I'm just a simple college student working his way through life while simultaneously testing the limits of how much caffeine and alcohol the human body can subsist on before it gives out. Just call me Shade.

Apologies regarding the bow bit, I occasionally get recurve and compound bows mixed up. I'll update that and the inventory accordingly.
Sorry for taking so long to get my CS up.

As the sun began it's ascent towards the heavens the citizens that lived under the protection of the kingdom of Raphael all began to stir in their homes, each of them eager to begin their daily ritual. Children were roused from their beds and made to groom themselves and leave for school, men left to earn coin with the trades that they shined best in, and the women who did not accompany the men went about doing house work or visiting one another for the latest gossip. Yes, it seemed as though everyone was busy with one sort of task or another. Everyone save for one. A lone man standing outside of the kingdom's church stifled a yawn as he watched everyone move about. To the unaware it would seem as though the man was lazy or had just woken up and was fighting off the delicious spell that was drowsiness. This could not be any further from the truth however; the man standing outside of the church was not lazy, but he was indeed drowsy. His drowsiness did not come from his recent awakening however, rather it came from the fact that the man had awoken hours before the sun had even begun to rise.

Cain Argus watched with silent fascination as people moved back and forth along the city streets, acting for all the world as though the they had no idea that the potential for war was upon their doorstep. Then again, perhaps they did know and simply did what they could to distract themselves from the thought. Cain honestly wasn't sure these days. A tug on the back of his cassock alerted the bishop to the presence of a young boy, one of a dozen children that the church had taken in when their parents were claimed by death for one reason or another. He turned and knelt down to look the boy in the eye, his tired and haunted expression replaced with one of reserved warmth and patience, "How might I help you, my child?", he said softly, "We didn't see you at breakfast Father Argus, is everything alright?". Cain chuckled softly at the boy's concern. He had indeed missed his morning meal, but in exchange for it he'd been able to find the time to both patrol the kingdom's borders before even some of the knights had risen, and file the necessary paperwork to ensure the church would not be in need of extra funding any time soon.

"I appreciate your concern, my child. I assure you that I am fine, after all, the light of God and his angels shines upon me as much as it does upon you, does it not?", The boy pretended to debate this, his face scrunching up in an exaggerated manner before he nodded a few times "Yessir". Cain smiled and reached up to tousle the boy's hair with a gloved hand, "Right, now then, don't you think it's time that you went back inside? Sister Freya will tan your hide if you miss you class you know.". As the child reentered the church Cain stood and turned back to the streets, his face an unreadable slate beneath a few loose strands of brown hair.
Sad to see one of ours go, but i'm still here. I'm in the process of working up a post now.
That's understandable, I was hoping to have something that could get by on little food due to a low metabolism such as a snake or monitor lizard, but I can definitely work that out as being a later down the road sort of deal. Assuming you'd approve it that is.

This has piqued my interest as i've been meaning to join something that's more in line with the traditional D&D type role-plays. I want to make a Ranger based character but before doing so I just wanted to ask if animal companions would be allowed, provided of course I didn't go with something insanely broken like dragons or anything such as that.
When are we going to get this thing started? It's nearly been a month!

Wanted to inquire about this myself. I understand that there are forces that may result in a lack of free time for a hobby such as this, but it'd probably be a good idea if there we at least had a prediction of when a start date might be.
Name: Dimitri Collins
Age: 23
Gender: Male
Appearance: - He stands at roughly 6'4" and weighs 91kg. His taste in clothing is pretty average, though he does have a preference for t-shirts, cargo pants, and boots.

History: Dimitri's life was a bit of a rough and tumble one: The youngest of three siblings growing up in a small house in Rockhill South Carolina, Dimitri was taught from an early age how to fight or flee to keep hold of what was his. His parents couldn't afford much with their current jobs, typically making only enough to keep a roof over everyone's heads and food in their stomachs. Luxuries such as vacations, television, and even new clothing were often ignored in favor of keeping the power and water running. As could be expected the lack of luxuries created a bit of a gap between Dimitri and most of his peers, and Dimitri suffered more than his fair share of bullying all throughout grade school and partially into his first year of high school. Things changed rather rapidly once he hit puberty and Dimitri began towering over his classmates. They changed even more when Dimitri decided to join the school's boxing club and start using what he'd learned to get a bit of payback on the people that had mocked him in the past. After several suspensions and a near expulsion for instigating fights with and occasionally mugging other students, Dimitri found himself diving on a downward spiral into the life of a criminal. He started running with small time gangs in his sophomore year, and by the time he'd graduated, skewed college in favor of continuing with what he thought was the path to easy money. He hopped from state to state for a bit, falling in and out of all sorts of gangs until he found himself recruited by the Syndicate with the promise of a lifetime of riches.

Skills:

  • Brawler- A childhood packed with fights allows him to compensate for the fact that he only has a few years of actual lessons under his belt. A skilled fighter who can take a hit as well as he can give one, Dimitri likes to dominate his opponents with his sheer size and ferocity, pressing the attack while shrugging off anything short of a blow to a vital area or an attack with a weapon.
  • Sheer strength- He's strong and durable, more accustomed to lifting and carrying heavy loads.
  • Intimidation- A rather imposing individual, Dimitri can be made to strong arm others in order to produce favorable outcomes
  • Minor Gang connections- His runs with several minor gangs has given Dimitri a small network for street info and favors
  • Short to mid range fire arm usage- Dimitri understands how to use handguns and shotguns
  • Grand Theft- Dimitri can hot wire a car if need be.

Flaws:

  • Limited Education- Dimitri only has a high school level education. He's not stupid, but he's not exactly someone to come up with a complex plan
  • Arrogant- The fact that he rarely loses a fight or has to deal with people contesting him has given Dimitri an misplaced sense of self-importance. It doesn't really affect his ability work too badly, but it does mean that he can underestimate people on a regular basis. It can also put a strain on his relationship with those he works with unless they can find a way to deflate his ego. Beating him in a fist fight is the easiest way of doing so. Blackmail also works.
  • Gang Rivalries- The door swings both ways. For all of the friends that he's made in gangs Dimitri has made just as many enemies. Rival gang members are still more than willing to take a shot at him, as are those from previously friendly gangs that believe that he's betrayed them
  • Terrible driver- Ironically Dimitri has almost no experience with driving due to a lack of driving lessons
  • Acrophobia- Dimitri has a crippling fear of heights. He shuts down if forced into high places where he can see the ground below him.

Vices: Dimitri is an alcoholic.
Occupation: Manual labor jobs mostly, drug and weapon running back when he was still with other gangs.
Theme Song:Travi$ Scott - The Prayer
