difficult to concentrate with so much going on, “I don’t care about dying…I already know I am going to. No more fighting, no battles…no pain…but do I care for pain? Nah. Radiation is everywhere, even this ship…what do I do? Wait for death? Such long space days…”

“Yeah! It must be itchy too, I mean…how does it stick onto him? I don’t see ears on him”, Shu spoke up, feeling pretty confused by that. T’charrl was a pretty hairy guy and was probably just going to get hairier so those scouters would probably fall off eventually, especially when he didn’t appear to have any ears for it to hold onto. It was so confusing, but T’charrl certainly seemed to keep it off unless he wanted to have a nice conversation so that meant it probably wasn’t very comfortable. Scratching at his ear just thinking about it he let out a sigh, feeling pretty happy, “Yeah, maybe! I wonder if he’ll like that”, he spoke, giving a little nod, “I wonder if he misses being the way he used to be, I mean…he’s big and fluffy and cuddly; maybe that’s nice to be too? But he does have those pointy things in his arms…but he used to have swords too so maybe that is why he got them? I still don’t understand how it works…”
Viral had no idea whether the discovery was good or just going to make things worse overall, the fact that he knew whether he was going to die or manage to somehow live through genes degrading without being back on Earth. Vegeta didn’t make him, he wouldn’t know how to fix him so it was pointless even thinking about such a thing, the confusion as to how he would find the fix in the middle of space making it feel impossible. Pressing his other paw against the desk he stared down at Vegeta, his forearms becoming a little wobbly, “But it’s sped up…really fast. You know that”, he spoke, raising a claw to him but nearly falling under his own weight, his paw going to the desk again, “I believe maybe…a couple of weeks…I should start saying my goodbyes! No way you can find the solution in time…and it’s genes! I’ll get worse…maybe all funny looking…teh, what even causes…’gene deterioration’, anyway…? Like…one of those failed experiments your parents made…”

Shu was pretty happy and excited for a variety of reasons, even if it was all stemming from the fact he didn’t have to think about his anger problem. That whole thing could be swept away forever as far as he was concerned simply because it was too complicated and he felt he would only fail if he tried to do it. The less he needed to think about it the less those nightmares of his would occur after the constant worry he was put through over having this power. With Takeshi completely distracted from it as well they’d happily go and help T’charrl with his little problem which was a whole lot easier than what they had to go through. T’charrl just needed to get stronger and change to find his true form all while learning their language, something that he saw as being pretty easy. Running on after Takeshi he bounced along when he finally caught up, smiling up at him, “Yeah! It would be nice to be able to talk to him properly too…with all the things! And stuff you’ve told me! Has Mister Vegeta said what he’s been teaching him? Maybe we could teach him new things while we train?”
