The lives of many uninvolved people could be put at risk, and no one would know what happened. I'm aware of the privacy vs. security ordeal that many always argue over, and I apologize, but I make sure that the same being trying to possess you doesn't hurt those who don't deserve it.

But, seriously, it was only to ensure your safety, provide any proof of your guilt or innocence in anything that could have happened where you'd be marked as suspect for your recent visit, and to keep an eye on anything the prisoner could have done to you.
