Oh my bad, everything get's jumbled in this head of mine after awhile.
It's neither particularly great or bad.

I do want that Comic-Con teaser to come out though.
Kali raised an eyebrow appreciatively, it was good to know that their third member had more utility than previously thought. They needed someone who was a crack shot, Kali was competent with her SMG but there was a reason she mostly stuck to her shotgun and her blades. Having someone with a tactical cloak was always an advantage, but Kali had always found that she could be just as quiet and stealthy without one. Kali smiled at Ghost, "Well it's nice to finally meet you Michael."

Kali stared obliquely at Alexa and rolled her eyes, "Well I'm glad we cleared the air, but honestly Alexa. That's just not something you say to a man." Kali didn't particularly care for Michael but throwing his morale down the gutter before a near-impossible mission wasn't a smart move. And one didn't just tell a man they would kill them, one should just kill them. Kali chuckled, "At the very least give him a head-start, who knows he might save your life by time we're done."

The Asari Huntress smiled at Alexa and spoke up, "Well this is exactly the kind of thing I was trained for. Long campaigns against numerically superior enemies. Although I am more than sure that quite a bit of killing will be involved. Knowledge is power, I say we put out feelers through all our contacts and determine who these Puppetmasters are. Or at least who works for them and where their bases are. I have a contact that works for the Shadow Broker. No doubt with our client's discretionary funds we can find out something about this group. I encourage you both to use your own networks and we can pool our information."

Kali pulled up her Omni-Tool and started typing. Her encrypted text messages reached her contact and he replied.

Her Omni-Tool beeped as H sent over all the files they had on the Puppetmasters and Kali opened the files, displaying it on her holographic projector. Let's see what O could dig up
Unintended references FTW :P

Didn't you have a few more for Sonja's Rogues? I distinctly remember a Count Corvus fellow and some kind of Catfish man xD
I'm getting some serious Sarah Connor vibes from Last Chance xD
Kali found that she instantly disliked the Client. He was quite the unprofessional, one did not belittle his potential employees in such a manner. His little ambiguous and ambitious speech followed by a complete inability to answer questions cemented Kali's impression of him as a thoroughly unpleasant person. Kali wouldn't mind taking out a contract on him after this business was done, but for the moment he was her boss. Fortunately reconnaissance and indirect action was right up her alley. These Puppetmasters seemed like a formidable enemy but Kali was confident that with her allies she could get the job done.

No doubt eliminating a major player like the Puppetmasters would go a long way to padding her accounts and her reputation, getting on the good sides of the other Underworld bosses was always a plus. They just needed somewhere to start, a location for these puppetmasters. No doubt, they'd have to consult the Shadow Broker or some other Information dealer. If only their Client had been so kind as to provide them with such. Although they could always just use his money.

The Client's revelation of Ghost's personal history made her look at their male comrade with fresh eyes. Dead parents, from the C-Sec bombing? A few blanks were being filled. Kali sighed at Alexa's intimidation but nonetheless she stood next to her and looked at Ghost or whoever he was. Kali laid a hopefully placating hand lightly on Alexa's shoulder and said, "Now now. This is already a formidable task, we don't need to make it harder for ourselves by eliminating a third of our team." Kali tilted her head at Ghost and said, "But she is right. You do owe it to us to come clean."
Hi Sam!

Quick question, how much of a dancer is your Turian?
Meh, just gonna call it First Blood and call it good.
Kali smirked right back at Alexa, "Certainly. I enjoy a challenge." For an idle moment Kali wondered if she had gone too far. Some might see Kali's advances as a challenge to Aria, hell maybe Alexa thought it was too. It certainly wasn't her intention to headhunt Aria's Fist, but Kali had to wonder if Aria was the jealous type. She didn't think the Pirate Queen was, she certainly wasn't a one-partner Asari from what Kali remembered. But who knew what Alexa was really thinking? This line of thinking could become dangerous. But then again so what if it was? Kali wasn't the type to shy away from danger.

She was about to say something else when their mysterious Client walked in. Kali wondered if he really knew everything there was to know or it was all just bluster. Regardless, it wouldn't be wise to test him no doubt he had backup somewhere. Besides, a nobody wouldn't have been able to afford that hefty advance that Kali had gotten. She wasn't so far overwhelmed by the Client but that might change, her past wasn't exactly a secret but one would have needed excellent sources to know about Kali's last love. But then again he might have gotten his information from the Shadow Broker for all she knew. It was best for her and her bank account that she not cross him.

Kali leaned slightly to one side and crossed her arms while she listened to the client speak.
Feel free to keep posting for now, the new IC probably won't go up until later tonight or tomorrow morning and even then we won't start the new thread until I get at least three or four more players. I also need a good non-cliche name for the subtitle :P
