You had me at violence.
Still a heavy WIP, just showing progress.

As much as Shin would've liked to ignore the loud commotion at the other end of the courtyard, his curiosity got the better of him and he just had to see what was going on. Of course, he had seen the student jump from the roof and land with a thud. The student had to be alright because there weren't many that were stupid enough to leap off a roof without knowing they would make it unless they were thick in the head. Either way, it would be good to make sure they were alright.

He arrived at the group later than the others and was just in time to see a large student fix the hole he had made where he landed. Before Kawaguchi knew it students were challenging each other to duels which wasn't that unusual but under the circumstances it was a little strange. What made it all the better was it looked like the underclassmen were getting cocky and trying to challenge Ban of all people. That was when he noticed the cheap shot that one of the other students tried on the larger student.

As quick as the student was with his mop, Shin was faster as he grabbed his sword off his back and deflected the direction of the mop. The sword echoed from the contact and started to hum with a low resonance that if allowed to continue would start to cause a headache to those hearing it. "It's not nice to try and strike someone where they aren't prepared. At least show some honor when issuing a challenge." He told the younger student as he kept the sword in his hand but placed his other hand flat across the blade to settle the reverberating.

"Sorry for butting in Ban. I know you can handle yourself but not fair to be struck when your not prepared." He than took a step back as the challenge was thrown out which a smirk on his face as he knew this would be entertaining.
Sorry, I am going to have to drop.

@Cyclone A roll would be awesome.
Hi there, are you still accepting people with interest?
It was surprisingly peaceful for a school built upon the concept of students fighting each other. That could just be because it was lunch time and normal people were enjoying their lunches instead of fighting each other. One such person who had been enjoying his lunch was the head of the music club located in a corner of the courtyard. He had been enjoying the down time as he listened to music and sifted through his student database tablet looking through ranks and the different types of weapons some of the students used.

Kawaguchi Shin was not a big supporter of the battle system that started the year that he entered high school, though it did have its benefits like now when he needed to get his hands on new equipment for his club. The tricky part was he couldn't just go pick a fight with just anyone as not everyone gave the same amount of points meaning he would have to fight someone his rank or higher probably to make it worth it. There was also always the option for a club battle but that could be trouble as the music club was running low on membership at the moment and there didn't have much to put up as a reward for the battle.

Shin let out a small sigh as even with his headphones on, it didn't completely filter out how loud the delinquents of the school were being at the other side of the courtyard. It was a club heads job to manage their members and make sure they didn't do anything to embarrass the club, thought it just seemed that Yamamoto Chie enjoyed encouraging those behaviors instead. Maybe it could be time to teach her what it actually meant to the head of a club. That would have to wait though as lunch seemed to be wrapping up soon and Shin wanted to do a little more research on Chie's strengths and weaknesses before throwing down the challenge.
