Shu didn’t mean for them to go too far ahead, he was fairly certain he could remember the way for the longest time and eventually after a few overshooting problems. He was a little nervous, even though these people were friends to him they still didn’t know his brother so who knew what might happen. As they finally made it to the place, the reception they were met with was less than stellar, at least to Takeshi. With the immediate aggressive approach towards Takeshi, Shu got off Takeshi’s back and moved away, feeling a little nervous about the whole situation. He didn’t know what he could say to make things better other than just show that he was there and able to be supportive to his brother, but it was looking pretty hard to do that when one wrong move and Takeshi would be speared.

Watching the interaction between the guards and his brother carefully, he frowned a little as he tried to suss out what was the best course of action to take while he was under so much watch. Trying to slowly get inbetween the weapons and Takeshi, turned out he didn’t need to as the Captain soon showed his face and Shu was left with a hint of relief in his expression. It was good to see him again, but the aggression being shown was not going away as quickly as he hoped. Frowning a little, he tilted his head at the number of guards that were following him before immediately turning his attention towards L’esta, giving him a nervous wave as the guards lowered their weapons. He felt pretty glad that happened, he’d hate it if they had to leave because the Captain didn’t want to cooperate.

Shu felt he could move forward now, he was glad that he could get in closer when the guy had relieved his guards. Looking between the Captain and Takeshi, he slowly moved forward as he pressed his fingers together, giving L’esta a nervous smile, “H-Hi again…ummm yeah, things happened and we need information”, he spoke, keeping his voice low before letting out a squeak, “Uhh n-not against you, that is! We need to know things like…like why the city doesn’t like you guys and why these things are happening. We want to help, but we don’t want to get the wrong people who are just in it because they were told to be in it…”
Kai frowned when all Takeshi did was laugh even louder than usual, it hardly felt like a matter to be laughing at when they had very well nearly died because Choi got too curious for his own good. Giving Choi a sharp look before back at Takeshi, he waited until he stopped laughing before letting out a sigh, “You mean you weren’t even told?” he frowned, shaking his head a little, “Maybe you should at least find out what they are before you think to place our family here? That would be very nice”. He was a little nervous to say the least when it came to his family having to settle here, he was already nervous about them being left out there for too long. They had a few days at most before the King got suspicious, after that they had to hope and pray that their families hadn’t been harmed.

Choi didn’t think it was very funny, it had hurt a lot and now he was going to have problems with his skin along with his brother for a little while. He wouldn’t be doing that again, but who’s to say it was wrong to not check what was in a massive hole in the landscape and why it was there. There could had easily been something down there of interest, he didn’t know where these people lived. Frowning, he looked around as Takeshi wandered off back to the house ending with Choi getting a little fright when he spotted Shu standing at the door. Letting out a groan, he slowly moved towards Kabocha, pointing at the kid for a second, “It’s that kid again…think he still turns into a monster?” he muttered ending with Kai punching his shoulder to tell him off.

Shu stood waiting at the door, bouncing a little as he waited for Takeshi to finish up talking to his friends. He didn’t really want to go near them, he still saw them as a little scary, he didn’t actually know what to make of them fully. Yumi and Vegeta were quite upset with them and that was enough for him to be suspicious about them, even if he didn’t know the full story. Smiling when Takeshi came over to him he immediately nodded, bouncing a little, “Uh huh! I know! It may take a while if we walk, so we better go fast, huh? We gotta go this way!” he said, pointing off where Yumi told him to go, “Then we gotta turn left at where I bumped into the Prince, it’s quite far”.
Shu giggled a little as he clung onto Yumi, giving her a good hug as she hugged him. He really did hope that nothing would happen while he was over there, but he could never be too careful. Pulling away from her as she gave his hair a good rub, he smiled at her before he began to bounce a little, “Oooohhh food! Yes food! I’d like that very much, I can’t wait”. Watching as she moved on back into the house, he made a sudden dash once she had fully entered the house and ran straight for his room, nearly skidding as he grabbed hold of the door. Quickly entering his room, he looked around and found his staff sitting neatly on his bed. He was fair happy to see it, he was quite happy to see how it might handle itself when he used it. Snatching it off his bed, he made a quick walk out of the house, feeling quite happy and sure that he’d be able to lead his brother there.

While Kai seemed quite self-conscious when he noticed Takeshi’s reaction to them, Choi had absolutely no clue and just thought that something was being discussed that was pretty funny. Frowning a little, Kai folded his arms as he looked back to the house, trying to decide whether there was enough room in there for all of them to stay if they had to before looking back to Takeshi. If Takeshi really think he had a lead then that was good, things would only get easier from there, but there was always assumptions and hopefully that was definitely not one of them. Letting out a sigh, he looked to his brother before back to Takeshi as the question rose to what they had been up to. Frowning a little, Kai shoved his brother back a footstep, “Choi thought it was wise to go down this large hole in the landscape, but of course that strange energy just shot up and almost fried us”, he spoke, shaking his head, “Other than that, we didn’t find much other than a lot of those holes. Just what are those things anyway and where is that energy coming from?”
Moving into his room, Viral closed the door over calmly before giving it a good push to click it into place, just so he’d know if someone tried to wander in without his permission. He didn’t know what to do with himself anymore, his eyes surveying his quiet room where he struggled to sleep last night. The constant battle against nightmarish memories was always happening at night, he could imagine Shu having just as hard a time with it but luckily his mind wasn’t played around with as much as his. Shu had only the memories of physical and mental torment from the scientists to fight against, but he had all that plus constant near death experiences and hallucinations that followed as his mind practically melted all over the floor. It wasn’t something that would disappear overnight with a simple operation and adding stem cells, the mental deterioration had already happened and the voices were just faint whispers.

Slowly moving over to his bed, Viral sat down with a heavy thump as his hand went to his neck. It was feeling a little tense, rather itchy too. He had no idea whether it was actually working or only some of them were, but otherwise he didn’t much care about that considering his circumstances. He could probably do with getting his bandages changed, his wounds possibly healed by quite a bit now. He figured he’d probably only need a day before he was near enough fully able, but he was still physically exhausted and mentally broken. Letting out a sigh he slowly lay down, his eyes staring at the roof. Even if he got better, he had no idea how he’d be of use in battle now that there was even more Ki users to compete with, it would be incredibly awkward if he finally found an opponent only for that smart-mouthed Saiyan to fly off with them.

Shu was fair excited to get going that he could barely wait for Yumi to tell him what was what and how to get there, bouncing on his toes as she spoke to him. He was fair happy to go back there again, even if there might be some tension if only to see the glowing lights and the strange architecture that fascinated him. Still not quite understanding what those phrases meant even after Yumi told him, he slowly shuffled closer to her before continuing his bounce on his toes, “Uh huh, we’re going to ask some things and hope they don’t try to kill Takeshi”, he smiled as he was led away off to the door. Taking in what she was showing him, he slowly tilted his head to the side before looking up to her, giving a little nod, “I think so, it took a while to get there, but maybe Takeshi could help us go faster”, he said quickly before jumping at Yumi to give her a hug, “Thanks! I’m going to get my staff too; maybe the Captain will like it…”

As time went by, so did a couple of Saiyans nearly fly right by the house in what looked like a frantic search for it before they were spotted by someone. It was the twins, both looking slightly tanned by something that must have been some heat. They had both gone a fair distance before returning back, it had been some journey but they had done all they could to find clues and obviously found something they had interest in if they had managed to nearly cook themselves. Gradually dropping to ground level, Choi dusted himself down while Kai looked over him before his eyes diverted their way to Takeshi and Kabocha. It seemed fairly convenient that they were out here, otherwise they would had struggled to find the place, “Uhh hi, was it one of you who boosted your power?” Kai spoke up, looking a little confused, “We were searching all over and it wasn’t until the scouter picked it up…anyway, how did your search go?”
Viral wasn’t too keen to hear Kabocha giving his own smart aleck return with an insult to his current strength, but Vegeta butting in was something Viral needed nothing of. He could stand up for himself, he didn’t need Vegeta shoving his way in as well. Watching the two carefully, he gave Vegeta a particularly hard stare when his energy levels went up but didn’t speak of it, at least not while he was busy shoving his nose into his business. While he didn’t know whether it was bad enough that Yumi automatically assumed that he wanted the chair, her assumption making him feel almost like he was being babied because he wasn’t at one hundred percent.

Watching as Kabocha made a quick exit to probably do nothing that Viral told him to do, Viral looked back to Vegeta, giving him a fair annoyed glare if there ever was one, “I can stand up for myself. Don’t think just because you have power doesn’t mean you can show him up any more than I can and flaunt it around when you’re not supposed to”, he spoke in a fair strict manner, turning to look at Yumi, “Don’t tell him anything, okay? I’m going to my room”. He didn’t know why everyone always thought they had to shove themselves into his business while minding their now, now the guy probably was never going to bother finding food for the others. Heading on off to his room, he could only really hope Yumi paid particular mind to what he said, especially when he didn’t need Vegeta wondering if his beating was actually the worst thing he could had done.

Shu was a little anxious about what they needed to do; it was hard not to be when he relied heavily on knowing how to understand serious talk over everything else that he had learned on his journey. If there was something he had no idea how to handle, it was how to hold a serious conversation with a complete stranger. He had time to think about it before they got there, it shouldn’t be too difficult if he knew what he had to try and find out about. Hopefully it shouldn’t take long, he didn’t want to stay out when it got dark outside just incase dangerous people came out at that time too. As they made their way over to the house, Shu make a stop when he spotted Kabocha, giving him a curious look before Takeshi spoke up again, “Ooh? Why would she give you part of what she is?” he asked curiously only to look back to the house again and making a brief run, “I’ll be quick, maybe!”

Running off along to the house, Shu tried to go over in his mind what he should really ask Yumi and how he was supposed to keep track of directions. He wasn’t particularly good at keeping directions, he relied heavily on landmarks to find his way and there was only a few he could remember. Upon approaching the house, Shu stared at Kabocha for a moment; his mind still not terribly sure on how he should take him and the other two Saiyans being here before he quickly opened the door and entered the house. It was a little intimidating, but upon remembering what he was supposed to be asking again he made a brief run, working his way to his room to get his staff, “Yumi! Yumi! I need to know how to get to Queen ‘Your Majesty Your Highness’ again! I need to go find out some things!”
Shu gave a little nod, finding it was probably best to go with that plan and see where it leads them. If Yumi knew what they could do then there would be no problem with her coming along with him to try and see what’s they could find out about all of this, he did know they’d probably freely pass on information and find out why this war was happening. Smiling a little, he stared up at his brother before going back to watching where he was going, bouncing a few steps along the way, “It was like a hole, kind of like one we were told to look at but had guards and stuff”, he spoke, giving a quick look around before making another hop, “It was a lot prettier and less smelly, though! The Prince was really well hidden, so maybe the guards might be too so that would be something to watch out for. When asked about his staff he turned to Takeshi again, feeling curious over what he had to say, “Oooh? I left it in my room because I didn’t think I’d need it! So I guess we can go back for that”, he said, giving his cheek a scratch, “I’ll bring it with me! I can’t wait to use it, even if it might be against someone else…I still won’t hurt them very much”.

Viral looked to her, only giving a little shake of his head when she tried to apologise. It wasn’t her fault for trying, anybody else probably would have been happy to get hugged after what they’ve been through but he really didn’t think he deserved it. Moving into the house felt like a fairly big step back in progress, he should had stayed outside in the sun and tried to get better but instead he was forced inside by his own guilt. When she spoke to him again he slowly folded his arms, his eyes diverted elsewhere, “It’s been a while because I was away for a year, it’s no big deal”, he spoke, but just when he thought he was going to be able to relax a little more in the house he could sense the arrival of others, his gaze moving to the door as the sound of muffled voices could be heard before it opened.

Viral wasn’t at all thrilled knowing who was back home, he would had preferred that it was the Princes, even if one of those who came back was Vegeta. Watching both Kabocha and Vegeta as they came wandering in with little care, he kept an especially sharp eye on Kabocha who came in and practically made himself a home. He had no right to just come in and flop down on the chair. Keeping his eyes on him, he eventually diverted to Yumi before to Kabocha again, moving over to him, “Howabout you go out and take care of that instead of making yourself a home?” he spoke up, his gaze fair focused, “You won’t bring any attention to yourself out in the forest, maybe you can even fly off somewhere else and make yourself useful? You still have to prove yourself along with your teammates…”
Shu didn’t know whether it would work but it was worth trying, they probably weren’t going to find much here anyway. While the city was interesting and packed with people, he still didn’t see who they would be looking for and what type of person they had to keep an eye out for. Looking to Takeshi as he brought up suggestions, he’d probably need a little guidance if they were going to do that, “If Yumi and I went…how will I know who to look for? What if she didn’t know what to look for? Maybe if we all went…uhhh, then again, Mister Viral would be by himself until the others got back. I don’t think he’d like meeting people”, he sighed, scratching his ear, “I guess we should, I mean…we really should do it now, maybe it would be okay if it was just us two who went. Maybe I can remember where we came from, but there were people who were out there too guarding the place. Maybe we should ask Yumi what to do?”

Viral had completely blown it, it seemed. Yumi was upset again and it was his fault, he didn’t mean to either. Everything was just going to pot for him, he was probably going to lose everyone eventually. Maybe that would be for the better; after all he had been forgotten about completely by Takeshi until it was too late for him. Letting out a sigh he looked elsewhere, off down into the forests for a moment before he made his way towards Yumi as she walked along, his legs feeling particularly wobbly and drained as he pressed onwards. Shaking his head a little, he looked back at her with a fairly neutral expression, “I don’t see why you have to be sorry for simply trying to show affection, anybody else wouldn’t had moved away”, he spoke, not feeling entirely sure to what he wanted to do now. He felt it was probably best to be left alone at this stage, he didn’t want to upset Yumi more and ruin her entire day. Scratching at his chest, he stared at the door calmly, only taking it himself as he moved into the house, “Maybe Shu will be back soon with Takeshi, then I’m sure you two can play and hug all you want to your heart’s desire”.
Shu tilted his head, not entirely sure to what Takeshi meant when he said that, “Ooh? Back? Where?” he questioned him, eventually looking away and giving his head a scratch, “Oohhh, I guess you mean back to where I was before…? I-I guess…” He wasn’t too sure as to whether the people there would accept his brother, he had been working for the city here and they might had met him at one time or saw him flying around. Slowly standing with Takeshi, he took hold of his hand as they moved out of the alleyway, Shu keeping close to him as he made a quick rush onto the street. He really didn’t like that at all, but at least his brother was there to comfort him. As he let go of his brother’s hand, he looked up to him for answers to what they might end up doing, moving closer to him so he could hear what he was saying, “Oooh? Uh huh…uhhh, I might know the way, but maybe Yumi knows better?” he asked up, moving away a little, “Are you sure that would be okay? They might not like you going anywhere near them because they don’t know you”.

Viral looked to Yumi but looked away again, slowly folding his arms. He had only managed to make Yumi upset again, it seemed to be something he often did lately. He seemed to manage to do that all the time lately, everybody was just getting angry or fed up with him and all he felt he was doing was managing to pull down everybody’s moods. He didn’t know if he wanted to train anymore, he’d probably just upset her some more and through the tone of voice she was giving him it was all sounding a little forced. Looking back to her with a quick glance, he let out a sigh and just rubbed his wrists, “We can stop now, I don’t think I can progress anymore, anyway”, he spoke calmly, not letting her get any wrong ideas, “If you want, you can get something to eat. You’ve been out most of the morning doing who knows what and all I’ve done is manage to get lost and be picked up by Saiyans instead”.
Shu finished off his food quite happily and wiped down his front, feeling pretty content with their stolen food haul. He didn’t mind it if the food came from somewhere that could be easily replaced, but if Takeshi took the food from somebody who was needing it or didn’t deserve it to be taken then he was going to oppose the actions taken. Feeling pretty content except for the fact of where they were, Shu looked up to Takeshi curiously as he talked about the plan but his side of the plan, tilting his head as he tried to think to where he might end up finding somebody who opposed the war. It seemed as if the citizens weren’t exactly aware with how they walked along without a care, they would need to search pretty deep for someone who might oppose the war, “Okay…how do we find them? I don’t know anybody who would be…then again, I don’t know anybody here”, he said quickly, shaking his head, “Except you-know-who and his family…and the Captain…and the doctor, sorta…”

Viral let out a groan as he lay on the ground, his hand going to his ribs for a moment as he stared up into the sky. He didn’t know why she had decided to do that, all it did was put his health in danger. He was fairly worn down already just from those frights, it’s as if she wanted him to be too worn down. Looking up to her as she approached and pulled him up by the arm, he grumbled as he was brought back to his feet, shifting them slightly as he gave his head a rub, “You’re too big for that stuff! If you rammed into me like that, you probably would had knocked me out”, he grumbled, rubbing the back of his neck, “I would rather I kept training…but now you’re just making me really dizzy…”
All of you are using pictures of real people/models.

I feel kinda intimidated when mine is drawn by myself.
