So uhh.

I dunno about all of y'all, but I'm waiting for that post Caboose said she'd make cause I can't do much right now huehue
Sayomi was a little insulted that they thought she was anything like the Saiyans, her mentality not really comprehending how they could even conduct such vicious experiments. The fact that they had a subject that may be willing to be questioned and mildly tested upon, tests that would simply regard how he functioned and what helped them fly with those wings of theirs. Staring at Vegeta as he made some further points to whom could be a subject, she slowly sat up again, raising an eyebrow, “Psychotic sociopath? I don’t think I could get any information I need from…a sociopath”, she spoke calmly, looking off to the side, “Changes sound interesting, though. Any race that can change their form are dangerous and formidable, take Saiyans and Frieza’s Race as examples”. Sayomi was well aware that there were levels beyond Super Saiyan and Frieza had left such a mark on history in the past that their entire race was known under his name, both proving to be deadly world destroyers. She wondered about the Kaesstrian’s power too, whether these ‘changes’ could prove to be as strong, “You should be careful; any race that has the power to change can turn the tide in battle quicker than your brain can adjust to the situation; Korian made that mistake with your Beastman friend…and Shu himself”.

Viral wasn’t paying too much attention to what Sayomi and Vegeta were talking about, mainly because Korian had popped up and anything he said was just aggravating and whatever he said was definitely him trying to make excuses to get back into their circle. He was practically begging them constantly to get back with them while ignoring what happened between them, simply going on and trying to sound professional all the way through. Takeshi was too soft on him, there was no chewing out or anger rising, just Takeshi trying to bargain with him and figure out what he was wanting in return for his help.

It was definitely too amusing how easily they were falling for it, but whether this would bring any benefits to them would be something that would need to be seen. Growling a huff as he looked away, he folded his arms as his eyes went to the window. The ships were still out there if instead hovering around waiting for the prompt to go back or to escort them, somewhat annoying since it meant they were all still on watch and suspicions had hardly been dropped that they would indeed try and retaliate. It was most likely because of what happened on their last meeting, seeing as how they were basically carrying around a criminal who was never fully tried for what happened.

With the negotiations rounding up and a deal being made, Sayomi’s attention went back to Korian and she went back to trying to be professional with her work. They would need to find somewhere to land on the planet, meaning they could allow themselves to be open for attack down there too. The thought of that was a little worrying, especially if there were monsters down there that this lot were indeed worried about, “Understood. Leto, Ricken, Sasha. Regroup to your transporter and prepare for landing, immediately”. Sayomi didn’t really feel up to having to repair and repaint a massive flagship when they were in Saiyan territory, but if it had to be done then they would have to put up with it and get it over and done with quickly.

Viral was just getting annoyed for now, all of this was just so tame and there was no mention of anything that happened. He still wanted to get his revenge for what happened and yet they were shrugging it off for paint and a ship touch-up. Staring at the screen, he growled as he moved forward, looking pretty annoyed, “Don’t think this means you’re off the hook for what happened between us! I would had destroyed you first before you could ever defeat me!”
Sayomi seemed a little disappointed by their decline, frowning a little before she shrugged lightly, “It’s not like I would be cutting him up and poking around his innards, just a study on your friend’s physiology, traits and capabilities, but if you insist”, she sighed, shaking her head. She would had liked to study an alien that was essentially an unknown species to the modern age, especially now that they had finally began to travel into space and away from that planet of theirs. The energy always disrupted their own technology and their language was very difficult to read, making it hard to scan them and read up about them from their own perspective, “If I do say so, your friend doesn’t completely fit the description of one, but he definitely is one judging by your reaction”.

T’charrl was feeling a little uneasy, not quite liking hearing only one side of the conversation regarding him and not anything else. Frowning a little, he slowly sunk down towards the floor, barely able to see the screen from where he was but still wishing to hide from it and stay out of the spotlight. It was a little difficult to go unnoticed, even to aliens who probably had seen many strange species before and shouldn’t had been too alarmed at his appearance. Oh well, with that little experiment over to see if he could fit in, his confidence to be around other people dropped pretty quickly.

Viral was not too happy at all, yet still curious enough to listen in to what they were talking about and seeing how things ended up going. He didn’t like the sound of Korian being called in, the whole thought of meeting that man again made his blood boil. He really hoped he scarred him after that battle, the man deserved nothing more than to be shamed for his failure and constantly reminded of it everytime he looked at the scar. ‘Bitter’ was probably not the right word to use for how he was feeling, perhaps even to the point of feeling vengeful for all he had put him through and wanted nothing more than to see him suffer for what he did.
Sayomi was a little surprised to see the kids all out here in a Saiyan flagship no less, something they must had taken simply by chance. It wasn’t possible that they’d be able to take the ship without having defeated an entire army, so there must had been a break where they were able to sneak on the ship and take it that way. That was the only way they could get the ship, no matter what way they put it otherwise. Frowning a little upon noticing that they had even more people with them that were still dressed in Saiyan gear, she looked back to Vegeta and shook her head a little, “Things are about the same, just activity out in this sector has brought us out to follow up and undo the Saiyan’s work”, she spoke calmly, looking off to the side, “We have simply managed to get a station to upgrade our ship…and nobody knows where it is”.

Pushing past to get to the door, Viral entered the control room quietly, looking sneaky than anything else. He was fair suspicious about what was going on, especially when he entered the room and they all sounded so relaxed. From the sounds of it, the whole thing seemed to be a misunderstanding; however, on the other hand, it sounded as if it was the rebels that had fired upon them. Of course they’d be out here, probably out to finish the job or being completely nosy once more. Staring at the intercom he moved back a little, giving them all a stare as they spoke amongst each other.

Shu was pretty happy to see Sayomi again and seeing that they were getting on again was definitely nice. Looking up at Vegeta as he spoke about the strange beast they must had found, he bounced a little on his feet before rising up on his tail, trying to get a look at the strange looking magic portal that was showing Sayomi. He was fair excited, but he did hope that everything was on good terms unlike how they acted around Viral. Looking back a little he noticed T’charrl look over curiously, Shu pulling at his fur, “She’s a friend”, he smiled, nodding a little, “But don’t tell anyone. She’s a secret…”

Sayomi stared at Takeshi and Vegeta as they spoke, trying to make sense of what they were saying. It’s possible that the unnatural air in the ship caused its body to breakdown to a molecular level pretty fast. Rubbing her cheek a little as she thought about it, her eyes drifted away only to come back again, looking up at T’charrl sneaking a peak over the other two, “…You have a Kaesstrian?” she instead questioned, looking at him with interest, “You have to let me study him. Extremely few have managed to get in close contact with any of them long enough to study one”.

Getting momentarily distracted by the thought of a proper racial study of a difficult race, Sayomi soon realised how far she had gone off topic and moved up again, staring at Vegeta, “If we are going to do anything, it’s not my decision. I simply command the ship”, she spoke, shaking her head, “You are, however, wanting to move into dangerous grounds”. As Takeshi spoke up her attention turned to him instead, giving him a look over before she moved slightly away, looking off to the side, “Korian is around, of course. You have to understand that the things he do isn’t because ‘he’s a jerk’, though”, she spoke before moving a little, pressing on a button off to the side, “Korian, it’s the Princes and their friends. They require that you talk to them immediately”.
Choi wasn’t fully sure whether he should really be letting the Beastman go off towards a fight, but if Yumi was confident that he’d manage then he had no choice but to believe it was definitely proving hard. He wasn’t sure whether he should let the Beastman go behind him rather than in front, he could see the guy as someone who would get very aggressive if he was held up and with how quickly he was coming up behind them was just making him feel worried. Viral was probably the kind of guy who would beat you down if you got in his way, even in a corridor. Looking back at Viral before to Yumi, he smiled a little, “Hopefully it’s someone just thinking we’re with the King, it’s possible considering we are a Saiyan ship”, he spoke quickly, looking up ahead, “I don’t think I’ve ever managed to feel like this…the thrill of adventure with all these dangers! It’s so exciting…”

Viral wasn’t happy one bit, in fact he was very much an angry Beastman right now and being behind Choi and Yumi was not any better. Growling lowly as he moved after them, his temper was slowly rising seeing Choi and Yumi so close together before he stopped, his eyes averting and looking down a little more instead. It was hurting him pretty badly, seeing them together like that. He didn’t know why it hurt, but he was still trying to figure his mind out and figure out everything that was happening to him. He had worked hard to get her to like Vegeta so that maybe they could marry and be happy together, but it didn’t appear that either of them were very interested in each other anyway. He was in pain, but not a pain he could fully understand.

On the other side of the line, it didn’t appear that the attacker was phased by the claim that they were simply travellers. There was that silence and the ships surrounding the flagship hadn’t moved at all, their guns still trained on the ship. With Vegeta’s pleas coming through on the other side, there was nothing more than silence and the flickering screen that hid any form or any sign of detail on the other side. They had no reason to speak, even when Vegeta had revealed who he was it was more that they were taking it all in and possibly discussing what was going on through on the other side. Their discussions were hidden away as their claims were made, even as Takeshi blurted out his own little insult. If this was any other attacker they probably would had attacked them outright, instead they were patient, silently waiting for the command to be given to shoot.

Entering the room soon was Shu and T’charrl, one looking curious and the other confused. The attack had been felt throughout the ship but the silence after it was a little worrying, especially when they were basically just sitting there. T’charrl was keeping quiet, he didn’t know what was happening or what was being said, his mind hardly able to process the language quite yet until he properly got to sit down and study it. He would be good at doing that, it would just take a little while to get the basics done. Shu, on the other hand, was eager to see what was happening, his little form bouncing towards the others as he watched Takeshi get restrained by Kabocha. Smiling a little at the action, he slowly moved towards the camera, trying to see what was happening.

Remaining silent as if musing the others with their nervousness and attempted bravados, the camera remained fuzzy as if it had simply broken and they were wasting their time. The enemy was not showing any sort of reluctance to attack, even after they made their pleas against an attack; however, as Vegeta made attempts to call out who might be on the other line there was still silence, followed by the screen turning black before the voice spoke up again, “You shouldn’t be so certain about that”, she spoke again, sounding a lot clearer, “I could still order them to shoot this ship into disrepair before taking it myself”. With a sudden flash, the screen was showing signs of life and the image of the control station with a female Saiyan standing in front, her hair down and her eyes concentrated on the screen. It was Sayomi, but despite all of that she wasn’t looking smug but instead fairly neutral, her eyes trained on them, “Hello boys, keeping well, I assume? Soldiers! Withdraw for now; target is not hostile. Just what brings you to this side of the galaxy and in that particular ship…?”
Viral was fair pissed at Takeshi right now after everything he said, everything had managed to go against him and that kid still hadn’t learned his lesson. How dare he insult any sort of weapon and throw it off as nothing, not even a reaction from him either, just questioning why he did it. The kid had no faith in his weapon; he just wanted it because it ‘looked cool’ and had been defeated by one before. Nevermind, his head was hurting a hell of a lot now as that moment escaped him, the intense anger slowly passing as his target went away to mind the ship and see exactly who the attacker was.

Choi was fairly nervous, but there was Yumi to help him feel better with her reassurances and confidence. It was nice to have someone around him who had so much confidence, her light shining off her bright and well. Smiling at her, he stopped with her and looked back to the Beastman, seeing how withdrawn he was right now. He was definitely out of his mind, becoming the madman PTSD turns good soldiers into and nobody was noticing. Looking between him and Yumi he backed off a little, feeling a little worried that him coming close to them would cause the Beastman to lash out.

Viral didn’t think he belong where the others were heading, his reluctance to go anywhere near that lot was on a high and just thinking about it further annoyed him greatly. Not giving Yumi or Choi a look as they began to head off, Yumi’s voice directed towards him made him look to her a little, frowning, “I’ll kill them if they come here”, he spoke sternly, staring at her before he began to move in the direction the others went in, “Why should I hold back from my true nature? If they’re Saiyans, they’re as good as dead…” Immediately, Viral broke out into a run, heading straight for the others with no intention other than to do what he wanted against them, his care for morals hardly a concern.

The Saiyan flagship was well in the aggressor’s sights, the possibility that it was going into attack mode was fairly high as it was quick to pull out the cannons and retaliate. The attackers knew exactly what they were going for and wanted to hear of are response from the other side before they could go in and attack. The fact that it appeared that the Saiyans were back in this area was raising tensions very quickly; they never returned to areas they had previously been to unless they were trying to set up a base here and that would be a very bad move to let them carry on. The ship was large and could carry an army easily while an army of Saiyans would be a terrible thing to unleash upon this sector.

As the ships closed in to the Saiyan flagship, they circled around it to spy out its cannons as a call came through to them, claiming they were merely travellers. That was impossible; no traveller would ever fly through space in a Saiyan flagship. It was confirmed for now, they would have to make sure the cannons could never be fired first before they interrogated the caller, “Calling in to command! The unit claims to be travellers yet they carry the Saiyan emblem; permission to fire?”

“Don’t fire. Disable the cannons and I’ll patch through to them and you keep your team on standby”, a female voice patched through, “Don’t attack until I say so! Take out those cannons!” Their own flagship was sitting not too far away from the Saiyan one, but it was well hidden with its own stealth tactics. It was only detectable if it was noted that the formation of stars broke up around it in an unnatural fashion, a method that meant only the keenest of eyes would be able to see it. The radar was blocked, not even electronics could find it.

The ships moved around quickly, their weapons aiming straight for the cannons before a sudden pulse of energy was fired through the vacuum of space aiming to strike the cannons and send them offline. Other than the sudden and quick strike to the weapons, the ships moved into front-facing positions, keeping their guns pointed straight at the flagship. With the flagship hopefully under temporary mutiny, it was now time to contact them directly from the command centre of their own ship, a video feed that had no video running yet to hide identities until everything was established as the female voice spoke through once more, “You are surrounded! Who are you, you who claim to be travellers and not Saiyans while piloting a flagship? Don’t try to warp or you will be fired at immediately”.
Choi was fair confident that he could do all of this, along with the help of his brother and Kabocha as well. This was definitely thrilling, maybe they’d even rescue some people down there or find some strong warriors, but even then without finding anything it was still exciting to have this level of responsibility. Giving her a nod, he looked to T’charrl who looked a little lost before back to Yumi, smiling, “Yeah! No problem, right? Maybe we’ll teach him how to speak out language without us needing to wear scouters all the time around him”, he spoke, feeling fairly confident. Just from the short moment where he thought everything was alright, the door opened and out came Viral like a wild animal with his cleaver heading straight for Takeshi. All he could do was let out a yelp when Yumi screamed, unable to do anything to stop him; however, luckily Viral had stopped, but then again Viral still looked pretty crazed there.

Keeping his cleaver close, Viral stared at Takeshi with threatening eyes, or at least what could be seen of his gaze with his hair hiding part of his face. There was a fair hostile air coming off him, his eyes not quite focused yet still knowing what he was doing. Staring at him as he shouted right back, he sniggered a little at his reaction, moving it closer to his face when he dropped his arm, “I could had killed you long before you even recognised the threat just for disrespecting me and MY weapon!” he spoke, pulling back slightly, “You didn’t even try to draw it…hmph, some level of faith you have in it over your own fleshy limb…”

Keeping his focus on Takeshi, the call over the intercom caused him to become momentarily distracted, his eyes blinking finally as he was slowly realising what was around him. Finally breathing again as he pulled away from Takeshi, his paw went to his head as he let out a groan, shutting his eyes for a moment. The pain was searing through his head just close to the point of unbearable before a white hotness took over and slowly sizzled it away, leaving him feeling momentarily dizzy. Finding it hard to think and comprehend what was happening, he sheathed his blade his mind turning elsewhere as Vegeta and Kabocha ran off after Takeshi, “…Imbeciles…they need to make contact with the enemy first…”

T’charrl was more than a little thrown off by what was going on, especially when the voice sounded out and something spoke through it. He had no idea what was being said or what was happening, only that the Saiyans had quickly sped off to do whatever they had to do. He didn’t know what would happen, he barely knew a ship like this had cannons and those weapons were greatly outdated on his planet; hell, he didn’t even think hurling a rock through space as a projectile would do much. Looking to Yumi and Choi, his attention quickly turned to Shu who was bouncing, tugging at his arm.

“We should follow them!” Shu squeaked, trying to get T’charrl to follow him. Shu had no idea what was going on or why they were being attacked, but he wanted to help and the only way he knew how was to follow the others. It didn’t sound good at all, he didn’t know what they were supposed to do in a situation like this. After a brief moment of confusion, T’charrl soon agreed and began to run with Shu, trying to catch up with the blurs.

Choi was feeling a little frightened himself, one wrong move could mean they’d be right back in the arms of their enslavers and possibly to the labs for their stupidity. It freaked him out quite a lot, but his eyes quickly went to Yumi as he pulled at her hand, “Let’s go! We can’t let them go at this alone, we gotta help”, he spoke quickly, giving a quick nod while making attempts to get Yumi to come with him, “We can’t end up back in Saiyan hands, right? We just earned our freedom…”
Viral was definitely not a happy guy right now, it was just ridiculous that anybody would think that a weapon was just a thing they’d be able to pick up and use professionally. If somebody attacked him with a sword and he had his ready to go, he’d still lose to the swordsman in no time flat. They may have their Ki and their fists, but their bodies were still vulnerable to a specialist weapon and considering how easily those weapons had been able to pierce them before, then they were going to be in a lot of trouble if anyone with skill came across them. Letting out a sigh he looked away from everyone, his eyes down at the clothes before they all finally decided to leave the room.

Watching as they all went out, he slowly stood up and rubbed his head, still feeling a little groggy. He really was feeling the tiredness after that, it was not a pleasant feeling either like waking up in the morning. This was the kind that was only felt after surgery and it was sickening. Once everyone was outside, he gradually began to change out of his clothes; however, that didn’t deafen their discussion on the outside. He could hear them clearly, there was no doubt about that, but what was probably the most insulting part was how they actually managed to talk loud enough as if they weren’t even trying to hide it, Takeshi especially.

That kid seriously knew nothing, his arrogance was beyond compare and the most insulting part was how he brushed it off like it was his fault and that he was being the pain. He didn’t want to go with them in the end, he didn’t need any of that noise. Trying to shrug it off for now, he continued to change his clothes; however, just as he getting himself finished and ready his gaze moved to the doorway as if an attack had suddenly come his way. He heard that, Kabocha calling it a ‘sharp stick’. So that’s all the sword was to him? Growling lowly, he pulled at the sleeves, ultimately deciding to tear them off and wrap his forearms up instead before clipping on his belt, his own blade ready for use as he wrapped his scarf around his neck.

Shu felt a little saddened over the discussion, seeing as how they hadn’t managed to make Viral happy even when they were trying hard. He thought he liked fighting, but he seemed reluctant to be anywhere near them. Maybe he was still worried about hurting them, but that worry had to had been long past and something else was creeping up. Letting out a sigh as they spoke, he looked up to his brother, frowning a little, “I thought he didn’t like you calling it a thing”, he spoke, shaking his head, “Please don’t call my tail a thing too…that’s mean…”

T’charrl couldn’t agree with Takeshi or Kabocha either; swords had been used as primary weapons for a long time in his culture as well and they were always deadly in the most skilled of warriors. To hear them being called sticks and things did hurt a little, especially when he had trained most his life to master every weapon he could with his father. Letting out a sigh he decided to back off a bit, giving them all some room as they argued a little bit about what a sword meant to them. He would probably go off and try to meditate in the end, all of it hopefully helping him keep control of himself and find his inner self once more instead of remaining in this large mutant body.

Choi was a little conflicted, but a lot of it he didn’t see as a big deal and it was all just for the sake of arguing to him. Letting out a sigh he looked to Yumi, smiling at her before moving to take a hold of her hand, “I’ll take care of the ship while you’re gone, I swear! If trouble comes, we’ll tell you immediately”, he nodded, trying to keep the others little quarrel out of their hair, “Do you need anything, just give us a shout. I’ll be happy to spar with you once this is all over and you get rid of those creatures, the planet might be really hostile…”

After a short moment, the door opened up but instead of a calm and collected Viral, a very angry one jumped out and went straight for Takeshi, his cleaver unsheathing as if to attack him; however, if the blade got any close to Takeshi without any sort of block, Viral’s blade would halt before it could cut even the sliver of clothing, his gaze focused on his eyes, “Can you even keep up with my blade…or is it still a ‘thing’ to you?”
Viral was fair annoyed at Takeshi for having such a naïve outlook on what a weapon was and essentially what it made the warrior. He couldn’t understand how anybody could treat a weapon like that when it was essentially the difference between protection and killing an opponent, even if he didn’t want to finish his opponent in the end because of principles. Viral didn’t need principles to stop him from killing someone; if they didn’t deserve the relief the afterlife granted then they would suffer through life after being defeated by him. Viral knew he was acting on honour, but that’s what a warrior needed the most and he was losing a lot of that lately.

Viral gave a pretty strong glare at him, he could only get angrier at the wording Takeshi used. So the lowdown was he wasn’t going to respect his weapon until he knew how to use it, yet he would never learn how to use it if he couldn’t respect it first. This idiot was just a pain in the neck to work with and he just didn’t want to see respect in the sword. Growling lowly at his words, they hit a little close to home, “’Lie around’? So does that make you not respect me just because I’ve been lying around and not making use of myself? Don’t say it’s not the same either, because it’s exactly the same! You either learn respect…or you’ll never master it!”

Looking to Vegeta, it sounded as if he was going off to do an extinction run rather than simply trying to do good. It was quite irritating, there was even a moment when he was reminded of what Korian said about killing him off before he could do anymore harm. Glaring at him as he spoke, he looked away, giving a shake of his head, “You sound like someone I know”, he grumbled lowly, “I’ll do it because you want me to…I don’t care what your reasoning behind wanting to fight them is, even though none of you are capable of doing so…”

Viral was a little upset with being so close to Yumi after seeing that, but he couldn’t project any anger onto her or show any signs that he was. He didn’t even know why he was, but so long as she was happy then that’s all that mattered. Frowning a little when she talked, he gave a quick look to the others before down at his clothes. He didn’t want to wear them, but he would if he had to get out of these wet clothes and not feel this odd chill in his bones, “So you trust the ship with them…fine”, he spoke before looking to Takeshi when he decided to speak up, pointing out who was going. He guessed that was okay, he just wondered whether they could trust the bug in the corner to behave while on the ship too, “Hmph…I have no choice when nobody else is competent enough with a sword…fine, just…get out of here. I need to get changed and I hate people hovering over me and staring at me when I’m doing it…”
Viral felt so confused, he was just finding it so difficult to make sense of it all while everything had changed so much since he lost consciousness, but probably the worst part of it all was he only had a fuzzy recollection over what happened to him. He must had suffered from small meltdown in his brain, ending up crashing and losing it halfway. He had come dangerously close to dying under lack of energy for his cells to function properly and the most they could do was shove him in a tank to repair said cells. It wouldn’t make much of a difference, it was going to happen again like last time where he nearly ended up losing his mind after he came to again.

Looking to Takeshi, Viral looked away again and back to his clothing in quiet contemplation over what was being said. If they guy knew there was danger then he could had grabbed it on the way there instead of assuming his fists would do the job, but hopefully he would know better, “’This thing’? Thing?? You respect your weapon as if it was part of your own body! If you’ll call it a thing, you are nothing more than a mere extension of that thing! Does it make you fell happy to be called a thing?” he huffed before he let out a sigh, shaking his head, “One you learn to respect it…then maybe I’ll teach you how to use it…”

Viral was feeling fair angry still, not really in the mood to be awake when he was finally able to sleep dreamlessly for once in a very long time. He probably wasn’t going to be able to sleep like that for a while, that was what really pissed him off. Viral couldn’t care where the monster had come from, it wasn’t as if it was going to get off that planet unless a bunch of Saiyans came along and did whatever this lot happened to had done before they lost the ship. As his care became even less after noticing Yumi, he nonchalantly began to squeeze the liquid out of his scarf, whipping the loose residue to the ground before his fed up look moved to Vegeta, his act of not caring only becoming stronger, “Don’t see why we have to go to some backwater planet just because I could see its movements! You’re just looking for an excuse to test your little theories out because you don’t understand it…”

Unravelling his scarf from his neck, Viral’s mind was fair occupied and definitely didn’t have time to notice Yumi come over to him, his eyes shifting up to her when he felt her presence near him. He simply lowered his head again, still not feeling happy to see her so close to the Saiyan but the worst part was how she was acting towards him. She sounded worried, but she wasn’t acting like it like she usually did. Slowly shifting his legs around and away from her, he let out a grumble at her words before she eventually decided that a hug was needed to display this worry of hers. Stiffening up, he looked to her before away again, giving that slight gentle push, “I still need to get these clothes on, you know”, he sighed, avoiding her concerns when he had no true answer to it, “That stuff was the first bath I’ve had in a very, very long time…shouldn’t you all be getting ready for whatever this planet’s like and organising who you’re taking and leaving here…”
