Shu was pretty happy right now and was making sure he was getting through all of Takeshi’s hair, even if there wasn’t all that much there. Takeshi was really struggling with how much hair he was supposed to have, he barely had any compared to him and that was pretty concerning for him, wondering why his hair was so short. Squeaking a little as he continued to groom through him he got all excited about the chance of getting groomed himself, hoping it was just as nice as he hoped it was. He had little to stop them from this session, not unless something happened to T’charrl and even then Shu would bug Takeshi forever until he did what he said he would. Even if it wasn’t until they got to the planet he would still bug him for a grooming. Brushing through Takeshi’s hair he looked up to T’charrl and smiled, finding what he was saying to be a little strange. To hit someone just for falling over didn’t make much sense to him, but if T’charrl wanted it to be like that then he was going to do what he wanted, just not at all hard.

T’charrl couldn’t take their energy, not unless he wanted them both to feel drained themselves. It would just be bad for them and himself, the guilt probably being way too much if there ever was a problem with their energy levels because he took too much. He didn’t know how much he could sap in this form; after all, his largest form could just breathe in and steal someone’s energy and definitely didn’t want to accidentally do something like that. He wanted his friends to have a good time, not make them tired and feel terrible. Smiling a little at Takeshi he sighed, “It’ll be fine…I mean, not hit hard, just to me getting up”, he spoke, finding it hard to explain it, “Don’t want to sleep, that’s all”. Feeling a little mentally worn with doing this for so long he was soon starting to see things, more or less his own hands in places they weren’t. Looking to Takeshi again he smiled, giving a little nod, “Yeah, I should”, he said as he lowered his claws down. He could use the break, especially since he had been trying for a very long time now. He’d lost track to how long he had been trying, but even at this point Takeshi could probably draw a picture and it’d look somewhat like him. “Do you really think I’m close? You know it’s not going to be…umm, something that will be the same all the time, right? I’m still going to have all these forms somewhere and I have to understand them all, why I changed into them”.

Viral was a little annoyed by her enthusiasm, especially when it was essentially about killing things for food. He didn’t see anything exciting about that, it was something that was more relaxing for him than anything and gave him a challenge. Yumi didn’t need the techniques he knew about when she had Ki. He enjoyed being amongst the wilderness and the peace it gave him, even if he was out there to kill other creatures. He would certainly enjoy himself more if he was by himself, but that wasn’t something he could do when he had a pretty terrible condition that could easily get worse. Letting out a grumble he picked up a couple of weights, glancing at Yumi, “I’m don’t care whether you mess up”, he spoke, looking away again, “There’s a higher chance I’ll mess up because you get too excitable”. Feeling a little annoyed he just quietly lifted the weights, giving Yumi an annoyed look when she mentioned competing against him. Everyone was determined to prove they were better than him at everything, making him feel as if it was all a big game to them and they were all keeping a score sheet to whoever could find the most. “I don’t care what we do with it. They’ll all have plenty to eat, anyway! We can bring it back…but I’m not having it getting burnt to hell if you’re going to cook it…”
Shu always did have a good time having a good search around in the hair of others, even if he didn’t find anything. He grew up with the understanding that you belonged once you were allowed to groom the other and he never got to do that other than to his adopted Aunt. It was something he rarely got to experience and Takeshi always rejected his pleas for social interaction like that, but whether he was just doing it because he was bored or trying to humour him he couldn’t tell. Parting his hair he quietly looked through Takeshi’s hair, brushing it aside carefully as to not pull his hair. Finding it all pretty relaxing he kept pretty quiet, his tail sweeping around as he picked through Takeshi’s hair before squeaking, “I won’t! No bugs, but messy”, he smiled, finding it to be pretty nice. Feeling pretty happy he was caught off-guard by Takeshi’s question, suddenly feeling alerted, “Ooh! Groom me…? Ooh! Ooh! Yes please! I would love groom time!”

T’charrl was familiar with what Shu was doing, but he didn’t think it was something Saiyans also did. It was simple brushing but in a more primal fashion, pretty unusual in a sense. Continuing his training he looked to Takeshi again, giving his head a quick shake, “Uhh no, no…I don’t need your energy…I mean, it’s not that energy. It’s more like…making again of life energy”, he spoke, trying to explain it when he really didn’t know the right words, “Use your spirit energy that you have life for…uhh, my power. I don’t want to take that from you. I’ll get it! Just not had planet energy in long time to feel good about this, yes? Uhh…if I fall next time I try changing just hit me a few times, I’ll be okay…just breaking focus if I do”. He could try again once he gave himself a little more time, not particularly interested in sapping the energy straight from him just to get a little boost. “I’ve got to stop feeling…uhh, too happy about this. It is not doing me any good…”

Viral didn’t get to do much hunting, even when they were travelling while going after the Dragonballs. If he didn’t run into Takeshi he would had been able to escape successfully, he would had been able to use the Dragonballs himself and get his own wishes; however, that was something that was never going to happen now when so many others wanted their own wishes, but then again if this ended up destroying his mind then what was the point on being bitter about it. Sighing a little, he shook his head, “Shu just has a temper. It’s hardly the same thing”, he muttered, feeling a bit annoyed at that comparison when he was often called grumpy behind his back, “The risk with me is not anger, but madness”. Well, Yumi seemed pretty content with going hunting, finding it odd that she would get so excited about it. The reason for her excitement was fairly strange too, seeing how she just wanted to use her senses like a dog. “Hmph! It’s no big deal, you know…not unless you like to be disgusted by certain smells”. Finding it all a little strange he wandered over to the weights, “Fine, I’ll teach you…but if you joke around while we’re hunting I won’t bring you anywhere like that again, got it? It’s a sensitive skill that requires focus and silence…”
Shu was pretty sure he was going to be able to coax Takeshi into a grooming session this time, seeing how bored looking he was with nothing to do. Ever since Takeshi told him off for it he had been waiting for the right opportunity to ask him and now seemed the time, especially when it was supposed to be relaxing and sociable for both of them. T’charrl was too busy to be asked about a grooming session so Takeshi was definitely high up on the list. Smiling away when he waited for his answer he let out a fairly happy squeal when Takeshi agreed. Bouncing on over to him he waited until he was ready before sitting down behind him, squeaking a little when he started grooming through his brother’s hair. He was fairly happy at this point over something so simple, knowing he probably wasn’t going to find anything but still found it relaxing to do.

T’charrl continued to try and concentrate on his own form, looking up at Shu and Takeshi curiously when they finally decided to speak. If he could piece together the missing parts then he would be able to find himself once more beyond the subconscious change he apparently did before. He wanted to find that ability again, it was definitely in there somewhere and he was so close already. Letting Takeshi and Shu get on with whatever they were doing he looked up a little when Takeshi finally decided to speak up, allowing him to relax a little bit more, “Very soon, I think. I can feel it”, he spoke, moving his energy around in his palms, “Something’s missing and I don’t know what. Maybe something as minor as my legs or body…but I’m really close. Think I’m running low on my own energy for something like this, though…”

Viral wasn’t too fussed about exercising when there wasn’t much else other than weights he could use and those were fairy boring. He didn’t want to do some running when Yumi was doing it, but probably more to do with the possibility of her getting distracted and falling off because he was talking too much. Watching her finish up he looked to her with a frown, not feeling too sure about her plan. He didn’t want to endanger her in any way if things got out of hand or end up going too far from the others if something happened. He felt pretty bad about it, limiting fun for Yumi by so much. She would had been happier with that twin than with him. “So there’s a 50/50 chance of something going wrong”, he spoke, sighing, “Takeshi would be more fun than I”. Picking at his claws, Yumi decided to ask him what he wanted to do, his eyes going to her before away again. “What I want? Hmm…” he paused, thinking about it, “I want…to go hunting. I want to hunt the way I want, not with silly powers or whatever. A way even those bugs will be familiar with. I hate all this convenient food, this laziness Humans are so accustomed to! To hunt the weak is in my nature whether you try to deny it or not”.
T’charrl stared at Yumi curiously as she decided to talk about her own mother, finding it fairly nice that she did. While he didn’t know about how his friends felt while listening to the pair, especially considering their particular circumstances regarding parents. He still liked to talk about it, he didn’t get to talk about his family much like this so it was definitely a nice break from the norm. “I suppose so. I don’t mean to worry her, I just don’t want to be weak and, uhh…w-well, I shouldn’t be like that, but being from a family of warriors…” He certainly felt bad about that aspect, but he was really trying hard to fit into his family and not be seen as a weak runt by those around him. He was always thought to be a little strange and didn’t have friends he could play or hang around with when he was growing up. Being a royal meant nothing to others if he was seen as a weirdo with ‘imaginary friends’.

With the revolution that he might be able to remember himself because of his family certain managed to cheer him up, but he couldn’t try it in this corridor since it might take a while. If he could tap into his own energy again and try to use their looks to draw out his own then maybe he would be able to find himself again. The Spirit would also want him to get to work on it right away, seeing how it was misplaced too. It wasn’t all that different from the tree he knew, only this one didn’t have a home except for his body. It was only because of his energy that he could sustain it harbouring his body. He needed to get working on it right away and give Yumi a break, especially with a probably angry Beastman hiding in the room. “Thank you. I will try hard! I don’t want for it to go wrong”, he spoke quickly, immediately turning and heading back down the hall. He hoped it would work for their sake, especially when most of them probably had an aversion to his forms when he did change and not get close to his original spot.
Over the past few days T’charrl had been trying hard to recall his true form, feeling as if he was getting nowhere at first but was progressively finding some little points that he believed he could use to find his own form. Takeshi and Shu didn’t need to be with him, he didn’t know why they wanted to observe his progress but he was certainly being fairly quiet about it too. He didn’t know how they were finding fun in this, all they were doing was keeping him company. They probably had other things to do and other places to be rather than there, his concern for their possible boredom being pretty high as they lay around waiting for progress. He was trying, but all he could do was charge up his energy every so often, investigating it as he tried to piece himself together. There was parts of him that he managed to find, but a few other parts were missing and if he was to be whole and unlock his form he needed to get to that fairly quickly before he lost a lot of what he had gathered about himself.

Shu was pretty relaxed as he remained around his brother and friend, feeling fairly excitable over the thought that T’charrl’s work might come to a close soon. He was sure he was going to be able to do it soon and was willing to wait around, even if it meant he was doing nothing special. He was quite alright with the distraction from himself, especially when it was not something easy he was supposed to be doing himself. Giving himself a scratch before grabbing at his tail he soon began to groom through it, his eyes soon going to Takeshi who was looking at him. Looking back to him he slowly moved towards him, inching across the floor and giving a little smile, “Ooh, you want groom…?”

Viral felt the last few days had been quite troublesome for him, even if Yumi and Vegeta were having a great time investigating him and looking after him. He still felt pretty bad for what happened and wasn’t willing to let it happen again, preferring to keep away from Vegeta as well to save himself from any talks about his issues. He wasn’t very good at this sort of thing and was sure he was avoiding everything because he was afraid of talking about his problems, but he wasn’t going to admit to that. Taking time out away from his room or the lab was pretty essential, but he didn’t know why Yumi decided to drag him back down to the problem area because she thought exercise was essential right now. Leaning against the wall he picked at his claws absent-mindedly as Yumi essentially jogged on the spot. Not feeling all that active right now he glanced over at Yumi as she sounded a complaint, staring at her lazily before he frowned, looking elsewhere, “Hmm, I suppose…” he mumbled, not finding it terribly exciting when the planet hadn’t given him all that much to him first time round, “If you feel safe with me and can rely on me to behave and not freak out, then fine…I’ll go. Unless Vegeta wants me to do stuff with him…seeing how it was his idea to go there to help me in the first place. Can’t go too far away from him, after all…”
T’charrl was quite looking forward to seeing his friends again even if it meant he wasn’t going to have much time seeing them. He still recognised that he was going to play a role in the war against his friend’s enemy and probably wouldn’t get to see them for awfully long if they ever did go back. There was something about coming back after a long trip to see your parents, making him feel all sorts of happy over this realisation. It was going to be nice and maybe the tree would be kind enough to lend it some fruit for a nice treat with his parents, hoping it had forgiven him for causing such a mess and making part of it the centre of attention in a foreign city. That was pretty embarrassing and no wonder it was angry at him. He could still barely believe he went from having no friends apart from the tree to many all around him. “She does care for me, she just shows it through hitting me”, he smiled before sighing, “I never did mind it, but she’s so powerful and scary when she’s worried…”

Hearing Yumi tell him he looked like his father made him smile a little, his mind wandering to them again. He didn’t think that he would look like his parents or at least hadn’t thought about that kind of stuff in a while, feeling pretty warm because of it. He was sure he was missing something when it came to looking like his parents and how it made him feel, thinking he was getting something from it. Tilting his head a little he gave it a little thought, his eyes soon going to Takeshi and smiled, “Yeah, we could be together, connected…” he spoke, looking back to his claws as he tapped them together in anticipation, “Those who love the sun and those who love the dark all together and happy. I just worry about what the future holds for my people as we grow strong together”. It was pretty worrying if more people like him started coming out and showing they too could manipulate natural energy and talk to the dead, especially when they were living in fear of those who might persecute them for it before. Frowning at this realisation he lowered his head slightly, feeling worried. “Mother and Father…you think so too?” he spoke up, giving him a little glance, “Photo…? I don’t-…umm, you really think I look like them? That makes me feel…warm inside. Do you think…maybe…if I think about them I can change back that way? Takeshi! We should go back to my room to try! Yumi, uhh, t-thank you for giving me idea. I do feel something in here when thinking about, must be key…you think maybe?”
T’charrl was alright with her having a bit of time to think over it, it wasn’t as if she was being demanded her time and could decline if she wanted to. He was pretty nervous about all of this and wasn’t feeling all that confident that he’d be able to remember fully, even with her help. It was a lot to demand from him and he was feeling pretty guilty, especially when he hadn’t done much for her lately. It could be either quick and there would be no real difference or anything, or it could be long and she would continue until he finally found what he was looking for. He didn’t even know if he wanted to change back anymore, he was considerably weaker in his normal form and it would probably hurt them more to have a little weakling on their side; then again, he didn’t know the nature of his change. He was mutated which meant his body would react differently to other members of his race with similar talents, or at least his ancestors who used it for battle frequently so of course there might be differences. Staring at her as she described his past experiences with her he smiled a little, scratching his claws together, “I remember…I was, uhh, hiding with my eyes closed”, he smiled, giving a nod before sighing, “I’m not sure what else can help. I know I was there and I see them too, but there’s just a darkness around me that I can’t see through. A deep hatred for me existed before this happened and it’s clouding my vision”.

T’charrl was trying to remember all of that and if he could get passed the block then things would be so much better. This must had been hurting his friends too with their frustrations building over their lack of understanding to what he needed to remember. He didn’t know what he needed to do either and that frustrated him greatly so he could understand if they were as well. Sighing a little he looked to Takeshi, frowning a little as he gave his head a quick scratch, “I do miss Mother and Father”, he sighed, giving Takeshi a little smile, “My mother hits me all the time. Maybe you’re just unlucky when it comes to women, or maybe you take the hit for someone else”. He didn’t know why Takeshi always got beaten down by the opposite gender and had seen it a few times, but he did notice that it was fairly isolated. “If it’s anything, she will probably hit both of us if I don’t see her back in my normal form. Hmm, I wonder how they are getting on…I mean, they’re probably doing good, but would I be making them upset if I have no control at all to the point where they don’t believe I can do what they want me to do?”
T’charrl felt like he was intruding by asking her this, seeing how she was obviously wanting to be with her friend but was reduced to seeing to him and about his appearance. He always felt bad when someone was more concerned with him than what they were actually doing before, knowing he was supposed to be patient regarding others. It was difficult to keep out of other people’s business when everyone seemed concerned about him, but then again it wasn’t as if he could blame them when he was essentially a monster. “Umm, i-it’s just an idea. Something to try and see if it works first”, he spoke lowly, looking passed her a little as she closed the door. He didn’t know if this was a good idea, he felt pretty guilty now knowing that Viral was in there all alone now while he was taking up her attention. Giving his cheek a little scratch he looked down at himself when Yumi tried to describe him instead, not really giving him much of a clue beyond colour and size so far, “Umm, okay…smaller, different fur…” he mumbled, not really imagining that too well. Looking back up to Yumi when she continued he smiled a little, knowing he was getting a little bit more information but was trying to be polite in saying he still didn’t have much of a clue. He could imagine it, but all he did was manage to get the image of other Kaesstrians rather than himself. “Umm, it helped…a little. Only thing is…all I’m seeing as my own people in that colour”, he spoke with a smile before sighing, “It’s always been a problem. Always someone else in my place. I can’t remember what I’m supposed to be. I can remember everyone else around me, my friends and family…but…well, you see my problem, right? It’s like a block I can’t get around”.

Viral continued to listen into the conversation, finding it a little annoying that they decided to come to his room in the first place for something like this. There was plenty others who could tell him these things so he didn’t know the logic of coming to his room or waiting for Vegeta to wake up. Slowly moving around from his spot to get listen better he soon heard Yumi closing the door instead. Growling a little he jumped up and around towards it, sitting in front of it before pressing his ear against it to try and continue listening. He didn’t want to lose his mind in his own room because there was nothing to distract him from everything else, finding it all to be a little worrying when it was so easy to lose it. This was probably the most difficult part of keeping his mind together, especially when everything that was going on was unclear to him right from the very start.
Shu gave a quick smile to T’charrl, seeing him all retreating into his fur to hide from the surprise. Despite the size of his friend he was still pretty shy around the others, but he couldn’t blame the guy. Even he was still shy over his own looks and T’charrl was constantly changing so it was no wonder the guy was a little shy at this point. He wondered how his mother might react upon seeing her son again, knowing he wasn’t going to be completely the same considering what they saw earlier. If Yumi could help him then that would be great, so long as she wasn’t all busy with Viral with something. Tilting his head a little as if trying to see passed her he soon bounced a little on his toes, smiling when she gave him the answer, “Ooh! You’re in his room. You got lost!” he bounced happily, not seeing anything strange about it. If Viral wasn’t in his room then that was okay, he was just curious to his location since he was expecting him to be in his own room.

T’charrl didn’t know whether it was safe to come out of his little retreat until Yumi sounded like she had calmed down after her little kick, but luckily that happened pretty quickly and she seemed generally pretty happy to see them. Slowly lowering his claws as Shu chatted to her he looked between the pair curiously, frowning a little when Shu ran his mouth off to Yumi. He didn’t want to interrupt anything and it wasn’t as if he couldn’t smell something funny from the room, or rather the smell that had rubbed off onto Yumi. She was lying about Viral for some reason, but he wasn’t going to say anything about it when he knew the Beastman could be dangerous if he got angry. Slowly brushing his antennae back he decided to stand up a little, keeping to a crouch with his claws close to him, “U-Umm, well uhh…i-it’s hard to explain”, he spoke, lowering his head a little, “I have found my true form, but I need to remember what I look like and, umm, they did try, but…umm…” Looking to Takeshi, it seemed he was going to be his saviour in all of this and give a clearer explanation to his problem, looking back to her and giving her a smile and a nod. It was hard to describe such a specific amnesia, especially when understanding it right away was a problem, “The General’s energy really hates me, so I can’t remember”, he smiled a little, “I want to be able to remember again”.
T’charrl didn’t like how Takeshi was talking, especially when he was supposed to have gotten over the whole association with being a thing over actually having a conscience even when he was changed. Takeshi would forever see him as some sort of overgrown thing by the sounds of it, a break from all of this not being granted anytime soon when he needed it. “Just different…umm, but I am still who I am before. Not much changes except my body and kind of my mind, but not much anymore”. He was feeling a little bad with all of that bugging him so much, everything not giving him the break he wanted anymore and was constantly hurting, but maybe that would all go away eventually once he had better control. Sighing a little, Takeshi bragging over his power being suppressed didn’t give him a clear answer or a good argument at that, finding the statement to be a little confusing, “You held back even when your friends were in danger? I’m not sure about that”. Finding Takeshi getting increasingly nervous over his own words he frowned a little before looking to the door once they finally arrived, not feeling sure about opening it immediately. With a sudden show of surprise T’charrl bounced back as Takeshi was immediately kicked by an unknown force, hiding behind his furry arms to protect himself if one should come after him.

Viral didn’t know how to feel about the increasing closeness Vegeta and Yumi would be taking, feeling that it was a wasted effort if he was normal again. It only seemed to be during heightened activity that he acted out, especially when he was changed and his activity level increased with higher energy. He felt too much like a burden since it meant both Yumi and Vegeta were not going to have much of a social life around him. He couldn’t see either of them acting casually around him like there was nothing wrong, the focus of the topic always being on his health and how progress was being made. Sighing and giving his head a shake, Viral lowered his head slightly only for his ear to twitch, his eyes immediately going to the door when he realised someone was there. Apparently Yumi had noticed it too, sending a flying kick straight for it and smacking whoever was once there in the face. Not in any mood to get seen he immediately leaped off his bed and headed straight for the corner, trying to keep out of view.

Shu squeaked when the door was opened and Takeshi was greeted with a flying foot, bouncing back a little as Takeshi hit the wall before making his way over to him quickly. Deciding to give him a poke in the face for a few seconds, Shu looked up to Yumi and smiled as she seemed to be in a fairly good mood too, “Miss Yumi!” Squeaking, Shu bounced on over towards Yumi and held his hands together, “Miss Yumi, we were wondering if you…umm, well! Friend T’charrl! Friend changed again but he also changed into normal! Friend can’t remember how, but Friend did! Friend changed to what he is now, but we were wondering if you could help him maybe change into normal again? He no remember, no remember! Not know what he looks like anymore to change back and that’s sad so maybe Miss Yumi can help Friend T’charrl maybe, yes? Takeshi tried with scribbles, but it didn’t help a bit, so maybe Miss Yumi can? Why you in Mister Viral's room with no Mister Viral...?”
Viral gave her a long stare as she only got frustrated, watching how she reacted before letting out a groan of frustration. He felt that his looks could had been fixed up if they were investigated some more, but right now he felt embarrassed by it and was constantly reminded that he screwed up pretty badly. It was going to feel the same when he felt like he was carrying around a bunch of accessories, but a lot of these were impossible to hide. He couldn’t hide his tail or horns when he was normal, maybe the fins but even then it was a minor detail compared to these things. He did notice he would get stared at sometimes and it did make him feel pretty annoyed, but he felt like he couldn’t blame them either when he looked so stupid. Staring at her as she tried to make him feel better it felt like it wasn’t going to work at all, frowning when he was seen as vulnerable even when it wasn’t put into words. Yumi offering to be his babysitter meant he was practically going to have his hand held all the way with this, not finding it particularly appealing at all either way. Sighing he lowered his head, shielding his eyes slightly with his paw, “This is already overbearing, but maybe you can ease that slightly”, he spoke, soon growling as he looked away, “I don’t know about you sleeping in my room to watch over me, though! Especially with how I am…which is what I was getting to. I’m dangerous when things go quiet and you’ve seen that. I don’t know what you’ll do when you wish to sleep if I’m like this. You two taking shifts just feels freaky to me…”

T’charrl wasn’t a stranger to fear by now, even if he was still pretty sad that it had to be directed to him when he was considered puny and weak before. He was a bit of a mockery to his enemies back on his home planet, even if they planned on ultimately using him in the end for power. He was very different to the rest of the crew so sometimes he did feel a little like the odd one out, even with their reassurances that he wasn’t all that different to a strange talking animal. “Saiyans must look like many races because your planet was not filled with them”, he spoke, giving a little nod but ended up looking a little upset when Takeshi called him out on his mutation, “I-I’m not going to! I’m not a bug-thing either…uhh, am I imposing right now because I’m…uhh, bigger?” He felt very unsure of himself on that one, feeling that he was unpredictable in the end and just prone to scaring Takeshi. He felt pretty bad about that one but it wasn’t as if it was anything he could help; he just needed to stop changing, that was all. “But you weren’t recovered and who knew if you would get your strength back too, you…umm, know what mean, yes? Our weapons are strong and you could not move well. If what happened went bad, you could would not stop him. You should not think you can beat everybody. Could you beat me?”
