Sam, Why I was not aware that thou were intrigued by fantasy roleplay.

I have dishonored our friendship *commits seppuku, only manage to maim myself*

NOTHING GOES RIGHT

Anyway, feel free to join Sam you're always welcome in a D-play. Yes D-play is a thing now.

I'll have the OOC up today.
Twilight keyed up for a fight, maintaining steady breathing while her barrier rose and carried her into the air over her assumed position on the field. From this point she could cover the most ground and command the best view. She hovered ten feet over the field and waited for the match to start. Nervous excitement coursed through her mind but the disciplined hero didn't let it adversely affect her. She did not allow a shred of doubt as to the outcome of this match. Juno would beat Adam and hopefully knock him down a peg. The match started and Juno let Adam have the first move. She preferred to let the other side act first and make the first mistakes. She saw Adam charge up an attack aimed at herself and Quantum. Twilight immediately erected two transparent hardlight shields in front of herself and Quantum. They wouldn't stop his attack so much as repulse them, the barrier was designed to deflect the attack back at the enemy team instead of blocking it entirely. Meanwhile, with a gesture, Twilight fired a barrage of hard light spheres from her position down at the enemy side. It was a veritable hailstorm of the light balls. They would detonate on contact in a blast of heat, hard light pieces, and concussive force. They were designed to stun, bruise, and lightly burn but would leave no serious injuries. As such they were not much effort to create and fire and would hopefully provide a window for her team to act.
Added a map that works to the OP. Caits, Good to have you and Zealous back and any character from the OT can be used again but we're basically rebooting the storyline. And they have to have a reason to be involved. fantasyfan, Hmm well you can certainly use a character from the Arthur mythos but playing Merlin himself would be too OP for the purposes of the thread. You could certainly play an original character who is a mage or use any of the characters from the stories who didn't die. And a sentient dragon would be pretty OP as well but you could always play a dragon lord with a perfectly normal and average dragon. There's enough interest that I'll start on making the thread ASAP, expect the OOC tomorrow at the earliest.
OOC

Hundreds of years ago, The fires of the Dragon Lords raged across a continent and burned all resistance to cinders. None stopped them, not the vicious reavers of the frozen coast, nor the wildmen of the hills, or the knights of Albion. Armies were burned alive and cities fell in days to the might of the dragons. And from the ashes, one of the greatest Empires in the world was born. An United Empire of Europa stretching from the Neverlands to the frozen Rus. An Empire made up of scores of kingdoms and dozens of conquered peoples. The Empire that stopped the insatiable Olympian Imperium and drove the Summer Court into its forests and underground dwellings and the Winter Court into the frozen wasteland. Those of the Dragonblood rule a mighty land and their hunger for more has not waned.

On all sides the Empire sees potential allies and foes. The Wonderlands and Oz pay tithes to the Dragon King and are conquered in all but name, and trade and pilgrims flows freely between the three lands. The Tsardom of Rus to the East has long resisted the Empire and talk grows of a coming alliance, though many on both sides would prefer continued aggression. The the North, the Dragons continue their conquest on the Free Cities of Neverland, the Royal Armada making allies where it can and destroying the rest. One by one the Free Cities have either fallen or surrendered to dragon fire, the rest resisting alone or in coalition. To the West, explorers continue to find new lands to fly the Dragon Banner, while a whole Dragon Corps has been devoted to the subjugation of the Sky Kingdom of the Giants discovered by Sir Jack of the Stalk. And in the south, the once mighty Olympian Imperium is slowly declining from the ongoing press of Europa and internal struggle between the Demigod Families.

And in the Capital of Alexandria, tensions rise as the King contests with the political strife of his relatives and the other Dragon families. Talk of growing discontent among the Dragon Lords is abounding along with reports of dissension among the ranks of the human noble houses. The Draconian homeland is in growing turmoil, a conflict between the royalist families and those who would see the Dragon Islands free from the rule of a "soft" ruler in the Mainland. The blood of Olympus and the blood of the Dragons continues to spill in the hot desert continent of Alkebulan, both mighty Empires fighting over the rich land while the natives suffer.

All is not well in the world of Erde and in the North, dark forces are rising. A land of Nord warriors, wildmen clans, beserkers, barbarian tribes, were-beasts, and sturdy Northern Houses. A land where survival depends on a quick sword hand as well as a quick mind. This land overseen by the descendants of the mighty Beowulf has seen unseasonable cold. Winter winds and snow-storms have appeared well before their time, travelers have gone missing on the kingsroad, entire villages have gone silent, and talk of blood-thirsty creatures and mysterious figures fill every tavern. Lord Wiglaf Wulf, Beowulf's heir has called a meeting of every Knight, Sorcerer, Lord, and Chieftan in the North to discuss the phenomenon and formulate a solution. There has been no word from the Fire Throne but a coalition of Southern Lords has journeyed North to investigate. As the cold winds blow, heroes must arise to combat this threat or the North will become the grave of millions.

So there you have it, this RP is a Dark Fantasy Action and Survival thread. It will always be open and is the first part of a shared world known as the Dragon Dance, where the actions of the players will change the events of this thread as well as all others. You can create a character based off of any fairy tale, myth, legend, or story or your own original character. The characters will be part of a number of separate factions all with their own motivations and goals. Expect lots of murder, magic, combat, espionage, survival, horror, monsters, fantastic creatures, and much more. The actions your character will affect how the game plays out and success is not guaranteed. Anyone interested?
Juno nodded her head at Fenrir and minutely smirked. She did not care a whit for the teleporter and honestly it would do the team good to get rid of the chaff. He'd ceased to be an asset and he was no longer of use. He could go back to stopping muggers if it appealed to him so much. While Fenrir detailed the excercise, Juno's mind worked overdrive and processed the room in quick succession mapping out likely points of attack to either flag and possible defensive positions. With her power set Twilight could mobilize anywhere on the field and assume a defensive or aggressive posture in scant seconds. When the teams were announced Juno beamed inside. At least their fearless leader had enough sense to realize that she was a real boon to the team. It was just another rung on the ladder to running the team herself. She kept her face neutral and started formulating basic plans for this encounter. Twilight faced her team. Out of all of them, Belle was the only one she liked and she was a nearly uncontrollable bundle of rage. Madcap was insane, Molotov was confrontational, and Quantum was just a prick. But at least they had useful skills and abilities. Hopefully their personalities wouldn't get in the way of the mission. Juno faced the team and said, "Ok this is how we're going to do it. I'll be directing the team from the midpoint between the flags. I'll be support and will provide cover and fire support as necessary and alter our tactics on the fly. Quantum, when the fight starts I want you to alter gravity and pin the opposing team down as well as you can but leave the area near the flag untouched. Molotov will provide support for Quantum and engage anyone he can't pin down. A rain of fireballs should be enough to keep them busy. Madcap will make a run for the flag, hit and run, grab it and haul ass back while the rest of us cover you. Belle will be in reserve and guard our flag, if anyone gets past me I need you to put the screws to them. Any questions?"
How about a Justice League game xD
Juno only nodded at Fenrir but inside she reeled at the rejection of her ideas. She swallowed her pride and kept her peace and followed the team outside the room. Twilight mused at how different things would be if she were in charge. There was ample time for dreams in bed however. After such a long day she needed the rest. The young hero went to her room and fell asleep almost immediately. no.....please.....no.... White stained with red. The smell of cordite and urine and sweat. The whimpers of broke men. The crackling of smoke. The thunderous beating of her heart. This moment stretching on forever. no...... Juno woke in a cold sweat, gasping for air. With a start she realized she was floating in the air off her bed, enveloped in a white barrier. Her heart was pounding and her breath came in ragged gasps. With effort she swallowed her heart back down and her breathing slowed until she came back onto the bed. Juno shook her head and got dressed and washed up before heading to the training area. Compared to the rest of the facility it was decidedly low-tech, it was akin to the gyms she started her career with. Still one didn't need to be fancy when it came to training and her abilities would be almost as good as a holo projector if they needed it.
Where is everyone
I actually really liked Black Spider. I think him actually kicking Batman's ass would've been way cooler. I also full heartedly support Will Smith for Deadshot, great casting in my opinion. Same for Dwayne Johnson as Black Adam.
