As someone who works for a pet store I both love and hate pixar. The next person that tries to ask me if we have "a dory fish" for their goldfish bowl is getting straight up clubbed like a baby seal

This looks interesting. May I join in?

Sorry for such a late reply, just drop a CS in the proper section and await review by Neko, man.
As Alcaeus described to him the finer points of rural living, Cain sighed as he fondly remembered the camping trips he'd taken. Cain had always found himself thinking with every trip of how nice it would have been if his life could stay the way it was when he was there. Sadly, a combination of pampering through city life and his current condition meant that such a life was impossible, at least, if he wanted to retain what little of his humanity remained. The wendigo chuckled at Al's offer, though not in a condescending manner, "Sounds like it'd be a refreshing change of pace from sitting in a car shop all day. If you're up for another question, what drew you to that sort of life?".
Cain quietly shoved the letter that he'd received into his pocket and gave a slight, knowing nod to Alcaeus. "That bit of business aside..." He rumbled in a voice to deep even for someone that looked as he did before clearing his throat, "You seem like the kind of guy who's well acquainted with the country life. I've always been a bit of a nature boy myself, but besides the odd camping or hiking trip I don't really get to enjoy nature as much as i'd like since Florida gets a lot more tourists than i'm comfortable with dealing with. What's it like?".
Given Dimitri's nature i've always viewed him as someone who dabbled in kickboxing, specifically the more aggressive aspects of it that involve dominating one's opponent and forcing them to either defend or fight on your terms, seeing as Kassy is a different type of person, perhaps he taught Kassy to play more to the defensive aspects of guarding and dodging whilst waiting for the enemy to expend their own energy before laying into them? It'd have a nice little balance going between the two.
The criminal gulped loudly as Mirage stepped up to take him in a fight. He clenched and unclenched his shaking hands, realizing that he'd very likely made a terrible mistake. Still there was no turning back now, and with his best war cry the criminal ran at Mirage whilst swinging wildly to try and improve his chances of scoring a blow. Pulse simply stood by and admired Mirage's stance with a bit of pride. She'd come a long way since Pulse had taken her in as his protege, and while she was still plenty down to earth she no longer carried the same awkward and overly cautious air that she did when first starting out. Perhaps close proximity to Mirage had made him slightly soft in his time, but Pulse momentarily considered telling the criminal how piss poor his attempts at fighting looked. This consideration was brief, and what Pulse did instead, was rest one arm on Mirage's staff and chuckle as he awaited the ass kicking to come.
Pulse's jaw audibly clacked shut and his left brow cocked up a bit as the man he'd decided to send airborne was saved from only god knew how many medical visits due to a wave of sand breaking his fall. "Nice t'see you kept pace, Mirage- wait, what was that you said?! You know how much food I need to keep myself going? Add that to the wait and I'm damn right to be "grumpy"!". He leapt down from the rooftop he stood upon and landed on his hands and feet with a solid thump, the scowl on his face deepened even further. Pulse slowly rose and dusted off his hands, "My current and fully justifiable piss n' vinegar attitude aside, you should've let that guy splat on the pavement, but we'll talk about that later.". As the thief who Mirage had saved slowly tried to get to his feet only to fall back to the ground and scream in pain, the only one that was still fully intact shuddered a bit as he weighed his options.

Quite frankly, after seeing them both in action he wasn't sure which one was more frightening between Pulse and Mirage. It was clear to anyone with common sense that fleeing and fighting were both no longer viable options, and that surrender was the best course of action. Sadly, common sense was not common, as evidenced by the man raising his fists in a last desperate bid for a chance at escape, "C-Come on! I'm not afraid of you!" he shouted unconvincingly. Pulse snorted and rolled his eyes, "Oh look, the brain trust wants to get physical.". The hero started to step forward and crack his knuckles, but stopped and turned to his partner with a wicked smirk, "Sorry, did you wanna take a crack at him? Be a nice little refresher course for all those close quarter combat drills I put you through, don't you think?".

"Alright so from the looks of things, your engine locked up due to the fact that you're seriously overdue for an oil change-" "Oh here we go again with this shit! I already told you people that you're not going to scam any extra cash from me with that!, Dimitri slowly reached up and pinched the bridge of his nose as he stood before a man that appeared to be in his forties. It had been twenty minutes since the man had arrived in a taxi with complaints of his car no longer working, and after a long argument about how there would be a fee for the vehicle being towed to the shop, Dimitri had decided to take a gander at the vehicle to determine the problem. The car -a bright red mustang Gt. 5.0-, was suffering from what was known as engine lock due to a combination of the man pushing his vehicle too much and neglecting to get it's oil changed. "Sir, I already told you, we aren't attempting to scam you. This sort of thing is exactly why oil changes are so important." Dimitri said as he lowered his hand. He hated dealing with these types of people, they were too stupid to know what was wrong with their possessions, but believed themselves to be clever enough to know a scam in action. The man huffed and sneered as he looked down at Dimitri, "Fine. How much is it going to cost?" "Well, it's usually anywhere between two to four thousand dollars since we-" "Two to four thousand dollars!? What kind of idiot do you take me for!". The man was livid, and he expressed this by ranting and raving at Dimitri who silently grew more irritable with each spit flecked word thrown at him.

Dimitri allowed the to continue for a bit before holding up his hand to interrupt, "Look, it's going to be more or less the same price wherever you go, if you don't like it that's too bad, you should have taken better care of your car.". The man's face turned beet red, he reached out and jabbed Dimitri in the chest with his finger, "You listen to me you little gremlin, I can have your job on a fucking platter, you hear me?!", "Do not touch me again. Dimitri hissed darkly before turning to walk away. Things were getting bad, he could feel his resolve slipping, and the only thing that was going to save the man now was him walking away before he lost it. Unfortunately for both parties, the man wasn't done telling off Dimitri, something he made apparent when he followed after the wendigo and gripped him tightly by the shoulder to spin him around, "Don't you walk away from me you-AGH!". The reaction had been almost instantaneous; as the man had turned Dimitri and proceeded to try and jab him in the chest with his finger again, Dimitri had seized him by the wrist and sunken his teeth deep into his hand. Within seconds they were writhing on the floor with Dimitri on top, viciously shaking his head back and forth in an effort to sever muscles and break bones. It took two of his coworkers and another customer to pull Dimitri off, and even then they only managed to do it because Dimitri regained his senses. Dimitri's boss, having been drawn out by the commotion, sent one of his employees to fetch a first aid kit and dragged Dimitri aside, "What the fuck did you do!?" "I told him not to touch me again. He didn't listen.". Matthew prepared to berate Dimitri for his actions, however the words died in his throat when he got a good look at his employee. Dimitri had always been a decent enough employee, a bit crass at times, but easy enough to get along with, and certainly not threatening. Now however, with blood staining his lips and jacket and a strange glazed look in his eyes, there was an unsettling look about Dimitri that sent a shiver up his spine. "Look, just...just go home for now. I'll try to get this settled as best I can and have Shannon clock you out. If he tries to sue, we've got surveillance cameras that can prove he started this." Matthew said. Dimitri stared at Matthew for a few seconds, then to the man he'd bitten, and exited the garage.

It wasn't until Dimitri left that Matthew realized that he was shivering for reasons other than the cold. Dimitri meanwhile began walking back towards his apartment, heading in the direction of the cafe whilst completely heedless of the strange looks and wide berth that the people on the sidewalk gave him thanks to the bloodstains.
As a skeletal bird whizzed overtop Cain and dropped something towards him, the wendigo reflexively tilted back a bit and plucked the object that came at him out of the air. Having seen Alcaeus receive something as well, he turned and reciprocated the look that he himself had been given. Cain unfolded the letter and began reading, his frown deepening momentarily before he felt a shiver of excitement run up his spine from the realization of what he was being invited to. It had been well over a month since he'd been able to hunt, and as with every hunt, he could only ever take one or two people without fear of being seen. As much as Cain hated to admit it, two people just weren't enough to scratch that itch that nagged at the back of his mind. The letter in his hand wasn't just and invitation to hunt, it was an invitation to finally run rampant. It meant that he could chase, dismember, and kill any and everything that he could get in his grasp. Cain did not realize it, but he had started to breath heavily, a twisted and rather cruel looking grin had returned to his face, curving so far up that it started to turn inwards slightly, and his once weary looking eyes now radiated malice and bloodlust in spades. "This sounds like it's going to be fun." Cain said as he gripped the paper a bit tighter.

Somewhere in the back of his mind, Cain knew that this was horribly wrong, and that what he was about to do was terrible. That part of him wanted to stop this, to return to his room and book the flight back home in the morning and to go to sleep. That part of him however, had no say in the matter. The wendigo would have his fun, and all that remained of Cain's humanity could do was try to turn a blind eye and hope that the people he caught did not suffer long.
There's something about short people that makes others want to help them or toy with them. Such is they way of the world, and as you said, he'd probably try to bite something off of you if he could get away with it. No need to worry about Dimitri for now though, he'll still be hunting people down, but I won't do anything super obvious until this current chapter has reached it's end. I'll still leave little hints here and there IC to give the Agency the impression that something sinister stalks the streets alongside R/XXX, but it'll be more a side note than anything considering Dimitri leaves so little evidence to warrant investigation...for now...
