@Resentment Fray A bit of friendly advice, try to wait in between posts for a certain number of posts to appear after yours. I've found that a few role plays tended to suffer because two people would post one after the other and leave everyone else in the dust. In my particular case, I try to hold off on posting until at least two people have posted after my last post. Keeps everything flowing smooth. Not saying it's what you gotta do, just saying that it might help.

@Diabolic I'm aware, I just mean as far as nationality goes Jacque's on his own. Again, not making a fuss. I have t admit that i'm rather surprised people weren't interested in Swyn as a choice of origin/allegiance though considering that it allows one to make a pretty durable character. The way I see it, you've got to be either tough or smart to make it in a harsh land like that. Well, that or rich enough to afford the finer comforts in life.

You feel left out? I'm the only guy from Swyn and also the only guy rocking no magic, lol. Mind you i'm not complaining, being granted access to a shotgun makes things more than even in my opinion.

Thus far things appeared to be going well for Jacque once more; He was actually making a good pace through the forest, and he was being quite enough that he hadn't been noticed by anyone thus far. The bounty hunter frowned a bit as he wondered just what this group was doing and if any of them had anything to do with the bodies he'd spotted earlier, however he ultimately decided that it was not his problem and continued on his way. A set of voices that most definitely didn't sound as though they came from the path caused Jacque to freeze in place. He crouched a bit and swiveled his head to find the source before he spotted two people ahead of him whom had also appeared to opt for an alternate route. They appeared to be talking about something and hadn't noticed him, which was good, but it didn't change the fact that he'd failed to notice them.

Jacque felt like slapping himself, he knew his father definitely would have done it. He'd been so focused on walking lightly and looking at the group on the road that he'd neglected to make sure there was no one in the woods with him. He shook his head disgustedly as he mentally lambasted his naïveté before he pushed off again, this time taking slower and more deliberate steps, and remaining crouched so as to make himself a bit more inconspicuous.

@Mistress Dizzy I ask myself something like that every day. The only answer that i've been able to come up with is a quote from The Doctor, which is to say, "wobbly wobbly, timey wimey...stuff.".

"Buddy, I have no idea what the hell you're eating, but you need to eat less of it. Seriously, how can someone look scrawny but feel this heavy?" Jacque grunted as he trotted along the dirt road with his quarry hung securely on his shoulders like some sort of prize belt. The horse thief offered no sort of retort of course, as he was still very much unconscious. As Jacque was almost clueless when it came to how "dead weight" worked, he simply passed off the man's heft as an abundance of eating, and began to grumble about how people outside of Swyn had it easy.

His grumbling was quickly cut short as he saw several figures up ahead, far enough to where he couldn't hear them, but close enough to make out how many there were. Now, Jacque wasn't the most clever man on the planet, but he was smart enough to know that him trying to stroll through a group of people with a gun on his back and an obviously shot man on his shoulder would be a very poor idea. With that in mind, Jacque stepped off of the path and a few yards into the woods, hoping that he might be able to sneak past the group unmolested. He began to creep forward, trying to keep an idea both on the group and where he placed his feet at the same time. This of course didn't work out quite the way he wanted it to, as the dry leaf litter, nuts and twigs that covered the forest floor made things quite tricky. Still, Jacque did his best to keep noise to a minimum as he advanced towards the group.

Dimitri gave a soft yelp of surprise as the sudden bright light hurt his eyes. He rubbed them, being unaccustomed to weapon transformations as he'd never had a partner, though the discomfort caused by the sudden flash was quickly forgotten when he stopped rubbing his eyes to look at Alissa, or rather, her weapon state. The meister reached across the table once more and grabbed the sword, noting that the long hilt of the weapon somehow balanced Alissa even with her sheath and all of its extra components.

Dimitri held Alissa by her hilt and sheath, spared a moment to look around to make sure no one was watching him, then tried to pull the sword from the sheath. It wouldn't budge, not even a single inch. Dimitri tried once more, this time adding more strength to his pull, but not enough to where he felt he might hurt Alissa, if it was at all possible in her current state. He tugged four more times, before finally giving up and placing Alissa on the table. "Quite a pickle..." He mused aloud as he shifted attention to the sheath, lightly tapping down its length to see how sturdy it is. "Looks like it might be able to stand up to a far bit of stress. The chains should be especially useful in blocking..." He said as he ran his fingers across the chains. He continued to caress the weapon for a few seconds before he remembered three details that where not only vital, but extremely awkward: This weapon was a person, it was a person that happened to be female, and Dimitri had zero clue about how weapon anatomy worked. Dimitri's cheeks flushed red as he stopped to consider what exactly he was doing before he began to stammer. "Oh Death I forgot it was still you! I really hope this isn't weird! I'm not touching you inappropriately a-am I? I'm so so sorry if i'm doing something wrong here! Wait, can you hear me?" He asked all in one breath.

Due to concerns that Jacque may end up just fading into the back ground, i'm debating whether or not to at least let him see the group, and possibly interact to a minor extent. Would I be correct in assuming that everyone is more or less in the same area at this point?
