As someone who works for a pet store I both love and hate pixar. The next person that tries to ask me if we have "a dory fish" for their goldfish bowl is getting straight up clubbed like a baby seal

Mao was not having a good day: He'd been shoehorned into a mass fight to the death, he'd spilled some of his wine, and someone had hit him from behind when he wasn't looking. His back still burned in the spot where the orb had struck him, though it was much less concerning that the needle bearing woman that had nearly taken his eye out when he was staggered. Blood ran hot down his cheek from the gash that the weapon's tip created. The woman pulled her weapon back with a soft sucking sound as it was tugged from Mao's flesh, bringing with it a wave of anger that Mao hadn't felt in years. The monk snarled and swung his weapon in a horizontal arc with both hands, catching his would be killer in her hip before she had the chance to move. There was a crunch, followed by a sharp cry as the woman's hip bone was shattered from the blow. Mao rose to his feet and held his weapon overhead as he prepared to finish his aggressor off, though he managed to catch his senses mere seconds before he could crush the woman's skull with the heavy ball end of his glaive.

Rage was immediately replaced by shame as Mao realized just what he'd done. Still, now was neither the time nor the place to lament what he'd done. The monk muttered an apology to his opponent before leaving her to whatever fate awaited her, likely death at the hands of another fighter.
@Mistress Dizzy I'd actually prefer to let Dimitri remain ignorant at least for now. It'd allow for a bit more development with Kassy as a singular person instead of it being Kassy and Dimitri or Kassy as Mirage.
Jacque uneasily stood in silence as he realized that Habb was actually considering going through with everything. It was madness, pure and simple, every fiber of Jacque's being told him to withhold information, to lie to Habb that the wolves would not be distracted, and most importantly, to tell him what would happen if he messed up. He frowned deeply before relenting under a combination of Habb's gaze and a sliver of hope that the stragglers inside of the castle were still in one piece. The forest man licked his dry lips and swallowed, "Wolves are opportunistic hunters, generally going for the easiest meal they can get. They operate by staking out a group, normally they try to single out the sickly, the injured, the old, and the extremely young, though if no such targets exist then they'll simply go for whichever prey animal strays far from the group. Now after they single out a target, the wolves will rush in to cause the group to break apart, moving in what appears to be an erratic pattern to keep their prey from banding together. From there they separate the target and corner it to go in for the kill." he stated lowly. "In case be wondering why i'm mentioning all of this, as it stands we're the only group of potential prey here. So unless you've got a parlor trick that can conjure up the illusion of a gimped deer, one of us is going to have to play bait." There was a fair bit of grimness in Jacque's voice, but also an extremely subtle hint of what may have possibly been resignation.

Now instead of telling him to shut up for Habb's sake, Jacque's subconscious was raising almighty cain at the internal debate taking place. He was split down the middle by morality and self preservation instincts, a rather brief but intense battle the outcome of which quickly became evident by the grimace on Jacque's face. "Bait thats probably going to have to be me." he stated in a shaky voice. Running from wolves was never fun nor was it easy, and Jacque could count on his fingers how many times he'd nearly died in the process of doing so. Flying wolves took that difficulty to a whole new level. Still, from the looks of the group he got the feeling that he was the only one that had actually done so before.
Louisiana stood rigid as he heard Carolina bark his name alongside those of Indiana and Hawaii, "Yes ma'am!" he shot out reflexively before jogging towards the veteran freelancer to listen in on the plan. As carolina spoke, Louisiana snagged his own pistol and racked the slide to ensure there was nothing in the chamber before he snagged three magazines. The first was slid into his weapon which was then holstered on his waist before being met by the other two as they were clipped on as well. "So i'm playing scout? Eh, works for me." He said with a hint of amusement in his tone. The prospect of being the lookout was both an interesting and refreshing one for Louisiana, after all, his strongest abilities lied in the arming and disarming of explosive devices, and while he loved doing so with a passion, the idea of playing a different role excited him. Louisiana glanced down at his pistol and smirked beneath his helmet. His main weapon was a light machine gun, a hefty weapon with a kick to match it's weight, something that often forced him to seriously barrel down on it whenever he needed to shoot. With the considerably lighter recoil and weight of the pistol he'd have very little trouble taking shots from up on high to cover his team, all he had to do now was hope he could get at least one of the other team out before he was noticed.

Name: Rakans'mei Jakarta (Has learned to just go by "Rocky")
Age: 29 earth years
Gender: Male
Race: Skalen- A race of sapient predatory reptilian/humanoid creatures that have evolved on a densely forested heavy gravity world were there are no mammalian species.
Appearance:
- Rocky stands at approximately eight feet tall in height, four and a half feet across at the shoulder, and weighs roughly five hundred and fifty two pounds. He wears a size XXL pair of grey cargo pants and an equally large sleeveless black hoodie.

Ability/Power: As with all Skalens Rocky boasts superhuman levels of strength, and his capable of lifting well over twice his own body weight with some effort.
How they got their Ability/power: Simply put; Evolution. The heavy gravity of his planet coupled with higher oxygen levels than that of earth and a predatory lifestyle has molded Rocky into a strong and durable creature who is a force to be reckoned with in a fight.
Skills: Rocky is an excellent tracker and hunter, using his natural senses and training to hunt down man and beast alike. He's also very well suited to carry heavy cargo and can act as an intimidation tool for the crew as needed.
Equipment: A cleaver, a Sargon b2, and an inhaler

History: There's nothing particularly interesting about Rocky's life. Prior to his people's discovery by humans, he would have simply been placed into either a warrior or hunter caste depending on where his skills shined brightest. However with the colonization of their planet having taken place several decades before his birth, the Skalen had begun taking on other roles to better fit with a rapidly expanding social and economical change. Some Skalen still clung to their traditions unbudgingly, but a other had learned to integrate themselves with a society that offered things like medicine and new and exciting technology. Rocky was best described as a middle point between the two groups of Skalen; taking advantage of things like the human education system while still learning the ways of the hunt from his elders. He eventually got a job as a safari guide for humans eager to hunt the local fauna until amassing enough money to leave his planet in search of new worlds to learn about and hunt on. He would eventually make his way over to Kalda where he would meet a group of people that left a good enough impression on him to convince him to travel with them as a mercenary.

Personality: Despite his primal and vicious appearance, Rocky is actually a rather laid back -if not crude- individual when not engaged in combat. He tries to refrain from giving into his more basic urges, though he has a bit of an issue controlling himself around vast amounts of food, usually resulting in him stuffing himself with as much meat as possible in a single sitting. Rocky is rather fond of the other members of the crew, though his brand of affection is definitely more in line with the tough love mentality, with plenty of shoving and shoulder punching (as much as he can manage without actually hurting someone). The only time one ever has to be careful around Rocky is when there's a fight to be had, as he loses his inhibitions rather quickly and may try to take a snap at someone in the heat of the moment.
Other: Being that he's from a planet with heavy gravity but high oxygen levels, Rocky can move startlingly fast for his size, but can become short of breath very quickly on other planets and as a result, cannot participate in drawn out activities or battles without his inhaler.
@olcharlieboi Well admittedly gravity isn't my strongest subject when it comes to sciences, I was just trying to give a reason for my character wielding the strength he has. However given the fact that his planet is habitable enough for human colonization we know that it's definitely less than three times earth's gravity. A bit of googling led me to an article that stated that a human was able to handle twenty four straight hours in 2x earth's gravity without ill effects, so I think i'll settle on Rocky's planet have a gravity that is 1x greater, and that the main bulk of his strength comes from both that and the fact that his planet has higher oxygen levels, thereby allowing larger sized creatures and greater muscle mass. It would definitely help tie in with the fact that he needs an inhaler to avoid passing out when on other planets since his body consumes more oxygen. Tracking back to the strength thing, Skalens would be able to lift twice their body weight with effort as mentioned in my CS, so let's say that with his weight at 552lbs, he could lift roughly 1104lbs if he was well grounded and put some real muscle into it. I'd like to cap his strength at about 1100lbs if that would be fine with you.
So what do I do with Louisiana exactly? He's kind of just standing around wondering what he's supposed to do since no one answered his question in my first post.

Louisiana whistled in an attempt to catch Tex's attention, having surmised that the name of the game for today's training session would be a firefight. "Hey, so, what do I do exactly?" He asked somewhat uncertainly. Louisiana had heard stories of the freelancer's, shall we say, less than amiable nature, and was rightly afraid of her reaction to what could be considered a stupid question. Still, he'd had to put away his latest pet project to come to the training room, something would rather have had to do with an actual reason. "Woah, what's going on?" Someone inquired somewhere behind him. Despite being a demolitions expert, Louisiana proved to be surprisingly jumpy at the strangest of times, as evidenced by the slight jump he did before sharply turning to glare at Hawaii, an action ultimately lost thanks to his helmet. "Jesus, give a guy a heart attack, will you? It's another simulation battle I think. ".
Apologies for my lack of replies, been extremely busy with work. I should have another one up some time later tonight.
