Raineh, Perhaps Yog feels that magic characters also have the potential to abuse their powers massively but regardless let's not get into another pointless tiff here please.
Yeah it's almost pretty much inevitable.

And then there's the fact that the government is building an "inescapable" supervillain prison that all of the League's future big threats will be sent to eventually. Yeah there's not going to be any Arkham Asulyum-esque problems there no sir.
Well with Furious, his strength is only theoretically limitless. With all the limits that were built in to his powers (such as receiving less and less strength with each hit), realistically he would be physically overwhelmed long before he could attain say Silver Age Superman strength. But that is a fair point. I'm just trying to find a happy balance between the thoughts of all the players on this issue. But I do see that Yog has been consistently responsible towards not being overpowered with his character. I also don't want this to become bogged down into another heated argument either.

This exchange is not meant to reflect anything personal towards you or your roleplaying abilities Yog, nor does it indicate a lack of trust. Some players may have a concern with the power and its potential to be abused, but they do not lack trust in you either. Hot Rod is accepted, and I appreciate everyone's civility in this discussion and your willingness to have measured conversation. Regarding magic characters, none of them have abilities with as much destructive potential as Hot Rod and they all follow the rule that massive power equals massive costs. Now if you really want to have the ability, I'll allow it in light of this discussion but just keep everything that has been said in mind. I appreciate everyone's civility in this discussion and the willingness to have reasonable dialogue about it.
Blowing wind with 33 tons of force does seem somewhat excessive Yog. If his character wouldn't use that power than the capability can be reduced without anything fundamentally changing.
The team could use some help, all the trainers are in the process of breaking out and ruining everyone's day.
Oh wait it's actually called True Humans. My bad. True Humans is basically a militant anti-superhuman group, they're very violent and hateful. PMDF could be an activist counter-part with possible ties to the more violent True Humans. Ridiculous name it may be but then what ativist group doesn't have a ridiculous name?

Wait, everyone's been reading the Meta Codex, right? Right? *whimpers*
Well there's that but I was referring to how political groups and activists would probably react haha. There was this whole "Silence of the Lambs" thing that Pariah had when he investigated Abattoir which would make for a pretty gruesome book if I ever actually become a writer.

And Yog some issues have been raised to me about Hot Rod's powers. Namely that his range should top out at fighter jet speeds because jumbo jets are prone to knocking vehicles end over end. And bodily sound control and protective field are fine but it's been raised to my attention that sonic booms seem to decrease as speeds increase strangely, so that power can be axed and you can adapt his flying ability to use jet thrusts to knock people back.
It's not the real world but it reflects political, social, and cultural realities we have in our own for the most part. You could have his wingman's death be the subject of a training accident gone wrong or a mechanical mishap. It could even be an Awakening related incident.

And that's a far point about his powers. Everything else stands.
About ten or twelve feet high with four armed guards around it. And you'd have to get away from Chrome first.
Ryker's is fine for the most part.

The method in which is powers emerged are a flavor of freak accident that don't really make sense to me. I can buy chemicals making someone permanently invisible (with the Awakening's help) but Hot Rod's case smacks of much too handwaving for my taste. Just tweak him to be an Awakened Metahuman and it should be fine. And to balance out the fact that he can imitate a fighter jet, I'd like the physical costs for channeling the fastest vehicles to be pretty massive to balance gameplay. You can still get a lot of traction from channeling a high-performance sports car for most situations and reserving the fastest speeds for special situations.

Also I wouldn't claim him to be the fastest man alive, because there will doubtless be other speedsters both PC and NPC some of whom who will be as fast if not faster.

Also it's very unlikely for any Middle Eastern Terrorists to shoot down a fighter jet as pre-awakening Terror groups wouldn't have that kind of capability. Something else would have to worked out.

Other than that the sheet is fine.
