Shu wasn’t sure if Takeshi was trying to reassure him that everything would be okay or if he really believed the treatment would work for Viral. It was hard to say if Viral was actually going to get better when he had no idea what Viral actually acted like when he was normal, whether this really had been going on since he was released all those years ago. It must’ve been surprising to Viral, but also frightening. To forget everything about your life and who you were before must had been traumatic enough to make him an angry person the rest of his life. It must had been a pretty bad life he started off with and that made Shu feel pretty sad. He did thought it was just part of his personality, but apparently according to the man who created him it wasn’t. Sighing lightly, Shu looked to Takeshi as he got all nervous about the ship moving. “I-I will still try to fight! I can’t…I can’t be weak forever…”

T’charrl knew he should feel nervous but he was really struggling, worried he might be lacking something because of his own mental state. He could feel everybody feeling nervous themselves, but he was feeling annoyed at himself for being so selfish and only thinking of his own problems. He was supposed to had gotten over his own problems, but hearing people speak like that about him only made him feel terrible about himself. He could only hope he wouldn’t disappoint people, but he hoped it would be under his own power and control just to prove them wrong. “I’m not that strong, I’m just a pretend type of strong, using someone else’s strength as my own”, he spoke, shaking his head and looking away, “It will probably happen anyway, knowing me. I’m not very good at control and they know that. Maybe I will stay in control…but probably not…”

----

The state of the planet below wasn’t something Shu wanted to think about, only hoping what he might see was just debris and not death and destruction. He had enough of that in the past and seeing even more was going to make him feel fairly sick and probably put him off coming out of the ship altogether. He was scared that he might end up unable to do any fighting at all, or anything else in the future with everyone all because he was a coward. He really needed to harden up and forget about these things, he had seen a lot of bad stuff when he was growing up after all so this shouldn’t be a problem. Sighing lightly when Takeshi rubbed his back he looked up to him, frowning a little. “Y-Yeah…but I don’t want you getting hurt either”, he squeaked, looking away with a shake of his head, “I should be able to fight for myself! But…I am too scared. Maybe you help me be strong too? I want to be able to protect too…”

As they slowly moved to find a correct landing spot T’charrl wasn’t feeling too good, but in a way that his nerves were starting to take over. He didn’t want to transform, it was very painful to transform and yet everybody was expecting that from him, knowing he was going to disappoint a lot of people if he failed to transform. If this man was as strong as they said he was then he was going to be in a lot of trouble and will probably feel pain anyway. This was going to hurt a lot and what was worse was he was probably going to take in a lot of energy too so the only way he could possibly avoid changing further anyway was to get completely beaten up. He was always going to have to put himself on the losing side and knowing he was going to have to feel a lot of pain for his own good made him feel terrible. Keeping fairly quiet, he shifted in his seat and played around with his seatbelt, anxious to get off.
Shu didn’t think much about Earth when everything else around him seemed more important, plus it had been a long time since he had been there now with all the travelling. He remembered being there for Viral’s party but it felt like so long ago that it happened. He had a lot of time to try and relax but a lot of it was spent in Space and not near his kind of environment at all, now he was having to go into battle with his friends where he could only hope he won’t freak out and lose everything. If he was going to manage then he would have to try and find some bravery within him and finally face his father without falling into the trap of losing himself. Thinking about Earth was slightly distracting, but it was still rather difficult. “What if it’s too late for help? What if I have been not wanting to get help for too long? Mister Viral isn’t getting better too…” Feeling that little bit less in control of himself already he shuffled around with his seatbelt, squeaking when Takeshi helped him out with it, staring at his chest a moment before looking up to Takeshi. “I need to be able to fight too, but…I don’t know. I don’t want to fight Father, but I don’t want to make people always have to protect me…”

T’charrl didn’t know whether he should be worried or force himself to give into the notion that he was just here to be used. They probably would’ve left him behind if he wasn’t unstable, making him feel a little sad to be here if that was the case. Sighing to himself he gasped when Haku decided to sit beside him as if he wasn’t expected it. Looking to him quickly he straightened himself out on the chair, looking to him quickly before away again, shifting his feet. “I-I don’t know what the King is like or what he will say. I don’t know anything about the King or what he is apart from a Saiyan”, he spoke, pulling at his wing a little to get it to align properly in a nervous twitch, “He’s strong, I guess, but…I don’t know. I don’t think he’ll care if you are a deserter other than making fun of you”.

T’charrl couldn’t help but feel pretty terrible about everything, only wondering if he was going to be able to keep it together and prove he was a perfectly able fighter without having to transform. He could surely harness the strength of his transformation, but then again he was completely out of practice with anything to do with his mutation. He was definitely a pretend type of strong when it came down to it and that made him a little upset, knowing he was only strong when he changed. Shifting slightly when the ship began to move he looked to the floor before to Haku, staring at him for a moment before looking away, rubbing his neck. “I-I guess…but I’m not very strong”, he spoke, shaking his head, “I don’t know if I’m going to be any good to be around if this King is strong, not unless I just change and get it over with. Everyone seems to want me to for us to win”.
T’charrl didn’t know whether or not the three knew he could hear them talking about him, but he wasn’t going to say anything. It was pretty obvious when they mentioned his name, he could hear the sound of it from a mile away regarding words that were often said. He didn’t want to talk to them about it, he didn’t want to let them know he was listening in even if it was about him. He was going to be polite and keep to himself, but it still didn’t mean he wasn’t feeling a little concerned. They seemed to want him to change to make the battle easier for them. He was just feeling greatly conflicted at this point, only now wondering if it was the right decision to gain as much power as he possibly could to help his friends. They seemed to want to use him in such a way that would only make him a weapon. He felt a little confused, but he wasn’t going to say anything that would just make him anxious at a time like this. Finding a seat for himself he slowly sat down, adjusting the seatbelt for himself before letting out a sigh, contemplating to himself. He really didn’t know what he wanted or what to think, whether everyone here was expecting him to change and take down the King and were just being secretive about it. He was certainly feeling confused and concerned, wondering if he truly was here for that fact despite being dangerous.

Shu didn’t know how they might fight their father. It was all fine and good trying to reassure him that they’ll be fine, but he really didn’t feel there was a plan. They didn’t have one when the last Elites came to Earth and that turned out badly for all of them with Viral submitting himself in hope that it might save them, but all it did was push them further into the King’s den and have them right in his grasp. They needed a plan beyond just one person making them like that before something terrible happened again. Squirming in his seat uncomfortably he too tried to find distraction in the thought of home, still feeling scared that things were going to get much worse before they got better. Everything was not going in their favour and he could feel his confidence slide away, knowing what everyone was going to expect from him. “Should have…lots of money still…I think? I don’t know how money works all that good…” he sighed, rubbing his fingers together nervously, his eyes going to Takeshi before letting out a squeak when his nose was pinched, his hands going to his nose and giving them a quick rub. “B-But…that’s a lot to help me! I don’t know how I will get help from everybody…I mean, do they know how? I don’t know how…it’s hard to stop something when you’re asleep, you know…”
I'm alright with posting whenever, although not going wild with it.
It had only been a few nights of travel since the last settlement but this journey had felt pretty worth it when the task was to get as far away as possible from the original site he originated from, even if he didn’t know what was driving him away. The journey from what felt like the centre of the world to him had been a long one but a road well-travelled as it only proved to be fruitful. There had been much that was picked up from travellers and the last settlement, but there was still a need to travel and find what might be taking him along this road and passed the strange environments he had never known to have existed before. He had been told the sentinel beings were ‘trees’ by one traveller who insisted on giving him a crooked look when he asked before laughing about something like ‘first time out of the big city’, whatever that meant.

The problem was, this ‘big city’ was probably what he wanted to find by name alone, definitely finding it intrigued him more than anything. It had now been mentioned a few times to him with people looking at his equipment and showing off their own in a pleasant tone. Maybe it had something to do with what he was, maybe it was where he wanted to go and where his function was to be granted.

Regarding function, he wasn’t like others who walked along the roads, in fact he wasn’t flesh at all like they were. Only resembling the fleshy beings so much, he was in fact all machine even down to the hair on his head. Assimilating the fleshy beings, he was one of the Machina that he sometimes saw with the fleshy beings. From what he had observed, they weren’t treated very well or like other fleshy beings nor did they have a face quite like his own. They looked all machine while he looked to be similar to a fleshy being only so far. Maybe that’s why people treated him so well, because he looked like them and made them believe he was like them too. From his number he had created a name much like the fleshy beings carried, only hoping they would accept him more and maybe give him more information to where his destination might lie.

For now, he had arrived in a busy village by the size of it, just like he had been told where he might arrive. It was rather interesting to say the least, but it would only provide him with the rest stop he needed before he had to continue and see what else lay before him. While he didn’t get exhausted like the fleshy beings might from a long journey, he was needing to find time to recharge and maybe even get some much needed oil. He could eat the food the fleshy beings enjoyed so much, burn it up and use for extra energy, but really he just wanted to take in what was around him and relax for a little bit. The village seemed nice enough with all sorts of sounds and people everywhere, but it wasn’t what he was looking for in terms of permanent residence.

Moving around the wandering people who insisted on looking at him at least once, he found a building where windows were limited and would allow him to lean against and keep out of the way of other beings. While he was managing to settle into his little spot, there was a moment where he had a moment’s peace before a strange animal jumped out from inbetween the buildings, causing him to jump back in fright and move away from the corner. He had no idea what that was but it wasn’t after him and was instead going elsewhere, hardly looking like the type of creature that would want a piece of him, anyway.

While that was mildly distracting he saw the people took very little heed of the creature as it bounded through the crowd and off towards someone else, his eyes following it. Well that was something he had never encountered before, but he did recognise that there was probably more like that thing nearby and should probably watch where he was standing. Managing to back away he made a quick turn, feeling a little distracted before he somehow managed to find himself colliding with a Mura that stank strongly of ethanol, one that almost immediately fell over all while he stumbled back himself in surprise.
Shu was having a hard time believing Takeshi, staring up at him with a frown and squeaking when his forehead was poked. He didn’t see any reason that he wasn’t a monster, he wasn’t like other Saiyans and he wasn’t like any Human so he had the struggle recognising himself as anything but a monster. He was not like anyone else and could be destructive and aggressive without control so the idea that he was anything other than a monster was not coming to him. “B-But I-…i-it’s going to be bad, and I can’t control it, a-and…” He felt lost for words and couldn’t excuse himself any longer, knowing it was going to happen. He felt pretty scared, knowing somebody could easily die by his hands if things went bad or he got too out of control. Looking to Takeshi he stared at him for a moment before looking away again, shaking his head. “Can’t do that with Father, he’s really fast and he’ll make us not be together…”

Choi really didn’t like the idea of using either Shu or T’charrl, especially when he knew it would make Yumi very mad. They weren’t to be used, they were still people even if they did have these nasty monstrous abilities. He would count Viral being in with that, but really he was still confused to what that guy was and whether that was just all a part of him and a normal thing for Beastmen or something like Shu and T’charrl had. Viral would probably be happy to throw himself into battle, but looking to Shu he could barely get over the fact that it was his father while T’charrl seemed less than interested yet concerned, but not enough to show he wanted to fight with all his might. “I guess…but still, it seems risky to me. I don’t want to fight either of them myself, but…”

“It’ll probably happen anyway, you know”, Kai spoke up, looking to his brother, “T’charrl just sponges energy so he’d probably change anyway and Shu would get angry again. It’s going to happen anyway”. There was no stopping them anyway, seeing how neither of them had any control over their abilities. It’s not like they had tried to help them either so they were guilty of that, but when it came to trying to it’s not like they knew what to do either. “T’charrl barely seems bothered even when he knows there’s going to be a lot of energy thrown around so he’s probably okay with it, can’t say the same for Shu, though. I’d say watch your tail with him”.

Shu really didn’t know how the battle was going to go other than terribly bad, knowing he wasn’t going to be able to fight very well and was just going to end up making everything terribly bad for himself and others. He wanted to avoid confronting his father, but he wasn’t being given a chance. There was no way he could stand up to a Super Saiyan and Krom, he was just going to endanger himself and everyone around him. Not finding too much encouragement in Takeshi’s attempts to protect him he looked to Yumi when she approached him, staring at her before squeaking when she kissed him. He didn’t feel brave, he didn’t know where Yumi was getting that impression of him. Looking to the others with a quick glance he slowly looked back to Yumi, giving her a nod. “I’ll try…I’ll try. I don’t want to let people down…” Slowly heading in with the others he moved towards Takeshi, looking at the seat before slowly climbing onto it, his toes clasping onto the edge of the seat anxiously as he tried to fiddle with his seatbelt to get it clicked on as Takeshi spoke to him about the future, his eyes going to his hand quickly. “Whatever we want…? Oooh…I would like a room and bed…” he muttered, slowly looking away, “Will I feel better about sleeping by myself after all this too…? This is still scary, too...”
T’charrl didn’t think he was that strong, thinking there was a little bit of exaggeration being put into her words, even if she was being nice. He didn’t know what he was supposed to say about all the flattery, whether she really was trying to encourage him to get stronger. “Show off how strong I am…? Uhh! O-Okay…okay, I would like that. I just hope I don’t scare you, or something…” If he could let Yumi in on his power struggles then maybe he might feel more comfortable discussing them, but until that time he wasn’t going to be able to talk about it very much without worrying he might end up worrying her over words. It would probably be better showing over trying to talk about it, especially when he gets rather nervous when he tries. Turning his attention to Vegeta he frowned at the culprit of the attack, looking to the others quickly before staring back at Vegeta. He didn’t understand how bad it was, but he knew the King was pretty strong. He didn’t know if he should feel left out with all of this, especially when he was the one who had nothing on the King. The King probably didn’t even know his species existed, nevermind him knowing the King back.

Shu was scared and unable to find the encouragement he needed to stand up, feeling completely overwhelmed with bad thoughts over the future. He wanted to find a way to get stronger before he had to go up against his father, but really he was just the same strength as before and hadn’t improved at all. Even if he had been training with Takeshi, he was always the one to lose out and couldn’t keep up with anyone or end up hurting someone in a way he wasn’t supposed to like biting. He found it hard to train when so many things freaked him out. Finding it hard to believe Takeshi’s words he squeaked a sigh, raising his shoulders. “A monster? But…I’m the one who becomes a monster…I don’t know how to feel about that…”

Shu didn’t know how to feel about Takeshi wanting to stand up for him, knowing he was probably going to get taken down by his father too. Takeshi couldn’t take on the two of them, one was surely going to go for him and that would be it. Looking up to him with a heavy frown he soon squeaked when Vegeta essentially told them off for doddling, feeling bad for it. He was holding everyone up with his cowardice. Looking away from Takeshi and Vegeta he slowly stood up, shuffling his feet. He really didn’t want to do this but he had no other choice.

While the twins were anything but thrilled at the thought of battle it seemed Kabocha had a rather interesting thought, both of the twins looking over to Shu before back again. Choi didn’t look too happy at that idea while Kai simply stared at Kabocha questioningly, finding the idea to be somewhat viable. Choi didn’t want to see that little monkey tear into the King even if it was the man they hated, but Kai thought if they could just keep Shu directed at the man they would hopefully be safe to run away until it was over. Kai didn’t know how to feel about T’charrl changing, especially when the guy wasn’t exactly in a ton of control. “Shu is just a one tiny ball of mayhem, but T’charrl is really big when he does, making him a pretty easy target unless he can suck all the energy out of the King too”, Kai spoke, waving his hand, “If he does that, I don’t even know what would happen to the King considering how that General Kaesstrian ended up looking after having his drained the first time it happened”.

“Yeah, but won’t T’charrl, like…mutate more with that much energy? The guy was already trying really hard to get back to normal and if he gets even further away from his original form, then what?” Choi spoke up, shrugging before looking to T’charrl, “Can you imagine him with the energy of a Super Saiyan? He may as well just turn into an Oozaru at this point. Besides…isn’t it…you know, ‘wrong’ to consider T’charrl and Shu ‘weapons’ like this…?”
T’charrl looked down, rubbing his snout. “I-I don’t know…I mean, all I did was tear open the monster after getting eaten”, he sighed, shaking his head, “I only have a lot when I’m-…you know…” He didn’t want it to seem like he had a lot of strength when it was just his monstrous form that did all the work, knowing full well he was not strong when he was normal. He couldn’t do all of that when he was normal and it was only when he transformed was he able to do some real damage to the creature and even then he was exhausted after suffering from a lack of air. Looking to Yumi again he smiled, nodding his head. “Yeah…or maybe a nice big field. Somewhere away from others. I would enjoy training with you”. Feeling a little nervous over the meeting he turned his full attention to Vegeta, staring at him as he tried to give a lowdown on what was happening elsewhere. He didn’t know how to feel about that when it didn’t involve him or them, but he was trying to understand how he might be able to help.

When the aggressor was named Shu immediately felt terrified, knowing he could never fight against his father. He was so weak compared to him and probably everyone else, he could never take on his father and hope to get out without being crushed mercilessly. He wasn’t exactly the man’s favourite son, he wouldn’t spare him a beating even if he did cry for mercy. Shivering on the ground in a bundle of nerves he looked to Takeshi when he gave him a patting, raising his shoulders slightly before gasping when Vegeta spoke once more. So Krom was also there, probably not the best opponent to be with Yamate. He was very strong too and the first time they only managed to get him to back off was when he mauled his face. He couldn’t do that again probably, seeing how that just made Krom scared the first time when it was unexpected. It’ll probably happen again and when it does he’ll probably get completely destroyed. Letting out a squeaking sigh he lowered his head into his knees, his hands still holding his tail.

Choi didn’t really know what was going on but he wasn’t going to fight the King, not even Krom. Krom was the King’s right-hand man for a reason and to fight that man may as well give him and his brother a death sentence. Kabocha may be lucky, he may get recruited again but there was no way Kai or himself would ever have a chance. Looking to Kai quickly Kai also looked to him, both of them frowning before they both turned at the same time and folded their arms. It wouldn’t look good for either of them so the most they could do was instead hang back and hope they were never going to end up having to enter the battle. Maybe Kabocha would feel the same way, but from the sounds of it Kabocha seemed quite alright with fighting the guy. Maybe it was just the pair of them, but they did hope that Takeshi and Shu would stay out in the front and hopefully make them the only ones who would have to fight the King and Krom, maybe T’charrl in there too.

Shu knew he was probably going to fail against his father, there was no way he could win against that man or even hope to fight him off, even Krom. He wasn’t strong enough and had no control over himself, knowing his father probably had a way around his ability. He was ever so slightly freaking out and was having a hard time seeing through any future failure, but such was common for him. He was never really won by himself because he was such a bad fighter and still very undertrained. He was scared that he might be taken again and scared of what he might get told by his father or Krom. They were going to say awful things to him and he knew it. Groaning at Takeshi’s promise he slowly shook his head before squeaking when he was pulled in, looking to Takeshi before lowering his head again, sighing lightly. He didn’t think that was going to be possible, even if he wanted it to be. Things were going to be bad simply because it was their father and with him being as weak as he was he wouldn’t stand a chance. “I’m not very strong…I know…” he muttered before sighing, squeezing his tail, “I’m not a very good Saiyan either…”
Shu looked up to Takeshi with a frown, not thinking he understood why it was scary before squeaking when he was suddenly nudged by him, lowering his head. He thought it was scary because it was sudden and not entirely usual that they would all be called over like this when they had been previously told they were allowed to roam, but this was obviously not allowing them to have free reign over the day. There was a lot of them here too and that made him extra nervous, especially when he wasn’t very good in a crowd. “I-I guess so. I would like to play again…” he sighed, shaking his head, “But if it’s important that we all have to be here, I don’t know if we will get to play after…”

T’charrl was feeling a little nervous talking to Yumi but he wasn’t going to ignore her just because he was struggling to talk to other people. He did like being talked to, but overtime with how he looked and how secluded he often felt from others he still found it rather difficult to talk to others. “Uhh, it’s okay! I mean, I’m not a, uhh…powerhouse. I’m not really strong, I just…have a lot of energy”. He didn’t want to be seen as someone who had strength when he really didn’t, especially when he looked like this. He was only able to use his own energy with great strength and it was that which gave him strength, but he wouldn’t want to call himself naturally strong like the others seemed to be. He wasn’t very good with Ki still so there was always going to be that problem too. He still had to tell the others about his decision and what he was going to do with the spirit, but there really hadn’t been a moment to discuss it quite yet. “Yeah…I would like to train with you. I haven’t done much training myself…” When Vegeta arrived T’charrl let out a gasp and immediately went quiet, moving back ever so slightly. He didn’t know what they were getting called to do but it certainly didn’t look like it would be pleasant.

Kai and Choi didn’t really know what they had been called for but it was certainly putting a dent in their plans. They had a lot to do together on this planet and to be distracted by something like this was proving to be most inconvenient, but if they had to be called over it wasn’t exactly like they were going to refuse to go and not see what the fuss was all about. Turning their attention to Vegeta as he started off they were soon quickly trying hard to be pulled into his little plea. They weren’t interested in that kind of thing and Kabocha speaking up about it made them both feel alright with not feeling up to the task. As they both looked to Kabocha their attention was soon taken back to Vegeta, just to hear what kind of excuse he was giving out for their involvement.

Shu was feeling rather nervous now after hearing that, not really enjoying the look and tone Vegeta was giving. He didn’t know what was happening but from what he could understand there was a really bad attack going on, probably a lot were dead too. That wasn’t good, it must’ve been the Saiyans again. He was well aware that such things were happening across the galaxy but he really didn’t want to be reminded of it. Pressing his fingers together momentarily he gasped when Vegeta looked towards him and Takeshi, looking up to his brother briefly before squeaking when he heard who it was, immediately grabbing his tail and sinking low to the ground. “F-Father…? B-But, I’m not ready to fight! Maybe he’ll just go away soon? I can’t fight him…”
Krom saw no reason to call this planet their home when all the people did was use it as a base for all of their criminal activities, but whatever; if Yamate wanted to give them some dignity then he wasn’t going to question his decision. “I suppose it would be better for us to force them to our side than the Rebels, spare them a better fate than what they might suffer at the hands of Korian. He would turn this entire planet into a prison”. Korian was hardly the kind of guy to treat criminals with an ounce of respect when they had done the Rebels wrong too. Nodding at Yamate’s order he continued searching the landscape for maybe an opening in of some kind, trying to find any alien that he might be able to catch out. There was probably someone out there still that they had missed, he just had to keep searching.

If these aliens didn’t simply throw themselves at them they would have an easier time living, but unfortunately they were going to do just that whenever they came across the pair of them and they were all going to die because of it. They didn’t need to kill them, but if they let them live then they would probably do worse. Taking his eyes off the landscape as Yamate spoke he frowned slightly, disliking how much they were talking about Korian. He didn’t like the man, he saw him as nothing more than a man trying to take power he was jealous of. “With all due respect, Korian is stubborn and most likely won’t want to give up so easily. He will try to pick you off at your most vulnerable moment. Your sons will support his rage…or at least one will. Many still don’t know how your youngest thinks”.

Having been called away from all the possible fun Shu could’ve had with his brother, he still felt a little tense when the request was given. They didn’t really know what they were apparently getting themselves into and if Shu had any guess it was because something very bad had happened and they needed to fix it. The Rebels at the base could’ve done it, but they were the first ones that Vegeta thought of contacting to get everything fixed. He was certainly nervous, but Takeshi certainly wasn’t when he simply saw it as an inconvenience. Shu didn’t mind being called away from their free time, he always did have a lot of free time in his life anyway so this wasn’t going to change much. Staring at him before looking to Yumi, he frowned when he got a look at Kai, Choi and Kabocha being there all along with T’charrl, Yumi and Haku. It must’ve been a big thing if all of them were called, especially when Takeshi’s friends were ex-soldiers. “Uhh, I-I don’t mind what we’re doing, I mean…I would like to play today, but this seems important and kind of scary…”

T’charrl felt confused about the reason he had been chosen but he was the one who could heal and all so maybe that was the reason. He wasn’t terribly good at their style of combat and definitely preferred using weapons so maybe him healing was what triggered Vegeta wanting him here. It may be his only chance to show he could manage himself fine and not have him become unstable again, but he still couldn’t help but feel scared over this opportunity. He was a good fighter, he knew he was, but he was terrible at energy control and made people scared of him. Staring down at himself as the others talked amongst themselves he gasped when he heard Yumi right near him, apparently talking to him. Looking to her quickly he stared at her, scratching his chest. “I-I do? Uhh, everything’s okay with me! I mean, I’m not struggling or anything”, he spoke, looking away briefly as he rubbed his arm, “I-I mean to say, I’m doing well enough. Uhh, good and well. I have not been in trouble lately, for once…”
