I thought it was simpler than it really is. Hey, open a portal from point a to point b, only stretch the bounds beyond known coordinates. It got more complicated from there, and, as I'm sure most agree, a bery frightening experience upon success.

No, but it was a matter of no one having done what we did before that. We walked on new ground in what we were doing. Very risky.
