Shu felt he was losing Takeshi’s understanding again, even if he was trying hard to keep it clear. He was really struggling to say how he truly felt, but that was always the case. He really wanted to have this problem of his sorted, but sometimes his anger was too hard to control in battle and definitely became overwhelming. While Takeshi just got stronger when he got angry, Shu instead became uncontrollable with his own increased strength. He was a danger to his friends and what was worse was if he got angry by accident he might transform and hurt his friends. It made him feel very stressed out and it felt like nobody was understanding that. “I-If it…if it can be fixed. I’m not sure how we fix it. Make me scared! How do make the better things?” It wasn’t only when he was mad that he changed, he had changed before when he was suddenly stricken with great fear. Sighing lightly, Shu looked to Takeshi when he made a suggestion before he slowly tried to sit up. “You get really mad in battle, though. Who can help me? Is it even worth it?”

Viral couldn’t be bothered arguing with Vegeta over humans and their desire for money, seeing how he had all the money he could possibly want with that company. Humans were simple creatures who had simple desires, mostly desires that had to do with getting as much as they wanted. He didn’t understand Humans very well, but at least he understood how simple minded they could be. He did watch the television sometimes when he was really bored and caught most of the outside world that way, fair denting his view on Humans. They always were fighting over money with the richest nations getting away with everything criminal. “Humans never had money when they were evolving…nor did it become part of their biology. It’s a corruption they’ve carried since the introduction of riches and their species is paying for it with how weak it has made them…”

Despite how bitter he was currently feeling, he was still aiming to try and complete the job at hand so that he could move onto the next task they needed to complete; however, this task was already proving to be a little tough for him. He knew he was stronger than this, but he was failing on a number of fronts that was diminishing his overall strength. Trying for another few was yielding the same results as the first, even as he went down in size with them it was just the sheer effort to try and lift something like debris that was sapping what little strength he had. Going for smaller chunks each time, he found he was straining with the same horrible feeling whenever he picked one up and threw it. It was a horrible feeling in his chest and arms, almost as if pressure was building up on them. He could barely stand it and with the needed removal of a moderately sized but still below average chunk of debris he went to lift it up, instead finding the strain to be too much for him before he let out an angry growl, releasing it and instead throwing his fists down at it which created a loud crunch of a large force slamming into solid concrete.
Shu let out a squeaky sigh, feeling like he was getting the wrong idea with what Takeshi was trying to tell him. He probably didn’t change in the same way he did, he wouldn’t be so frightened and confused otherwise. Sniffling a little, Shu scratched his cheek, still feeling fairly confused over his predicament. “But I never want to hurt anyone! I care…I do…” he squeaked, giving his head a little shake before sighing, “It’s not fair…I want to do lots of good things! I do, but I do bad things more! Too many bad things, hurt friends when change, be monster. Not sure what even am, not sure about anything…”

Shu was just feeling even more confused than when he first started, wondering what could possibly make him feel better at this rate. He was having so many problems that felt like they came from his past as well, all catching up with him as his morale continued to weaken. He wanted to be happy and brave, but he couldn’t forgive himself for what he was becoming and how much of a nuisance and danger he was to everyone else. He really didn’t know if Takeshi was being honest with how he used to change or whether he meant how he could change with the moon, seeing how he was being completely vague with his explanation. Staring at him, he let out a sigh and looked up to Takeshi, only asking for some sign of hope that he was understanding him. “But…it’s unfair. Everybody fine with getting angry, but I no fine. How do we fix me? How? Please say…”

Viral didn’t think too much of himself to find any reason for seeing himself for what he truly was, but of course with the way he had lived so far it was much easier to just see him as nothing more than an extra around the corporation. Vegeta did try to sell him to give him some use which was just enough to solidify his beliefs after so long. He didn’t care, he was over it and all that was left now was to try and pass the time until his genes were fixed. He couldn’t care for the fact that he had PTSD, his mental health shouldn’t be a concern for anyone; all he wanted to do was get back to fighting. “Humans are simple creatures! Throw money in their face and they’ll do anything. That’s just how they are, otherwise they wouldn’t have competitions all the time to bring in more money than they’ll be giving out! They’re easy to understand…”

Viral couldn’t be bothered thinking about humans, especially when he had a job to do. So long as he wasn’t going to find any crushed bodies he would hopefully be fine with what he had to do. Moving over to the rubble as well he stared at the chunks, sighing before looking to Vegeta. He seemed fine with tossing the chunks, not really putting much effort into it too by the looks of it. “Fine, okay…until it’s all gone. I can do that”. Moving to pick up a moderately sized chunk he grasped onto it and paused, feeling lightheaded for a moment before he could even try to lift it. Growling lowly, he sucked it up and simply tossed the chunk in with the rest of the debris being cleared, finding that he was going to have a difficult time with this after all. He hadn’t needed to use his strength in a while and it was oddly pretty difficult to do such a thing.
Cecil was definitely thankful that he now felt completely energised and much better than he did before, but he also had a lot of concerns regarding many other problems he now had to face. He had so many questions and did wonder whether he was going to be able to fight for the others without that happening again, seeing how they were going travelling and this guy was definitely staying put at his shop. Staring at Norman as he gave his legs a short inspection he felt around his chest, wondering what the inside of him looked like briefly. “I-I did use a lot of power earlier…but I had been travelling for months without problems by myself. I only went into sleep mode a few times when it got really wet”, he frowned, staring down at his chest, “I’ve only done some…light stuff…”

Cecil was a little scared after being granted the knowledge that his battery can indeed run out, especially if he released far too much energy at one time. There may be a time where he would cease to exist, where he would be as good as deactivated because his battery ran out. Who would take care of him and give him a new battery when he needed it? Nervous, he frowned as he looked to Amuné with her questions, concerned when she mentioned the possibility of him getting sick again. He didn’t want to think about that, even if it seemed like a quality living beings possessed. Even when Norman reassured her that he wasn’t really sick he still couldn’t shake off the worry all that easily.

While the others seemed happy with his progress, Cecil still had concerns himself. He didn’t want to have to constantly get his battery changed, he wanted one that would always last and never burden anyone again. He was scared of that darkness he faced for just a short time and when it could mean him being taken again it made him all the more scared. Waiting for Norman to be done with scanning him, he slowly slid off the workbench and stared down at himself as he made brief contemplations over what else he needed to feel comfortable and more lifelike, trying to shake off the worry of his battery. He still needed oil, but listening to Ethan made him reconsider speaking up about it. They still had so much to do and it was his fault that he ran out of battery, costing them time and causing them to end up owing this man a lot back.

Slowly moving back he looked to Norman who decided to not charge them for this but instead ask a favour to look for some woman. He didn’t really understand the significance of this, he thought people usually returned after going away for a short time to where ever. No matter, they were probably better going for this woman instead of having to worry about anything else. Deciding he was ready to move he followed on after Ethan, looking back to Norman before they were away off on their search for clothes and whatever else they needed after his short problem. Rubbing his chest lightly he looked up to Ethan when he realised he was being spoken to, giving a quick nod. “Oh uhh, yeah. I’m okay, for now. I just-…I didn’t mean to worry you two”. He felt he should’ve asked the man what his function was and why he was built, but they seemed to be in a rush since Amuné was leaking fluid from her shoulder area and didn’t have great clothing. Any worries and concerns he had would need to be put on low priority until everything else was sorted.
Link couldn’t tell them anything and that was killing him, making him feel absolutely terrible for hiding a secret from them both that could just end with them losing everything. He still couldn’t understand how Demoko wasn’t noticing his obvious lack of soul and Caelan was just an unlucky man getting all mixed up in this mess. He wanted to make it all better by getting rid of the amulet and breaking it open, but he had to wait just a little bit longer before he could do that and even then he would probably have to do it in secret in case there was some light show. They were never going to succeed with him having this disadvantage, especially when he could barely lift a sword nevermind fight the forces of evil.

Staring at Caelan who remained fairly persistent with his plans he raised his shoulders, slowly looking away with little response. He knew he could go and get some supplies, but he would be seen and probably pulled out of the crowd quicker than Caelan could realise he was gone. He didn’t exactly blend in with the crowd and he was wanted, so that was going to be very risky either way. Sighing lightly, he glanced at Caelan again before towards Demoko who decided to give up the little secret to their location. “What? That’s the worst place to be!” he gasped, grabbing hold of his ears momentarily before looking back to Demoko, “The rings barely worked a first time! We were still ambushed and everybody ended up battered and broken…it’s a disaster!”

Link really couldn’t support this decision, but it wasn’t as if he was going to have a choice in the matter when it came to plans and what might happen in the future. Looking tired and defeated he lowered his hands to his side, looking to Regol in some distaste before to the model he was creating. He still didn’t agree with this, at least not until he was himself again. He wondered if Regol knew he was missing his own powers, but then again the guy couldn’t even speak so that was a plus. Looking towards Caelan he frowned, slumping his shoulders. “I guess…we should go and find supplies. Only for a little bit! I-I’m still…not feeling completely myself. Everyone I know got hurt, I got hurt. Fighting just now seems like it’ll just kill me over anything else. How are we supposed to do anything when we have this many people…?”
Shu squeaked, pulling the covers up a little bit. Being in control while attacking and attacking without control was no different to him, he still hurt his friends. If he was able to find some way to find logic in why that happened to him or what caused it, he would be happier; however, as it stood he still couldn’t stop himself from doing terrible things that he had absolutely no knowledge about. He was the worst at helping his friends. “But you weren’t afraid of being bad at hurting friends! I know I didn’t mean to, but…doesn’t help. It could be worse next time…I could be worse. I just want to know what is wrong with me…”

Shu didn’t particularly want to talk about this subject, problem was it was something he was genuinely worried about. He always got told to talk about his problems, but when he did it never seemed to feel better. He wanted to get help, but his problem had been the reason he was experimented on and used by his father. Nobody had anything like it and if Saiyans didn’t go through it then he was completely out of luck to what it could possibly be. “I-I just want to know why…why it happens. I’m scared…” he squeaked, looking up at Takeshi again, “How do you help it? So long since help! How to make it safer too? Do you know…? Why not help before? Why until now…?” Not understanding the reasons for his changes he only found fear in it with every change leaving him feeling terrible. “I’m…a big help? Not like this. I only be help when I get better! But how get better? How you help me so I be big help and not confused?”

Viral shook his head. “It’s too hard to argue on the matter sometimes when you’re so persistent with all these ‘humanity’ speeches you get going with. Until I start experiencing anything like that that’s not forced, I’ll believe you. It’s probably easier to just let you have your naïve belief while I continue to follow along with it”. He wouldn’t mind believing it, but so far everybody on the outside has wanted to use him. He didn’t know why he was always in such high demand, but his power must have quite a lot of potential if everybody saw him as a great asset. Sure, he could destroy very efficiently, but that didn’t give him the answers he wanted and why everybody was so keen to own his power. “Hmph, you sound like you’re the one in denial now. What were you even wanting to be other than a multi-millionaire? Isn’t that every Human’s dream? Have lots of damn money?”

Viral didn’t know how he’d handle doing a cleaning job, especially when this was all after a battle that took place not that long ago. What probably would set him off would be if he found a body in the rubble, even if he heard the Uuonians had a pretty efficient evacuation system. It was still something he didn’t want to see, even if he had seen the dead many times it would probably be the innocent deaths that would set him off. Trying to shake off that possibility he frowned as he looked to Vegeta, lightly dusting his paws. “Being around people is putting me on edge, so the faster I tire out, the better”, he sighed, shaking his head, “I know they’re probably good people, but I can’t deal with it. Also if you spot something I probably shouldn’t see before I do, do get rid of it before I turn around”.
Shu didn’t feel at all comfortable with who he was and definitely didn’t have the confidence to find any method to treat it, only finding that he was ending up fairly down in the dumps whenever he tried to find an excuse for himself. He was a coward, even placing his friends in danger all because he couldn’t fight by himself. Staring out at nothing at all he soon sighed and looked up to Takeshi, staring at him as he tried to be positive and deliver some positive thought. “But…hurt friends…and friends no hurt me, so that not fair. I just want to fit in somewhere…” Sighing lightly he slowly rubbed his head, raising his shoulders slightly. “Everyone really good at fighting! Fighting for me, not being scared. Where do I fit? Not sure where I fit…”

Shu didn’t Takeshi was understanding anything that he was saying, instead simply assuming everything was going to be okay if he pulled out the ‘everyone’s different’ card. He wasn’t very good at explaining his troubles and even with Takeshi trying he was still feeling down. He didn’t like how he had a problem with anger, even T’charrl had learned how to control his affliction while he was left out with his problem he’s probably had since he was a baby for all he knew. “I don’t care about getting hurt! I don’t want me hurting people! People hurting because me! Bad things…” Feeling like he was trying hard to explain himself he squeaked when Takeshi poked him, looking up at Takeshi. Staring at him, he frowned a little before sighing lightly. “I’m not strong, that’s silly. When I beat someone? Everyone save Shu over Shu save everyone. You silly…”

Viral grumbled, waving his paw briefly in dismissal. “The last ten years or whatever, I spent my time being about as good as a household appliance. Does that make me comparable to a vacuum cleaner over a weapon? Besides, I don’t remember being raised, remember?” He was sure he would be better as a weapon over something Vegeta might as well had kept frozen. He would be able to fight, for one. It was always going to be difficult to tell what he truly wanted when he didn’t have much of a chance before. His instincts always told him one thing while everyone told him another thing, making him feel downright confused over what he wanted to believe. “You were never one to do the garden over studying so of course I’m going to insult you. Just because you also like fighting doesn’t mean you’re cut out to working like this. You still go to bed before midnight…”

Moving away from the wall Viral stared at it, looking off to the other walls before letting out a groan. It was hardly something to be proud of, but if it would keep Vegeta happy then he would be happy enough to move away from it. Grumbling as he wiped down his clothes he followed on after Vegeta, not entirely sure he was going to be finding anything that might suit him. There was only a number of things he was going to be able to manage, but not because he lacked the skill. He was wise enough to know he had to stay away from stuff that could hurt others if he became unfocused. Looking down the street he stopped when Vegeta made a stop, looking towards him before towards what he was originally looking at. “Hmph, what? Street cleaning?” he sighed before shrugging lightly, hardly in the mood to protest something that seemed so janitorial, “Fine, I’ll do that. Just don’t get too upset if I don’t seem enthusiastic about becoming a cleaner”.
Cecil was rather nervous even if he didn’t look like it. If he could he’d probably be sweating in fear. It could be the end of him if this guy wanted and to lay down all of this trust in him was particularly risky. Not having the power to give any final opinions, he accepted that he was ready to go before bracing himself for being turned off. Silently gasping when his clothes were being opened he lifted his head a touch to see what was going on, his eyes going to Norman when he spoke to him. He was pretty worried, but he had to have trust in the man who was going to open him up. Feeling nervous, he watched the man right up until his chest suddenly opened up, almost managing a gasp before he was inevitably powered down, his head dropping back once again and life vanished from his eyes.

As Cecil remained offline Norman got to work on the battery, it all unfortunately burnt out after his last stunt. He was completely lifeless and might as well had been only good for parts at this point. Luckily, however, Norman wasn’t planning on taking him apart any further than removing the battery, only becoming a little nosey with his insides. Cecil remained quiet despite the crystal giving off a fair glow by itself. As the power supply was replaced and the nosiness ceased for now he was all placed back together, all that remained was for the power supply to kick in and for him to recover.

After a brief moment of nothing happening, Cecil soon powered back to life. Blinking briefly, Cecil slowly sat up and stared down at himself. Contemplating briefly on his situation he reached up and gave his head a brief rub before looking off to Norman, feeling a little unfocused before letting out a gasp. “I felt weird! Is that what it’s like to be deactivated? I-I-…huh…” Feeling at his chest with his fingers he tilted his head, frowning at first before smiling. “I feel lighter. It’s strange…I mean, not a bad strange! I just-…I don’t think I’ve ever been serviced. Not that I can remember at least. Why did I have such a poor battery…? I’ve been going for months and now-…this is scary. What do I do if I run out again? What if nobody’s around for me? What do I do about that…?”
Shu didn’t know what was wrong with him or how he was supposed to get all fixed up, feeling like he was completely outside the team when it came to everything that made them a team. He wasn’t useful and always had to rely on someone else to feel comfortable. Everyone else could manage on their own but he was constantly holding someone down and keeping them back all because he was cowardly. Side glancing at Takeshi he soon groaned, pulling the covers in a few twitches. He didn’t know how it might get fixed, everything just confused him to no end and there was nothing he could do to fix that. He didn’t know if he ever did that back when he was living in the jungle, all he remembered was how he wasn’t allowed to look at the full moon so they must’ve known only about the Saiyan part of him, not whatever else he was supposed to turn into.

Squeaking when Takeshi gave his hair a ruffling he looked towards him, staring at him as he spoke before looking away again. “Spell it out? Can’t spell…hard to do that! Just-…just feel no like Shu is brave enough! Things get bad, need to flee! It no fun…no fun…” he squeaked before letting out a sigh, raising his shoulders, “I-I don’t feel like-…like I belong. I’m too different from everyone! Other Saiyans don’t do what I do, they not hairy like me. Shu not happy with being different, but don’t know how to not be different. Don’t know what’s wrong with Shu...”

Viral let out a grumble before turning back to the wall, raising his shoulders. “You’re being stupid. Usually you say smart things, but that was just a whole lot of stupid that came right out of you there”, Viral sighed, shaking his head, “You were planned because they wanted a real kid! You didn’t just happen on accident like some slip-up! If you think saying things like that will make me feel better, well you might want to reconsider your thought process sometimes. I wasn’t planned to be some sort of real person is what I’m talking about. I was made to be a weapon, then something changed…I don’t know what”. Moving away from the wall for a moment he grumbled as he dusted down his hands, disliking how repetitive this was. Even if he switched to doing the mortar he’d feel the same way. “Well I don’t feel tired yet. I have a feeling you’ll tire before me, though”, he spoke, placing down some bricks, “You’re going to hate me by the end of this, making you go through all this dirt and pain when I’m still as high as a kite”.
Cecil really wanted to throw some questions the man’s way as well, but he wasn’t getting to do that as his battery was proving too low for such interactions. He could do it but he’d probably be unable to finish his sentence. This man seemed to know a lot about Machina where he only knew he had a functional body and what he was, not really knowing how to use it other than to try and blend in with other people. What he did back there was something he had never done before and went on instinct instead, firing off what ended up being a possibly lethal attack if he put enough power into it. He didn’t know he could do that until it snapped into his programming, but all that meant was he was determined enough to save someone that he activated some sort of hidden ability.

Feeling somewhat relieved that they were finally going to start moving, already feeling his joints start to seize up. It wasn’t really an issue but it was going to make moving in time with Ethan’s steps even more difficult than they were before, knowing he was screwing up a fair deal when he was trying to keep in time with them to make things much easier. Feeling rather worried that he might end up having something wrong with him he could only think of possibly being deactivated behind everyone’s back, only to be told there was nothing he could do to help him. The thought of purposely being deactivated scared him as much as getting destroyed did, especially when it meant his memory would get wiped. He had learned so much in such a short time.

Allowing Ethan to take him he smiled nervously back, feeling not too sure about this man but willing to let him look at him if Ethan was happy to follow. Maybe he just didn’t trust strangers who weren’t authorised to look at his systems having a peek at his insides. Staring blankly the entire way he only looked up to see the shop that the man ran, finding the setting it was in to be rather strange but he did try to not worry about privacy. Staring at the mess before him he looked to Norman who tried to give some reassurances over his skills beyond the mess, only hoping he was the expert he appeared to be. As he was laid down on the bench he stared up at the ceiling before glancing to Norman tiredly, slowly nodding before finally resting his head back. He hoped this would be worth it, not some trap set up by the people determined to capture him for unknown reasons.
Ehh just so you know I will be posting soon, just don't want to make a crappy post since I've been feeling ill and braindead lately.

Probably tomorrow, I'd think.
