Viral did get annoyed at Vegeta’s methods of calculative precision when it came to the simplest problems in life like deciding what method of repair something needed, instead trying to create an invention to do it in an easier yet more complicated way. This was going to be the reason they might get stuck in space for ages if the ship ever got into mechanical trouble, all because Vegeta decided to see if he could calibrate it to go faster than warp speed. Everything in his treatment had to be played in the most simple fashion, hopefully coming to a conclusion and finally relieving him of his affliction. If Vegeta decided to go ahead and make it incredibly complicated just to get a hundred percent results then there was going to be problems for him. He didn’t care if something came out of this that was not predicted, they could fix it later if that was the case. “Isn’t worrying over shoes the same as worrying over your looks?” he questioned her before sighing, looking away, “This storm has lasted a long time now and I’m soaking. Those days of wondering what the rain felt like now becoming pretty realistic and it comes with lightning. If I am going to be able to last through this, I need breaks and not feel trapped in the wind. Everything feels crushed under the rubble this storm has created and having no freedom from it is making me…weak. I can’t push it away no matter what I try”.

T’charrl chuckled a little, or at least it was the closest thing to a chuckle when it was more of a clicking noise, “I think you are getting confused, but you are very similar to a lot of people here. Even you think I am strange looking, others too”, he spoke, keeping in good spirits, “It is okay though, I am fine with it, so long as fear does not gain strength”. He was well aware that he was probably the strangest looking so far, even if there was probably stranger looking aliens out there. He didn’t know what was out there or who were potential allies, just that the ones on the ship were usually shaped like Takeshi. If there wasn’t such a vast number of traits each one of them had he probably wouldn’t remember who they were as individuals, but luckily he hadn’t come across that problem. “Haku? I don’t understand how he did…but, I don’t understand the spikes thing either”, he sighed, feeling a little lost before looking to Takeshi again, “I am glad to have friends like you, though. Helping me like that. I’m too much of a danger to my people just now, I mean…the General would had been worse. Imagine if he gained this power instead of me, along with space travel. You would have terrible foe”.
Viral didn’t so much blame Vegeta for his lack of medicine than his education on the matter, always believing he knew what was right when he had no idea what he was supposed to give into other types of medicines. It wasn’t as if he was able to solve his problem immediately, he really didn’t know much other than what was happening after all. Frowning as he stared at Yumi he soon sighed, “If you think you can, then fine…convince him! He’s the kind to treat a broken leg with calculations and theories before setting it himself without medicine…” Feeling a little distracted by a combination of the pain and negative thoughts he frowned when Yumi decided to take a seat beside him, letting out a sigh as he looked away again. If she could do that then things might get a little better, maybe he’ll even be able to relax himself out of this form rather than having to rely on any embarrassments, maybe he’ll be able to sleep finally without any horrible nightmares or voices keeping him awake. “Shame he’ll probably see me like this…and question why. Hmph, this is my life…thinking about medicine and worrying over my looks. How pathetic…”

T’charrl liked Yumi and she always seemed to help her, something he’d need to repay back to her eventually. She was kind to him and even if she did tend to shout at the others she always seemed to know the right thing to do. She reminded him a little of what his mother was like, but he probably would never tell her that. Looking to the door as Takeshi signalled Shu and Haku to leave he looked back to Takeshi with a confused stare, tilting his head before giving it a scratch, “I guess so, but there’s so many that are the same as you guys”, he spoke, looking down at his body, “I’ve not seen anybody with many arms like me”. While it was normal on his planet, even with the animals, it certainly didn’t seem to be normal out here. It was just so much easier to move and grab onto surfaces with four arms so it was no wonder they all seemed to struggle in his native forests. Giving Takeshi a little nervous smile he nodded, slowly moving out of his own room, “Okay, that will be good. I will be happy”, he spoke, looking back to Takeshi, “I’m sorry you are all having to do this, I mean…you didn’t have to, but you are which is nice of you”.
Viral let out a grumble, slowly rubbing his head, “Yeah, yeah! I’m not reliable, I get it! I just hate that it’s a fact”, he spoke quickly, getting annoyed at himself for being so unstable and unpredictable. He couldn’t look after himself at this particular time and to OD to a bunch of pills would be a very dishonourable way to go; however, if he couldn’t control himself then it would feel as if it was some foreign entity that was trying to kill him. Sometimes he wondered if he was actually possessed, but then again he was just being paranoid and those awful voices probably had everything to do with his paranoia. Watching as she decided to stand he decided to move further along his bed, eventually climbing completely on top and sitting close to his pillow, “It’s not even a mental pain and I know it…but anything to kill muscular and bone pain I’ll be happy with”, he spoke, giving his head another rub, “It’s like a constant knife in my skull…and my neck hurts. There’s a reason I have a thick neck in my strongest form and I definitely don’t have it just now! Have you ever had to carry two sledgehammers on your head? Of course not, that’s a stupid question…”

T’charrl didn’t know how he would get used to walking like this in this form, his sets of arms being pretty widely split apart compared to his other forms and what he was used to. He didn’t like it and certainly didn’t see the benefit in it, but at least he still had a means to grab things with his secondary set. If they were set to constantly touch the floor then all he had was a better chance to block his lower half, his power mainly concentrated to his upper abdomen. He certainly felt imposing, but unfortunately he also felt too close to what the General turned into with his large muscles and deformed body. He did have that feeling of self-consciousness that came along with it, but maybe it was because he wasn’t using it to fight yet. Frowning as he looked down at himself his eyes soon returned to Takeshi, giving a little nod, “I-I suppose, but…maybe she might not like what I…you know, look like now”, he spoke calmly, sighing, “I mean I know I’m as, uhh…’alien’ as the other crew you picked up…not like you”. Staring down at himself he frowned before looking back to Takeshi, shaking his head, “Uhhh I’ll be alright. I got energy now. I’m just a little tired…”
Viral really did have quite a strong hatred towards anything medical, but he could recognise when it was something he really needed and right now he couldn’t do without it. He was suffering and that wasn’t his fault, especially when it was something beyond his control. He had little chance to cure himself so he had to rely on medicine, but he couldn’t stand what it did to him. He was a wreck because of it in the first place, he couldn’t even fight, so now it was either have that available to him or die in the most awkward way possible. It made him feel as if everything was simply for nought whenever he tried to get better, creating a reliance on something that was simply painful to go through. When Yumi presented him with the question of will he gave her a pretty long stare, eventually sighing and looking away, “The trust you people have…but, it’s not as if you’re wrong”, he spoke lowly, giving his head a short shake, “I’m surprised anyone can lend their trust to me with things like that”. Feeling a little uncomfortable he decided to slowly stumble towards his bed, not really willing to walk like an animal when he was trying to justify himself as being normal, slowly sitting down on the edge of his bed, “I will! I don’t want to look like a fool and overdose on basic medicine. I don’t want to carry on having these headaches when there’s an easy solution to get rid of them for a while…”

T’charrl certainly was confused and even though Takeshi and Shu were trying hard he couldn’t do anything but stare at them. He didn’t understand what they were saying and didn’t know if he should be concerned about that, but maybe he’ll find some way to remember what he looked like, feeling a little lost whenever he tried to think about it. It was so hard to explain how he managed to lose himself so badly, but of course he lost his mind almost completely when he changed first time, his name being the only reminder to who he was. Looking between Shu and Takeshi when Shu tried to explain his looks only to fail completely at recalling, giving a little smile, “Yumi? She is my friend too”, he spoke, placing the empty bag to the side, “I suppose. She should know how to help. She seems smart like Mother”. Slowly pushing himself off his bed he used his lower claws to support himself, looking down at his body before he sighed, “Really not a form for normal…things. I still feel weird…umm, you sure she’ll be okay with us going to see her?”
Viral let out a groan, shifting on the spot a little, “One big cure is going to take a long time and I don’t have a long time to wait”, he spoke, moving his paw around to give his back a scratch, finding having all this fur was giving him annoying urges to groom. He really didn’t want to embarrass himself but his mind wouldn’t settle down, making him feel close to being seen as a cat rather than who he really was. Grumbling away as he continued to scratch he looked away again to stop himself from swiping out at Yumi’s fist in an attempt to catch it, “All of you think I’ll overdose on purpose! I wouldn’t do it on purpose…I’m not…stupid…” he snapped but soon went quiet, looking away from her in a form of quiet contemplation. Of course he wouldn’t do it on purpose, or at least he didn’t think he would. There was the chance that he might get desperate and take some more pills, but only if he was completely out of his mind. Feeling pretty unsettled he decided to slowly stand up, his back slightly arched forward, “At least tell him to get me some painkillers if he refuses. Something to really numb the pain. I don’t care if I start seeing colours everywhere, I just want it gone. Shouldn’t wake him up now, though…hmph, really shouldn’t do that. He’s going to screw up if I wake him up and he can’t work properly! Not that I’m paranoid or anything…hmph, I’m anything but paranoid, I just…can’t risk it”.

T’charrl didn’t want to insult Takeshi or anything, but with the way things were going he was slowly starting to get him all flustered. He felt bad for being a pain to others, but of course he knew he shouldn’t when he was supposed to be learning and wasn’t doing it on purpose. Looking down at his claws he contemplated over what Takeshi meant by a thumbs up, not entirely understanding it but was giving it a shot as he made a strange gesture involving his claw, his other two fingers simply vanishing from sight in amongst his fur. He might as well had been sticking up any other finger and it still would look near enough the same, not really giving the same impact a real thumbs up might. Lowering his claws again when he realised he was probably going to irritate Takeshi by copying what he’d seen before he gave a little smile, “Just trying to understand it, that’s all. I don’t mean any harm.”

T’charrl didn’t find Takeshi too confusing, but when it came to Haku he was especially curious to his true meaning in his words. There had to be more to what he was saying, but he couldn’t figure it out no matter how hard he tried to think about it. Staring at him it seemed he didn’t fully know Yumi’s name, finding it odd that he would think it was Yuki when they didn’t sound the same, especially to him. “Uhhh, I-I don’t know…I know I’m not a girl”, he spoke, feeling unsure to what he meant but figured it he meant the same gender as Yumi. Staring at Haku, he tilted his head a little, trying to figure it out as he narrowed his eyes before gasping as he was suddenly disrupted by Takeshi, his eyes quickly going to him instead, “I-I don’t even…understand…” Whatever had brought that on had him confused, even wondering why it appeared to be causing great discomfort to Haku to be lifted up like that. Maybe it was something to do with the legs hurting, something like that.

Shu really had no idea what Haku was saying, but it certainly sounded interesting when it brought out such a reaction from Takeshi. Tilting his head a little he soon smiled once Haku was brought back down, not exactly feeling sorry for him when he was such a meanie in the first place. Turning his attention back to his friend he gave a quick nod in delight, bouncing a little at the encouragement he was being given, “Uh huh! Back to same as before!” They were so close to being able to get him to normal form, even if he appeared to change out of it rather than remain in that form. Even if he could control himself to the point where he could remain normal he should be fine, his main curiosity lying in whether whatever happened to him before had anything to do with it. Hopefully that wasn’t going to happen again, especially when it was so painful looking. Looking back to Takeshi he gave a smile, bouncing on his toes a little, “Ooh! Ooh, I could try!” he spoke quickly, looking back to T’charrl, “Ooh! Skinny arms, taller than me, big eyes, skinny body…I nearly squished you when we first met, so a lot skinny…umm…I don’t notice looks very well, but you were not same! Not same, maybe…maybe memories? Maybe Miss Yumi, she was with when happen…maybe it possible to go backward? Back to other forms, maybe? Then back to normal form? Ooh! Where’s Miss Yumi?”
Viral didn’t see how Vegeta could hurt him while trying to deal with mental symptoms, feeling that it was all just for nought anyway so there was never going to be harm done in the end. He was not going to care if anything went wrong when dealing with his mentality, it wasn’t as if it wouldn’t be his own fault for being too stubborn to accept the help in the first place. He didn’t get enough treatment first time round, now he was struggling to contain himself. “Vegeta just doesn’t want to admit he doesn’t know what he’s supposed to do about it, but everyday these headaches make me wonder if he’ll ever suck up his pride and just try to make it better. I thought Ikura gave him advice about it”, he spoke lowly, giving his head a slow shake, “Even just a little bit of assistance would keep me content”. He didn’t care enough for his wellbeing so long as it made him feel better. He wanted to be completely independent and not have to be constantly watched over like a child. “Unless you’re planning on punching Vegeta until he gives you the code, I doubt doing that would work”, he grumbled, not looking too pleased with Yumi’s lack of thought behind her words, “You could try that, but I doubt they’ll want you to know without consulting Vegeta about it first. Even if you did punch them into submission, you can imagine they would tell him after. Think if we threatened Vegeta he’d give me them…hmph, maybe that’s too cowardly…maybe you can threaten him”.

Now that was just going to confuse T’charrl, wondering why Takeshi did that kind of thing if it was a bad thing to do. If punching people wasn’t a greeting and was something that was generally considered rude then it wasn’t much different from his culture, probably the best way to look at it. Scratching his head a little he tried to think around it, frowning slightly at the revelation that he really didn’t know much of at all anything about their gestures of friendship or simply greeting someone. “So…you still wave to talk, right?” he frowned, trying to think it all through, “I know what a lot of words mean…I think. I mean, they are in correct way, right? Don’t know what some words that are by themselves mean. A phrase is easier than a word. You know! You know. Know? Uhh…to…understand…but to you…”

Everything was so hard when it was by itself, making him feel a little concerned that he was not trying hard enough to learn a foreign language. He was doing his best and using every opportunity to use it, even listening to everyone talk helped a lot. He wanted to go through a lot of the words he was actually saying instead of going by phrases, probably why he was picking up on phrases the most and annoying Takeshi. It was certainly rather difficult when he got down to it, but he really was putting a lot of energy and time into learning the basics. Trying to think through it all and concentrate beyond the banter he soon looked up at Haku, staring at him curiously before tilting his head, “Huh? Uhh, woman? Uhh…” he stumbled, feeling really confused now, “Pretty…uhh, pretty bright? I don’t understand, who is Yuki?”
Viral didn’t have much faith going right now and was just relying on everybody else’s word to help him get better, but even then their words weren’t going to make him any better. Talking about it was all well and good when people listened, but it was only Yumi who was making an effort beyond making tests to check for any physical problems he may have. If anything, he was feeling worse than he did before and was just getting even more anxious about his future. If this was him now and they were only getting started then he worried about his sanity as they continued, but maybe he’ll get ever so slightly better once he was back on a planet’s surface. Nothing was good about this and he was constantly sore and struggling to function properly. “I doubt it. He just doesn’t like what he can’t understand and one thing he doesn’t understand is mental anomalies”, he spoke, giving his head a brief shake. If there was one thing Vegeta didn’t like dealing with it was mental problems, especially given his treatment of his PTSD. He hadn’t even touched on it for the longest time and was even limiting his medicine. Watching Yumi get up he gave her a long staring at, narrowing his gaze a little before letting out a sigh, “You really think he’ll trust me with medicine? He keeps it in his lab…away from me”, he spoke, slowly scratching his chest, “The only way to get it would be to sneak down there and I’d rather not…besides, I don’t know the combination for the door”.

T’charrl thought Takeshi was pretty funny in his mannerisms, but he was very simple and it was easy to take note of his speech patterns when he talked so often. The others all had their own way of speaking and Shu’s was definitely the easiest to follow, but even then he understood Shu didn’t talk like a normal person too. Smiling at Takeshi he looked down at his own claws, flexing them a little before looking back to him, “You talk by punching? Is that a, uhh…a normal thing?” Takeshi was a little confusing at times, but that was definitely a pretty violent way to talk to people. Eating at his fruit he stared at Takeshi as he made a bit of a fuss about his speech patterns, finding it pretty curious that he would, “Be myself? But then I’ll never learn how you people talk”, he spoke, looking down at his fruit, “I’m not even very good at talking when I’m at home, you-umm…to my understanding of myself. I don’t know how Mother thinks I’ll be in front of a whole planet for talking”.

Shu didn’t understand Takeshi’s annoyance over T’charrl’s way of speaking, especially when he had been trying to copy other people for a while and it wasn’t as if he didn’t do it himself. Bouncing a little on his feet the entire time T’charrl and Takeshi were talking he quickly looked to Takeshi when he was questioned, smiling a little, “Ooh! You talk a lot!” he nodded, looking between him and T’charrl, “You have been talking all of this time too! All of the time, but is it bad? It shouldn’t be bad, not sure why it bad. Fists do rest of talk! Right?”
Viral gave her a long staring at, eventually slowly looking away and giving his neck a scratch, “Just watch…right. If you say that’s the right thing to do”. It really was just a complete wait and see plan to follow right now, but he definitely didn’t think he had that much of a choice anyway. He would love a release from all of this, just to go and do what he wanted to do and not have to be tied to someone. He was completely wrecked, his mind not functioning correctly and his body trying to hurt him. If only they could all understand how he was feeling and see it as something that needed temporary solutions rather than one single permanent one. Vegeta may not like giving him his pills but they really helped mellow him out and killed a lot of the pain, but of course he had to get permission every time he needed to use them while trying to understand that they were limited in supply. Vegeta would never make more for him, he was too concerned with his own work being better, but he might as well try and rip his horns off before Vegeta decided to give him any temporary relief. “I’ve said a few times, but gave up when he constantly ignored me. I don’t think he believes in the mind malfunctioning or thinks I’m being dramatic”, he spoke lowly, running his claws through his hair, “I do not think there is going to be much for me to do after this other than being constantly spoken to so I don’t lose my mind”.

T’charrl didn’t know if he was doing good or bad by picking up on Takeshi’s speech patterns, thinking of them as correct and easier to mimic when he was stuck for words. If Takeshi used them then they must be pretty common phrases, even if he didn’t fully understand why he said them so often. If Takeshi was questioning him about it then he must be good at it, but of course he wouldn’t know if it was a good or bad thing when it just came naturally to him. “I don’t know why I do. I just…really try to learn a lot”, he spoke as he stared at his fruit, feeling curious about Takeshi’s feelings towards it more than anything, “You seem to speak the most when you’re around me. Vegeta says a lot of words I don’t understand, but you speak in, uhh, simple-like. Easy”. He felt pretty embarrassed when talking about his ability to pick up the language, frowning when his habit of squeaking was brought up too, “Why not? Is it bad that I do? I just wanted to learn and you’re good at talking a lot, you know? How am I supposed to act?”
Viral really hated the fact he got into this mess and was now dragging Yumi down with him, his inability to get her out of this predicament made him frustrated to high heavens. She shouldn’t need to be included in his problem. “Am I not already grounded anyway? The freedom I wanted has been forever restricted, after all!” It didn’t make a difference, all it meant was he still needed someone watching over him and he was now unable to leave Vegeta’s sight incase he sneaks off or changes again. Even if Vegeta was going to see him like this he wasn’t willing to tell Yumi how he managed to change back last time, but it probably wouldn’t matter anyway since he wouldn’t be able to relax like this. There was just pain everywhere and it was making him very angry, but not at Yumi or anyone else but himself. Groaning as he rubbed his ear, he gave Yumi a quick look before looking away again, letting out a groan when she decided to try and persuade him to ignore the voices. It wasn’t something he could just shut off, he wasn’t even sure if it was his own thoughts that were constantly speaking to him and he was just going mad. “I can’t make out what they’re saying anymore, not like before…” he mumbled, rubbing his head, “Getting used to it is a lot harder than normal when I have a constant sore head. Having nothing to do is already hurting me in more ways than one. I don’t think he realise this…”

T’charrl couldn’t say he would be able to control himself without the Spirit, even with his friends there. Back when he received the artificial energy he wasn’t entirely acquainted with them all so it would had been awfully difficult in its own rights. He really hoped when he got back and was able to change back into his normal state he’d be able to explore his people’s past a little more, maybe even find the Spirit’s name as well. The Spirit had yet to tell its name even in his dreams, maybe something it had forgotten along with his inability to recall his true form, “It might be better, just…you know, make things clearer to me than just something really quickly done”, he spoke, staring at one of the fruit he pulled out of the bag before munching on it. Takeshi probably did that really too quickly, so maybe if he tried again it’d be closer to what he meant. Eating away at his fruit he looked back to Takeshi when he began to question something rather odd, not exactly understanding what he meant, “Umm…I do?” he questioned him, frowning a little, “But you say it all the time, so it must be correct. You know your language better than I know your language, so I thought you know more correct ways to speak than, umm…me. You know? Have I been doing bad? I’ve been trying really hard to figure it all out and how I should act, you know…”
Viral had little desire to lay all the blame on Yumi, feeling that it was completely unfair and making her out to be the one completely responsible for his failure. He didn’t need to have her feeling upset and guilt-stricken because of what happened to him and it wasn’t as if he couldn’t change back when Vegeta knew several methods to do so. “He’ll also know I am not someone who would turn down a training session, but…I just can’t do that anymore judging by that experiment”, he spoke, looking back to her, “He might forbid you from looking after me and feel the need to watch me constantly instead. I don’t know how much longer I can take his voice in my ears…hmph. All those other voices haven’t left me yet, you know. I realise why they haven’t…how mad I’ve become with this, where my inability to do what I want is costing me my mentality. I worry to what I’d become when he starts restricting me even more because of that screw up”.

T’charrl really didn’t know what he was looking at in that picture and Shu calling out what it was didn’t actually help. He knew Takeshi was trying, but it was maybe beyond his ability to scribe his own form onto that. “If it wasn’t for the Spirit, I wouldn’t have my own mind after that too”, he spoke, lowering his head a little, “As it grows in strength along with me, the stronger my mind becomes. I haven’t tried to eat anyone when I changed the last few times, right?” he spoke, giving a little smile before it quickly faded again, “I shouldn’t be relying on the Spirit too much, though. I’m supposed to be discovering everything myself”. He didn’t know how he was supposed to explain it fully, but he was trying to get the basics down still. The main point was he didn’t want to lose himself, knowing how easy that could be when he was still attracted to power. He didn’t have too much control quite yet, but it was hard to tell when he hadn’t been near too much spirit energy lately. “Uhh, maybe try again…you know. Do that more, maybe you’ll get it to look like me even more? How tall am I when I’m myself? Just incase I end up turning back into the form I was before…you know, when I was skinny but really tall?”
