As a robot, Bender has quite a lot of abilities. He is able to stretch his arms long distances as well as record data in his head, once using this to get Richard Nixon to give him back his body. He also breathes fire whenever he burps and when he is terrified he sometimes ejects bricks from his backside which is his variant of defecation. (This is a reference to the slang phrase, to "s**t bricks", meaning to be very scared or surprised.) Although he usually only does this while in a state of shock, he has also done it after eating an Olestra potato chip from the 20th century. Bender is also very strong, even managing to bend a supposedly unbendable girder.
Bender is able to remove numerous parts of his body such as his head, arms, legs and even eyes. When he is staring at something or someone his eyes frequently extended out of his head. Like turtles he can withdraw into his chest when he chooses to. Bender can also survive in lava for a short time, though when he displays this ability his eyes melted as soon as he came out of the lava. Bender's body has also been used as a popcorn maker, crock pot, cannon, and steam engine.

Bender is a selfish and insensitive robot who usually only cares about himself. He often gets those around him in trouble due to his scheming, and shows little remorse for his actions. This is evident in how he commits crimes, which is without care and gladly commits them. He has gone from petty theft, to kidnapping over his lifelong crime spree. He has no sympathy for anyone, on Earth or off, with two exceptions. He identifies with turtles, and considers Phillip J Fry his best friend. Fry is the only human he claims not to want to kill.
Although normally seen as rude and selfish, Bender does sometimes have a soft side. Of course, it's usually only seen around his best friend, Fry.
In general though, Bender's behavior is defined in a rude or brash nature with excessive use of foul languages. Not only that, but he also has many vices. This includes smoking (makes him look cool), doing electricity (robot drugs), has had many relationships with various other female robots and is a heavy drinker. While technically not a vice since alcohol powers his fuel cells. He requires alcohol to remain sober, but has been seen to not drink and become drunk. Bender is also a kleptomaniac, and often steals and loots from his friends belongings. He also is a skilled con artist.
Bender is a strong proponent of robots attaining human righs, and gets upset when people claim human life is more important than robot life. This could be connected to his claims of 'kill all humans' as he has been seen at one point leading a robot uprising.
When he is sufficiently scared, Bender will "shit bricks". He also is a shutter bug, and will pull out a camera when anything that he finds particularly interesting comes by, claiming said thing is "neat".

He is also stated (by both Robot Santa and the Robot Devil) to be the most evil robot in existence. He is 5'6" not including his antenna. Including it, he is a little over 6 feet tall.
Weakness(es):
When knocked onto his back, he has a hard time getting back up. Anything you would want to do to a robot to damage it, you would do to Bender. Like blowing off legs or arms and limiting movement. Targeting sensors such as the optics/eyes. When one attaches magnets to his head, his inhibition unit malfunctions and he sings folk songs. He also is mortal by robot standards, as his personality and memories cannot be backed up on the MomCorp servers.
